Please try resetting your tools from Tool options.
Open Tool options in PSE status bar. Click on flyout menu and click on Reset All Tools.
Let me know if this solves the issue.

In this very case, the fact is we can't give to "christinefromfonthill" a good solution because weren't sitting in front of her Mac.
You give her a good advice which could, perhaps, lead to an improvement.
But must also admit that Safari is a very slow browser compared to Firefox or Chrome.
And you can't ignore all the problems which arose when upgrading to Lion and were related to the new build and specs of Safari 5.1.
The best example is the apparition of "garbage type" (use of Last Resort font) when reading numerous sites. This never occured before and is the direct consequence of Safari compliance to Web Open Type. This standard prohibits the use of Type 1 Postscript Fonts and is the reason why so many people are in trouble.
I use a Mac for more than 25 years.
I am a very "clean" user who hates the bells and whistles of third party.
My Mac is always up-to-date and despite all my Mac loving care, I run into some problems.
Imagine the nightmare which can occurs for the vulgum pecus who isn't, by definition, a power user aware of all the requirements for running a System in optimal conditions.
May be Safari is one step in advance on its time but lambda users are paying the price for it. -

I have Lion. I have software that is not yet ready for Yosemite and I need to download video editing software that will only run on Mountain Lion and above. With this in mind, I purchased Mountain Lion online LAST WEEK. I received the secure email/pdf and tried to redeem it from Apple Store. I keep getting this message: "This item is being modified. Please try again later". That was about 6 DAYS AGO. I gave it some time and tried today and I am still getting this message.
What is going on? Called customer service and got disconnected twice (I don't think intentionally though). The third person had more info on this and it seems that Apple is just finding out about this and it may be related to the Watch rollout. Why don't Apple people say something? I check online and my order says "complete" but I have not received what I paid for and there's an error occurring. Now I am just here waiting to see if and when I can get this software.
Can someone provide more info on this? Is there another way to get Mountain Lion? Is it available on disc?
Without the OS upgrade I cannot use the video editing software.App Store support. There is troubleshooting and a contact link.

My husband and I both have this phone.
Typing on the keyboard to send messages is delayed, viewing photos- the phone locks up.
I went to our local Verizon Store where the clerk removed the battery to "reset" the phone.
It did absolutely nothing!

The Continuum is a great Galaxy S phone that has a dual display and wonderful screen resolution! I love how the ticker on the second screen provides real world updates on the key information like weather and text messages! There a few elements that could be causing the slow response from the device. Can I assume that the two devices that you are inquiring about does not have any physical or liquid damage? Also, what is the exact software version that you and your husband have on your Continuum(s)? Below are a few troubleshooting steps that you can try on your devices to get this issue resolved.
Verify that the you have a Verizon Wireless approved software version.
Remove any unused apps or widget from the device.
Delete long threaded text messages from the text message inbox.
Transfer and save all pictures, videos, and music onto a memory card.
Perform a factory reset on the device. (See link below)

Should you decide to perform a factory reset using the link above, it is highly recommended to back up your contacts and your calendar entries. Backup Assistant is a great app to save your contacts onto My Verizon. Calendar entries can be saved on your Gmail account. My macbook will not stay on without being plugged in. I had my macbook for about 3 years and the battery had less than 200 cycles on it and the computer suddenly would not stay on unless plugged in (went from holding about 1.5 hr charge to not holding charge at all). I purchased a new battery and this battery has 118 cycles on it. It is doing the same thing. When I unplug it the computer shuts off immediately. It will not stay in sleep mode either. What should I do? I assumed that it was because I tend to leave the computer plugged in so that the cycles stay low, but after only 118 cycles? (and the new battery is less than 8 months old). Could my computer be failing to register the battery? Please help me - I don't want to have to spend another $80 on a battery. (Just so you know, I have removed the battery and made sure the connection is good but this did not help.)
If your problems with the new battery are the same as the old battery, it would seem your Mac isn't charging the battery properly.
Perhaps it's a Magsafe/charger issue.
Read through the power section of this User tip here, try everyting, including the SMU Reset and see if that makes any difference.

I'm assuming you have this locked on a carrier...Did you take it to the carrier store and see what they say? You could try a restore but that most likely won't help...Sounds like maybe you have an upgrade in your future....

It is a 64 GB Iphone 5s and I am running Windows 7 x64 on all of my pcs.
I just got an iphone 5s and now it wont connect to any of my windows 7 PCs, it just gets detected as an unknown device and is unable to be detected correctly. Hi, my Macbook Pro has slowed down to a crawl on the internet since the airport security patch and OS update about 1 week ago. I am using Firefox 3.6.17 and have tried all versions up to date (but 3.6.17 is the best). Same issues with Safari too. I am using an Airport wireless modem also so should not be any issues with compliance. Local programs seem to run OK... but the internet is slow enough to grow a beard... Do they have a patch for this issue. It only started after the updates. Was blazing fast until that.
How large is your hard drive and how much hard drive space do you have left?
Disconnect all peripherals from your computer. Boot from your install disc & run Repair Disk from the utility menu. To use the Install Mac OS X disc, insert the disc, and restart your computer while holding down the C key as it starts up.
Select your language.
Once on the desktop, select Utility in the menu bar.
Select Disk Utility.
Select the disk or volume in the list of disks and volumes, and then click First Aid.
Click Repair Disk.
Restart your computer when done.

I just updated my iphone to ios7 and I keep getting stuck at the 'Set up your iPhone' screen. I click 'Restore from Itunes Backup', but it only ends up restarting after restoring and fails to get past the 'Set up your iPhone' screen. Any ideas?
Normally, I would suggest restoring the iPad and uninstall and reinstall iTunes but you have done both of those things - more times than you ever imagined!
Have you thought about turning auto syncing off?
Without connecting your iPad to your laptop, start iTunes. Click on Edit. Click on Preferences. Click on Devices. Check the box next to "Prevent your iPod etc. from automatically syncing." Click OK.
If you do this you can backup the iPad right away before it syncs. You may want to go into all of the iTunes tabs and just make sure that all of the current content on the iPad is selected to sync before you actually do sync.
This doesn't solve the problem, but it would prevent the automatic sync and erasing content. Hopefully, in the next few days- when iOS 5 is released - you will also be relieved of this weird iPad behavior - since the iOS devices are supposed to become PC free.
BTW - and this is no excuse for what you are experiencing, but I have found that some of the game apps that I had on my iPad turned out to be quite troublesome and after I removed them, my problems went away. I know that is almost sacrilege with regard to the Angry Birds addiction .... But I'm just saying ... -

I hate to say this, but unless you are paying the 25 bucks you cannot back up your library to the cloud.
All you can do is back up the items you "purchased" from Apple.

Hello, I just bought a 2013 Mac mini and I cannot get the sound to output to my Dell U2713HM monitor. I went to sound output but even though my Dell shows up there when I select it there is no sound output to it. I am using a mini DP to DP cable...Any ideas? Thanks
Hi Alxx911, and John Hammer1. After reading John's reply - " You can plug something into it's headphone jack. though" . I thought i'd try out of curiosity. I plugged in some headphones. I didn't expect anything to happen and nothing happened. The audio jack is for the Dell soundbar which is optional.

Attaching the Soundbar AX510 / AX510PA (Optional) CAUTION: Do not use with any device other than the Dell Soundbar. NOTE: The Soundbar power connector (+12 V DC output) is for the optional Dell Soundbar AX510/AX510PAonly. To attach the Soundbar: 1. Working from the back of the monitor, attach the Soundbar by aligning the two slots with the two tabs along the bottom of the monitor. 2. Slide the Soundbar to the left until it snaps into place. 3. Connectthe Soundbar with the DC power connector. 4. Insert the mini stereo plug from the back of the Soundbar into the computerís audio output jack. For HDMI/DP, you can insert the mini stereo plug into the monitorís audio output port. If there is no sound, check your PC if the Audio output is configured to HDMI/DP output.
This monitor has no speakers. (Like John Hammer1 mentioned). The no speakers feature was one of the reasons I chose this monitor.

It depends on what iMac you have. If it is an old PPC (G4 orG5) iMac then no further upgrades are possible. If it an Intel iMac:
