My ipad mini 4g shows no service

I've had my ipad mini lte/4g on at&t for almost 6 months with no issues. now all of the sudden it just says no service no matter what I do. I'm hoping it's not the radio that went and I know it's not the sim card because the card works in other ipads/iphones. Wifi works no issues. Have tried over and over resetting network settings/hard reset. I am trying to avoid restoring because I'd prefer not to upgrade to 6.1.3, and i'm not sure that will even help it it's a hardware issue.
Any suggestions?

I'm sorry to hear you are having issues with your 4g service.

It appears you have tried some of these steps, but you may have to follow steps 3, 4 and 5 to resolve the issue.

If you encounter any of the above symptoms on your iPhone, try these steps to attempt to resolve the issue. Test after each step.
Try turning iPhone off and then on again.
Remove the SIM card and verify that it is a valid, carrier-manufactured SIM. Also verify that it is not damaged, worn, or modified. Then reinsert it.
Check for a carrier settings update. Tap Settings > General > About while connected to a Wi-Fi network. If an update is available, a prompt should appear soon. If Wi-Fi is not available, connect your device to iTunes.
Update your iPhone to the latest version of iOS.
Restore the iPhone.
If you're still experiencing No Service issues, contact your carrier to check for any network or account issues that could cause this issue.

    In order to change your Apple ID or password for your iCloud account on your iOS device, you need to delete the account from your iOS device first, then add it back using your updated details. (Settings > iCloud, scroll down and hit "Delete Account")
    Providing you are simply updating your existing details and not changing to another account, when you delete your account, all the data that is synced with iCloud will also be deleted from the device (but not from iCloud), but will be synced back to your device when you login again.

    Hi Angela,
    I suspect it's background overhead used by TM leftover from this disk's TM days. Whatever it is, I don't know that there's a way to access it. To get rid of it, format the disk.

    When your account becomes disabled, Apple provides the following recommendation:

  • IPad mini is showing music that is not selected.

    I have an iPad Mini that is attached to my Apple ID but is used by my 3yr old son. I have selected only 3 playlists for music he likes to appear on his iPad. I am noticing that its also showing ALL of the PURCHASED music I have bought over the years that are in my iTunes library which is well over a thousand songs. When the iPad is connected to my iMac via the USB cable and I go to look at the Music Tab. I have Only Music from Selected Playlists checked off and checked boxes for each playlist I WANT to sync to the iPad. The check box for Purchased music is NOT checked however all the purchased songs keep appearing on the iPad Mini and I am sure that is eating up space considering its a 16gb iPad Mini and he only has 3gb left! There is no way the little bit of content that is on there is eating up that much space.
    Any thoughts?

    On the iPad, Settings > Music.
    Uncheck Show all music. (this will show all music that was purchased with the AppleID) and you can stream to the device).

    Try restoring with iTunes.
    Use iTunes to restore your iOS device to factory settings - Apple Support
    IF you can't get that to work, try recovery mode.

  • HT4113 My daughters IPad Mini only shows "Disabled" and I want to reset it?

    My daughers IPad mini shows only "This IPad is disabled" and "Connect to iTunes" and then the screen blinks out.  She has never entered iTunes and is not certain about her user name or her password.  How do I reset this device?   I assume I need to go to my other IPad or laptop and make changes.

    Recovery Mode
    1. Disconnect the USB cable from the device, but leave the other end of the cable connected to your computer's USB port.
    2. Turn off the device: Press and hold the Sleep/Wake button for a few seconds until the red slider appears, then slide the slider. Wait for the device to turn off.
    3.While pressing and holding the Home button, reconnect the USB cable to the device. The device should turn on.
    4. Continue holding the Home button until you see the "Connect to iTunes" screen. When this screen appears, release the Home button. iTunes should alert you that it has detected a device in recovery mode. Click OK, and then click Restore to restore the device.
    Note: Data will be lost. You may have to repeat the above many times.

  • I Ipad mini for showing photography work ?

    I was wondering if the ipad mini would be okay for showing off my photography work. I am just getting into photography, but would like a small item that would  be light enough to carry around and present some of my work at casual shops ect. I realize that the new regular size ipad has the new retina ...but seems too heavy for my purse.  Is there a huge difference in the photo qualilty between the two ipads and could I get by with just the mini or would it be the same as  displaying my pictures on an phone.  I also will mention that I have a 2011 Macbook pro 13 inch  without the retina....Perhaps I should just stick with that for diplaying pictures ...but then ...I usually don't have the macbook with me.  And one last thing ...I have ageing eyes when it comes to seeing small text.  but then again the mini would be used mostly for photos . Perhaps there are apps that would help my pictures look better on the ipad mini ?  Decisions Decisions !  Thanks everyone  

    Take a USB flash drive with some of your example pictures to the Apple Store. Have the sales person provide a camera connection kit to use on both the iPad Mini and iPad 4. I don't think you will see much difference in the pic quality.
    Flash Drive Setup - Plug the USB flash drive into your computer & create a new folder titled DCIM. Then put your movie/photo files into the folder. The files must have a filename with exactly 8 characters long (no spaces) plus the file extension (i.e., my-movie.mov; DSCN0164.jpg).
