my iphone 4s has upgrade to ios 8.1.1 and wifi can turn on but can not detect wifi. how to downgrade ios or back in to ios 6 again? i have try to restore iphone , reset all but it can't solve my problem. any one can help me?

You can't downgrade the iOS level.
Try using Settings > General > Reset > Reset Network Settings.

Did you fail to save them to your computer before updating?
If so, then you can try contacting itunes support and asking them to allow a redownload.

I lost my contacts too after upgrading. The numbers remained under recent calls and messages, but there was nothing in my contacts list. If you synced to the iCloud, you can retrieve your contacts by turning off syncing contacts to the cloud… save the (nonexistent) contacts on the phone. Then turn syncing to the cloud back on. It worked for me… they all returned and repopulated the names to the messages and recent calls.

Connect phone to computer.
Select Restore.
Tell iTunes which of the available backup files to use, let iTunes restore it.

Downloading past purchases from the App Store, iBookstore, and iTunes Store
For other music you need to get them from where you obtained them the originally.

May be you have turned the DO NO DISTURB in your iphone settings.
Check as below DND settings
Settings>>Do Not Disturb
If you are iPhone is on version iOS 5.X there was a bug which does not let the DO NOT DISTURB function properly.
SO, its better you to latest iOS version 7.0.4, no other versions of iOS are signed by APPLE hence forth.

my iphone 4s is not detecting wifi network and i tried by reseting the network settings....but it doesn't work...
please suggest me any other option...

Erase all contents and settings does not reinstall iOS.
If whatever the problem is applies to every wi-fi network the iPhone has access to, if no change after restoring the iPhone with iTunes as a new iPhone or not from the backup, the iPhone has a hardware problem.
