Cellular data is a feature from your phone carrier. Have you contacted them to resolve your issue.

You need to clarify what you are asking.
An iphoto installation has two major parts: 1. The application or program - that's the software and 2. The Library - that's where your actual pictures are.
So when you say:
I want to keep using the old Iphoto program on the new Imac. There is already an IPhoto program on the new Imac but I do not want to add or delete from that one.
It sounds like you want to move the application and not the Library. Most folks want to move the Library, and it makes no sense to have two versions of the application on your mac.

Launch PSE Expert Mode and go to:
Photoshop Elements Editor >> Preferences >> Saving Files (tab)
Set the drop-down dialog
On First Save : Save Over Current File
Click OK.
When you have finished editing in PSE use Cmd+S to save (not Save As)

Can I import photos from an old iPhoto library?

Can I import photos from an old iPhoto library on an external hard drive to my current iPhoto library? The icon on the hard drive appears greyed out when I try via Import.

Open the older library and export the Photos from it to the Finder (File -> Export) and switch to the new Library and import those.
Or, use iPhoto Library Manager to move the photos, plus all the versions and associated metadata to the new Library.

I wish there was an iOS forum, burt as it is you have iTunes + iOS 5.01 + iPhone + Mac Pro
Before contacts were duplicated along with photos (photo stream) and mixing contacts all under Apple ID. Apple ID + iTunes + iCloud are another hot issue.
I'd look really at the forum and support articles under iCloud, there again there is one for iOS devices, one for "on my (Mac/PC) and just iCloud Community.

Import Albums/Photos from iPad to iPhoto

Hi Everyone. My iMac hard drive crashed with iPhoto and all my saved photos. Luckily, they are ALL synced to my iPad and a copy is saved there.
How do I import all these saved albums & photos from iPad back into iPhoto? It does not give me this option automatically when I connected my iPad.

I lost photos from middle of iphoto library, no where to be found

So one day my wife is looking at the ipad and asks where some of her pregnancy photos are....I look and they are not there..!
the photos taken before the pregnancy are there.....The photos of the birth are there.....but not a select few in between.
I check everywhere.....EVERYWHERE, not on my time machine backup....which mysteriously seems to only go back 8 months....
not in my regular picture folder where i imported them from.
I use all the recovery options from permission recovery to a full rebuild of library.
I have no idea what happened to these photos. I was not doing anything, and have not done any iphoto clean up, I certainly did not delete them.
my ipads are synched to my MBP, I do not use any cloud services.
I am ready to accept that they are just simply gone, but want to check to see if there are any others out there who have had the same problem...NOT missing libraries, NOT corrupt librarys or bad upgrades.....just mysteriously missing albums.....

Apply the two fixes below in order as needed:
Fix #1
1 - launch iPhoto with the Command+Option keys held down and rebuild the library.
2 - run Option #1 to repair permissions and Option #4 to repair the database.

Using iPhoto Library Manager to Rebuild Your iPhoto Library
1 - download iPhoto Library Manager and launch.
2 - click on the Add Library button and select the library you want to add in the selection window..
3 - Now that the library is listed in the left hand pane of iPLM, click on your library and go to the Library âÅ¾™ Rebuild Library menu option.
4 - In the next window name the new library and select the location you want it to be placed.
5 - Click on the Create button.
Note: This creates a new library based on the LIbraryData.xml file in the library and will recover Events, Albums, keywords, titles and comments. However, books, calendars, cards and slideshows will be lost. The original library will be left untouched for further attempts at fixing the problem or in case the rebuilt library is not satisfactory.

How to use photos from a *shared iphoto library* in iWeb's Photos page

I have a large library of pictures in iPhoto. I am sharing it with my wife's Mac on our LAN. She would like to use many of these photos on my Mac in an iWeb page. We're both using 10.4.10 with G5s.
When we try to drag them over from my shared iPhoto library, we get the following error:
"Some items can't be used because you don't have enough access privileges or because they contain no content or they are corrupted.
unable to add object
unable to add object"
Sometimes it imports only the name of the picture to the iWeb page.
Is there a way around this? I tried messing with the Get Info "Permissions" section of my iPhoto folder. But nothing seemed to change.

And you must NEVER Import an iPhoto library - it does not work and creates a massive mess

IPhone has stopped syncing with Calendar

I have a Powerbook G4 running OS X v10.4.11 and have been syncing my iPhone with this computer since August 2008 without problems. When I updated to iTunes v9.0 last month the calendar stopped syncing but everything else sync’d as normal. Since then iTunes has upgraded again to v 9.0.1 (9) and my phone software was updated a couple of weeks ago to v3.1 but the calendar will still not sync.
I have been to the Apple Genius Bar in my local store and we tried everything they could think of including restoring the phone to factory settings and restoring the iPhone backup, that didn’t work and neither did setting it up as a new phone. They told me they are unable to resolve it. Has anyone any ideas please?

Did they have you try resetting the sync history on your Mac, which is done via iSync preferences with the iSync application located in your Applications folder?
If not, try this. After selecting reset sync history via iSync preferences, restart your Mac and test if this resolves it.
