My ipod classic is in recovery mode- if i restore it and eveything gets deleted, will i still be able to get all my music back from my old computer even though i recently started using itunes through my laptop?

i have an ipod classic and it's in recovery mode. I recently started a new itunes library on my laptop instead of the family computer, but managed to keep all my music. Now it's in recovery mode and it looks like I have no choice but to restore it to factory settings. If I do that, will I still be able to go back to my old computer and get all my albums back on my ipod? I would import my cds onto my laptop but unfortunately it doesn't take discs.

You have no choice but to restore from backup. See:
iOS: How to back up
The iPod backup that iTunes makes does not include synced media like apps and music. They have to be in the iTunes library before your restore from iTunes backup.
You can redownload iTunes purchases by:
Downloading past purchases from the App Store, iBookstore, and iTunes Store
