My ipod says it needs to be charged, i charge it it flashes white then the apple sign comes up, and it repeats every so seconds what's wrong with my iPod?!?!?! (its a 2nd generation i think)

I recently upgraded my Ipod touch 4th gen to ios 6 and I try to set up my wifi and it shows that its connected then the apple page comes up and it disconnects from my wifi.
Try the following:
- A reset. Nothing is lost
Reset iPod touch: Hold down the On/Off button and the Home button at the same time for at
least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.
- Reset network settings: Settings>General>Reset>Reset Network Settings
- Restore from backup

Hello, I am a student who is using MacBook Pro and iPod Touch 4G (32GB)
To jump to the topic, my liquid crystal of my iPod is broken. No, it's better to say, CRASHED.
I bought a new protecting film and case for my iPod, and i sticked and covered it.
Suddenly, the top left corner of my iPod just crashed. I was holding the player with my finger, and it just crashed.
So, what's wrong with my iPod? I'm pretty sure that it was not my fault. All I did was just holding the iPod with my two fingers and trying to fit the case.
Next, is there going to be any problem that will occur when I use this?
I am in China right now, and there are no Apple Store near the place I live. If I want to go, I have to drive there for 3-4 hours. I don't have that much time just fixing iPod. I am going back to Korea in July 2012. So, I'm thinking of just keeping my Pod in this condition until I go back to Korea. But, I'm not sure if there are going to be any problem while I am using this.
I hope the answer will come very quick, thank you.
p.s. I just started learning English, and my English is not that good...:p

There are independent iPod repair services that may be able to replace the screen for less. Do a web search for "ipod repair".
Note, though, that there is no liquid in an LCD that can leak. That's a myth.

My iPod will not charge at all it will when it's off it will power on and charge to a certain pint then will stop and no longer charge what is its problem I've tried 3 cords and three different outlets and also in my computer! hey please help!
i was using my ipad it was under 10% but no under 4% it turned off then i pluged the charger in and flashed on then showed apple sign after i turned it on. now its going back and forth from the apple sign and battery symbol ive changed chargers its made no differnce its been like 3 hours ive tried to do that reset thing holding lock button and home button for 10 seconds at the same time. WHAT DO I DO?Could be the charger, cable or iPad. Plug the USB cable into your computer. It may say "Not Charging", however, it is charging slowly and will verify that the cable is good.
Try this first - Reset the iPad by holding down on the Sleep and Home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider - let go of the buttons. (This is equivalent to rebooting your computer.)
The quickest way (and really the only way) to charge your iPad is with the included 10W or 12W (5W on Mini) USB Power Adapter. iPad will also charge, although more slowly, when attached to a computer with a high-power USB port (many recent Mac computers) or with an iPhone Power Adapter (5W). When attached to a computer via a standard USB port (2.5W, most PCs or older Mac computers) iPad will charge very slowly (but iPad indicates not charging). Make sure your computer is on while charging iPad via USB. If iPad is connected to a computer that’s turned off or is in sleep or standby mode, the iPad battery will continue to drain.
Apple recommends that once a month you let the iPad fully discharge & then recharge to 100%.

My ipod froze so I restarted it, but then it happened again, so I restarted it again, and it was fine but then it ran out of battery. Now when I plug it into the charger it, the Apple sign comes up for 5 seconds then disappears, it doesn't turn on or come up with the charging sign. Is it not going to work again, or is ther something I can do? Please help.
I have the same problem, and my Ipod turned off (when I held the home and power button)
but then when I held down the home button (after turned off) nothing happened, the screen is still black.

I put my ipod to charge and the apple sign showed up and everyhting. It kept turning on and then off, and after it did that many times it showed the low battery sign. My iPod did this many times and it didnt go to my lock screen. So after waiting for it to charge (it was connected to my computer) it didn't and then i went to go to check on it and there was a wierd sign. The sign was like the cable sign and and arrow pointing up to the iTunes sign and iTunes written under it. I have no idead what this meant but everytime I plug my iPod into my computer, iTunes shows up. I plugged it into my brother's xbox but the sign was still there. I've dropped my iPod a few times, only once in the toilet but I took it out right away (please let me know if that's the reason why.) I'm not sure what this means and I'm not sure if it's happened to anyone else, but please, please help.

Can anyone help me identify what is wrong with my iPod? One day I tried to unlock it, and nothing happened. The screen is semi frozen, i can still use the screen home button (my original home button is broken) but i cant unlock it or turn it off. What's wrong with my iPod's Cover Flow??
I have an iPod Touch 3rd Gen, 32Gb, and recently updated to IOS 5.
Since then, the iPod's cover flow feature is extremely slow, doesn't flow smoothly, and crashes after a few (15-20) seconds.
Today I noted something else: some album covers appear pixelated and blurry, even though HD. Those covers looked just fine until now.
As a side note, I have in use 30 of the 32 Gb (that's a lot of music, I know). Could this be related? I never had those problems before IOS 5, though.
