I do not fully understand your question. If the iPod is saying that you do not have enough storage space available to download/install an app remember that to download and install an app your iPod must have up to three times the file download size available..

I recently charged/synched my 160 GB ipod classic - I may have disconnected it before it was ready. Now the ipod says there is not music/playlists on the ipod - when I had used up over half the space previously. I think the music is still on the ipod because it indicated something listed as "other" is taking up the same space the music used to take up. Other is corrupt files, probably caused when you disconnected. Connect the iPod to iTunes and use the Restore button on the Device/Summary pane. This will remove everything and then re-load the iPod with the contents of your Library.

Hi, im having trouble with my iPod 4th generation. I connect my USB into the right hole and my computer accepts it at first to start looking for photos and videos then, a message comes up saying there are no photos and videos on my iPod. I am connected to the computer with my phone and it says there are 0 photos to import, however I have over 200 on my phone to import. I am trying to figure out how to get itunes to recognize the photos on my phone. This has never happened before.
Have you tried to reset the iPhone and tried again to import?

First, try a system reset. It cures many ills and it's quick, easy and harmless...
Hold down the on/off switch and the Home button simultaneously until the screen blacks out or you see the Apple logo. Ignore the "Slide to power off" text if it appears. You will not lose any apps, data, music, movies, settings, etc.
If the Reset doesn't work, try a Restore. Note that it's nowhere near as quick as a Reset. Connect via cable to the computer that you use for sync. From iTunes, select the iPad/iPod and then select the Summary tab. Follow directions for Restore and be sure to say "yes" to the backup. You will be warned that all data (apps, music, movies, etc.) will be erased but, as the Restore finishes, you will be asked if you wish the contents of the backup to be copied to the iPad/iPod. Again, say "yes." -

A number of people have reported similar issues recently, many appear to have found a discrepancy of some kind in their account settings and making changes to these settings or simply resetting them has resolved the matter.
Check your account details are correct, check that you are using the correct details for Location, Region and Time Zone. You may want to change these settings and then change them back to see if that helps.
You might also try logging out of and then back into your iTunes account (Settings > iTunes Store > Apple ID’s > Sign Out) and restarting your router. (Some have reported that after doing this, they need to check for rentals even though it may report that there aren’t any, after which rentals once again appear in the ‘movies’ feature) -

Why when i'm trying to download my iphone photos to computer is it saying there are no photos or videos on this device when I have many on the phone.
Because it says it's incompatible when it can't be, I got hope. I get error messages all the time with my iPod and iPhone that it cannot sync and that 'this device is not capapble of connecting to iTunes' stuff. I literally forget that happened, plug it in again and it works, I later realize that iTunes made a mistake, they do that.

The message does not indicate that there is an issue with the iPod but that iTunes was unable to read the firmware file it uses to restore or update your iPod. You can delete the folder containing the firmware files so iTunes can download a useable (non-corrupted) version.
Here are the steps to take if you get this message:
Eject iPod and quit iTunes.
Use Disk Utility in Mac OS X or run chkdsk in Windows to verify there are no other issues on your hard drive.
Locate the iPod Software Updates folder:
In Mac OS X, the folder is
~/Library/iTunes/iPod Software Updates (~ represents your home directory)
In Windows, the folder is
C:\Documents and Settings\yourusername\Application Data\Apple Computer\iTunes\iPod Software Updates
Note: If you don't see the files in Windows, turn on the Show hidden files option.
Open My Computer.
From the Tools menu, choose Folder Options.
Click the View tab.
In the Advanced Settings pane, select the "Show hidden files and folders" button.
Click OK.
Drag the iPod Software Updates folder to the Trash or Recycle Bin.
Connect iPod and open iTunes. You will need to be connected to the Internet to download the files. -

Just to be clear: Tap on the Photos app to start the app. Then tap on Albums at the bottom of the screen. You might have several albums but only one is named "Camera Roll." Are there photos in that album?
If there are NO photos in the Camera Roll album there are no pictures to import. The remaining albums might have come from a sync with your computer or they might be your PhotoStream.
If there ARE photos in the Camera Roll album, connect your iPhone to your computer and start your camera application on the computer. Your phone should be recognized as a camera. -
I am trying to upgrade EPM 8.9(8.49.23) to EPM 9.1 (8.53.08). During dataconversion step the AE process finished succssfully in few seconds. yes, that app engine didnt inserted any rows. So now when i tried to drill down i found that there was no data in the "new demo" database on table UPG_DATACONV. That is the reason for all this.
When i applied required for upgrade patch in demo it said couple of patch already exists so those update i skipped. Now when i check upd877654 has a step which imports the data in this table. my change assistant told that the update is already available in my demo so i skipped. Now i am not sure what to do.

Dr. Harris, BermudaTo move from iPhoto 08 (which is v7) to iPhoto 11 (which is v9) requires that you purchase iPhoto 11. Your software update is running just fine. V7.1.5 is last version of iPhoto 08.
Never import one Library to another. Every version and thumbnail is imported like a distinct photo, you lose all your Albums, Keywords etc., the link between Original and Previews is destroyed, the non-destructive editing feature is ruined and so on. In summary: it's mess.
As to the problematic library:
Try these in order - from best option on down...
1. Do you have an up-to-date back up? If so, try copy the library6.iphoto file from the back up to the iPhoto Library (Right Click -> Show Package Contents) allowing it to overwrite the damaged file.
2. Download <a href="http://www.fatcatsoftware.com/iplm/"><b><u>iPhoto Library Manager</b></u></a> and use its rebuild function. This will create a new library based on data in the albumdata.xml file. Not everything will be brought over - no slideshows, books or calendars, for instance - but it should get all your albums and keywords back.
Because this process creates an entirely new library and leaves your old one untouched, it is non-destructive, and if you're not happy with the results you can simply return to your old one.
3. If neither of these work then you'll need to create and populate a new library.
To create and populate a new *iPhoto 08* library:
Note this will give you a working library with the same Events and pictures as before, however, you will lose your albums, keywords, modified versions, books, calendars etc.
In the iPhoto Preferences -> Events Uncheck the box at 'Imported Items from the Finder'
Move the iPhoto Library to the desktop
Launch iPhoto. It will ask if you wish to create a new Library. Say Yes.
Go into the iPhoto Library (Right Click -> Show Package Contents) on your desktop and find the Originals folder. From the Originals folder drag the individual Event Folders to the iPhoto Window and it will recreate them in the new library.
When you're sure all is well you can delete the iPhoto Library on your desktop.
In the future, in addition to your usual back up routine, you might like to make a copy of the library6.iPhoto file whenever you have made changes to the library as protection against database corruption.
