My Verizon Login

I forgot login information for Verizon Wireless and requested a reset.  I was sent a temporary password, via text message to my phone, and then changed the password online (via my laptop).
Now I keep getting a  promt on my Bionic to enter the temporary password, but I've already used it to change on my laptop.  I can't get past it.
Anyone have an idea of how to get past this prompt?  I've already tried to uninstall and clear application data for "My Verizon" on the Boinic.
thanks

I needed to reinstall verizon login. Go to market, find it and there is a message saying it is not compatable with my device. It shows it being installed on my nexus earlier but now it isn't compatable. ????????

The one that was installed was a special one for the Galaxy Nexus.

  • Verizon Login wont work with 4.0.4

So they still are not ready to wide release
So when you see a new version of Verizon Login you know an upgrade is round the corner for us.

It is the other way actually. It is not uncommon for the Roboform toolbar to need to be updated for every new Major release however thankfully they do not do the need to update toolbar for every little minor update patch like they did in past and drove Rf users nuts.
Actually the Roboform extension should work on Firefox 4.0 if you have the recent version though it is not problems free.

  • How to see recent My Verizon login activity?

    Hello,
Is there a way to view a log of all the times that I have logged in to My Verizon to check usage? Say, for example, if logged in yesterday at 11:00 PM to check my recent texting activity, is this captured somewhere (hopefully on My Verizon) so that I can see that I checked in at 11? I called in to customer service, and the gentleman told me that he couldn't check from his end.
    Thank you in advance,
    Jason

        Hi sacramentjay!
I'm glad to see that you're keeping track of your usage! Being on the right plan can make a world of difference on your bill. However, the answer to your question is no. There is no log to check so you can see the last time you accessed My Verizon to check your usage. You do have the option to check the internet history on the PC to see when the vzw.com site was accessed. The information would not, however, be available in the My Verizon application on the device.
I hope this helps, and I'm sorry it wasn't the answer you wanted.
    Enjoy your day!

  • Is there anyway to login to get your secondary email?

For some reason you all made a change and I had to update my verizon login from rpenman65 to russpenman. Now I can't get into webmail to view my {edited for privacy} email which is my major email I use. How do I login now if I can only login using russpenman which defaults to {edited for privacy} which I will not and don't use??

  • Watch ABC app can't connect to Verizon on iPad

I have been trying to use the Watch ABC app on my ipad since Monday when the change occurred that you need to sign in for recent episodes.  I'm a current Verizon FIOS subscriber for internet and tv. This is the message that I get.  I have checked my user information and login through the FIOS mobile app and everything works there, but I get this error when I open the app.
"A sign in error occurred: Please contact us if you need further assistance."
Other forums have suggested this is a Verizon login issue.  Anyone else having the same problem with the ipad.  It works fine on my android phone.

I reluctantly entered the requested Verizon user name and password credentials after the reading the release notes on the Watch ABC application update and checking domain name owners, successfully gained access to the watch ABC content, and then received an email from Verizon-services warning me about "Phishing" attempts.
A better approach than providing user name and password to a third party application is needed to validate that a Verizon TV customer has the right to view ABC content on line.
When you sign into this app (just like other apps requiring FiOS subscription verification such as HBOGo, CNN, etc.) you are actually connecting to a Verizon server for the authentication process, and the app does not know your credentials -- you are not proividing the app with your user name and password but are using a pass through authentication process.   The app simply uses the authorization provided by Verizon.  This is standard industry practice.

  • Registering for my verizon, prepaid

I just had my Verizon post paid account switched to Verizon prepaid a couple weeks ago.  I can login to my verizon with my post paid login and see a message that says my account was disconnected.  When I try to sign up, from different browsers and computers, for a new my verizon login it always takes me to a page that says:
    We apologize for any inconvenience
We experienced an error while processing your request. Please try again later.
I'd like to manage my prepaid account online but it won't let me.  I assume I need to create an account because when I type in my phone number it says there is no my verizon account for that number and I need to register. I'm able to get into the My Verizon app on the phone but I can't add extra data from it if I need it.  Is there anything I can do to get this set up?

Sorry about all the trouble you're experiencing with My Verizon, nodnarb3210. We should be able to get this cleared up quickly by simply un-registerring your original My Verizon account from our system. I have sent you a follow request here in the forum. Please access https://community.verizonwireless.com/actions to accept my request and follow me https://community.verizonwireless.com/people/jenniferh_vzw back so you can send me a private message https://community.verizonwireless.com/docs/DOC-1613 with your name so we can begin the process.

  • My Verizon Profige-Sign In

My Samsung Charge is now showing a sign in page many times a day by itself.  It asks for my username and password.  When I hit the back button instead of signing in, it disappears, only to return a short time later. How can I make this message stop showing up on my phone? And how did it get there to start with?  Under Settings and Applications, it shows a box with SSO and My Verizon Profile running, and also a Verizon SSO Engine that is running.  Is there a way to turn this off, and what are these applications? Thanks.

WyNetter, I can certainly explain the need for this username and password. You need a My Verizon Profile (SSO or Signal Sign On) account to access certain Verizon Wireless applications (My Verizon, Mobile IM, Video On Demand, Music On Demand, V CAST Media Manager, etc. from your 4G LTE phone. If you login once with your My Verizon login, then this prompt will stop appearing.
Let me know if you need further assistance.

  • How do I move vznavigator favorites from one phone to another?

how do I move vznavigator favorites from one phone to another?
Wife has Pre 2 where GPS works beautiful... my old Pre Plus was always hit or miss on GPS.
But I've developed quite a library of favorites on my Plus.  How do I move these to our new Pre 2?

    Good afternoon CWFlink.
I am a fan of the VZ Navigator myself, and all of the great features of this application!  Is the Palm Pre 2 on the same number as the Palm Pre Plus?  If yes, you can synchronize your Favorites through our website at the following link: VZ Navigator
You will sign in using your My Verizon login information, and sync the Settings and Favorites to your new device.  However, if your Favorites are on a different mobile number, you will have to manually enter in the information/ settings.  I still encourage you to use the website to set everything up as you like, in case you need to change devices in the future.
I trust this information is helpful.

  • How do I move photos transferred from another phone to photo stream?

I transferred photos from my old phone when I got my iPhone.  How do I transfer those photos to the photo stream?  Incidently, I discovered by accident that I could do so by using the Weather Channel app.  You can set a backround photo from the camera roll.  If you end up replacing that photo for another, bam the replaced photo goes into the photo stream.  I was just wondering if there was an easier way...

  • Upgrade eligibility extended after old device transfer to another family member

In July 2013, I transferred an almost 2 year old device from one family member to another(a son). The eligibility for upgrade at a discount on his account line was then extended by a year following the old device transfer to his account line even though the device was not new, to him or to our account.  I do not understand how or why this happened.  I also don't know if I am asking this question in the correct place to get a response and corrective action from Verizon Wireless.  The link to email customer support on the My Verizon login site has apparently been removed.  Thank you for any assistance or help you may provide.

You've come to the right place, MMBrown26. I'm confident that I can help you. I will need to take a look at your account. Please follow me (ChaunceyM_VZW) and send me Direct Message. If you include your wireless number, I will review your account and contact you. Thanks in advance.

  • Using two routers for the same SSID

So here's my story. I have a standard Actiontec router in my basment, connected straight to the coax outlet, and connected by LAN Ethernet to a crappy computer nobody uses. It gives off a WPA2 wifi network, let's call it MyNetwork. For the longest time it's been the only router in the house. The coax outlet is on a splitter, splitting the coax outlet into one wire that goes to the Actiontec modem/router and the other to my TV STB. Recently we installed a new coax outlet on the other side of my house and next to it we have a brand new desktop computer that we use often. It has no wifi so and we can't run an ethernet cable throughout the entire house so we got a new Actiontec modem/router from our neighbor who just moved out. It's the exact same Actiontec device.
What we want to do is make it so that both routers give off signal on the same MyNetwork we have to make it a wider reaching signal, and so that I can connect the new desktop computer to the new router with an ethernet cable. I've read so many guides and they're all so confusing and it's such a mess that I almost completely screwed over my network. it seems like the two routers are completely independent of one another, not even aware of the others' existence. The new router is definitely in range of the old one. I've logged into 192.168.1.1 on the new computer and the new router seems to think it IS the old router (or so I think). It showed me all the same devices that have connected to MyNetwork and such, but then again it's always hard to be certain exactly which device is which. After messing around I must have changed some IP address or something, but it seems that 192.168.1.1 doesn't take me to the Verizon login screen, but 192.168.2.1 does. Can I reset those IP addresses?
And of course, can somone please provide a clean, easy to follow course of action as to how to set up two routers on one network?

I suspect it might be a good idea to step back reconsider your ultimate layout.  Essentially you now have two (or if the STB is also included, three) coax drops connected to the ONT.  It seems that you desire that one of these service the STB, and the other two each service a desktop and a wireless access point.  If this is the case, continue reading.
There is no need to consider the original Actiontec router as the primary router, wireless or otherwise.  Use the new coax location to connect to the primary Actiontec router (you can use either router).  For starters, reset both routers to their factory defaults using the reset switch on the back of each device (for details, do a search).
Once the primary router has been located (or relocated) to the new coax drop, just connect the new desktop there using an Ethernet cable connected to one of the LAN ports on the back of the router.  Then set up your primary wireless network based on this router (once again, do a search on these forums for specifics on setting up a basic wireless home network).
Now use the original coax outlet where the first router was located to set up another access point.  This access point will provide Ethernet connections plus an additional wireless network (if it's still needed).  However you cannot have two wireless devices on a single home network with the same SSID (i.e., network name).  Here are details on some methods to do this:

  • Myvz50

I just received a phone message from 800-000-0000 that said i was selected to receive a 50.00 credit on my bill and to go to myvz50.com and sign in to my account?
Is this phishing scam or is it real? Does anyone know?
    Thanks for the help

Thank you all for you help! I appreciate the time you take to help each other out!
    @Forever2009,
As your fellow community members have advised this sounds like a phishing scam and I suggest you ignor and not sign in at the website they are providing. This is a form to get your My Verizon login information.
Please keep in mind that any promotions offered by VZW would never have you login to a non VZW website.

  • Can't add account manager

I've recently returned to Verizon after a disastrous and short lived relationship with Sprint. My wife and I had to terminate our contract with them because of several issues and because she was the one that cracked first, she was the one that got to call and scream at them. Since I was the account owner and she was halfway across the state at the time there was a great deal of confusion over trying to get her access to the account so she could even discuss the problems we were having, let alone try to make changes to the account (which ended in our leaving their service). I am again the account owner for Verizon and I was quite thrilled to see that I could designate account managers on My Verizon, which would prevent such difficulties in the future. A couple days after getting the account started went to do just that online.
I changed the billing password with no problems, but when I try to complete the process of designating her as a manager I get an error message saying that I cannot do that online and I should call customer service. Not 'You cannot do that online at this time' or 'That service is currently unavailable online' but a straight up 'You just cannot do that online.' I get as far as putting in her name, number, and address, and when I hit continue - error message. I've tried three times in the last two days, with the same result each time. Sure, I could call customer service or go to a store, but isn't enabling it as a function within My Verizon supposed to make it easier? I've even gotten a welcome email promoting it as one of the things I should do to set up my new account, along with things like setting up alerts for data usage and paperless billing.
I don't like calling customer service for cell service providers because I have never had a good experience with any company in doing so, and going to the Verizon store is always at least an hour visit while I wait for the two people ahead of me to finish their business. I love the convenience of managing my account online, but if you're going to promote that I do so, maybe you should actually make it so I can, rather than have me chase my tail trying.

That's great that you need to be with Verizon for 30 days before it becomes available. I have been with Verizon for several years. I am trying to setup account managers in my Verizon, I have a request pending from an account member to the account owner to become an account manager. Every time I, as the account owner, click accept on the request, I get the same error message. "Assign Account Managers
This option is temporarily unavailable in My Verizon. Please contact Customer Service at (800) 922-0204 if you'd like to add, change or remove Account Managers.
    We apologize for the inconvenience."
This same error message has been showing for months. The last rep I spoke with de registered all of my my Verizon login accounts so that they can be re registered. How do I get my lines setup as an account manager?
