Name 2 field column in Payment proposal
Hi
How can we include 'Name 2' field column in the payment proposal. Since this field is not in the hidden fields when I am trying to change the screen layout.

Record of the user name that created a payment proposal (F110)
Hello,
I would appriciate your help with a question I have regarding the payment proposal process (F110).
I am trying to find where the system keeps a record of the user name that created the payment proposal.
I saw this field only in the table REGUA (Change of payment proposals: user and time),
but I didn't see it for regular payment proposals (not in REGUH and REGUP).
In general, My goal is to be able to check that the user who is creating the payment run is different from the user who created the payment proposal.

in the heading line 'ob log overview for job' you can see the job name.
say 'F110-20110104-FR4NA -X'
if it is F110-20110104-FR4NA -X / 05170400, you have to take the part before the slash that is F110-20110104-FR4NA -X
Go to SM37, enter this in the job name. Enter * in the user id. Enter the date , on which payement run was done.
Then execute. YOu will see, who has run the proposal or payement run in the resulting screen. -
Partner bank type field missing in payment proposal list
Hi Gurus,
The partner bank type field is not being displayed in payment proposal list whereas I can display the same in vendor line item display. Though there is a field named BnkT in the proposal list the partner bank type is not displayed. Kindly advice me in this regard.

Please note the system selects the bank with the lowest BVTYP.
This means that a bank which has no BVTYP will be selected first,
then one with AAAA, then BBBB. This is the reason why the partner
bank which you expected was not chosen.
Please read the F1 help for this field which explains the main purpos

In the business partner's master record:
If several bank accounts exist in a customer or vendor master
record, you can assign different keys for these accounts.
In the item:
To use a particular bank of the business partner for the payment
an item, enter the appropriate key in the item. The payment prog
then pays the item via the business partner's predefined bank.
Here you can enter, for example a number, 0001.
Then, when you post a document with the transaction FB01 or F-42, you
can display the field 'Partner bank type' (BSEG-BVTYP). Here you can
write the number 0001 or another number for another bank of the same
vendor. Afterwards, you can post this document.
Also, you can use Business Transaction Event (Open-FI) 00001810 to
implement your own algorithm to select a bank. For details, see the
documentation of the sample function module SAMPLE_PROCESS_00001810.

Automatic Payment Program -Display of Payment Proposal
Dear Gurus,
My client has maintained a industry field for all the vendor in their Master Data.The Reason for that when they run the APP they just select the industry in the free selection field.And the payment prosopal should be specific to Industry wise.
But my problem is that when the payment proposal is display their is no field for industry ,and because of that its difficult for me to segregate the payment proposal as per Industry wise.
for Example
0001 is for Chemical Industry
0002 is for Construction Industry
And when i run the Payment program system will give for these 2 industry wise payment proposal.But how should i differentiate between industry 0001 & industry 0002.Because there is no field in the payment proposal window through which i can differentiate between these 2 industry payment.
I thing i have myself clear regarding the requirement.

In standard SAP it is not possible to add the field Assignment (ZUONR) for displaying it in Payment Proposal.
I think the only option is to develop a ABAP program, but this will unnecessarily make things complex in APP.

My question is about physical joins in Oracle BI EE.
Task is:
In a relational fact table "star" there is two columns Entity 1, Entity 2 and a table dimension Entity witch have two filds: ID and NAME. By loadind data fact table is filled with id for Entity 1 and Entity 2.
In a report made in Answers i need to show ID_Entity_1 NAME_Entity_1 ID_Entity_2 NAME_Entity_2
Question is: how to do physical join between two columns fact table and one dimension table entity so, that i can show name field in a report for both columns Entity 1, Entity 2.You must Create an alias in the physical layer of your table dimEnsion and use it as a second dimension table.

First, Last name fields in Numbers -- Three columns on iWeb page
I'm new to this (both Numbers and iWeb) and I'm trying to help someone with their page (it's for a local candidate). They have an excel spreadsheet with names and a bunch of other stuff. they want to put the list of first and last names on their "supporters" webpage, separated by a space, without having to do it manually -- at this point about 900 such names.
I can get the names out of Excel and into Numbers, obviously. And I think I know how to get the list into iWeb, if I can generate it (using an iWeb snippet, which I'd also love help with if anyone here knows THAT as well).
What I can't seem to do is create a list, in three columns, with First name (single space) last name. Whatever I put in the formula bar seems not to do anything. And I haven't even BEGUN to figure out how to generate the three-column list.

I think it's the "three column specification that's throwing me. You might need to clarify that.
The names are currently entered with First names in one column and Last names in the adjacent column. Here's a way to combine the first and last names into a "full name".
In the "Full" column, the formula is:
=B&" "&C
In Last, First, the formula is:
=C2&", "&B
To list the names in a three column table in iWeb, you may need to start with a three column table in Numbers. This one pulls the names from column D (Full) of the table above, and distributes them into three columns. The original table has had four names added, and has been sorted.
Note that the original table has been named "Data".
The Data table contains the formula(s) shown above.
The second table, "Aux", calculates the number of cells needed in each of the three columns so that no column is more than one cell longer than the shortest. Doing this calculation in an auxiliary table greatly simplifies the formulas needed in the final table.
This table contains a single formula, entered in B2, and filled right to D2. Note that A2 is referenced in the formulas in the final table, "3 Columns". A2 may be empty, contain text, or contain the number zero.
B2 (and fill right): =QUOTIENT(COUNTA(Data :: $C),3)+IF(MOD(COUNTA(Data :: $C),3)>COLUMN()-2,1,0)
The third table, "3 Columns" displays the names in three columns.
It contains a single formula, placed in A1 and filled right to column C and down to row 10.
3 Columns::A1 (and fill right and down): =IF(ROW()<=Aux::B$2,OFFSET(Data :: $A$1,SUM(Aux::$A$2:A$2,ROW()),3),"")

In our system designation, all the payment business will work throught auto payment F110. and our cash flow report base on payment reason code. now the issue is that I cannot manually enter the reason code by modifying payment proposal. does anyone know the solution? actually as well as the fund center and fund we also want to enter in the proposal.

If I understand you correctly, you are intending to enter the documents based on the selection criteria.
You have two options (Inclusions and exclusions)
In F110, you can go to tab "FREE SELECTION"
Drop down on the field name
Selection "Document" Radio button
Reason Code - BSEG-RSTGR
Funds Center - BSEG-FISTL
Fund - BSEG-GEBER

As requested I have done the settings.
I have posted 2 invoices with SG$ in FB60 for a particular vendor. But I was not able to pay those documents in F110.
In F110, I have entered the parameters like co code, payment method, next payment dt, vendor a/c.
Selected the Field name as Currency in the free selection,
Checked the box for Pmnt methos selection if not successful
and gave vendor account in additional log.
The payment proposal has been created. I have gone to check the Proposal list but getting no records selected for the variant given.
When I tried to click Display proposal button I am getting below error.
"Company codes 2300 do not appear in proposal 18.03.2008 TEST; correct"
Is there anything missing data or settings? Kindly check and let me know.

we are testing in development phase, Payment proposal is picking up different payment methods even we entered only one payment method in the parameters.
This should not be selected like this as per the business... process.
Please let me know how to avoid this.

MeenakshiEven though it will pick up the items from other payment methods. It will not pay, those items will be in the exception list. You can exclude these items though by going to 'Free Selection' tab during Parameters creation, and select the field name 'Payment method' , check box 'exclude value' and in the 'values' field enter the payment methods you want to exclude (One payment method in one row). You can exclude 6 payment methods this way.

PAYMENT PROPOSAL COULD NOT BE CARRIED OUT
I did payment run program for one vendor F110 i have 3 invoice. within this invoice one invoice i did payment block at the time of payment proposal in F110 , the remaining two i cleared and i got all result after some days according to the next payment run date i am trying to do payment run F110, At the time schedule proposal the error system showing "PAYMENT PROPOSAL COULD NOT BE CARRIED OUT". Now i need clear that invoice wht i do through F110.....

I want to get the Oracle supported Public API/Interface name to import the payment information against invoices(because there is a need to importing payment data against closed invoices from 11.5.5 to R12). Since I am not getting any standard oracle supported method, I am using the API AP_PAY_INVOICE_PKG.AP_PAY_INVOICE but while running it I am getting the following error:-

Short version:
When viewing ".mp3" files in a "Tags" window, the information in the "name" column next to the file defaults to the information in the "song" field in the file's ID3 tag.
Is it possible to change have the "name" column display the actual FILE NAME instead?
I did some research and found nothing.
Long version
Let's say I have a ".mp3" file named "Todd Rundgren - Hello It's Me.mp3"
When I open the folder this ".mp3" is in and find the file, the "name" column will read "Todd Rundgren - Hello It's Me.mp3" (of course)
Now, I tag the file "jams"
Now I go to my "jams" tag view everything tagged "jams", the "name" column in that window DOES NOT say
"Todd Rundgren - Hello It's Me.mp3" , but instead just "Hello It's Me"
The finder seems to be pulling this information from the "name" field of the ".mp3" ID3 tag metadata (aka, the information that would be written in the "name" column when viewing the file in iTunes.)
Ok, that's fine Mavericks, but I want to see the ACTUAL FILE NAME of my ".mp3", (which "tags" windows seems to do for most other things [documents, folders])
Q: Is it possible to display the filename of a ".mp3" file when viewing a "tag window?"
Tags are super useful, but this inconsistency makes it inefficient, distracting, and confusing to move freely between the window for a given "tag", and a normal "finder" window.

I think you have to avoid editing inside the tags list with the 'metadata names'. Instead right click an item, select 'Open enclosing folder'.
In 'real folders' you can enable the 'Title' in column via the 'Veiw Menu > show columns', that way you can see the file name & ID3/ EXIF titles.
'Fake folders' (smart searches & the recent tags list) don't feel finished yet IMO.
