I cannot find any discussion forums on Forte C except here. Where can I get help?
Is there any site has some example codes for Forte C/C++?

If you have Forte C and C++ compiler installed
on your system then, check the directory
path for tutorial or examples.
eg: I have installed C and I can find tutorial
directory as:
/opt/WS6.0_U1/SUNWspro/WS6U1/src/examples/tutorial
Read the README file for instruction.
You can select Training and Tutorial from http://forum.sun.com.
You can also go to http://docs.sun.com and look at
C and C++ User's Guide.
You can also by the genal purpose programming books on C and C++ that has plenty of examples for each concept of the language.
Lastly, if you are interested in a example on a specific featute, just post that on this forum and we
should be able to direct you accordingly.

    LOB->read can simply be used in a loop. You may be able to print each chunk inside the loop and use http://www.php.net/manual/en/function.flush.php but there are plenty of caveats noted in the flush() documentation
    The documentation for LOB->flush is unfortunately ambiguous. "Server" refers to flushing data from PHP to the DB server, not to the web server.
    Make sure you bind $id (and also filter your input from $GET): otherwise you have a SQL Injection security problem. Not to mention a scalability issue.

  • I need a code example for an action listener for a jcheckbox using matisse

    I am trying to make it so that when some body clicks a jcheckbox it will put a figure into a jtextfield. Because I am using matisse I need to know the code for the action listener and I need to know quickly as well so I don't have time to look it up with searches etc.
    Can anbody provide me with some example code please.

    I thought that as you are all more experienced than I am that you would know where to look and as you would have already been to all of the sites you would have been able to save me a lot of time looking for the best one. I didn't mean to insult you sorry, I knew that I would be looking for a long time and hoped that some one could help speed that up for me.

    were people can just drop in and post example code of what ever they like. then instead of asking question's over and over their would be a wealth of code snipets in one place.
    then again it might not be such a good idea.

    there would have to be someone or a group of people that check the code to keep it clean, and good java, so it might get a bit boggy and hard to maintain...
    but a good subject, although i still think that there is sufficient examplecode to find.
    You will practically never find exactely what you need online somewhere cause no application has the same possibilities, features...
    dunno my 2 cents...

  • Question on the example code 8253eventcount.c

    Hi.
    I saw the example code 8253eventcount.c before in the NI-DAQ6.9.x. That is very useful.But i still confuse that "Do i need to set up each clock pulse duration?". From the program, it seems that the counting process solely depends on the function NIDAQDelay(sec).....
    By the way, if i am now using an old version of NI-DAQ6.8.5, How can i update some calculated voltages for each 1ms. Although i have read and followed the procedures in the user mannual of lab-pc+,but, i am still not sure how to program the counterA2 with appropriate update interval. Could anyone give me an example code? It seems that no examples are given in the version of NI-DAQ6.8.5.
    I am now using lab-pc+ with Ni-daq6.8.5 by using c++ and win
    dows95 as my working platform.Please help me in anyway! Thanks!

    The NIDAQDelay() is only in there to control how often the program checks the current count on the counter. If it is set to 1 seconds, it will read the counter every one second and return how many counts have been read since the start. If you take that function out, the program will check the counter as fast as it can which will tie up your CPU.
    As to your question about calculated voltages, can you be more specific as to what your application is and what you are trying to do, I'm a little confused.

    RV_INVOICE_CREATE is the function module to create invoice based on delivery .
    when you pass delivery number ,it will create invoice ,see the invoice number in vf02,vf03 transaction. and also see the data vbrk,vbrp tables

    Hi,
    it_wbs_prps1 .
    If you are going to use this internal table to check for a null condition, shouldn't you first assign the data package to it?
    For example,   it_wbs_prps1 = i_t_data[].
    Because you are now using  it_wbs_prps1 to select data from a table and it doesn't have any data.
    Please check.

    1-There should be a number of buttons for choosing different shapes to draw. For example, there should be a button for rectangle. If user presses the rectangle button, then he can draw a rectangle using mouse. Similarly, there should be a button for each shape(rectangle, circle, ellipse, and line etc.
    2-The shapes can be filled with different colors.
    3-There should be option of moving .
    4- There should also be three menus including File, Shape, and Color menu.
    i. File menu can have menu items New and Exit. If user selects New, the drawing area will be cleared and all shapes will be erased.
    ii. Shape menu will serve the same purpose as of feature 2 described above. It will have menu items for drawing all the different shapes. For example, there will be menu item for rectangle; so user can draw a rectangle by selecting the menu item for rectangle.
    iii. Color menu will serve the same purpose as of feature 3 described above. It will have menu items for all the colors which are shown in color buttons. The user can select a color from this menu and then click inside a shape to fill it with the selected color.

    Read the Swing tutorial. There are sections on how to use menus and painting and all other kinds of stuff you need to do this homework assignment. Nobody here is going to write the code for you:

    Your code looks good to me. What is the problem? What happens when it fails? What is the IBSTA value on the controller, and at what point in the code does it stop? What is the IBSTA value on the slave, and at what point does it stop?
    One thing is that you might not want to call IBCLR() in a loop on the device. At the beginning of the program is fine...This will send a clear command to the device and will clear out any LACS and TACS bits that might be set. Also your IBDEV call shouldn't be in a loop.

    I found a good website a while back which showed step by step how to connect to a sql server DB using JDBC, a re-install of windows means I cant find it again. I have searched the web, but to no avail. Basically I need to find a step by step guide to using java to access data within MS SQL server 2000. It needs to include details about where to download suitable drivers etc. and example code so that I can originally test my connection before diving much deeper.
    Any help much appreciated.
