Need Examples for asm in sun c compiler

I am having problem with writting inline assembly level language using asm in sun c compiler. I needed few examples like passing variables to inline asm and getting result from the passed varriable. This is somthing like gnuc asm ( Here we have four argument, we can get the result from the argument what we passed)

The asm() syntax is not well supported by our compiler.
The preferred way of doing this is using .il templates to inline assembly
code.

  • I need example for VARIABLES with Customer Exit.

    hi every body i need example for Variable for Customer Exit.

    Hi,
    You can define 'Formula' variables in your customer exit..for example..
    you need to calculate no of machine running hours per month, in order to
    caculate the machine total utilization time..in this context.. you need to know
    how may hours are there in an month by month..
    you can define a variable and write the code in the customer exit for deriving the total no. of hours available for that month and get that value into a variable for further calution like deducting the down time and set up time so on..in your
    calculated KF..
    Hope this helps..
    Assign points if useful..
    Cheers,
    Pattan.

    public class jcosample
       public static void main(String args[])
           JCO.Client myConnection = null;

    Note: in case for the BAPI that inserts or modified data you must call the BAPI_TRANSACTION_COMMIT also for the changes to get reflected in the Database.

  • Need help for ASM

    Hi
    My customer is using Oracle 11gR2 On Redhat Linux Enterprise server .
    Customer is running single instance database and he has created ASM diskgroup data which is containing two disks from two different NAS controller (named disk1 from NAS controller1 and disk2 from NAS controller2).
    During normal condition customer database is working fine and mount_status of both the disk is cached.
    After removing the LAN cable of NAS controller 2 , database is still working fine but MOUNT_STATUS of disk2 changed to MISSING and STATE changed to forcing .
    after plug-in the removed LAN cable again , disk2 mount_status is still showing as missing .
    Output of /etc/init.d/oracleasm listdisks is showing both the disks.
    Now my question is;
    01. Is it the normal behavior of ASM or dsik2 mount_status should automatically changed to cached status from missing once the missing disk connected to server again ?
    02. If it will not change automatically, then please suggest the minimum steps for changing the status from missing to cache.
    Thanks in advance
    Regards
    clarification .....
    I am talking about two different nas boxes which is connected to my Database server through switch. After removing the LAN cable of one NAS box , corresponding disk status in V$ASM_DISK is still showing as missing/forcing . But after plug in the LAN cable of NAS box its corresponding disk status still showing as missing . Would like to know does ASM change disk status automatically or we have to run some command for change the disk status..... like mount force ......
    Edited by: user10505923 on Feb 17, 2011 6:22 PM

    I didn't know that two ASM disks on two different storages / NAS servers but in the same ASM disk group was supported. That is like a "stretched mirror" implementation.
    If you have DISK_REPAIR_TIME configured (and have COMPATIBLE.ASM to 11.1 or higher) the DROP of a failed disk can be delayed. You need to issue an ALTER DISKGROUP ONLINE DISK to bring the disk online before it get's dropped.
    See http://download.oracle.com/docs/cd/E11882_01/server.112/e16102/asmdiskgrps.htm#CHDFCIEI "Oracle ASM Fast Mirror Sync" in 11.2

  • Need examples for non-linear optimization

    In the mathematics - optimization section there is a VI which is..... unconstrained optimization
    I am using the downhill simplex option and the input that describes the objective function is "another VI" which I will create.
    Are there any examples on how to use this VI since I am not sure how to use the "objective function" input which is a reference to another VI and how to set up the "function data" input either (i.e do you use it specify constants ???? how do you do this ????)

    Hi sammy,
    You can find more information about this command by right-clicking on the VI and choosing Help. You can then choose the Downhill Simplex option for a detailed description of how to use this VI. The following information is provided in the Help about the "objective VI" you must build:
    objective function is a reference to the VI that implements the
    function to optimize. Create this VI by starting from the VI template located at
    labview\vi.lib\gmath\NumericalOptimization\ucno_objective
    function template.vit.
    Also, more help information can be viewed here:
    Downhill Simplex nD (Not in Base Package)
    I didn't find an example program in our Developer Zone, but you might be able to find one by searching the Discussion Forums.
    Hope this helps!

    hi Roy,
    Try this.
    Iterator chk =

  • Need example for using query string parameters in Web Dynpro

    Hello,
    Is it possible to transfer a Web DynPro application parameters at the query string (URL)?
    Can someone please show me an example of how to pass it and how to retreive it using code inside an application?
    Thank you in advance

    Hi,
    when launching WD apps in the Portal you have to define a WD iView in the Portal. This can be started using the NavigationTarget parameter.
    Parameters (ie. Business Parameters) that should be passed to the WebDynpro application can be defined in the iView itself - the iView attribute is called "Application Parameters". Here you can also define variable expressions like "emailaddr=<User.email>" so that the value of the email address is evaluated on runtime.
    This way you don't have to care about URL encodings at all
    The following user expressions can be used:
    <User.displayname>
    <User.uniquename>
    <User.firstname>
    <User.lastname>
    <User.salutation>
    <User.jobtitle>
    <User.department>
    <User.email>
    <User.telephone>
    <User.mobile>

  • The Examples They Show Are not for my computer I Need instructions For A Windows Computer HP TouchSmart

    The Examples They Show Are not for my computer I Need instructions For A Windows Computer HP TouchSmart

    hp
    The answers are in the details, and you have not given us enough details to help you.
    Right now I am guessing at what you seek. Are you trying to use your HP Touch Screen to do your
    Premiere Elements importing, editing, and exporting and the Touch Screen movements are not working
    to do what you want to do in Premiere Elements?
    Have you configured the HP computer Touch Screen? Using the Touch Screen, what cannot you do
    that you can do with the mouse?
    HP Support document - HP Support Center
    If I am guessing correctly here, does the mouse work instead of the Touch Screen to allow you to
    work in the program.
    I suspect that Premiere Elements does not support Touch Screen and you will end up using a mouse, but I would need to do more homework on
    that.
    This is not Adobe. Rather user to user. If you are dealing with the current version, 13, you might want to contact
    Adobe about the matter. More on that later, once you confirm the above or let me know that I have completely
    misinterpreted your question/concern.

  • Delphi doesn't compile the examples for DIO32HS

    Delphi doesn't compile the examples for DIO32HS
    Some libraries appear to be required,
    but there are none supplied
    According to the manual, one ActiveX should be sufficient.
    What version is the source provided ?

    The NI CD is Version 6.9.2
    There are examples : \National Instruments\NI-DAQ\Examples\Delphi
    There is no mention which Version of Delphi,
    I have 3,5 and 6. However there should be components
    to be installed into Delphi as DigitalWaveformContinous
    requires TCWNumEdit, TCWDI and so on.
    It also requires the units CWUIControlsLib_TLB,
    CWAnalysisControlsLib_TLB, CWDAQControlsLib_TLB which are not part of Delphi istself but have to be provided
    by NI.
    Today I'm going to try Borland C++Builder, of which
    I have version 4 and 5. This will also require some
    components to be installed in BCB, I couldn't find them
    yet.
    \National Instruments\NI-DAQ\Examples\BorlandC
    BTW: this ActiveX that was talked about couldn't be
    found on the drive either. no *.ocx
    It cannot be that hard. I just want a procedure
    to setup the PCI-DIO-32HS, in terms of what is input
    and output, how the handshaking is done and then
    read/write to the port.
    Rene
