Need help separating colors in a photo for screen print

Hey guys, I'm relatively new to Photoshop but I know most of the basics. I have a design here that a band would like to print on a shirt in 2-3 colors: black, grey, and white. Technically I only need the grey and white because it is being printed on a black shirt. I need to first convert it to black/grey/white, then I need to separate the colors into layers, but I'm just not sure the correct way to do so. Could someone please help me with this? Your image is at 72ppi. Which is not recommended for print.
Anyway, coming to your actual question, this is a mixture of color tones across the image - not just one place.
If you're looking at printing it in 3 shades, why don't you consider making the image 'Greyscale' in Photoshop?
Another suggestion would be to talk to the printer who is going to print this to a t-shirt and explore possibilities.

I am trying to help some artists in mexico with their weaving. We are using elements 11 on vista 7. We would like to change colors in a piece to see if they are pleasing to the eye. Is it possible to change colors thoughout the whole piece at once? Using a brush to paint over each and every area would be so time consuming as their work is quite intricate. That is not a feature of iPhoto - suggest to Apple - iPhoto Menu ==> provide iPhoto feedback.

Need help Installing Flash player 10.3 for firefox. It stops at 50%

So I have Windows Vista Basic Home, I tried updating my Flash version in firefox because it was out of date, but everytime it start downloading it , then I get the a message that says "Error " Appliation in use." I uninstalled it and followed all the suggestions on the websites nothing is working. I even uninstall google chrome thinking it was the problem but I'm still having that problem so I really don't know what to do because now the only place Flash player is installed seems to be Google chrome that I had to redoawload, but everywhere else tells me that I need to install it.

I have been using photoshop on mac for over a year and now need the serial number to be able to use it on macbook. I looked up Adobe's website for help but found none and noone to ask for support.. In any case I would suggest to get an audio interface which is *Core Audio* compatible. This means that you just need to plug it in and it will work with OS X’s integrated driver. I once had an M-Audio interface which needed its own driver and it had latency problems because of them. I am currently using the EDIROL FA-66 with 10.6.3 on my MacBook Pro. I have also heard good things about the FireWire interfaces from Presonus, like the FireBox.

I am using Eclipse Sdk Version: 3.1.2
IBM websphere 6.0
JDK 1.4
I set debug value to "true" in my application.xml
I have a .ear file of my application deployed on the websphere appserver. Currently I can test my application in nobebug mode.
values of environment variables are -
JAVA_HOME - C:\DEV\IBMJDK142; C:\Program Files\Java\jre1.6.0_03
PATH - C:\DEV\IBMJDK142\bin; C:\Program Files\IBM\WebSphere MQ\Java\lib;C:\DEV\IBMJDK142\bin;%SystemRoot%\system32;%SystemRoot%;
I want to test the application in debug mode.
I am using default server on websphere, which is server1.
In Admin-console of webshere I went to
server-->Application server-->choose server1-->Debugging Service ---->checked the checkbox "Enable service at server startup"
Here value of my JVM debug port is 7777.
next In Eclipse env I chose Run---->Debug....--->Remote Java Application ----> created a new application with the name of my application and set the connection properties to -
Host - localhost
port-7777
Eclipse----> Windows----->Preferences---->Server----->Installed Runtime---->Add---->selected values such as -
JRE - default JRE(JDK 1.4)
IBM Websphere Installation Directory - C:/DEV/WebSphere/AppServer
saved it.
Now in debug perspective, I created a new server with selection/values such as -

Might check to see if you have an older version of Acrobat X installed previously under
Mac HD > Applications > Utilities > Adobe Installers
If you have an uninstaller for Acrobat X try uninstalling it then installing again like you did through Creative Cloud.

Best way to prepare photos for iPhoto printed book

Hello,
I was wondering what would be the best way to prepare photos for iPhoto printed book on a Macbook Pro so to achieve the most realistic results to what's on the screen
ie. which software should I use to change photos from RGB to CMYK, photoshop or iPhoto itself. I'm guessing maybe the autofix feature in iPhoto? (I don't have Aperture)
Secondly, which monitor color setting should I set the screen at? I'm guessing it's either Apple RGB or Colour LCD, maybe even ColorMatch RGB?
Any any other tips that people can give in achieving the most realistic results to what you have on the screen when your printed iPhoto book gets sent back. I don't want the mid tones to disappear or become too bright because the gamma and color settings were different to what they use at the other end.

The situation has changed a little, our original photos are in RAW format and some of them are slightly over saturated in the higher tones.
I've read on other threads that it is a good idea to run the 'Enhance' tool on all photos before sending the iPhoto Book away.
Since iPhoto's 'Enhance' tools seems to do a lot of helpful things like sharpen, adjust the levels, etc it also seems to notch the contrast up and this would prove destructive for the lighter and darker tones not captured by the camera's dynamic range.
So as I've been advised it's best to use Apple's own tools before sending the iPhoto Book away, so I'm going to download the trial of Aperture.
Does anyone have any more recommendations on which monitor colour profile setting to use etc. I've also read that iPhoto prints best from JPEGS so the RAW will obviously need changed. Will Aperture automatically save to Profile name: Camera RGB Profile after I've done some editing there?
What would be the best way to prepare RAW images in aperture where some of them might need an Image Overlay in Photomatix then imported back to Aperture for printing an Apple/iPhoto style Book?
