Need info on the approach for building admin forms for authoring

Hi,
I have a requirement to store the content in the content repository. I have two levels of data to be stored i.e. continents & countries; both continents & countries have their individual properties; continent contains countries node. I need to build a mechanism to store the content at a particular location in the JCR. The content authors should be able to add, edit or delete the continents & countries.
What's the best way to build this admin form? Should the custom node types be created? Should a custom action type to be built? To support dynamism on UI i.e. add, edit & delete in a single form - how can it be done efficiently?
If someone can provide me pointers, I will start with my build. Let me know if you need more information.

The approach you listed sounds easy to implement.
However I want to understand why out of all we choose cq:Page and why not nt:unstructured or sling:orderedFolder? Can sorting be enabled in this case?
Also I have various scenarios where I need to store different form of data. Another example is storing product information in a alphebetical manner. There are lot of products to be stored and needs to be displayed in a tab format. The tab looks something like this A-E, F-L, M-S, T-Z, which should be configurable. Do you recommend creating one page per alphebet e:g A, B, C... and add all products (component) starting with A under page A, and so on? Or is there a better way to implement?
Can something like calendar event be used here where in year, month and day node gets created first and then the event node is added. If so, in the above scenario how can the nodes A, B, C... be autocreated when products are added? Also the products need to be always sorted.

    MobileMe was discontinued in 2012 and all the data stored on it was deleted, and iCloud can't make backups of Macs.
    What I recommend you to make backups is to get an external drive and use Time Machine or an application like Carbon Copy Cloner. With this, you can access to your data everywhere and safely, and then, if you want, use a cloud storage service like CrashPlan. You can keep on using iCloud without backups

    yes and no . You need as well weblogic + soa files as the database schemas (soa_infra, mds...).

    Apps are permanently tied to the ID used to purchase them.
    Go to https://appleid.apple.com/cgi-bin/WebObjects/MyAppleId.woa/ and re-set th password for the old one.
    Then, log into the app store with it and update the apps purchased with that ID.

        As far I know SAP is going to stop support for SAPScript in coming years (I don't know exact dates). It is pretty much advisable to use Adobe Print Forms.

      We can use Adobe Print Forms where ever we can able to use SApscripts/PDF print Forms.

      It is better to settle with Adobe forms rather than using SAPscript/Smart forms. One of the main reason for this is maintainance is much easier than SAPscript/Smart forms.
    But remember that Java Stack need to be installed in order to use Adobe Forms.

                  I have one query regarding the fields details in particular form for all the users in company.
    Let take an exapmle if i had created Purchase Order having fields in content tab as 1.Item No. 2.Quantity 3.Unit Proce   4.Total   5. Location.
    While Login in User manager i set these fields only for Purchase order , but when i login from other user and open the similar purchase order the defaults fields are also seen including  above 4 fieds .
    Now my question is how to set the User choice fiels for the particular form that are common to all users.
    Means whenever i login in any user and opens the same document the same fields should be seen....Thanksssss.........

    You have to login with each and every user and do the Form Settings of every forms, so that all the forms look same for all the users.
    This is a manual job and you have do do it with every user login.

    im just a mom, not very computer savy.....however, I need to change the payment method my daughter uses to purchase things on her ipad due to the fact that the current one is expiring. ie: for such things like songs and games, etc.

    On a computer's iTunes you should be able to edit the payment info by going into the Store > View Account menu option (if you are not logged into the account that your daughter is using then Store > Sign menu option to log out of the currently logged in account ; that will then change to a Store > Sign In option so that you can log into her account) and log into the account (enter the account's password and click View Account on the popup)
    And on the account's details page there should be a payment link.
    If you are doing it on your iPad then tap on your id in Settings > iTunes & App Store (if not logged into her account then log out of your account via the popup that you get and then log in with her account) and tap on 'View Apple ID' on the popup and log into the account  - that should also give you a payments link on your account's page.

    Hi, I am trying to create reports based on the logs that are created on my exchange server. I am using
    exchange 2013. My problem is that I cannot handle every log, and instead want specific types of logs.
    I need help finding the specific locations of the following types of logs (If they even exist), so that I can parse them and use them effectively:
    Audit Logs (Mailbox logons, Mailbox permission changes, Mailbox property changes,
    Exchange store changes)
    Mail Report Logs (Mailbox size and growth, Mailbox storage growth, Enabled users, Expired and Soon-to-Expire Mailboxes)
    Exchange Traffic Reports (Details on size and amount of messages sent and recieved, Internet traffic [to and from], Traffic between exchange users)
    I understand this might sound like a huge undertaking, but any help that can be provided would be appreciated.
    Again, I need information on the locations of these types of logs on the exchange server, so that I can parse them. Collecting them all and searching through them is not practical for my available resources.

  • Changing the compiler in the SDK when building a BSP for a Zynq

    Hi,
    I have a zedboard and I need to get software running in a bare bones AMP situation using the IAR compiler. There is an eclipse plugin that I've manged to add to the SDK and I can get non BSP apps to use the IAR compiler, but not build/link as the BSP wont build with IAR.
    Looking through the SDK files I can see that there are some files to support the IAR compiler (C:\Xilinx\SDK\2015.2\data\embeddedsw\lib\bsp\standalone_v5_1\src\cortexa9\iccarm) however I can't figure out how to point the BSP at these files instead of the GCC ones.
    I feel like there's something simple I'm missing, like there should be an option in the BSP generation process or something.
    Has anyone else tried to go this?
    This was from a custom hardware design exported from Vivado 2015.2.

    Thanks, these helped a lot.
    I had to add the complier directory to my PATH variable.
    I found that I couldn't use the GUI to change the compiler flags and it kept passing -O2 -c to the compiler, neither of which are valid for IAR. So I had to manually edit the make file, this causes a problem if I try and re-open the options via the GUI and re-generating the sources deletes my change, but it does work.
    A couple of the other make files needed modifiying as well, XCoresightPs - needed to specify the cpu (IAR option --cpu= Cortex-A9) and the XGpio make file just needed a complete re-write no idea what was going on there, I copied a working one and changed the names.
    Also, for any other IAR users out there; --diag_suppress=Pa050 is a must, (removes warning about non native line endings)

  • Need 2 create the supplementary exc invoice at depots for differential ED

    Dear SAP Experts,
              I've already posted the same issue in SD-Billing forum also. But there are not many views in that forum. So, I'm posting it again in this forum.
             My scenario is our parent Factory will raise a supplementary invoice to Depots for differential rates and create the excise invoice for the same using J1IS. Then, the depot has to capture the same differential duty and the same has to be passed on to the customer during the sales as well as a supplementary excise invoice should be raised for the sales which are already been made from depot in the past through the same mother invoice reference.
    My questions in this regard are:
    1. What could be the Excise Transaction Type at Factory to create supplementary inv using J1IS (I suppose it is OTHR)
    2. How to capture the the same differential excise at depots which needs to be reflected in RG23D entry? (As per my knowledge it is through J1IGA)
    3. If it has to be captured through J1IGA, the problem is system is not allowing to enter the differential duty for which stock has been completed at depot. My requirement is even the stock is finished at depots, we need to capture the differential duty as we would like to raise the supplementary excise inv to the customers who have bought the material.
    4.How to Raise the supplementary excise invoice at depots so that the RG23D entry will be adjusted with the same.
    Please suggest me the right solution for the mentioned requirement asap.

    The process what you are following at Depot is wrong. Imagine, how can you raise excise invoice from depot when stock is not there in RG23D? Or how can you capture supp exc invoice in depot for materials which have alreay been sold.
    The process to raise supp excise inv from factory is via J1IS and your understanding is right.
    Regarding passing on the subsequent excise duty to customer is not possible. And why would you do this.
    As per the excise law, the differential duty is to be paid, when you sell the goods from depot at a higher rate than they were transferred. The government charges this duty because, you transferred at lower cost and paid lower duty but sold the goods to customer at higher rate.
    Considering this case, imagine if you sold the goods from depot at a lower rate than the transfer (means Transferred goods from factory at Higher rate say 20 $ at this you pay excise duty of 0.16 $) If you sell them at 10 $ you still transfer the excise duty of 0.16$ isn't it. In this case wll you collect back the excise duty from the customer???
    The right process is raise a supp exc invoice for differential duty and leave it at this stage. At depot it is not possible to capture and pass duty where the material is sold, and it is not required by law as well.

    You need to copy SAMPLE_PROCESS_00002040 and adjust it to write code as per your requirement. This BTE runs for each payment advice note to be sent and in the module, it is mentioned 1=print, 2 = Fax and I=mail, so you can set your priority, that if an E-Mail address is maintained in the vendor master, send mail or if no E-mail address is maintained shoot a Print.
    From Configuration side, you need to maintain the Z copy of SAMPLE_PROCESS_00002040 in FIBF transaction under the Process module of a customer without country or application indicator. 
    Refer to SAP Note 836169 - Consulting: Payment advice notes by email or fax.

    but how to change the start date of a new contract item?
