Neglected podcast "no longer available in the U.S. store"

We started our podcast over a year ago, and then took an, ahem, "hiatus."
Today we resurrected the podcast, but when you click on the icon for our podcast, it says "the item you've requested is currently not available in the U.S. store."
But if I try to resubmit the feed, it says that feed has already been submitted.
You can't report a problem with a podcast if you can't even log onto it. You can't "report a concern" because you get the error message first.
I need to either edit or delete this podcast, but can't figure out how to do either.
Help? Thanks.

This is a problem at iTunes. My subscribers are still getting the feed. I contacted iTunes and have gotten "cut and paste" answers. No real feedback why my podcast was pulled.
I will now have to resubmit my podcast and change the feed as iTunes says that the current feed has already been submitted.
I will lose thousands of subscribers, as the feed will be changed.
I sure wish iTunes would give me a clear idea why the podcast was pulled. This way I could make any adjustments if needed. Instead, although I have reached out to iTunes, I have no answers.

  • Popular science for iPad is no longer available in the australian app store - how do I get the issues I hadn't downloaded?

I have been a subscriber to Popular Science on the iPad since it started.
However, they have removed their app from the Australian App Store.
I now find that I cannot continue my subscription, and I can't access most of the issues that I had purchased, having either deleted them from my iPad or not downloaded them at all (even though I had paid for them).
What options do I have now?
I've been in email contact with Bonnier, the publishers.
They've apologised and given me a 12mth subscription to a PFD verison of the magazine via Zinio (which was good of them).
Regarding the back issues, they've suggested I restore them from a backup - how do I restore individual in-app magazine purchases from an old backup?
I think that I'm going to have to go to Apple and see if there's anything that they can do for me.
Any thoughts from the community would be gratefully received.

If your system's not compatible with 10.8 and has at least a Core 2 Duo(not Core Duo) CPU, phone the online Apple Store and order a download code for 10.7.

  • Why is Total Divas no longer available in the US store?

    Hello guys,
Hope that some of you can help me with this issue. In the previous months Total Divas season 1-3 were available to purchase on iTunes, and I purchased the season pass for each one. This last season however I am missing the whole second half of the series and now when I look up the show on iTunes it does not return any hits for it. When I googled it and it gave me a direct link to the show, once i opened it, it said that the content was no longer available to the US iTunes store. What happened, I currently have the seasson pass for the third season and still have no way of dowloading any of the episodes?
Thanks for any help you can provide me with this,

  • As of today, many podcasts no longer available on Apple TV. Why?

As of today, many podcasts no longer available on Apple TV. Why?

The offering list does not look any different to me.  The 15 or so I have flagged are all still there.   You would need to contact the pod caster and ask why they stopped distributing their pod cast via iTunes.

  • Podcast no longer available

My podcast, The PiratesWeek podcast, has been available for almost a year on ITunes. Now it no longer shows up in the store. It still downloads from the feed, but when I try to access it from the URL apple sent me when I set it up http://itunes.apple.com/WebObjects/MZStore.woa/wa/viewPodcast?id=296086995 I get an error that it is no longer available in the US. I tried to re submit the feed URL to ITunes, but I get the error message that the feed is already registered.
Any Ideas? The show has been going weekly since 3/05 and been on Itunes since 11/08.

There are basically two possible reasons for a podcast disappearing in this way: a technical problem in the feed; or that the Store has removed it because of content it objects to.
A technical fault normally results in the podcast remaining but not updating, and usually it can't be subscribed to manually either. I was able to subscribe manually (from the 'Advanced' menu, which accesses the feed directly without involving the Store). The FeedValidator report highlights what it calls 'potentially dangerous content' in line 156: I don't know whether this might upset the Store, but if it was there when the podcast did in fact appear, probably not.
So I can't see any obvious technical problem. This leaves the possibility that it has been removed; though I would have expected that you might receive an email telling you so. Reasons for removal include objectional (i.e. sexual or racist) language, or inclusion of uncleared copyright material. Only you can tell whether you have used uncleared material - in other words copyright recordings used without written permission or a licence from an accepted authority.
You could try asking Support, though others' experience suggests that the answers tend to be formula and unspecific: http://www.apple.com/support/itunes/store/podcast/

I have an iphone 2g unlocked for tmobile.  For the past 2 years it has worked fine then out of no where I get this message "your selected cellular network is no longer available" and the service cuts in and out all day.  It can't find tmobile on my phone for some reason but for 2 years previous it could no problem?  tmobile says it is a problem with my phone and not their service.
    Any ideas what to do?

I would just explain that this just started happening, that nothing has changed on the phone, that it is an original iPhone and I wondered if they are implementing a change in coverage with their Edge network in my area.
If you restore your phone, you will be given an option to back up your phone at the beginning of the process (see step 6 here: http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1414).  You will be given the option to restore to that backup at the end of the restore process.  Your messages are stored in the backup so restoring to the backup will return the messages to your phone.  Be sure to import your photos and videos to your computer (see http://support.apple.com/kb/HT4083) and back up your contacts somewhere before restoring your phone as these sometimesget lost in the restore process.

Mostly because you are not using any capital letters or paragraph returns and your post is difficult to read.

  • Some objects are no longer available in the universe.(Error: WIS 00001)

We are in the process of upgrading BOXI R2 to R3.1 SP3. Setup, configuration of BOXI R3 on new machine is done. And migrated the reports,  universes, users, groups and all repository objects with Import Wizard. everything seems good except few Webi reports pointing to wrong universes and getting the below error message.
"Some objects are no longer available in the universe. See your Business Objects administrator. (Error: WIS 00001)"
    1) I deleted the particular report from destination and re imported it but still same issue.
    2) deleted the file from Input file store and re imported it still same error I'm getting.
    Gurus, Please help me..
    Thanks,

if the issues is with one or two reports i would've tried manually editing each report, but here we've this issue with 20+ reports so far..
Just pointing it to right universe won't work, I've to add the missing objects as well. So Its like developing new report.
    Thanks!

  • Is it safe to delete iTunes media that is no longer available in the iTunes Store?

There is a support document that states it is OK to delete content locally so long as the content is available in the cloud depending on your geographic location.  As I'm in the US all media types are available.  From the document:
You can delete items that you bought from the iTunes Store, App Store, iBooks Store, or Mac App Store from your iOS device, Mac, or PC. Because Apple TV (2nd and 3rd generation) plays content from the cloud, you don't need to delete items from your Apple TV.
Before you delete an item, make sure you can download it again. If you can't or need to pay to download it again, back up the item before you delete it.
What I am still not clear on is if it is also safe to delete content that is no longer available in the iTunes store?  Will it still be available for previous purchases?
I prefer the quality and off-line availability of iTunes media over Google Play but I've had issues recovering deleted media in iTunes in the past and so have less anxiety about the security of my purchases on Google Play versus iTunes.  Can someone confirm if items no longer available for sale in iTunes are or are not still available via the cloud?

Thanks for the reply although I'm not too happy to hear it.  What's awesome about the cloud is no longer having to keep up with any physical media.  The promise of that is realized with everything else (my work, music, books) besides movies and TV.
I wonder how Google Play will handle movies/tv that becomes unavailable?  Google Play does allow you to download media in some circumstances (on Android and iOS) but is generally intended  for streaming.  Maybe relying on a physical copy as I do with iTunes should make me more comfortable with it and not less.
I will come back to mark your reply as the solution as it becomes clear there is not a contrary position.  Thank you.

  • My purchases from Apple TV are no longer available on the device.

I'm not sure what I've done but my purchases from Apple TV are no longer available on the device. They can only be found on Itunes under 'library/tv shows' and 'apple tv/tv shows'. How can I transfer the shows back onto my Apple TV and then erase the files from itunes? Once accomplished, how can I prevent my Apple TV purchses from syncing with my itunes (to save space on itunes, I prefer not to sync purchases from apple tv).
Thank you in advance for any advice!

    Welcome to the Apple community.
You haven't done anything wrong, this is the way it is supposed to work. You cannot sync the content back to the Apple TV and then erase it from iTunes because the Apple TV mirrors iTunes, and if it is deleted from iTunes it will also then get deleted from the Apple TV.
You might also see this, however I strongly recommend against it.

Podcasts that I had subscribed to with my old computer are invisible in the iTunes store on my new computer. The error message says the podcast is not available in the US. Yet I could still download the podcast on my old computer before I switched. How can I fix this?

    Hello, ted_marx38.
Thank you for visiting Apple Support Communities.
The most common cause for this issue would be media present that is purchased with another Apple ID.  When prompted to authorize the computer it may show a different Apple ID.  If this is the case, the computer will need to be authorized for this Apple ID.  The article below will walk you through the process of verifying if that is the case or correcting the issue if not.
iTunes repeatedly prompts to authorize computer to play iTunes Store purchases

  • Why is the Black Swan no longer available in the US store?

Why is the movie the Black Swan no longer available in the US store and does any know when it will again be available for purchase / rent?

    Hi...
This being a user to user forum, not Apple, we have no way of knowing Apple's policy regarding the availablity of movies sold or rented from the iTunes Store.
However, you can start a wish list.
In iTunes, click iTunes Store (below Store).
Find the song, video, or album you want to add.
Click the arrow to the right of the Buy button for the item you want to add:
From the menu that appears, choose “Add to Wish List:”

  • HT2490 my desktop and screen saver option is no longer available in the system preferences. meaning it is no longer listed. how would i go about getting it back?

my desktop and screen saver option is no longer available in the system preferences. meaning it is no longer listed. how would i go about getting it back?

If you used system cache cleaning software it can mess up Apple software.  Stop using such software.  Remove Mackeeper if present using these directions:
    https://discussions.apple.com/docs/DOC-3691
If you started typing something in the search field of the System Preferences, it might be hiding.   Quit and reopen System Preferences to be sure it isn't hiding because it is searching for another panel.
Lastly, if none of the above apply, go to your hard drive -> System -> Library -> PreferencesPanes folder and see if it is hiding there.  If it isn't, get your 10.5 installer disc that installed 10.5 on your Mac, and restore it with http://www.charlessoft.com/ 's Pacifist, and then run the 10.5.8 combo update to ensure the version matches the operating system.

  • Output is no longer available in the database control file

    Hi All
in Oracle 10g (10.2.0.1.0) - on suse Linux 9, OEM (10.2.0.1.0); I'm getting when I try to look at RMAN reports that databases reports are "Job output is no longer available in the database control file." - one one database.
I've searched forum and only found one thread
    (25/9/2007 - Re: rman backups )
that doesn't have any conclusion to the problem. Has anyone seen this problem before, and do you know if it means there is a problem with the control file?
    Thanks, DW

    Looks like Bug 4659734
    I totally agree with what you say grylew "If you use rman catalogue you shouldn't get this error"; for me, on a Suse 9 Linux server (10.2.0.1.0 db), the error eventually found was ORA-19921 ;
RMAN-06900: WARNING: unable to generate V$RMAN_STATUS or V$RMAN_OUTPUT row
RMAN-06901: WARNING: disabling update of the V$RMAN_STATUS and V$RMAN_OUTPUT rows
    ORACLE error from target database:
ORA-19921: maximum number of 64 rows exceeded
Which turns out to say it is a bug fixable by only 10.2.0.4.0 patch or 11g. So awaiting 10.2.0.4.0 I guess.
It all seems to be error assocaited with control file space; and I'f rather keep my control files healthy thanks.
Besides all this; for me the problem is pretty innocuous; it means OEM mis-reports success of archivelog backups; I can see they're successful in 'job's but not in 'backup reports'.
    Thanks all for help, DW
