NetBean - java class add to JFrame form?

i have already type my own class using 'java class type' . The problem is, now i wanted to add a new class using the GUI in netbeans, so i create a JFrame using GUI in netbean, how do i connect the 'java class type' with the 'JFrame Form type' in netbean?
I'll be able to call a frame to another frame if i using both JFrame form type. The problem came in when i try to link the java class i just mention above. Please help.

karhong,
Sorry mate, your question is impossible to interpret. Try asking your question again in different words... and include your code, and error any message(s)...
... and read the Formatting tips before you post.
... and this is a Java coding forum... so you might have better luck posting this one on a netbeans specific forum like JGuru's Netbeans Forum.

  • Import java classes Exception Error in Forms 10g

    Hi,
    I have created a jar file using JDeveloper and need to import it in my Forms 10g to be able to call web services. In my forms builder, after I click on Program - Import Classes and give the name of the stub I created, it gives me the following error :
    Exception occurred: java.lang.ClassNotFoundException:
    I am following the step by step instructions of OTN
    http://www.oracle.com/technology/obe/obe_as_10g/deploy/callws_fromforms/forms_webservice.htm
    In the above documentation, where it says "Call the Stub from a Forms Application", point no. 1, it tells to go to control panel - system - advanced - environment variables and edit CLASSPATH. The problem is that in my variable, I cannot see CLASSPATH, it has PATH. I had added my jar file in there. Is it because of this that I'm getting the error.
    After that I have added the jar file in default.env in CLASSPATH.
    I would appreciate your urgent help in this matter.
    Thanks in advance.

    Well you can create a new variable called CLASSPATH - however, if you are actually seeing the JAR file in the Java Importer then that would assume you are infact seeing the JAR file.
    DO you get this problem if you JAR up a simple "Hello world" - if could be that you are not importing all the classes needed . What Jdeveloper version are you using - if its 10.1.3.1 and JAXRPC web services you may need to add an additional JAR to the class.
    Luckily for you ...check out...

  • Java class in oracle forms

    Hello experts,
                        I am new in oracle forms.I am using oracle forms 11g with weblogic 10.3.5 at windows 7.Someone please clear me that the injection of java programing in oracle forms is through BEANS item only or I can use it(java class) as a part of my oracle forms.I mean I have a Java class.Could I use this java class inside my oracle forms without using Beans Item.
    Thank You
    regards
    aaaditya

    In forms you can use java in two different ways
    1. On the client-side. Using java-beans you can extend the client-functionality of forms. The code will run on the client-computer in the context of the applet.
    2. On the server-side. Using the java-importer you can build a PL/SQL-wrapper around a java-class and so use the java-code in your forms-PL/SQL
    What is your reuqirement?

  • How to call java classed in forms 10g

    Hi
    I am using forms 10g
    There is a java class email_class (to send emails and attachments). this java class (email_class) has further used two moere .jar files (activation.jar & mail.jar).
    Now I want to use this java class (email_class) in my form to send email and attachment.
    Could you please help me how can I do that?
    regards

    The jar file must be included in CLASSPATH which is set in the Forms default.env (or your own custom env if you created one). If you have not jar'd the class files, then the path to the class files should be included in CLASSPATH. Here is a simple example. Your CLASSPATH will contain many more entries.
    CLASSPATH=D:\oracle10g\iDS1012\j2ee\OC4J_BI_Forms\applications\formsapp\formsweb\WEB-INF\lib\frmsrv.jar;D:\oracle10g\iDS1012\jlib\share.jar;D:\oracle10g\iDS1012\jlib\utj.jar;D:\oracle10g\iDS1012\jlib\zrclient.jar;D:\oracle10g\iDS1012\forms\java\frmall.jar;D:\oracle10g\iDS1012\jlib\importer.jar;D:\oracle10g\iDS1012\forms\javaNotice that jar files are included in the path and the last entry is just a directory. In this case, if there are any class files which are not in a jar, they could be stored individually in the \java directory.
    Verify that you have at least the following included in your CLASSPATH:
    frmsrv.jar
    importer.jar
    share.jar
    utj.jar
    zrclient.jar
    Do not remove other entries which may exist as they are needed, but ensure that the list includes the above.

  • Help on creating Java Classes from WSDL in JDev 10.1.3

    Hi all,
    I am creating Java Web Service Class in JDev 10.1.3 based on my WSDL file, but I am getting a JAVA class for each Element in my WSDL, and each class has its own methods. But what I need is to have Only ONE Class with the Elements wrapped as methods in this class (this is the result I had when I was using JDev 9.0.2 but I had Datatype conversion issue, so now I am trying to do the same with JDev 10.1.3)
    My WSDL file is as follows:
    - <s:schema elementFormDefault="qualified" targetNamespace="http://tempuri.org/">
    - <s:element name="Connect">
    <s:complexType />
    </s:element>
    - <s:element name="ConnectResponse">
    <s:complexType />
    </s:element>
    - <s:element name="Disconnect">
    <s:complexType />
    </s:element>
    - <s:element name="DisconnectResponse">
    <s:complexType />
    </s:element>
    - <s:element name="GetPIValue">
    - <s:complexType>
    - <s:sequence>
    <s:element minOccurs="0" maxOccurs="1" name="piTAG" type="s:string" />
    <s:element minOccurs="0" maxOccurs="1" name="piTS" type="s:string" />
    </s:sequence>
    </s:complexType>
    </s:element>
    - <s:element name="GetPIValueResponse">
    - <s:complexType>
    - <s:sequence>
    <s:element minOccurs="1" maxOccurs="1" name="GetPIValueResult" type="s:double" />
    </s:sequence>
    </s:complexType>
    </s:element>
    <s:element name="double" type="s:double" />
    </s:schema>
    When creating the JAVA Classes in JDev, I am getting the following:
    Connect.java
    ConnectResponse.java
    Disconnect.java
    DisconnectResponse.java
    GetPIValue.java
    GetPIValueResponse.java
    But what I actually need is to have a Method GetPiValue that should take in 2 paramters as strings and return a Double Value. Now the GetPIValue looks like this:
    package ConnecttoPI;
    public class GetPIValue implements java.io.Serializable {
    protected java.lang.String piTAG;
    protected java.lang.String piTS;
    public GetPIValue() {
    public java.lang.String getPiTAG() {
    return piTAG;
    public void setPiTAG(java.lang.String piTAG) {
    this.piTAG = piTAG;
    public java.lang.String getPiTS() {
    return piTS;
    public void setPiTS(java.lang.String piTS) {
    this.piTS = piTS;
    With this class Generated, how can I call the Class Methods and get the response?
    Do I have to change the way/settings when I am creating the Java Classes using the Wizard? Why is the Wrapper wrapping the WSDL in multiple classes?
    Thanks to anyone's help in advance.
    Regards,
    Baz

    An update to my previous Post:
    After creating the Web Service proxy based on my WSDL file, I tested the Web Service Call from the Java Class (Service1SoapClient) and it is properly Calling the Web Service passing in String Paramters (2 Strings) and returning a Double Datatype. The Class is as below:
    package project1.proxy;
    import oracle.webservices.transport.ClientTransport;
    import oracle.webservices.OracleStub;
    import javax.xml.rpc.ServiceFactory;
    import javax.xml.rpc.Stub;
    public class Service1SoapClient {
    private project1.proxy.Service1Soap _port;
    public Service1SoapClient() throws Exception {
    ServiceFactory factory = ServiceFactory.newInstance();
    _port = ((project1.proxy.Service1)factory.loadService(project1.proxy.Service1.class)).getService1Soap();
    * @param args
    public static void main(String[] args) {
    try {
    project1.proxy.Service1SoapClient myPort = new project1.proxy.Service1SoapClient();
    System.out.println("calling " + myPort.getEndpoint());
    // Add your own code here
    double testResponse = myPort.getPIValue("A3LI004.pv", "9/9/2007 9:20 am");
    System.out.println("response from PI " + testResponse);
    } catch (Exception ex) {
    ex.printStackTrace();
    * delegate all operations to the underlying implementation class.
    Connect to PI Server
    public void connect() throws java.rmi.RemoteException {
    _port.connect();
    Disconnect from PI Server
    public void disconnect() throws java.rmi.RemoteException {
    _port.disconnect();
    Retrieve PI Values
    public double getPIValue(String piTAG, String piTS) throws java.rmi.RemoteException {
    return _port.getPIValue(piTAG, piTS);
    Now I am trying to IMPORT this class into Oracle Forms, but I am getting the following Error:
    Importing Class project1.proxy.Service1SoapClient...
    Exception occurred: java.lang.NoClassDefFoundError: oracle/webservices/transport/ClientTransport
    First, is this the Correct Class that should be Imported into Oracle Forms in order to Trigger the Java Class to Call the Web Service? Why am I getting this Error? I have read that this could be because of my CLASSPATH environment variable or the J2SE version compiling the java class???
    Can someone help me to IMPORT this Java Class properly into Oracle Forms and Call the Web Service?
    Many thanks for your help,
    Baz

  • How to create a template like JFrame Form in netbeans?

    Hi! I'm working with netbeans 5.5.1 jdk 6 and i'm trying to make my own JFrame form template to avoid writing a lot of code.
    I look in the Template manager and add my template but when i add it to the template list it appears like ".java" extension, no matter if i choose the .FORM file. This bring me the problem that i can't use the netbeans GUI editor on this template and is my goal :S
    It may be a simple question but i haven't found anything to solve it,
    If anyone knows how to create and use the templeate as i need i would appreciate the help!
    Thanks a lot!

    I'm sure that someone at the NetBeans website mailing list knows how to do that. Do note that these are Java forums, not NB support.

    Henrik, the Java importer lets you call Java classes on the app server side - I think what Ali is trying to do is integrate on the client side.
    If you want to add your own button then if you extend the standard Forms button in Java and then use this class name in the implementation class property then the Java for your button will be used instead of the standard Forms button. And since it has extended the basic Forms button it has all the standard button functionality.
    There is a white paper on OTN about this and we have created a new white paper which will be out in a couple of months (I think).

  • Error while importing java class into oracle forms 10g

    Hi
    I have generated a web service client using jdeveloper 10g. It consists of complex type methods. I am trying to import the class files using java importer in oracle form 10g. I am able import all of them successfully except one. That one is the main method. Please see the error and suggest me how to overcome this error.
    Exception occurred: java.lang.NoClassDefFoundError: oracle/jdeveloper/webservices/runtime/WrappedDocLiteralStub
    Thanks in advance

    Do you see oracle/jdeveloper listed in "Import Java Classes" when you try to import?
    If not, make sure you add C:\DevSuiteHome_1\jdev\lib\jdev.jar to FORMS_BUILDER_CLASSPATH in registry
    Also excetion indicates: oracle/jdeveloper/webservices/runtime/WrappedDocLiteralStub
    If you typing it - type: oracle.jdeveloper.webservices.runtime.WrappedDocLiteralStub

  • Forms 10.1.2 - Imported Java Classes are not running on JNI.NEW_OBJECT call

    Hi All,
    I've created a java class to call a webservice. This has been developed and tested in JDeveloper and works ok (using JDev Wizards - so it's generated code). I've created the JAR from it, imported the classes into Forms Builder and have my package and imported the java exception_ class too.
    So, everything compiles and looks good. When I run the application I can see in the console that my JAR is included in the loaded list. When I call the class (basing my code on the Forms Webservice example here on OTN) it doesn't work. I get the error ORA-6503 - function returns no value.
    I can step through the code in debug and it's in the generated constructor "new" function when the JNI.NEW_OBJECT is executed. I can't see into that so I'm a bit stuck ... I don't whether it's my java that is now failing or the system is failing to call it :
      FUNCTION new(
        a0    VARCHAR2) RETURN ORA_JAVA.JOBJECT IS
      BEGIN
        args := JNI.CREATE_ARG_LIST(1);
        JNI.ADD_STRING_ARG(args, a0);
        RETURN (JNI.NEW_OBJECT('oracle/forms/atrium/wsexport/proxy/AtriumExportWSSoapHttpPortClient', '(Ljava/lang/String;)V', args));
      END;Has anyone any experience or pointers for me ?
    Are there any extra JAR files I need to include in the CLASSPATH ?
    Forms Builder is 10.1.2.0.2, the Application Server is 10.1.2.3 and it JDeveloper 10 compiling Java 1.4. All on a Windows platform.
    TIA
    Steve

    Not sure if this is exact the document you are searching for, but this one works for me:
    http://www.oracle.com/technetwork/developer-tools/forms/webservices-forms-11g-094111.html
    It's for 11g, but I don't think there is much difference to 10g.
    Did you add your Jar file also to the classpath in the environment file of your webconfig?
    cheers

    I agree with Abdetu, you should create your own thread for your question. However, to set an environment variable in UNIX you declare the variable and then export it. For example, in your default profile you could add the following:
    FORMS_BUILDER_CLASSPATH='Your Path Here'
    export FORMS_BUILDER_CLASSPATHCraig...
