New Emails not in Bold

I use Verizon/Yahaoo email and most of my new emails are not arriving in my inbox in bold.  New emails are unbolded or as if I've already read them.  I have a Firewall and I have changed my password twice in the last few days and still I have this problem.  Can anyone help?

  • Number of new emails not appearing on menu bar

    I am using Firefox 4 and yahoo mail. The yahoo menu bar appears at the top of my browser screen. Where it shows "mail" a number would appear showing me how many new emails were waiting for me. With FF4 it no longer shows.
    The actual number is not important to me. But the fact that there are fresh emails waiting is important. Is this feature gone? Is there a way to activate it? Is there another alert I can use?

  • Alerts from new emails not coming in.

    We have issue with the email alerts on outlook 2010. one of our users have full accessed to his boss email. Thus, he viewed two accounts in his outlook 2010 together. in the left hand pane of outlook, he have two accounts. When there are new emails come
    in, he received alerts because those are his own emails. however, not for his boss mailbox. when there are new emails in, his boss mailbox on his outlook doesn't have any alerts at all.
    did anybody have faced the same issue? how to solve it?

    Hi Henry,
    Truly Outlook does not provide any kind of an easy way for this, so you could apply an email alert on the additional email account. Outlook email alerts only works on the new email of Inbox but with the help of
    "Rules" it can be probably possible.
    Follow the given path and start creating rule for email alerts (additional e-mail account):
    Rules and Alerts >> New Rule >> Apply Rule on Messages I Receive (Next) >> Sent to People or Public Group (Next) >> Display a Desktop Alert >> Finish

  • New emails not showing in groupwise

    I am a teacher and we use groupwise email. Since I bought my iPhone about 1 year ago (and iPad about 9 months ago) I have had my groupwise email connected to both devices and have NEVER had a problem.  This morning I got in to my groupwise and saw that I had several new emails and them they just disappeared. The icon says that I have new emails but they don't show on either device. If I go on to my computer and log on to my email I can see them.
    I have tried deleting the email account from both devices, shutting them off, and  setting them up all over again and it's still not working. This issue just started today.

    If you have been connecting in all this time with your Apple devices, what connection method have you been using all this time?
    I hope it is using the ActiveSync method (Exchange) as outlined here http://support.apple.com/kb/HT2480
    This is the preferred method for GroupWise using the GroupWise Mobility Service (which is ActiveSync).

  • Having problems with a recently updated email/apple ID. New email not being recognized.

    I recently changed my email address for my apple ID. I went on  my phone and changed/updated the ITunes and App Store section with my new email. Everytime I try to use an App, a pop up appears with my old email/apple ID and its asking me for a password. How do I get this pop up to stop or better yet how do I get it to display my new email/apple ID? 

    Settings > Store > Sign out.
    Then Sign in with the correct credentials.

    I have a nokia n97 mini and i use nokia messaging
    Is it possible somehow to turn of email vibration, but to keep on sms vibration?

    I haven't tried this before, but have you tried to turn email alert off in the profile? I don't know if it'll work.

    I assume you have tried toggling the setting in Firefox between Outlook and, say, Gmail:
    orange Firefox button ''or'' classic Tools menu > Options > Applications
    In the search box, type or paste '''mailto''' and pause for the list to filter.
    Change the setting and OK to save it, then return to the dialog, change back, and OK again.
    You also might want to toggle the setting at the OS level between Microsoft Outlook and the native Windows Mail client in a similar fashion. In Windows XP you could use IE's Options dialog, Programs tab, for this, but I'm not sure in Windows 7.
    Since one possibility is a problem in your Firefox settings (including the possibility of interfering add-ons), and another is a problem at the Windows level (e.g., Registry settings), it would be useful to try to identify which one it is. One quick way to distinguish is to create a new Firefox profile. It will start up with all factory settings. You can switch back to your existing profile after testing.

  • I do not get new emails highlighted or indicated in "Mail" tab on home page

    On my home page where emails are listed, new emails were always in bold. No longer. In the upper right hand corner where it has choices, it always indicated how many new emails. Doesn't do that anymore. How can I get those back?

    This page does not help . . When I try to get a new key, it asks for me to log in - email address ok, but incorrect password. Request new password . . no email back to enable me to re-set.
    I have tried a master reset . . that does not help either . .

    I talked with a tech today and he said I cloud is having problems which should be resolved shortly.
    In the mean time I used the .me smtp server settings which allowed me to send mail.

    I had a family pack but now I am not able to reach my son's email account. How can I find and transfer it? Or how can I open a new email account for my son through my icloud id.     Each sub-account of a MobileMe Family Pack should have been individually migrated to iCloud before August 1st last. Assuming that you didn't do this, you should be able to reactivate the address (though not retrieve its previous contents) by signing in with it in System Preferences>iCloud and enabling Mail - your son should do this on his own Mac or his own user account if he is using your Mac. It's not clear whether he will be able to reactivate the @me.com version or only get an @icloud.com version. (It would be useful to know, when he tries it.)
    If he did migrate the account to iCloud then signing in in the same way should retrieve the contents and the @me.com address should work.
    Alternatively he can just create a new Apple ID (for which he will need a new non-Apple email address) if he doesn't already have one, and sign in with that, enabling Mail and choosing a new @icloud.com address.
    You should note that in none of these cases does his account have anything to do with yours (there is no need for a Family Pack equivalent in iCloud as it's free at basic level).
    You could add an email alias to your account, but it's not a good idea as it will mix his emails up with yours and he won't be able to detach it later.

  • I chged my internet provider and new email address and  cloud is not recognizing this chg.  i deleted my old email acct from ipad and added new acct and since then i cannot send email nor the cloud will recognize the new email address.  do i need to sync

    i chage my internet provider and therefore email address. i deleted my old email address from my ipad and now i am not able to email from new email address nor will i cloud recongnize my new email address which is my apple id now.  since i deleted my old email acct   the cloud is not allowing me to chg this address in settting.  the cloud still has my old email address listed.

  • HT204053 I changed my Apple ID to reflect my new email address but it does not allow me to change it in iCloud or my iTunes account on my iPhone.  Can anyone help me with this?

    I recently changed my email address and have changed my Apple ID to reflect that.  My itunes account will work on my PC with that new ID but my iCloud will not.  Also, my iPhone will not use my new email address for either itunes or icloud.  I don't know how to change it.
    I read that if, on your iPhone you delete your iCloud account, you just open a new one with your new email address.  Is that true, and, if you do that, do you lose your photos on your iPhone.  AND, if you lose your photos on your iPhone, will they be pushed back to your iPhone if you manually sync your phone and PC?

    If you only changed the name of your ID rather than creating a new ID, just go to Settins>iCloud and tap Delete Account then sign back in with the new name.  (Deleting the account from your phone does not delete it from iCloud.  Your data will be synced back to your phone when you sign back in.)
    If you created a new ID, you'll have to go to Settings>iCloud on your phone and turn all data you are syncing with iCloud (contacts, calendars, etc.) to Off.  When prompted choose to keep the data on your iPhone.  (If you are syncing iWork documents with iCloud, also open your iWork apps and turn off iCloud syncing and choose to keep the documents on your phone.)  After everything is turned off, scroll to the bottom and tap Delete Account.  Next, set up a new iCloud account using your other ID, then turn syncing for your data (contacts, etc.) back to On.  When prompted, choose Merge.  This will upload the data to your new account.
    You won't lose any photos in your camera roll or photo library.  If you have any photos in your photo stream that are over 30 days old that are not in your camera roll or saved on your computer, be sure to save these to the camera roll before deleting the account.  To do so, open the photo stream album on your iPhone in the thumbnail view, tap Edit, tap all the photos you need to save to select them, tap Share, then tap Save to Camera Roll.

    Of course your password shouldn't work on a different Apple ID. This can happen for many reasons, no worries, just sign out back back in using your own ID.
