NI-CAN Self reception usage?

Question, I have a CAN polling loop setup where I look for incoming frames by configuring the C-Attr VI for read entries pending? My quesiton is, I want to see the CAN frames I write out to the NI-CAN when the other CAN device responds back with a frame. I know this will work with using the Self Reception mode, but I'm not quite sure where to set it up using a property node. If I set it using the C-Attr node I can't use it for monitoring incoming frames anymore. Where would I configure the Self Reception setting before the write some where? I need the C-Atrr configured to monitor incoming frames so could someone please point me the right direction on the proper usage to have both the self reception and read entries pending setting configured in my polling loop so I can monitor outgoing frames as well?

If you read the help file you will see it described there:
Self Reception?
For CAN, this specifies whether to echo successfully transmitted CAN frames into the read queue of the CAN Network Interface and/or CAN Objects (Series 2 only). Each reception occurs just as if the frame were received from another CAN device.
For self reception to operate properly, another CAN device must receive and acknowledge each transmit. If a transmitted frame is not successfully acknowledged, it is not echoed into the read queue.
Communication must be stopped to set this attribute. Use Start On Open False with ncConfigCANNet.vi, set the attribute, then use ncAction.vi to start communication.
0 (FALSE) Disables Self Reception mode (default). Transmitted frames do not appear in read queues.
1 (TRUE) Enables Self Reception mode. Transmitted frames appear in read queues as if they were received from another CAN device.

Define if users or functional owner can self-approve their own requests-OIM

I have a scenario where in if a user replaces his manager as proxy and makes a request for a resource, the approval task triggered goes to the user itself and the user can approve it. I want to deactivate this functionality.
I was told that since BP12 has been applied, OIM allows us to define if users or functional owner can self-approve their own requests. Is this possible and if yes then how to go about it??

Per BP11 for OIM 10g documentation:
9649346 A user could approve or update the user's own request. This feature could not be disabled. From this release onward, this feature can be enabled or disabled depending on your requirement. See Section 3.10, "Using the XL.AllowBeneficiaryToApprove System Property" for information about implementing the fix for this item.>
There is also this in BP11:
9271449 Requesters could reassign approval tasks to themselves. See Section 3.9, "Using the XL.RequesterCanBeApprover System Property" for information about implementing the fix for this item.>
System configuration variables in 10g are in the design console. In 11g, they are in the web console.

How can I see usage statistics on my podcast?

I would also like to change the email address associated with the podcast (created in 2007 and we've changed personnel since then) but that's secondary.
My main question is where can I go to see how much activity we're receiving on my podcast via iTunes? I can see how many downloads my mp3 files are getting from my server stats, but surely there is a way to see how much traffic / downloads I'm getting on the iTunes podcast?

The best solution for stats is to host your media files at a podcast host that knows how to count and more importantly filter out your data.
Most self hosted accounts show their stats from 5 to 15 times higher than they really are.
Libsyn.com provides that info for you if you host your files with them - and the data is filtered out for repeate requests especially from iOS devices which do byte range requests - which really through off non-podcast hosting stats.
This is the reason you see many of the big shows hosting with a true podcast host - so they can get accurate metrics.

Can I view usage with an EE PAYG account?

I have an EE PAYG account. I have repeatedly tried to view my usage in my account, but keep getting an error message saying 'something has gone wrong'. Is this something I can correct on the phone itself or a problem with the account or system?

Turn off wifi and click open the MyEE app.

My Skype Manger accounts has a number of members and I need to download usage reports each month for those members. We will add members on a monthly basis which means the member list will grow and downloading reports could become a lengthy process.
Is there any way to download the reports for all members at the same time?

Can you use a self signed certificate on an external Edge Server interface?

I have a small lab deployment for evaluation purposes. The Lync FE server works great for internal users. I have now added an Edge server. For the internal interface, I have a self signed certificate from our internal CA. (no problem there) For the external
interface, I have a self signed certificate from our own external CA. I have installed the cert on the client machine of the external user and installed it for trusted operation. I have used the RUCT and digicert tools to prove that the external self signed
cert is valid (root and intermediate have been checked for validity).
At first, when logging in from the Lync 2013 client on the external users machine, I would get an error from Lync about the cert being untrusted. I have now fixed that error by adding it as trusted. At this point, there are no errors or warnings in the Event
Viewer (in the application or system logs) However, I receive the following error from the Lync client, "Were having trouble connecting to the server... blah, blah".
Here is my question. Does the Microsoft Lync 2013 client and/or the "testconnectivity.microsoft.com" tool specifically prevent or forbid the use of self signed certificates on the external interface of an Edge server? They seem too.
I can tell if the certificate is my problem or something else. Any ideas on how to trouble shoot this?

Thanks for all your help. I got it working.
My problem with the Lync client error, "Were having trouble connecting to the server... blah, blah", was NOT a certificate error. It was a problem with my Lync Server Topology. (My sip default domain needed to match my user login domain.)
Let me update everyone about self-signed certificates:
YES, you can self-sign a certificate on your external edge server. It is a pain, but possible.
I have a self signed certificate from our own external CA. I have installed the cert on the client machine of the external user for trusted operation. I have used the RUCT and digicert tools to prove that the external self signed cert is valid (root and
intermediate have been checked for validity).
Here are my notes:
Create/enable your own external Certificate Authority (CA) running on a server with internet access.
On the Lync Edge Server, run the "Lync Server 2013 - Development Wizard".
Click "Install or Update Lync Server System". (Lync will automatically determine its deployment state)
You should have already completed: Step1 and Step 2.
Run or Run Again "Step 3: Request, Install or Assign Certificates".
Install the "Edge internal" certificate.
Click "Request" button to run the "Certificate Request" wizard.
You use can "Send the request immediately to an online certificate authority" option to connect to your internal CA, and create the certificate.
Once the certificate has been created, use "Import Certificate" to import it.
Once imported, on the Edge Server, go to: (Control Panel -> Administrative Tools -> Internet Information Services (ISS) Manager -> Server Certificates -> Complete Certificate Request...
In the Lync deployment wizard - Certificate Wizard, "Assign the newly imported "edge internal" certificate.
Install the "Edge External" certificate (public Internet).
Click the "Request" button to run the "Certificate Request" wizard.
Press "next"
Select "Prepare the request now, but send it later (offline certificate request).
Supply the "Certificate Request File" name and location. (You will need the file later. It should have the file extension ".req").
Click next on the "Specify Alternate Certificate Template". (which means you are using the default options)
Give it a Friendly Name. Bit Length = 2048. I selected "Mark the certificate's private key as exportable" option.
Fill in the organization info.
Fill in the Geographical Information.
The wizard should automatically fill-in the "Subject name:" and "subject alternative name:' fields.
Select your "Configured SIP domains"
"Configure Additional Subject Alternative Names" if you want. Otherwise, next.
Verify the "certificate Request Summary". Click next.
Run the wizard script to "Complete". The wizard will create a file containing the certificate request with the file extension ".req". (Let's assume the file name is "myCert.req")
Move your myCert.req file to your external CA. Have your CA issue the cert (based on myCert.req) and export the new cert to a file. I save it as a P7B certificate. (Let's call it "ExternalCert.p7b")
In the Lync Deployment wizard - Certificate Wizard, click on "Import Certificate" for ExternalCert.p7b.
Once imported, on the Edge Server, go to: (Control Panel -> Administrative Tools -> Internet Information Services (ISS) Manager -> Server Certificates -> Complete Certificate Request... (assign it a friendly name. Let's say "EXTERNAL-EDGE")
For the "External Edge certificate (public Internet), click "Assign".
The "Certificate Assignment" wizard will run.
Click next.
From the list, select your cert "EXTERNAL-EDGE".
Finish the wizard to "complete".
You are finished on the server.
Move the "ExternalCert.p7b" file to the machine running the lync client. Install the cert via the "Certificate Import Wizard".
When installing it to a particular Certificate Store, select the "Place all certificates in the following store" option.
Browse
Select "Trusted Root Certification Authorities"
Finish the wizard.

How can I better analyze my usage on HomeFusion?

I understand all the factors that can aggregate data usage... uploading photos, automatic updates,,, all those things. Yet the only analysis tool I have with Home Fusion is a downloadable spreadsheet with snapshots of what Verizon is recording as total usage. I see things that don't make sense to me, but have no way to determine where the data is coming from. With a previous vendor, I could at least log into my router and get device detail. For example, between 2:11 AM and 6:11 AM Verizon show usage of 851 MB. To the best of my knowledge, all my devices were powered off. I'm willing to give Verizon the benefit of the doubt, but I need a way to get to the bottom of this. Any suggestions?

If you want detailed monitoring of your internet connection then you need to invest in a monitoring devices and services. As VZW mentioned, they do not currently allow users access to the actual data logs to determine where usage is coming from. You must capture your internet traffic before it hits the VZW device in order to see detailed logs.
A product that works well on PC's is something called Networx. Networx has a Usage by Application feature that is wonderful for seeing exactly what app or service is chatting over the internet.
For non-PC monitoring you will have to look into a seperate monitoring router. Certain router models come pre-installed with usage monitors and are easy to use. All you have to do is purchase one, cascade it into the HFRouter and then connect your devices to the new router instead of the HFRouter.
For more advanced users there is DD-WRT which is a free router firmware update that can take advantage of many free monitoring add-ons. DD-WRT does not come with hardware and must be installed on specific router models. If you were to look into DD-WRT you would need to aquire a supported router, install DD-WRT, cascade the DD-WRT router into your HFRouter and then connect all your devices to the DD-WRT router for monitoring.

Aggregates Usage? How can we find out?

These should be seen in one place.
At the same time, I would like to know whether the built aggregate is used by any cube or not.

If you want to check which all cubes have aggregates then go to RSDDAGGRDIR - Directory of Aggregates. The usage can be find for a particular aggregate can be find by going into that aggregate, there you will find a column Usage. You can check the usage there.

Can't See Text Usage Details On Old Bills

I need to review text messaging details on bills from 2010. I can access those bills online and see summary information for both voice and text (and yes, text messages were sent/received each month), but I can only see usage details for voice usage. When I click on the Usage Details tab for any bill in 2010, and then click on the "Messaging" link, I see this message: "You do not have any Text & Picture Message Details for selected Cell Phone Number and Statement Date" -- even though text messages were sent/received on each cell phone on our account during that particular billing period. How do I fix this or get the text messaging details for my account otherwise?

Is there a way to delete all details of calls and text messages? Even from online reports? I don't need them and don't want anyone to access them. I consistently chainge passwords but I am having a problem with an ex accessing my account. I have tried the lega route and they don't have laws etablished for a lot of things online. I am trying to protect myself. I need none of my activity displayed. Can someone please help me?
