No Java Timezone mapped exception

We are implementing ESS on Web Dynpro on MySAP ERP 2004. In production, we have one user getting the following exception at login. It appears SSO is failing to the WD iView with the following exception:
com.sap.security.api.NoSuchUserException: No Java timezone mapped to SAP timezone "200012".  No other users are getting this error.
Has anyone seen this error?

Hi Stephen,
Did you try to compare the Windows timezones (Regional settings - date formats)?
good luck,
Noel

  • Java.Lang.NullPoint.Exception in OWB Mapping

    Hello Everybody
    We are building Data Warehouse using OWB Repository 9.2.0.2.0. When we are validating or deploying the created map we are getting Java.Lang.NullPoint.Exception. This leads to blank screen. We are unable to recover the map. Sometimes, synchronization works to recover the map, but not all the times.
    Is there any solution to it?

    Is it possible to solve the problem without migrating? I have the details of error as follows --

  • Mapping java TimeZones to Cities

    Hello,
    Does anyone know of a list where the java TimeZones have been mapped to cities in the World. I have a table with cities, and I need to insert the appropriate java TimeZone in its respective column so that I can make the date/time conversions appropriately.
    Anyone know where I can get this list?
    Thank you.

    Thank you for your reply.
    I did that too, but I guess I am trying to find an easier way rather than sit down and map it myself. What I found from that search produced a lot of links, but none asscciated with the java timezones, which is what I need. I am hoping that someone already did that.

  • Create a web service from java bean and map exceptions to SOAP faults

    Hi,
    We have to expose our Session stateless EJB3 as web services. I've tried to use annotations and jdev wizard "java bean to web service" and it works fine.
    Our problem now is that our methods can throw a business exception that contains a list of error message strings to be presented on the client.
    I did not find any way to use annotations to make it build a wsdl with soap fault mapped to our exception class. Neither I could to make the wizard to create wsdl with faults.
    As we are exposing already designed and implemented classes as web services, I think the bottom-top (java->wsdl) approach is better that top->botton (wsdl->java). Therefore, I'm looking for a possibility to generate the web services from the java beans and have the exception be mapped to a soap fault message.
    We are using jdev 10.1.3.1 and OAS 10.1.3.1., is there a way to map exceptions to soap faults using bottom->top approach?
    thank you

    A couple of links that may be of help:
    http://www.netbeans.org/servlets/ReadMsg?listName=nbj2ee&msgNo=1218
    My last question concerning web services:
    I have already written a session bean and I'd like to add some methods
    as a web service to it, how do I do that?
    Or I can only create another bean for a webservice and cannot modify the
    original one?You might create web service with existing sources and select you bean. New web services with appropriate lookup method will be generated.
    All web service method, that will be exposed in web service, you
    should add itself (Pop-up menu Web Service -> Add operation)

  • Timezone Mapping Solaris - Java

    i have the following problem, for which i'm looking for
    ideas/suggestions/comments.
    i'm writing a Java client app which runs on Solaris or NT. the
    server to the client also can run either on Solaris or NT and the
    whole thing of course in a mixed mode (Client = Solaris,Server =
    NT, and viceversa).
    one of the parameters i get is the current time and timezone of
    the server. my client app is supposed to work with these, ie when
    showing date and time info, it is supposed to be based on the
    server date and time(zone).
    i know how to use Date/Calendar/TimeZone et al but i can't figure
    how to map the timezone info i get from Solaris and NT into the
    Java timezone.
    has anybody out there done this/experience/knows somebody who
    does/where to look at/...
    any info appreciated,
    thomas

    Hi
    I have not tried it, but you may try the getDefault() of the getTimeZone()
    methods in Java to get the TimeZone object. I dont think you need to
    worry about the underlying Operating system.
    Let me know if it helps.

    can you please check with the data which was sent yesterday and run the interface , if it is working then i guess in the latest data u are getting the queue values with the more occurance, thats why u r getting this error.
    may be u r getting more ID values in ServiceAcknowledgement Node where ID element would be having less occurance.

  • Java.util.Map and null key

    Hi,
    For information, according to the implementation, it is possible to put and get a null key when using a map.
    The null key can be added and retrieved when using a HashMap, an exception is thrown for a TreeMap.

    The documentation for java.util.Map states:
    Some map implementations have restrictions on the keys and values they may contain. For example, some implementations prohibit null keys and values, and some have restrictions on the types of their keys. Attempting to insert an ineligible key or value throws an unchecked exception, typically NullPointerException or ClassCastException.The documentation for java.util.TreeMap.put() states:
    Throws:
    NullPointerException - if the specified key is null and this map uses natural ordering, or its comparator does not permit null keysSo a Map generally may or may not support null keys and/or values and the decision is up to the concrete implementation. TreeMap states that it doesn't support null keys, unless a Comparator is used that permits null keys.

  • Throw message mapping exception

    Hi All,
    In message mapping, I am using User defined function for validating 2 fields of the input file. Through this funtion, I want to throw an message mapping exception incase the validation fails.
    Can anybody let me know, how can we forcefully throw an exception using java program.
    Thanks in advance,
    Ashish.

    Hi,
      You can use something as an incoming schema to validate, see this weblog and at last screen shot you see the result of validations,
    /people/jacob.vandborg/blog/2005/11/29/schema-validation-of-incoming-message
    You can also see a much detailed validation document here,
    https://www.sdn.sap.com/irj/servlet/prt/portal/prtroot/docs/library/uuid/99593f86-0601-0010-059d-d2dd39dceaa0
    i think you donot need at this level but just for understanding, (This is for incoming file validations)
    Or
    you may also use node functions to check if values are coming or not, like exists, and if the value do not exist send a blank space to prevent runtime mapping exceptions,
    /people/sravya.talanki2/blog/2005/12/08/message-mapping-simplified-150-part-ii     point 6
    All this can be tried,
    All the best,
    Anirban.

  • Servlet java.util.Map Help

    It's been a while since I have written any code and I am having an issue getting back into it.
    I am currently working on creating servlet to pass info from all my forms to my business logic. However, I am having an issue with getting the data. This may be a topic for a different forum, but I figured I would ask here.
    I tested out the servlet with the getParameter() method, and I can get the values. However, when I try to use the java.util.Map, I get blank values.
    I think the issue may be that I forgot how to use the Map object. Here is my code:
    out.println("<html>");
    out.println("<head>");
    out.println("<title>Servlet CalCartController</title>");
    out.println("</head>");
    out.println("<body>");
    for (int i = 0; i < formParamsMap.size(); i++) {
    Map.Entry entry = (Map.Entry) keyValuePairs.next();
    String key = (String)entry.getKey();
    String value = (String)entry.getValue();
    out.println(value);
    out.println("<h1>Servlet CalCartController </h1>");
    out.println("</body>");
    out.println("</html>");

    hacktorious wrote:
    OK, so if I replace the loop with the following:
    String firstName = (String)formParamsMap.get("firstName");
    out.println(firstName);
    this gives a blank result.If firstName is an actual parameter, it's probably throwing an exception, and you're swallowing it or otherwise not seeing it. I would expect a ClassCastException if the map contained "firstName".

  • Java.lang.ClassNotFound Exception whenever I include .send()

    Everything runs fine, but when I add the .send(message); [it is in bold] I get a java.lang.ClassNotFound Exception.
    It still compiles, it just won't allow me to launch the program in the emulator. If I take that one piece of code out, everything runs fine again. I've been messing with it, and searching for a long time in an attempt to solve the problem but I've yet to come across a solution.
    I'm also using Bluej

  • Java.lang outofmemory exception in IR

    Hi
       We are on XI 3.0 SP13 and involved in creating a message mapping. We have a big XCBL PO structure as the target - and while we do the mapping effort, every now and then, we get a java.lang outofmemory exception ( display error ) when we save the mapping.
    I notice that my CPU util is 100% and is taken up by javaw.exe.  I have a 1.6 G RAM desktop - but still face this problem. Any suggestions as to how to overcome this memory problem ? Am I missing any setting in my desktop ?? Or do we have to live with this problem since the target structure is a generic/big structure ??
    Thank you in advance for your time.

    Hi
    actually, this problem has nothing to do with the server at all. Also paging size and your desktop ram do not really matter. By default IB starts with the parameter -Xmx512M, what means that Java gets maximum 512M of RAM. You can change it saving JNLP file to your local file system and changing there this argument to -Xmx 800M or -Xmx 1024M.
    The second way is to reduce schema sizes. Usually there are a lot of "annotation" and "documentation" tags. They can be easily removed withoud damaging the mapping(the only problem that in design time you'll not see a documentation for fields). If you want to go this way, you can tell me and I'll find out how it can be done by some tool. Because we had this problem with other customers and as I remember there were some tool made for this purpose.
    Although it might help to install the latest SP, because there were made a number of changes to reduce a memory consumption for Message Mapping tool

  • Java Null Pointer Exception while Importing a Table to IS

    Hello All,
    I am trying to import a table into IS and receiving a JAVA Null Pointer Exception. The table is in a Teradata database and I am able to import other tables belonging to the same schema.I get the Java error only while trying to import this one particular table. The DBA has confirmed that the table belongs to the schema/owner I am using. In any case, it seems more of a application error than a database level error. Can anyone provide any insight? Thank you in advance.

    hi Keerthi,
    thank you.
    i tried with below code but still unsuccesfully
         +     oaDFF = (OADescriptiveFlexBean)oawebbean.findIndexedChildRecursive("ActFlexField");+
    oapagecontext.writeDiagnostics(this, "Niccal: i got DFF handle", 1);
    OAMessageTextInputBean mtib = (OAMessageTextInputBean)oaDFF.findChildRecursive("ActFlexField0");
    oapagecontext.writeDiagnostics(this, "Niccal: before if", 1);
    i am able to print 1° comment line but not second. so i think it's something wrong getting the segment handle.
    anyway i'm not able to reach your suggested if statement because execution stops before.
    Infact, if i comment line :OAMessageTextInputBean mtib = (OAMessageTextInputBean)oaDFF.findChildRecursive("ActFlexField0");
    page doesn't give error and saves data.
    any suggestion appreciated,
    thanx,
    N

    Hi,
    I am getting following error while building the
    source code.whose source code? If it's yours, you'd better look at where you are defining and using Map. The error code tells you exactly what's wrong.
