Hi i can only seem to find Gel back covers anyone know where i can buy a hard cover for the back?, Someone on Ebay does E-cell but i wasn't happy with qaulity looked sprayed. if you see one be appreciated thanks

Regarding your concern, we checked that your phone is not compatible with Nokia CK-7W accessory. That is the main reason why you are having a hard time connecting those two with each other. However, we have identified that there are some carkits that you can use with your phone.
Listed below are the said compatible carkits:
- CK-300
- CK-25W
- CK-600

Case for a Nokia Asha 300

Hi all,
My mother has a new Nokia Asha 300 and she wants a case for it.

Does anyone know where I can get a decent case for the phone?

So far i've only seen one reputable UK online store selling the official cases for the Asha 300.

With it being a new model it may take a few more weeks for it to become more widely available and cheaper.
Other than this you'll have to take the gamble of buying a cheap 3rd party case at the moment.

The theme developer decides which icons the theme replaces and which it doesn't.
However, the theme editor tool may have restrictions in that it does not know of, or allow to change all icons. The theme editor is platform version specific, and does not know of all the individual apps of every phone variant based on a particular platform version. If the theme editor is not aware of all the icons, then the theme developer using the tool has no way of changing it, either.

I have tried to find the answer to my question here but was not successful.
I am going to buy a Nokia Asha 300 phone soon in the UK but I need it with Polish settings. I know this device does not support this language by defaul if bought in England so is there any way to install Polish language on it?

No, that is not possible.
With a Windows Phone, you would be able to add additional languages from within the menu. With a Nokia Series 40 like your Nokia 300, the set of languages it tied to the currect firmware product-code. Consequently, if you swap the whole firmware and install one for another product code, then, yes, you are able to do so. This can be done with cracked tools on the Internet, or officially at your local Nokia Care point. Consequently, it might be easier to ask an acquaintance to bring a phone from Poland.

Nokia Asha 300 Telephone area code on main screen?

Can anyone tell me if I can have the telephone area code visible on the main screen on a Nokia Asha 300.
Previous Nokia's I have owned have allowed me to do this but I can't seem to find If I can or how to do it on this one.

I am just wandering if the SIM card from a Nokia Asha 300 will fit in newer models ie Lumia, N series etc?
i am stuck on a contract until November next year with Virgin but they will not upgrade and i find the Asha unsuitable for my needs. need a full screen smartphone, and dont want to buy one off ebay unless I can guarantee the SIM will work.

The Asha 300 takes a standard sized sim cards but most modern phone now take a micro sim like most of the Lumia range.
If you want to switch to a Lumia, for example the Lumia 520 you will either need to get your sim cut down or swapped for a micro sim. Most phone shops have cutters or you can buy them yourself for around £5 online. Also many networks will supply micro sims for free without loss of number or credit even if you are mid contract.

Caller I.D Nokia Asha 300

Hi, I have a Nokia Asha 300. When I make calls, I can see the call I.D in my call log, but when I receive calls they come up as private number even when the number is stored in my contact list, any suggestions.

Possible reason is that your carrier has disabled caller id (CLIP) service on your number. Contact them and inquire about the situation. In most cases this is a problem with the carrier and not the phone.

I live in New Zealand and I am trying to purchase a new Nokia Asha 300. However because Telecom Have decied not to stock it anymore, I cannot get one anywhere. Can anyone suggest where I might be able to Purchase one without to much hassle?

i have a nokia asha 300 and i wanted to know if there is any dangers of running a bigger battery in the phone?

Just make sure the battery requires the same input voltage and outputs the same power to the phone as does your older battery..
Be advised, the battery may also won't fit properly and you may experience issues with phone getting turned off by itself or freezing.

Hello Rack0 - unfortunately not, for whatever reason, the phone doesn't show when I go to Open in Finder and I can find no helpful list of actions to take when I did a search for this problem on google.
probably because the OS is so old :-) 10.5.8
I may have to wave goodbye to the photos or else send in a memory card with the phone to Nokia repair, throw myself on their mercy and ask them to transfer the files before they delete them .......... thanks for relying

I think only with themes, you can change the colours and look of your home screen.
Select Menu > Settings and Themes.
Select Select theme > Themes and a theme from the list.
or try downloading more themes from Nokia Store.
