Not able to fetch value of the field

Hi
I have created a page with some details
Now I am trying to fetch the value of particular field in the page and Iam passing into a procedure as In parameter
when I am trying to fetch the value I am using

when I am reading the value it is showing null
Can any body guide me In this kind of situation

You cannot get the value of MessageStyledText item like that. Check the logic of the code which populates value in the messagStyledText item. If there is a VO attribute involved then it would be easy to read the same attribute in the ProcessFormRequest. You can even pick the value from the View attribute and post it in the transaction from which you can read in the PFR. Otherwise if there are separate parameters which set the value, you check that.
Another option you can try is

//Now put in transaction.
Please pick the approach which suits you. I personally recommend the View Attribute approach.

    Are you sure it's a serial number and not a redemption code? A PSE serial number is 24 digits beginning with 1057. If you have a redemption code, here's what you need to do:

    First screen is .Sop

    Again for sop is having a selection screen and in this it is divide based on month and year seperately in two more screens.
    same for copa also....
    so pls tell me a correct solution where to correct and get values.

  • JTable cell editor ..not able to delete value in the cell

    Hello,
    I have applied Cell Editor on the JTAble. I'm able to enter value initially in the cell.
    Once I tab out of that cell, go back to the same cell, edit the value again and tab out. It still shows me old value, not the updated one.
    I'm using putClientProperty("terminateEditOnFocusLost", Boolean.TRUE) to recognise the cell value without focus lost.
    Does this cause any problem ???

  • Not able to change values in the Property Inspector

    Hello!
    Can some one please help me with this. I was working in
    Director when I noticed that all of a sudden I wasn't able to
    change the values in the property inspector, specifially the sprite
    properties such as the x and y coordinates and the width and
    height. I'll type in a value and then I will get an error sound and
    it will revert to the previous value. How can I fix this??

    I've seen the PI lock up sometimes. What usually works is to
    switch to List Viw
    Mode. Never have trouble there. Then, close Director and
    reopen. Think it's jus a
    bug that hasn't been fixed yet.

    What I have done is I have created Virtual Cube and created corresponding Function Module in Source System.
    That Function MOdule is working fine, if Data base table is small in Source System.But If data base table contains huge amount of data (millions of record), I am not able to fetch the data.
    Below is the code I have incorporated in my function module.

    In the above function Module,Internal table L_TH_MAPPING contains Info Objects from Virtual Cube and corresponding field from Underlying data base table.

    In the above function Module,Internal table L_TH_MAPPING contains Info Objects from Virtual Cube and corresponding field from Underlying data base table.
    The problem where I am facing is, in the method FETCH_PACK_DATA, initially program is trying to fetch all the recordsfrom data base table to internal table.If Data base table so lagre, this logic is not working.
    So would you please help me how to handle these kind of issues.

    That's the rules of how it works.  A request has 1 request form per resource for all users on the request.  Those fields must all be marked as available in bulk as well to be viewed if you have more than 1 user on the request.  If you need to provide different values based on the user, your best option is pre-populate adapters on the process form and use logic to populate the fields.  You will not be able to manually provide different values during the request.

  • Not able to fetch serial number in MFBF

    Hello,
    We are doing production booking through MFBF transaction and the serial number has to be enterred for each backflush.
    I want to check the serial number for validation, hence i am using user exit "ZXMRMU02" with customised code.
    I need to fetch plant and posting date from input screen and compare the posting month with serial number letter(month) if both are matching then only I should be able to do MFBF otherwise system should through an errror message that " posting is not in current month.
    The problem here is I am unable to fetch serial number from input screen (Program Name SAPLIPW1 & Screen Number 0200). however I am able to get Material , Posting dates, Plant.
    Please suggest how can we fetch serial number from input screen.
    when i go with field exit, I could fetch serial number but not able to fetch plant and posting dates which are in first screen.

    Dear Kumar,
    As per Std SAP behaviour, You can't use Serial Number Management for Goods Movement with Backflushing.When you are setting Backflush indicator as 1 always backflush in Material master system will not allow you to maintain serial number profile in work scheduling view.
    Also go thr. SAP Note No. 317455 for more clarification about using serial numbers with backflushing.

  • How to give values to the field in free selection via call transaction?

    Hi,
    I'm using call transaction for transaction "FAGLB03". And i'm passing the values for the fields company code, account number and year using the respective parameter id. But i need to pass the value for Profit center also, which is in the free selction button (near to variant button). I have tried by passing the value thorugh the parameter id. but it is not taking up. The code is as follows:
        SET PARAMETER ID 'ACC' FIELD lv_saknr.
        SET PARAMETER ID 'BUK' FIELD lv_rbukrs.
        SET PARAMETER ID 'GJR' FIELD lv_ryear.
        SET PARAMETER ID 'PRC' FIELD lv_prctr.
        CALL TRANSACTION 'FAGLB03' AND SKIP FIRST SCREEN.
    Here the value of profit center is not filling up in the screen.
    If anybody have any clue please replay back.

    ... WITH FREE SELECTIONS texpr

    Note that I have assigned the same country code 'AU' for the Countries 'Australia' & 'Austria'. But, when we assign 'AU' to 'Austria', the system asks question as below:

    Do you want to delete it from the existing group and assign it to the current group instead?
                       Continue       Cancel
    Though choose any of the option, I am not able to assign 'AU' to 'Austria'.

    Here is the reason i need to do this:
    The data is loaded by DTP in process chain. Overlaping requests are deleted. But, iIn some cases requests with the same selection options  need not to be deleted. My idea was to change selection options in Manage(infocube) with Abap program without changing selection options in DTP filter,  so that the system would not recognize requests as "overlaping requests".
    So, where is the information about shown in the field Selection Options is stored? In which tables?

  • PCA query not able to fetch data

    HI All, I have installed PCA Business content cube and all the queries available in the Business content relavant to the PCA cube. I have loaded one quarter worth of data. The Profit center - Balance sheet and Profit center - Income statement queries are not able to fetch any data. I am able to execute te query but the report has no data in it.
    Can any one suggest me if there is any thingthat I can do or any ways to dedbug this query.

    Are you executing this query "wide open" or you using Characteristic Restrictions and/or Variables that could be filtering out your data? Did you try executing the query using tcode RSRT via 'Execute + Debug'? That may help. Also, take a look at the source InfoProvider in LISTCUBE using the same criteria as the query to see if any data retrieve via that method.
