Not appearing the forms after login in to EBS

Hi All,
After login in to EBS clicking on any form based application foam not appearing through browser just it says done.From there its not getting any thing error also.
But where as i am opening like this http://localhost.com:8000/dev60cgi/f60cgi i am getting.
Even i ran the adadmin and autoconf also on both tier.Recently i have upgraded from Jint to Java plug in.
please let me know if any one has solution for this problem.

Recently i have upgraded from Jint to Java plug inTo what version? Please mention the Note ID you followed.
Enable trace and see if you get more details.

How to gone the form after login to the application in smp2.3 hwc?

Hi All,
I developed an application in that user has to login the application, based on the login user details are shown in a listview.
The whole thing is working fine, but when the user logged in the application, then the login screen has not visible. for that i wrote a code in custom.js
if (screenKey == 'Start' && destScreenKey == 'Details') {
document.getElementById(screenKey+"Form").style.visibility = "hidden";
Here the controls in that form are not visible, but the screen is visible.
How to handle that?

Hi Midhun,
I created an MBO, i.e., UserDetails. In that user's details like username, password, first name, lastname, date of birth ete. If the user logged in the application i am showing these details in a listview.
My first screen is "Start" in that username and password editboxes are there, and when the user clicked on log in button i gave the online request to that MBO.
The query i wrote for login is
SELECT x.* FROM UserDetails x
WHERE x.username = :Uname_P
AND x.pwd = :Pwd_P
Then it is moved to next scree i.e., "Details" , in that screen i am showing the details in listview.
After that the user click on back button, it is going to "Start" screen.
In that screen i have the username and password fileds, even the user logged in the application, when click on back button it is showing the start screen. I want to hide that screen
So i wore the code
if (screenKey == 'Start' && destScreenKey == 'Details') {
document.getElementById(screenKey+"Form").style.visibility = "hidden";
But it is hiding the Controls which is present in the Start screen.
I want to hide the whole "Start" Screen, when the user clicked on back button it should not show the start screen.

Please check whether you have any errors in the database log file or not.
I could not find any error regarding the issue. Please give me step by step if you can assist to sort out
the issue. I have no much experience regarding such issue. So I need more clearance and step by step instructions.Please rename Apache log files, restart the services, then reproduce the issue and check the log files.
Also, please check if you have any errors in Jinitiator/JRE console window.

hi all my boss has just got himself a nice new mac and wants to connect it on to my windows domain at work, no problems there it’s all connect fine, one thing we done was to map a few of our network drives on our domain so he can easily load them to his mac, works great when it’s on the domain however when he goes home and logs in for each mapped drive it throws up a window saying it can’t connect or when it is connect opens up every drive, even after disabling them at login, now on the apple website the text reads "if you don’t want an item's window to be visible after login, select hide. (Hide does not apply to servers, which always appear in the finder after login), does anyone know any work around that can maybe solve this or point me in the direction where I can find one.

Reboot the machine holding Command and r keys down, you'll boot into Lion Recovery Partition
In there will be Disk Utility, use that to select your Lion OS X Partition and Repair Permissions.
After that is done reboot the machine and see if you can log in.
If not repeat the above steps to get into Lion Recovery, get online and reinstall Lion again, it will overwrite the installed version and hopefully after that it wil work.
Reboot and try again.
If not follow my steps to create a Snow Leopard Data Recovery drive, then option boot from it and grab a copy of your files off the machine.
Then reinstall all your programs onto the external drive like setting up a new machine, then use Disk Utility to erase the entire internal boot drive (select the drive media on the far left, not the partiton slightly indented) format Option: GUID , 1 partition OS X Extended and then use Carbon Copy Cloner to clone the external to the newly formatted internal drive. Once that is finished reboot and disconnect the external drive.
Once you go that, boot into Snow Leopard and update to 10.6.8, use the AppStore and option click on Purchases and download Lion again and install.
Lots of work, but there is no Lion disks.

I installed the SAP NetWeaver 7.1 Composition Environment SP03
But in my eclipse environment does not appear the options "Web Dynpro Project" and not "Development Component Project".
That is, I can not do a Web Dynpro project
I have to do some more configuration in eclipse, for example, carry some plugin?
How to do this, please help me

         I think you are suffering from the problem below.
Problem Statement:
No Webdynpro Perspective is Visible
only perspectives available are
    Debug
    Resource(default)
    Team Synchronizing
How to Solve:
There are many ways that this kind of error can occur.
1.   It may occur due to "improper installation of NWDS"
How to Check and Resolve :    Is NWDS is displayed in intalled list in Control panel? If 'yes' then it is properly installed. If 'No' then reinstallation is needed.
2. It may occur due to "installation of Skeleton alone"
How to Check:
                                  you can check if your installation includes Web Dynpro by selecting
Help->Software Updates->Manage Configurations.
When installing Developer studio 7.1 you only get the bare eclipse installation (Skeleton). You have to add web dynpro and all, after the initial install is complete.
The installer installs the kernel of the Developer Studio. The kernel contains Eclipse and a few SAP additions, but is not equipped with the SAP features necessary for the Composition Environment. In order to install the required SAP features you have to install the SAP features.
           How to Resolve:
Updating the NWDS software will resolve the problem.
Go to Help->Software Updates->Find and Install. This will install the default SAP plugins that came with your NWDS CE 7.1 setup source and also the additional updates that are needed.

Adobe Reader XI did not save the form data (unlike previous versions). Any way to recover filled form with data from temp locations?
I was not aware that ctrl+s no longer works in reader and closed the PDF after savign it(with ctrl+s). However ,the data is lost and there seems to be no way to recover it.
I cannot find any temp files created by Reader on my system.
Also to my surprize(and shock), the reader did not even show a warning before closing the PDF. Does anybody know if/where can I recover the file from?

Hi Pat,
Are you using Adobe Reader XI? And not Acrobat. It does not ask me to save the form if there are unsaved changes.
I have used previous versions of reader for saving this form data and it did allow me to save it with ctrl+s. And those versions did prompt me to save the changes before closing.
I guess I should not have updated the reader.

Clearing the forms after default Save Button pressed

in forms 6i how to clear the form after the save button is pressed, ie the form uses default menu and smart bar. the user wants to clear the form once he selects save from the menu or after pressing the save icon...
any idea...?

try on-commit trigger on form level through clear_form procedure but cursor remain stay on the same record
I think your requirement is that when user commits a record a new blank record appear so also add "create_record" procedure ;
.but u have to apply some logic on that trigger also it ever fires when user edit/insert/delete a record and commit;

Need to reopen the form after saving

I am developing a form for employee time sheet. I am using the ON-INSERT Trigger to insert the details of the employee. I need to reopen the form after inserting the details into table. I tried using the NEW_FORM bulit-in in POST-INSERT Trigger. but getting an error: FRM-40737 illegal restricted procedure NEW_FORM in POST_INSERT) Trigger. Can any one please how can I do this.

I need to clear the form after saving and also I made the Update Allowed property to 'NO' as client per requirement. So, every time after saving the form, I am getting an error message 'Update is not allowed on this form' . in order to avoid this message after saving I want to close this form and open it again.
Also I need to clear the datablock. where can I clear the datablock after saving it.

Master List "Master List" is not a valid e-mail address because it is not of the form user@host.

Have used Master Lists for years without issue. After today's update all I get is the above error message.

The exact error message is: XXXX is not a valid e-mail address because it is not of the form user@host. You must correct it before sending the e-mail.
This happens when your mailing list description includes several words separated by spaces.
If you choose to update to the recent version, although not ideal, these workarounds should let you use your mailing lists until a proper fix is implemented:
* While composing an email open the address book and select the list you are trying to send to, highlight all the names in the list and drag them to the To: box. This uses your existing data without modifying it.
* Replacing the blanks " " between the words in such lists' descriptions with an underscore "_". This requires modifying your mailing list(s) description(s).

Not appear the option SAP Demo News

We have a Enterprise Portal 6.0 in which it does not appear the option SAP Demo News. From which patch level is available that option? On the contrary it shows the News option, that when pressing on this, produces the following error:

The error, you are getting is: <b>No name or formula type has been put at disposal in the string of query. Syntax: XMLFormID=anyValidFormName</b>. As of my knowledge, someone might have been deleted the content ( Under Cont. Admin -> KM Content -> root -> etc). Please check the folder, there might be some problem with xml forms.

The Apple TV 2 doesn't show up under devices like the Apple TV 1, to send video and music to the Apple TV you need to use the Airplay Option which appears in the lower right corner of iTunes.

Well, I fail to understand why you want to complicate easy things, but anyway you can do that by using TEXT_IO within Forms to create text file (see Forms builder help), and UTL_FILE package to read it within Pl/Sql : you could create a stored procedure, and call it from Forms passing the file name as parameter. See UTL_FILE documentation

I think you can get Windows 7 for around $99. Install the 64bit version as the 32bit version will not be able to use all your new computer's ram if you have more than about 3.5gb.
Back up your quick books data now before the old hard drive dies. You can copy your data over to your new installation of Windows and quick books.
