"not enough memory to create CORp_PSLMalloc" error msg

Hello everybody,
I've been getting this error msg every time I try to render a 1920x1080 composition. It has particles and high-res photos, but that's about it, (no video).
I'm on a 2.4 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo with 2.5 GB 667 MHz DDR2 SDRAM... and error msg actually reads "not enough memory to create CORp_PSLMalloc" / (132 K requested, 51K available)
Can anybody please tell me if I'm not setting this render right? I'm using H.264 compression, with highest quality and frame frequency set to automatic. it's 1920x1080 16:9 with no sound...
Thank you very much for your help!

Mylenium,
Applied all masks in the photoshop files, but had the same problem, same error msg... it's strange indeed, i've been having problems with the user and the session (that i also don't quite figure out, this user has administrator rights but when I try to save files into a folder i get an error msg saying that the file is locked and i can't). Do you think it might have something to do with that? Like, AE trying to access the files but somehow having problems with that?
I'm on a Imac by the way...
Thanks a lot for your help!!

  • Not Enough Memory To Create U_memTrackedObject, after effects error

Im doing basic keying of 10 minute hdv 1080i footage, with keylight.  The background image is a 1080x1920 png still image.  My macbook handles this same project just fine everyweek.  Now my new mac pro can't do it.  20% percent into the export I receive the following errors.
"Not Enough Memory To Create U_memTrackedObject, (3k requested, 0 available)" then "not enough memory to create sound buffer," and sometimes "unable to allocate space for a 712x 402 image buffer."  And after the errors appear, they will not go away unless i force quit the program.
I've adjusted the secret setting and some other settings to trouble shoot but just can't figure it out.
    Please Help!   Thanks guys!

    What the F???
    SvK

i was talking to someone at frankfurt about this (possibly logic had crashed on something we were looking at - i don't remember) and they said error messages like that were for the developers. the fact you saw the error message yourself was in itself a bug.
i don't know for sure, but i think you are seeing some kind of bug relating to memory management. try deleting history and reorganizing memory if you get this error a lot.

  • Getting " Not enough memory for the operation error " in BOE

    Hi,
    We are using BOE 11.0.
we try to schedule a new report with multiple database logins for testing in BOE. When we run the report we are getting error like "Not enough memory for the operation error"
The same report has been executed successfully when we run using Crystal reports developer. The report is fectching less than 10K records from all the databases together.
Please let me know which is causing the issue and also let me know is there any limit in the number of databases connecting for a single report.
many thanks in advance for all your help.
    Cheers,
    Suri ;-)

    Hi Sarthan,
Sorry. I'm new to BOE. We know only scheduling the reports creating folders etc. :-)
I've seen one parameter "Maximum Cache Size Allowed (KBytes)" and the value for this parameter is 5000.
If we change it to a big number whether we can solve the issue ? Please suggest.
    Cheers,
    Suri ;-)

  • "Not enough memory in target location" error in de...

When I try to download and "save to device" any files from any website of any size, I am receiving the "Not enough memory in target location" error. It's very frustrating . To reproduce I only need to do a "long tap" on the google image on the default google page and select "save image as" and select any location (eg. documents, root (MyDocs), create new folder) and I get the error. Once the error is displayed, most of the time I can't get rid of it and need to do an "End current task" to close the browser.
I have checked the output of a "df -h" and there is PLENTY of space on all volumes, including rootfs (95.1M Free) and /dev/mmcblk0p1 (25.9G Free!).
I've tried flushing the '/home/user/.mozilla/microb' directory and deleting the '/home/user/.browser' file also.
I can transfer files from my PC connected in Mass Storage mode with no problem, I can also create directories and files from X-Term also with no problem.
The only information I can find on this error is related to rootfs being out of space when trying to install an app or update...but this is not my problem.
I have a feeling it could be a permissions issue, anyone have any suggestions?

Hi cpitchford. I have a similar problem. I can't save a bookmarks in the MicroB explorer. The system says "Not enough memory". I read your post and send you the screenshot for the xterm. Thank you for your time. Let me know if you need more informartion about the issue

My comp is a 1280x720 30 second spot. Not too complex
of an animation with not that many layers (I know that
sounds vague). I've purged the comp and even tried the
"Secret" option in preferences to purge every 3 frames.
Keep getting this error message when I render. I am
running an Intel Xeon CPU 2.8ghz dual with 2.75 gb of
    RAM with AE 7
    Thanks

Mmh, yes, indeed that very likely would be to blame on Quicktime. You probably had better luck with CS3 which handles H.264 natively via MediaCore. My guess that it is simply some odd allocation of the compression which could be fixed, probably even a simple export from QT Pro to the same format. Do the files correctly play in QT player? As an alternative to QT Pro I recommend attempting to run it thru SUPER©, which is free. Perhaps this will repair the streams and prevent the errors. If not, you will have to shelve out some money or find otehr ways of converting your footage, I'm afraid.

  • ***!!!!! *Not Enough Memory, And Itunes Store Error Has Occured- try later*

    I get this error message:
"We Could Not Complete Your itunes Store Request. There is not enough memory available.
There was an error in the itunes store. Please try again later."
    When I try to:
    * Listen to a preview of a song in the itunes store
    * Watch a Movie or TV program I BOUGHT from the itunes store
    * Or try to download my ALREADY PAID FOR songs from the itunes store
No matter WHAT I do... this shows up. I've updated everything there is to update (yes, including the Quicktime shiz), and am running itunes on a BRAND SPANKING NEW macbook... the best you can get... so I highly doubt it's a hardware problem in the computer itself (i.e...not enough memory on comp).
IF ANYBODY knows what to do... PLEASE HELP ME!!!!!!! Of course Apple won't write back with anything of value to this, nor do they know what to do when I try contacting them by phone.
    sooooooooooooooooo annoying!!!!!!!!
    thanks

    Hello, everyone,
I just spent almost 2 hours with Apple support team to figure out what this problem is and they never heard about it before. Apparently, some cache files build up and something gets corrupt and affects the memory for iTunes to run the purchased songs. The solution we found that worked in my computer is:
    1. restart it
    2. once you hear the loud sound of the computer starting, press down "shift" and hold it. This will deactivate great part of everything running in the computer.
    3. stop holding "shift" when you see the image of the spinning wheel, right below the apple symbol in the middle of the screen.
    4. Log in. Let the computer fully start.
    5. Once it's done, restart your computer again, but this time don't hold any key.
    6. Log in. Let the computer fully start. Now, try your iTunes with a purchased song. It should play any song regularly now.
Hope it helps. I was having the same problem since New Year's Eve but Kevin, from Apple (California), was the best and figured it out this morning!
    Cheers!

  • Warning: "not enough memory to create shadow map vertice"

    Hi,
First of all I am not too technically minded and not a great expert at after effects so keep this in mind when answering
I will post as much info to give a comprehensive idea of my setup and issue.
What I am basically asking is if I have after effects setup correctly for the spec I am running to achieve maximum benefit and performance?
And Is this perhaps a project composition error?
I have an after effects project that fails about 2.5 hours into rendering with this warning:
Now just a bit of background. I had 4gb and have upgraded to 8gb. The reason I upgraded was due to this error however I still have same issue (to be honest I dont see any improvement with ram previews etc).
This is my current PC spec:
I have changed virtual memory to double the RAM which I believe is what is recommended?
Now this is what after effects looks like on start up: Should it not utalise the 8gb?
When rendering it also just says using 4gb also:
Here are my multi processing and memory settings:
I hope this is detailed enough for someone to troubleshoot and help me out.
    Kind Regards,
    jmcall10

CS4 is 32bit. It will never use more than 4GB. Basic computer math. Simply consider turning off MP rendering to free up more RAM for the primary render instance. Shadow map size defaults to "comp size", but of course you may be able to reduce it. Check the advanced comp settings. Beyond that simply render to an image sequence so you can resume from the point of the crash/ hang without losing all your rendered stuff, then assemble the iamges to a clip file in a second pass.

  • What is the solution to "not enough memory to create sound buffer"?

My old computer system crashed and I replaced it with a much faster one with a lot more memory however when I open my older projects into AE CS3 on my new system I can no longer hear the audio when I render my projects via ram?
I don't recall what the settings were on the old system but I didn't have this problem before and the old system was very slow compared to the new one.  My old system only had 2Gs of ram and again did not have this problem.  New new system has 12Gs ram. Even if I select a 30 second piece of video on stage it doesn't play back with audio however I see the audio levels moving.
    Anyone have any ideas?
    Thank you.

I checked the audio preview duration and it is: 0:00 08:00.  What would you suggest it be?
If you have sufficient RAM, you can ramp it up to 30 seconds without risk. It is in any case only relevant whzen multiple audio sources need to be "mixed", i.e. you have overlapping fades and such. With only a single source, AE will attempt audio passthrough, so disabling the sync might have freed up that part. Presumably your audio outputs are tied to another component (e.g. HDMI audio) or the audio hardware itself is set up so as to spit out surround sound or something like that, so the individual ports are synchronized by default. Turning it of simply should decouple the channels and give you a normal stereo behavior. Probably not the "clean" solution as intended by the audio hardware vendor (I'm sure you are supposed to flip some switch in their multimedia center software panel), but if it works, noone can argue success.

  • Not enough memory to create DVD

What do I do if I don't have 20 GB to create my iMovie in iDvd? iPhoto and iTunes take up 50 GB together and I don't see anything else to delete.

I suppose you could buy another hard drive? And, if you keep all your media on a 2nd drive and your OS and apps on another, you will see a performance increase!

Its nearly not possible for me to open any 3d objects i created in 3ds MAX, sometimes its able to open a simple 4 sides box, but that was it. No change to get something just remotely complexer than that box. Always the same "not enough memory to open Layer Error. It not even trys, i geht the error msg in about 10 ms after klicking.
I tried every preference setting i saw here on the forums. Turn open GL on / off, change the disc, more / less memory or VRAM, change opengl parameters and so on and so on. Im getting a little bit depressed from watching online tutorials where everyone is able to import even pretty complex polygon models into CS5, but not me....
    Please Help

Check your export settings in MAX. I bet you are using features that are not supported by legacy 3DS files and that custom, MAX-only usable data is making things go haywire.

  • Not enough memory to manipulate image

I created a report to print out 10 graphs(control image).
But the program gives error:not enough memory to manipulate image. I did the same in other programs, I have the same number of graphs, there was no problem.
what's the real reason of this error?
I attach my printing routine here.
    Attachments:
    print_graphs.vi ‏57 KB

I seperated the report into two(each with 5 graphs).the error persisted. then I open some other Labview program and run it with printing command. it did not print any thing, nor did it give any error.
then when I ended the program and shut down LABVIEW, it gave out a warnning said: internal error occurred.
I did not know what exacly the error is. I did try to to report the error to NI. and after that when I reopen my program (which gave out "not enough memory to manipulate images" error), and re-run it. it worked and I could print. the error did not appear this time. But I'm not sure if it would come out again later.

  • Not enough memory to complete operation

I've looked through the forums for the "not enough memory to complete operation" error and despite following the advice I found, the error still occurs.
I'm using LabVIEW 2012 to try and continuously monitor our system, recording temperature, power, etc vs time (values obtained from USB-6008 DAQ).  The data being saved to file, is done every 60 seconds using a small array (no problems here).  The typical run/time memory allocation to LabVIEW is about 180MB (4GB RAM on computer).
The issue I feel is related to our wish to display this data on graphs for extended periods of time.  The current iteration of the code works as follows.
    1) we have 2 XY graphs with 2 plots each.
    2) for each plot, I am initializing clusters of 2 arrays of 100,000 (XY pairs) which are wired to shift registers.  I know this is larger than can be displayed on a graph but I am currently more concerned with reducing the number of data copies.
    3)  Every 10th data point is added into the arrays using an In Place Element Unbundle/Bundle along with a "Replace Array Subset".  This means there are approximatly 8640 points per day. (A single day is the shortest time span typically viewed)
    4)  For two plots on an XY graph, two clusters are combined in an array (using Build Array).  I think this is my problem right here.  Since everytime I update the graphs Labview has to allocate memory for the 4 XY plots. ( Am I correct here?)
Decimating the data further when looking over multiple days will reduce the amount written to the plots.  However this operation creates data copies.  Is it worthwhile in this case?
Instead of initializing 4 clusters (1 for each plot) and combining into arrays later, would it be better to initialize Array of cluster of arrays (2 plots per graph) and update the data by "index / unbundle / replace array subset / bundle replace array subset" series of operations?
    Solved!

    Hooovahh wrote:
But what I think is more important is your middle loop is unbounded in size for its arrays.  Memory will continue to grow until it crashes.  You removed the write VI but I'm guessing you are essentially overwritting the old file with all the same data but with 1 extra data point.  Why not just write that one extra data point by appending to the existing file?  Look at the Write To Spreadsheet which shows how to append to file (it is an optional input).
If you'll notice the section where I comment that the save VI is deleted, there is a null array wired to the shift register.  While this probably isn't the best practice, the array builds to 60, appended to the text file, and overwritten with the null array.  This is to avoid opening/closing the file every second.
The other array there stores power and time for every data point when the sun is up for the day (probably near 50,000 data points).  This is done to calculate the days insulation by integration.  This array could probably stand some improvement using an initialized array.  (i got tunnel vision on the other part of the code and missed this).
In regards to the graphs containing multiple days worth of data to be viewed at any time, yes this is a requirement (the more the better).  This is for monitoring a solar array at our University and, once free from bugs, will be linked to a web page using the Web Server.  So individuals may view data within the past 1,2, or even 3 weeks.  Normally, I would just have a separate VI for viewing data when desired but 24/7 access to view the updated data is a requirement.
Am I correct in that the Build Arrays (just prior to the graphs) makes a data copy of each cluster?  Could it be this large data copy that's the cause of the error?  My understanding from other posts is that this error is generally linked to non-continuous memory allocation for arrays/clusters.

  • Flash CS3 says"Error creating Flash movie...not enough memory available."have 100GB of virtual mem

With large .fla files I often can't get Flash to output .swf files.  Usually I get the message "Error creating Flash movie.  There was not enough memory available."  Sometimes though Flash looks as if it has finished publishing (although slightly too quickly to have really done it), and then there has not been a .swf file created.
Sometimes it's simply a matter of restarting Flash and trying again a few times until Flash decides to cooperate.  But now I have a file that just seems like it will never output.   My computer has 3 GB of RAM and 100 GB of virtual memory.  The .fla file is 152 MG and the .swf would probably be about 20-25 MB.
If there is a workaround in CS3, that would be great.  If not, I would upgrade to CS5, if I knew that it would not have the same problem.
I was told by at least two people at Adobe support that the problem has gone away with CS5, but I downloaded the CS5 trial version, and it will not output a .swf of my project.  In this case it doesn't give the error message, but just fails silently.

Has this memory limitation been fixed in CS4 or CS5?  I have to say, I'm geting really fed up with having to
spend hours coaxing Flash to output .swfs.  Is there a reason that it can't use the
3MB of Ram available to it?
