Now that I have iTunes Match, I want to free up space on my Macbook Air - how do I do this without losing the songs in iTunes Match?
Can I just delete songs or do I need to save them on an external hard-drive?

I store all y music on an external harddrive and update my ipod from that normally. However at the moment I dont have it but would like to put songs that i have added to my itunes and are stored on my computer onto my ipod touch. will i lose any of my stuff?When you open iTunes and plug in iPhone (iPod) to computer, it appear in the left bar. Then just simply right click on you iPhone (iPod) and choose Transfer Purchases, this should copy your purchased items to your computer.

Duplicate your book and try to change the theme in the copy. Chnaging the theme may change the layout of your text fileds. That is why you need the copy to be able to compare the pages before and after.
Ctrl-click the book in the Source list and select "Duplicate".
Click the "Change Theme" button in the upper right corner of the Book pane, make sure, you have the same theme selected and the same size. Click Hardcover. -
having a problem with dates when I send my numbers doc to excel. dates are all out and that they have to cut and paste individual entries onto their spreadsheet. Any idea how I can prevent this.

When I export from Numbers to Excel and open the result with LibreOffice, the dates are correctly treated.
To be precise, dates after 01/01/1904 are correctly treated. dates before 01/01/1904 are exported as strings but, as it's flagged during the export process, it's not surprising.

I would like to duplicate the folders and apps that I have set up on my iPhone to my iPad. Is there a quick way of doing this without going through the whole process again manually?
You can restore your iPad with your iPhone backup but items that are iPhone only will not transfer. It should recreate all your folders. It can't hurt anything to try.
