NullPointerException in JhsDataAction.setHasChangesFlag after some requests
Hi all,
Two applications developed with JHS 10.1.19 have been working for more than 1 year but we don't know why, from two weeks at now, they crashes afer some requests showing this trace:

Anyone has any idea about what's the problem? As far as I know, we haven't change any config at OS or Oracle AS
Thanks
Carlos
We have resolved this problem. The connection was being dropped because the connection pool software (PoolMan) has a connection timeout variable. It appear from code inspection that this timeout variable defaults to 10 minutes.

i update my 3gs to 6.1 from 4.1 after installation of software it shows connect to itunes or connect to wi-fi when i connect it to itunes it shows the iphone tab in itunes bt after some times it say we are unable to complete your request please help me
That would be the wireless number assigned by AT&T when the purchaser of the iPhone signed up as a customer with AT&T. If neither you nor your uncle ever activated the iPhone with AT&T, click the "non customer" button.
Note that jailbreaking often renders it impossible to get an iPhone officially unlocked, so don't be surprised if it fails. If it does, then you may have to buy a new iPhone, this time one that is officially unlocked.

Get Response after HTTP Request
Is it possible to display the response after a http request in forms? the response comes from a kind of reader which sends the reading-result as parameters after a request.
Hello Henry,
We are firing the CREATE/POST operation in the BATCH mode exactly with the same type of PAYLOAD what you have shared here and we are correctly getting response.
1st operation was successful and we have got content with 201 Created Status Code.
2nd operation failed and got 400 bad request with some error.
3rd operation was successful and we have got the content with 201 Created Status Code.
I am unable to replicate your problem in my case. Everything is working fine for me.
Your problem is strange.

BC4j/JSP Application not responding after some time - when deployed on 9ias BC4j/JSP
Hi,
We are using BC4j/jsp application on 9ias. The application is not responding
after some time. We have installed 9ias on PIII(384MB RAM). We tried to accesses
with 10 users, and server is not responding to BC4J/JSP application.
However the server could able to publish the JSP pages with standerad JDBC code even after that.
Please....help us.........
many many thanks in advance<BLOCKQUOTE><font size="1" face="Verdana, Arial">quote:</font><HR>Is there any mechanism that cleans up these connections (back down to the initial or some other minimum I would guess) or do they hang around until either the app server or database shuts down?<HR></BLOCKQUOTE>
There is currently no mechanism for reducing the connection pool size after a period of high activity. Recently this has been frequently requested and as such will be implemented in the next production release.
<BLOCKQUOTE><font size="1" face="Verdana, Arial">quote:</font><HR>We have verified this in manual testing. However, when the load tool script exits it doesn't seem to release resources. We know this because we keep seeing our database connections go up and up as more tests are run. Further, we also seem to see more than one connection per "virtual user". For example, when I connect 5 users to the app in manual testing, I get 5 connections. But, when we run a test using the tool, we get 395 database sessions for 200 users. We are having a bit of difficulty understanding why the behavior is different.<HR></BLOCKQUOTE>
Assuming that the you are performing your manual testing against the same instance of the application on which you are performing your load testing, I would assume that the connections are being released to the pool at the end of the request. One possible reason for the approximate 2:1 ratio between connections and virtual users may be BC4J's use of internal connections. What version of BC4J are you using?
BC4J requires an internal connection to support state management and spill to disk. The internal connections are pooled with the transaction connection and only held for the duration of the persistence operation. However, if the web server is very busy then a large number of synchronous persistence requests may be received which would explain the eventual 2:1 ratio in the pool's high water mark.
If the user start times and think times are staggered in order to reduce the incidence of synchronous persistence requests does the ratio of connections to web sessions stabilize at some lower number (i.e. 1.5:1) -
Application unable to connect to databse after some time
The problem we are facing is that after some time the application seems to be unable to connect to the database. The only way we have been able to clear the issue is by re starting the application servers. Below is the information I see in my logs any help would be appreciated, thanks

Socket connection dies after some time being idle w/o firing event
Hi,
I use this code to connecto my server from my Client
if (socket == null){
try{
if (pwd.length > 0)
System.out.println("opening connection...to "+host+" at port "+port);
socket = new Socket(host, port);
toServer = new ObjectOutputStream(socket.getOutputStream());
fromServer = new ObjectInputStream(socket.getInputStream());
System.out.println("Connection established!");
fireClientEvent(new ClientEvent(this, ClientEvent.CONNECTION_ESTABLISHED, ""));
this.connected = true;
Hashtable<String, String> table = new Hashtable<String, String>();
table.put("action", "login");
table.put("key", convertToString(pwd));
sendObject(table);
}catch(IOException e){
try{
if (socket != null)
socket.close();
System.out.println("Error while connecting... Server does not exist!");
this.connected = false;
fireClientEvent(new ClientEvent(this, ClientEvent.SERVER_DOES_NOT_EXIST, getHost()+":"+getPort()));
}catch(IOException x){
System.out.println("I/O ERROR @ CLIENT CONNECT!");
removeAllListeners();
x.printStackTrace();
}And this is how my server responds to client requests:
public void run()
ServerSocket server = null;
Socket socket = null;
Hashtable<String, String> ClientInfo = new Hashtable<String, String>();
try{
server = new ServerSocket(getPort());
//listen for connections
while (!stopServer)
try{
System.out.println("Starting Server at port: "+getPort());
socket = server.accept();
ClientInfo.put("remoteip", socket.getInetAddress().toString());
fireServerEvent(new ServerEvent(ClientInfo, ServerEvent.CONNECTION_REQUESTED, null));
ThreadedSocket tsocket = getThreadedSocket(socket);
tsocket.addSocketListener(this);
tsocket.setMaxSolvingTime(maxSolvingTime);
Sockets.add(tsocket);
executor.execute(tsocket);
fireServerEvent(new ServerEvent(ClientInfo, ServerEvent.CONNECTION_ESTABLISHED, null));
}catch (IOException ioe){
fireServerEvent(new ServerEvent(ClientInfo, ServerEvent.UNEXPECTED_CONNECTION_ERROR, null));
exceptionThrown(ioe);
}catch(Exception x){
exceptionThrown(x);
}finally{
try{
server.close();
socket.close();
}catch (Exception e){
exceptionThrown(e);
}It seems that after some time (aprox. 10-15 minutes) being idle, my client gets disconnected withougt firing any event so the Server thinks the client is still connected but it does not get any messages because the client has closed the connection (I think)
Am I doing/thinking something wrong?Thanks It seems that I am doing something completely wrong.
I created this object:
package main;
import java.util.Hashtable;
import java.util.Vector;
public class SocketPinger implements Runnable {
private Vector<ThreadedSocket> sockets = null;
Hashtable<String, Object> action = new Hashtable<String, Object>();
public SocketPinger()
action.put("action", "scheduled_ping");
public SocketPinger(Vector<ThreadedSocket> socks)
this.sockets = socks;
action.put("action", "scheduled_ping");
public void run()
process();
public void process()
if (sockets != null)
for (ThreadedSocket socket : this.sockets)
try
socket.sendObject(action);
}catch(Exception e){
sockets.remove(socket);
public void setSockets(Vector<ThreadedSocket> socks)
this.sockets = socks;
}which I call with this command:
public class ThreadScheduler
private SocketPinger pinger;
private final ScheduledExecutorService scheduler = Executors.newSingleThreadScheduledExecutor();
public void activate()
pinger = new SocketPinger(Sockets);
scheduler.scheduleWithFixedDelay (pinger, 5, 10, TimeUnit.SECONDS);
public void deactivate() {
scheduler.shutdown();
}This makes the Scheduler object wake up every 10 secs and ping all the clients. This works and since then everything seemed to work fine. Today I noticed that when I shut down the client abnormaly (System.exit(0);) the server doesn't understand it. The sendObject() method works fine.
This is my ThreadedSocket with the sendObject() method:
public class ThreadedSocket extends Thread
protected Socket socket;
protected ObjectOutputStream toClient;
protected ObjectInputStream fromClient;
protected ConnectionPool Pool;
protected DBManager db;
public ThreadedSocket(Socket sock, int priority, ConnectionPool pool) throws IOException
socket = sock;
this.Pool = pool;
toClient = new ObjectOutputStream(socket.getOutputStream());
fromClient = new ObjectInputStream(socket.getInputStream());
setPriority(priority);
db = new DBManager(Pool);
public void sendMessage(String message)
try{
toClient.writeUnshared(message);
toClient.flush();
}catch(Exception e){
public void sendObject(Hashtable<String, Object> table)
try{
toClient.writeUnshared(table);
toClient.flush();
toClient.reset();
}catch(Exception e){
}and this is how I initialize the ThreadedSocket on my Server object
public void run()
ServerSocket server = null;
Socket socket = null;
Hashtable<String, String> ClientInfo = new Hashtable<String, String>();
try{
server = new ServerSocket(getPort());
//listen for connections
while (!stopServer)
try{
System.out.println("Starting Server at port: "+getPort());
socket = server.accept();
ClientInfo.put("remoteip", socket.getInetAddress().toString());
fireServerEvent(new ServerEvent(ClientInfo, ServerEvent.CONNECTION_REQUESTED, null));
ThreadedSocket tsocket = getThreadedSocket(socket);
tsocket.addSocketListener(this);
tsocket.setMaxSolvingTime(maxSolvingTime);
Sockets.add(tsocket);
executor.execute(tsocket);
fireServerEvent(new ServerEvent(ClientInfo, ServerEvent.CONNECTION_ESTABLISHED, null));
}catch (IOException ioe){
fireServerEvent(new ServerEvent(ClientInfo, ServerEvent.UNEXPECTED_CONNECTION_ERROR, null));
exceptionThrown(ioe);
}catch(Exception x){
exceptionThrown(x);
}finally{
try{
server.close();
socket.close();
if (scheduler != null)
scheduler.deactivate();
}catch (Exception e){
exceptionThrown(e);
So I have to make this question unanswered, because it is actually partially answered. Although the server can wake up and ping the clients, I still find it difficult to see if the client really exists after some abnormal termination (i.e. computer dies, or sth similar). -
HI
I created a web application and configured rbs storage ,
I uploaded documents (for ex: 18 number)
after uploaded documents , and observed the RBS storage folder, number of files are increasing (39 number) , its working fine
and also I run the querys to check the rows increasing or not , (when I upload new doc rows are increased its fine also)
select count(*) from alldocs
Select count(*) from AllDocstreams
but when I delete some docs from document library ,
1)the doc itself deleted from document library
2)when I check the rbs storage there is no number of files are decreased(its still 39 files ), its same as before doc deleted from doc library
after some time I found the number of files are decreasing from RBS storage folder in sql server,
here I want to know the how the files are decreasing from RBS storage after some time, where shld I check the settings for this? and how I control on it
here how I know the settings for cleaning up orphan BLBOS how these deleted BLOB
adil1. WHen you delete the file from Sharepoint, it is still present in Recycle bin. This is a default setting in sharepoint for 30 days. Once files are deleted fro Recycle bin, it can also be delete from RBS
2. There is a RBS cleanup job which deletes files from RBS. for more info check

After some advice, I am new to Apple and looking to purchase either the MacBook Air 13inch with 256GB and 8GB mem or the MacBook Pro 13inch with retina 256Gb and 8GB mem. I am an assistant principal in a primary school and also studying my masters at university. I don't play computer games and I don't watch movies. I do store photos and videos of my kids and music on iTunes. I also like browsing the net with numerous windows open, check email etc. I am really wanting long battery life as I do a lot of my work on the couch - not close to a PowerPoint. Would the air do the trick or will it soon be outdated as Apple move towards retina display? Both air and pro seem very thin - almost the same? And not much difference in weight either so both very portable which is also a necessary requirement. Just can't help dreaming about that 12 hour claimed battery life. Any helpful advice/opinions, very much appreciated. Thanks
It's not likely that you'll get 12 hours in reql life. Those benchmarks are set under very strict controlled conditions. Kind of like mileage per gallon claims on cars. If 16GB of ram is an option at all I'd highly recommend you get that. As far as storage 256GB isn't alot, consider storing some things on an external thunderbolt real

Adobe Flash Player don't show videos on YouTube after some point - Black Screen only
Hello. I have a problem with Flash Player on YouTube. It has crashed many, many times so I decided to open this thread for let you know about it if you don't know already.
Now, I've got no crash reports or anything but it crashes after some point. Even if it doesn't give me crash report, I understand it because YouTube videos don't run and I got only black screen. When I tried to close (click "X" at right above) Firefox, it denies to close with some click sounds. I can only close with combination of CTRL+ALT+DELETE and terminate process. After I closed Firefox and open new page, it works fine until I get the same situation.
By the way, I have laptop with these specs:
Intel Core i5 3210m
AMD Radeon 7670m + Intel HD 4000 ( with AMD Switchable Graphics called Enduro )
8 GB Ram
Windows 7 Ultimate 64 bit
I don't know what problem is causing it so I couldn't give you much information. But if you need any information, I'll try to help. Thanks in advance.
P.S: I'm sorry for the bad English.Thanks for your reply. I totally forgot the topic, sorry.
I've solved the issue, just disabled hardware acceleration feature from Preferences menu and everything is working well now.

I don't know if this is the right section but I experience the following issue with Adobe Acrobat Pro XI installed on Windows 8.1. When I start Acrobat the related window opens normally but, after some scroll up and down along the document, it blocks, Acrobat doesn't respond to any command I can give and, in place of the pointer arrow, a vertical bar, as the one of the text editor appears. The only way I can stop Acrobat is by means of the task manager. I tried to de-install and the re- install Acrobat but the behaviour is always the same. What can I do??
Have you opened Acrobat and gone to Help>Updates to get an updated install?

Site does not load after some minutes of creation or after restart the server
Hello,
I have been asked to create a test enviroment identical to the production enviroment. So, what I did was:
Backed up the production web application's content database: Prod_WSS_ContentDB
Created new test servers (domain controller, sql server and sharepoint 2013 server) in a new, completely isolated, network environment, without any connection with the production environment (specifically Azure)
Created a new web application in test environment with a new content database.
Dismounted the new content database with powershell: Dismount-spcontentdatabase Test_WSS_Content
Copy the Prod_WSS_ContentDB database to the test sql server and restored it with Management Studio.
Mount the Prod_WSS_ContentDB databe to the web application with powershell:
Mount-spcontentdatabse Prod_WSS_ContentDB -WebApplication http://testsp/
Then, when I type http://testsp in the browser it redirects me to http://testsp/SitePages/Home.aspx
and the site loads exactly as the production environment.
But, after some minutes, or if I restart the Sharepoint Server, when I navigate to
http://sitesp I am redirected to http://testsp/SitePages/Home.aspx
as expected, but the site does not load, the browser just show a complety blank page.
The Central Administration site loads normally.
Trying to fix it I found that if I dismount the content database Prod_WSS_ContentDB, then mount the test database Test_WSS_Content,
then navigate to the site, dismount Test_WSS_Content and finally mount again Prod_WSS_ContentDB, the site loads normally, no blank page, but after some minutes or if I restart the same happens again.
For the error event I receice in event viewer it seems that the problem is related to database. I have not found a solution for this error... How can I solve this?
The error is:

MCTS, Windows Server 2008 R2: Active Directory, ConfiguringHi,
According to your post, my understanding is that Site does not load after some minutes of creation or after restart the server.
Please make sure you create a test environment for existing production site correctly.
Here are some great articles for your reference:
Moving content between SharePoint environments
Copy SharePoint production data to a test environment
Build a SharePoint 2010 Test/Development Farm

I created one apple I'd when I started using the iPad. After some days, I had to create a new apple id
as there was some problem with the first one. Now at some places still my old apple Id is appearing. Pls adv how I change this to my new apple Id.Anything you downloaded with the first Apple Id will forever be tied to it, and will always require it to update.
The question here is, why did you think you needed to create a new Apple ID? What was the problem with the first one?
To get rid of th old one, you'll need to delete everything you downloaded with it, and then sign out of the ID in several places around the iPad.
Go to Settings->iTunes & App Stores->Apple ID->Sign out.
Repeat the process, for Facetime, Messages, Mail and any other App you need to sign out of.
