Object Type Problem

Hi
I faced some problems with O8(Release 8.0.5.0.0) object types.
Look at the following definition:
CREATE TYPE T_JMJX AS OBJECT( LBNO NUMBER(3),...);
CREATE TYPE LIST_JMJX AS TABLE of T_JMJX;
CREATE TABLE JXGC.JMJXJL
(JMJX LIST_JMJX,...)
NESTED TABLE JMJX STORE AS N_JMJXJL;
One day when I opened Schema Manager,I got a shock: TABLE JXGC.JMJXJL
has four colunms with the same name !!
name     schema datatype
JMJX     none LIST_JMJX
JMJX     none LIST_JMJX
JMJX     none LIST_JMJX
JMJX     JXGC LIST_JMJX
And I query USER_TAB_COLUMNS, it do have 4 records.
But in SQL*Plus I type 'decs JMJXJL',the column JMJX appears only once.
Other tables that has object type columns face the same problem.
This doesn't has any infection on my applications.
The real problem comes when one day I want to move the user JXGC to an
other server.
Export was done successfully but has a curious phenomenon:
Exporting NJMJXJL(the Nested Table)......19678 Exported
The number of rows Exported is about four times than the rows it
should has.
When Impport goes to the tables that have object type columns ,I got
the following errors:
Importing Table JMJXJL ........
IMP-00009: abnormal end of export file
Import terminated successfully with warnings.
Please help me to solve this problem.Thanks a lot!

Stone,
You need to go to metalink.oracle.com to file an iTAR on this.

Geoff

  • S/A bridge problem: No object type found for the message

    Hi all,
    I've been spending days looking into the following problem. I have a RFCXIFile scenario. The R3 system sends data via an RFC to XI and XI post the data as a flat file on a certain server using FTP.
    This scenario worked just fine for 1 exception. I could only run this scenario once. The second time I got timeouts when checking the data sent to my RFC destination using SM58. When I reactivated my RFC communcation channel I could again send 1 RFC to the system. All subsequent tries would fail.
    I guess this is due to the fact that I use a synchonous call (RFC) to an asynchronous one. Thus the adapter is still waiting for the response from the XI system and will not accept any further new calls from R3.
    So I figure let's use this pattern called the S/A bridge. So I designed everything according to guides and examples and I'm quite certain everything is configured right but when I run the scenario I get the following message:
    <i> <!--  Call Adapter
      -->
    - <SAP:Error xmlns:SAP="http://sap.com/xi/XI/Message/30" xmlns:SOAP="http://schemas.xmlsoap.org/soap/envelope/" SOAP:mustUnderstand="">
      <SAP:Category>XIAdapter</SAP:Category>
      <SAP:Code area="BPE_ADAPTER">UNKNOWN_MESSAGE</SAP:Code>
      <SAP:P1 />
      <SAP:P2 />
      <SAP:P3 />
      <SAP:P4 />
      <SAP:AdditionalText />
      <SAP:ApplicationFaultMessage namespace="" />
      <SAP:Stack>No object type found for the message. Check that the corresponding process is activated</SAP:Stack>
      <SAP:Retry>M</SAP:Retry>
      </SAP:Error></i>
    It seems that the adapter cannot find any integration process to send the message into!?
    I've looked at numerous threads on sdn and tried all kinds of stuff (looked at the cache==> code 0 = OK , tried to reactivate my integration process, checked the interface determination,...), but to no avail. Does anybody has an idea what could be wrong ?
    Any help would be greatly appreciated for I'm all out of clues....
    Bob

    First of all, Thank you for trying to help me out here.
    Some answer to your suggestions/questions:
    The IP has return code 0 in SXI_CACHE. so that doesn't seem to be the problem.
    I've checked the BPM for syntax errors. I doesn't have any.
    I've reimported the BPM into the integration directory.
    And did a full cache refresh in SXI_CACHE. Return code is (stays) zero, so that's OK.
    I've already included the error message from SXI_MONI. It is in the last step ("Call Adater") that the error occurs.
    The other steps execute just fine...
    The RFC communcation channel accepts the incoming RFC call and puts into the pipeline, so no problems with the communication channel either. the problem is actually when the pipeline is trying to forward the message into an IP trhough the BPE_ADAPTER (according to SXMB_MONI).
    Therefore I'm not able to go to into PE, because the workflow is never started. the BPE_ADAPTER does not find any active process for the interface determination i've entered.
    So i can not debug the IP in the PE and check container variables, like some of you mentioned.
    Maybe some more information about the scenario:
    The RFC is called from an R3 system to XI over the interface "CONTROL_RECIPE_DOWNLOAD", which is an imported RFC, with a request and response message type.
    Then I got a receiver and interface determination with lead the incoming RFC message to the IP, into interface "XI_ERP_MF_MD_CONTROL_RECIPE_REQ_AI_MI".
    This is an abstract synchronous interface based on the request and response types of the "CONTROL_RECIPE_DOWNLOAD" imported RFC.
    This interface is used the first step (receive) of my BPM as the synchronous interface to open the S/A bridge.
    The message (container var)  used in this step is
    name: CORREQ
    Category: Abstract interface
    type: "XI_ERP_MF_MD_CONTROL_RECIPE_REQ_AI_MI"
    The interface "XI_ERP_MF_MD_CONTROL_RECIPE_REQ_AI_MI" is an abstract, asynchronous interface based on the request type of the "CONTROL_RECIPE_DOWNLOAD".
    Then there are 2 send steps for putting the flat files into place and finally i close the the S/A bridge using message:
    name: CORRES
    Category: Abstract interface
    type: "XI_ERP_MF_MD_CONTROL_RECIPE_RES_AI_MI"
    The interface "XI_ERP_MF_MD_CONTROL_RECIPE_RES_AI_MI" is an abstract, asynchronous interface based on the response type of the "CONTROL_RECIPE_DOWNLOAD".
    I hope this information gives you guys a better understanding of hte problem.
    Really looking forward to see more suggestions and to solve this nasty problem ...

  • Problem with decimal data visualization in a circular graphic object type

    When we are design a report using Crystal Reports 2008 we found the following problem. When we insert an object of type circle graphic selecting the option in the graphics wizard for view in the legend data both in value and percentage (u2018bothu2019 design) we cant show them in a two decimals format at the same time.
    Using the option u2018number formatu2019 and indicating two decimals only affects the value but not the percentage.
    Show both the value and the percentage with two decimals at same time itu2019s a necessary requirement for our report design.
    Is there any way to show both the value and the percentage in a circle graphic object with two decimals at the same time?
    Thanks.

    hello Jose,
    i am not sure what you mean by "circular graphic object type".
    there's nothing in the standard cr 2008 build that has this that i've ever found that creates a circle other than inserting a box and changing the rounding on the corners. if you're using a 3rd party product or add-on you'll need to contact whoever built it.

    Dear Guru's
    I am working WebUI, I am facing a problem with Custom Configuration.
    1. The initial requirement to control the visibility for a dropdown event in ERP Quotation.

           OBJECT SUB TYPE:  ZSTYPE_CONFIG1
    3. I have created customm fields in enhancement.
    4. Now i chosen my new configuration (ZPJQTN,ZOTYP_CONFIG,ZSTYP_CONFIG1), when i click Show available fields, the custom fields are not showing. Instead the created fields are available at other configuration.
    5. I am able to control the visibility for the standard available fields.But i am not getting the custom created fields
    (Note:  I have created the Object type and Object sub type as follows: SPRO->CRM->UI Framework->Define Object Types
    Object type: ZOTYP_CONFIG Callback class: ZCL_CONFIG_CALLBACK

    Hi Harshit,
    I added custom fields using AET only.
    I am able to see the field got added in the structure. I am able to access GET and SET methods of the field.
    But the problem is, it is not getting saved. Am i missed any configuration step?
    Please suggest me.

  • Problem with UDF updation - Object type 46

    Hi Experts,
    Scenario :
    For printing the amounts(in words- Indian format) in Cheque and marketing documents, we created UDFs in Title of marketing documents and outgoing payments.
    Then created a function in the DB for convertion of amounts into words and invoked it from  SBO_SP_TransactionNotification for object type '46' (Outgoing payment) and for transaction type 'A'.
    We tried it  with Out going payments
    Problem :
    Initially It was not working at all. When we removed the  transaction type condition the amount got updated on updation of existing records. Still It is not updating the UDFs while adding a new outgoing payment.
    We inserted the values like object type , transaction type etc into a temp table for testing from SBO_SP_TransactionNotification .
    The value we got for Out going payment addition is
    Object type: 30 and transaction type : A (Why this is 30 while adding outgoing payment?)
    The value we got for Out going payment modification is
    Object type: 46 and transaction type :U
    Please Help us on this

    Hi,
    Step to have check print in Indian format
    1)create function
    2)create user field in that master table
    3)make user define query
    declare @Doc_total numeric (19,6)
    set @Doc_total= (SELECT $[ORPC.DocTotal])
    declare @F100 varchar(20)
    declare @DocCurr varchar(20)
    SET @DocCurr= (SELECT $[ORPC.DocCur])
    set @F100= (SELECT Chk100Name FROM OCRN WHERE CurrCode = @DocCurr)
    select REPLACE(SBO_DB.dbo.AmountToWords (@Doc_total), 'Paise',  @F100)
    4)save above query and define that query in user field by shift+F2
    i hope u may know next step

    Hi Alberto/Herald,
    Thanks for your response.
    p_serial_prod_in is a variable of table type srl_prd_type, and there are two elements in the table, serial number and product number.
    My procedure has to handle all the serials and the products that it will receive as an input, (Both Forms and Java application will use this procedure)
    I have used l_serial_num because after all the special characters are filtered i will use the value that i have captured in the l_serial_num.
    I wish to put the validation in a loop for all the serials and products that i receive as an input. Please advise.

  • Bind problem for varchar2 of object type??

    Hello all,
    I am trying out binding Oracle Object types to java object types using the SQLData interface.
    I created a simple object type called employee with the syntax
    create type employee as object (empName varchar2(50),empNo number(9));
    I then created a class called EmplyoeeObj which implements the interface. The code for the readSQL and
    writeSQL methods are below:
    public void readSQL(SQLInput stream, String typeName) throws SQLException {
    empName = stream.readString();
    empNo = stream.readInt();
    public void writeSQL(SQLOutput stream) throws SQLException {
    stream.writeString(empName);
    stream.writeInt(empNo);
    empName is a String and empNo is an int. The code that does the calling is:
    String query = "{call test_employee(?)}";
    Map map = connection.getTypeMap();
    map.put("CISWEB.EMPLOYEE",
    Class.forName("test.jdbc.EmployeeObj"));
    /*Set back the type map with the new mappings*/
    connection.setTypeMap(map);
    /*Create a statement to make the call */
    ocs = (OracleCallableStatement)connection.prepareCall(query);
    ocs.registerOutParameter(1,
    OracleTypes.STRUCT,
    "CISWEB.EMPLOYEE");
    boolean isWorked = ocs.execute();
    System.out.println("Execute finished........");
    Object outParam = ocs.getObject(1);
    System.out.println("Object was obtained........" + outParam);
    System.out.println("name:" + ((EmployeeObj)outParam).getName());
    As can be seen I have created a stored procedure which has one out parameter. All
    this preocedure does is assign an Employee object to the out parameter with a name of
    'Alex' and an employee number of 9.
    The code runs and all but I get this strange result. In the print I am getting the employee number
    coming out correctly but the employee name comes out as 3 question marks. I can't understand why
    "Alex" does not out. I have tried different things such as adding a new varchar2 to the object type and new a new integer and what I observer is that I keep getting 3 question marks coming back instead of whatever I assign for the employee name. Could someone please help and let me know what could be wrong?
    I have no clue as what is causing this weird behaviour.
    Thanks.

    Hi,
    i have not really a idea. But at the next step i would
    try the same procedure with in/out parameter and use a
    initialized string. Maybe there is a problem to
    determine the length of string.
    Bye ThomasThanks for you reply Thomas,
    This is the code for stored procedure that I use. As can be seen I just assign an employee to the
    out parameter.
    CREATE OR REPLACE PROCEDURE test_employee(emp out EMPLOYEE) IS
    BEGIN
         emp := EMPLOYEE('Alex',49);
    END;
    Now in the java code when the statement >>
    System.out.println("name:" + ((EmployeeObj)outParam).getName());
    executes I get the name coming out as the String: "???". That is three question marks. It is very weird. I then attempted to create the object using JPublisher and I get the same result. I attempted not only to use hte SQLData interface but Oracle's ORAData interfaces as well. I went to to create a table with column as the EMPLOYEE type and use in insert to put the same object and and then sellect * from the table to the the and I still get the 3 question marks for the name and the number comes out correctly.
    I am not sure what could be causing the text to come out as three question marks. I am using Oracle 9.2.0.4.0 and the ojdbc_g.jar drivers version :9.2.0.3.0. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
    Thanks

  • Problem Instanciating BO - No default attribute defined for the object type

    Hello Experts,
    I am instanciating the BO BUS2038 to ZBUS2038 and when I click in u201Cto implementedu201D and follow u201Cto releasedu201D the message No default attribute defined for the object type is appearing!
    Can anybody help, please?

    Hello everyone,
    it appears to me, that no one has a clue about the "default attribute" and is widely guessing what can be done about that.
    I feel deeply sorry for that, Marcos.
    At first: You don't really need to care about the missing default attribute. If it's missing, the object's instance key will be used instead. Skip the warning message.
    Secondly: The default attribute is used to display the instance within the "Object links & Attachments" under the work item preview when using the SAP Business Workflow.
    Thirdly: You can select any existing attribute of your business object type to be the default attribute, by navigating to the "Basic data" (it's the heat-icon within the object builder), use tab "Defaults" and use the Input Help on the field "Attribute".
    There you'll go.
    Best wishes,
    Florin

  • Problem using Oracle Object Types and Arrays.

    I'm currently trying to work with oracle object types in java and I'm running into some issues when trying to add an item to an array.
