=================================================================
PURPOSE
Explanation
포함된 classes12dms.jar 화일이다. 이 classes12dml.jar는 경우에 따라서 새로운

os>cd $ORACLE_HOME (or top level directory where oc4j was unpacked)
os>cd jdbc/lib
os>mv classes12dms.jar classes12dms.raj
classes12.jar 와 nls_charset12.jar를 copy한다.
<JDK_HOME>/jre/lib/ext
<J2EE_HOME>/jdbc/lib directory
단 이때 새로운 version의 jdbc에 classes12dms.jar가 없다면 classes12.jar를 classe
os>cp classes12.jar <J2EE_HOME>/jdbc/lib/classes12dms.jar
os>cp nls_charset12.jar <J2EE_HOME>/jdbc/lib/nls_charset12.jar
$OC4J_HOME/j2ee/home/config/application.xml 에 아래와 같이 library path로
<library path="jdbc_classfile이_위치한_상대경로\classes12.jar"/>
<library path="jdbc_classfile이_위치한_상대경로\nls_charset12.jar"/>
NOTE: OPTIONS 1 through 3 update the JDBC classes used by all
applications running in the OC4J container.
<library path="jdbc_classfile이_위치한_상대경로\classes12.jar"/>
<library path="jdbc_classfile이_위치한_상대경로\nls_charset12.jar"/>

  • Unable to compile ( not creating class file ) java file

    Hi
    I am unable to compile java file in eclipse. I am using Tomcat 5.0 and eclipse 3.0. I am able to compile the file from command prompt. I installed eclipse and did all settings including Build path ( WEB-INF\classes). But I donot see any class file getting created.

    Are you seeing errors when eclipse compiles you classes? Have you tried to build your project using; Project -> Build All? If you have and it looks like no errors are generated you may need to change your perspective. Try changing to the resource perspective to see the built class files; Window -> Open Perspective -> Other -> Resource. By default built class files end up in the bin directory of the project. i usually change my built classes directory to classes, just makes more sense to me.

  • JDBC error : UnsupportedClassVersionError:Bad version number in .class file

    Hi All,
    I am currently working with PI 7.1 on an Idoc ->XI->JDBC scenario. The DB being used in our case is SQL 2008. We have successfully installed the JDBC driver provided by MS. When the message reached the JDBC the following error is listed in RWB.
    JDBC Message processing failed, due to Error when attempting to get processing resources: com.sap.aii.af.lib.util.concurrent.ResourcePoolException: Unable to create new pooled resource: DriverManagerException: Can not establish connection:: UnsupportedClassVersionError: Bad version number in .class file
    We tried reinstalling the JDBC drivers as well , but to no avail.. .
    Any idea on why this could happen ?

    Hi Mallikarjun,
        Are you getting this error for only specific channel or all channels?
    If you are getting this for all channels check your drivers of they are installed correctly....
    if it is for specific channel then try increasing JDBC thread count and in restart the channel...

  • How to save library symbols' class files in packages that are not the default package?

    Hi,
    I perform the following in Flash CS5 with Flash Builder 4
    1) Create a new library symbol.
    2) Do a RightClick->Properties on the new symbol
    3) Check the options for "Export for ActionScript" and "Export in frame 1".
    4) I write a new name for my class "Class1" and click on the pencil icon "edit class definition" to edit the class.
    At this point my FlashBuilder 4 takes over and opens the "New ActionScript" dialog.
    4) I then click on Package-Browse to select a package e.g. com.mycompany.myfiles as the new class destination.
    The as file is created as com.mycompany.myfiles/Class1.as as everything seems just fine.
    5) I close the ActionScript file and back in Flash CS5 I RightClick on the symbol and select "Edit Class".
    At this time, FB4 suggests again to create the file, ignoring the fact that I already created it before.
    Do you know of a way I can make Flash CS5 remember where I created the file?
    Thanks.

    Hi,
    I didn't remove the project or delete any of the files.
    All I did was create the class file under a package that is not the default package. Then when I clicked on the Flash symbol's "Edit Class" It asked me again to create the same class file.
    Only if I create the class in the default package, it won't ask me to recreate it again.

I've looked under the "WEB-INF" directory under the "application" directory and the "persistence" directory under application-deployments and didn't find them. Any help would be appreciated. your jsp class are compiled in a file named namejsp.jsp.jspCache in the application-deployments\your app\persistence ...
    but this file is not readable.
    To hav your jsp like .class you have to delete your directory applications-deployments\your app
    and open the file orion-web.xml and add the following:
    development="true" under the tag jsp-cahce-dirctory
    restart the server and then your jsp are created like .class

  • Urgent,java Error when compiling class file for jsp

    Hi!
    Reference to statement is ambbiguous,both class java.sql.statement in java.sql and class.java.beans.statement in java beans match.
    this is my file . When i comment the java.import.bean headre it does compile but my server is not able to recognize the class file.,Cud someone help me.

    sql = s;
    synchronized public void processRequest(HttpServletRequest req) throws
    Exception
    if (queryType)
    Statement stmt=con.createStatement();
    rs=stmt.executeQuery(sql);
    else
    PreparedStatement ps=null;
    ps=con.prepareStatement(sql);
    int count=0;
    String sqlParam,paramValue;
    boolean set=true;
    while (set)
    count++;
    sqlParam="param"+String.valueOf(count);
         if (sqlParam==null)
              set=false;
              continue;
    paramValue=req.getParameter(sqlParam);
         if (paramValue==null)
    set=false;
    continue;
              else
                   paramValue=paramValue.trim();
    try
                   ps.setString(count,paramValue);
              catch(Exception ex)
                   set=false;
                   continue;
    try
    edited=ps.executeUpdate();
    catch(SQLException e)
    edited=0;
    public Connection getConnection()
    return con;
    public ResultSet getResultSet()
    return rs;
    public int stored()
    return edited;
    public void closeCon() throws Exception
    con.close();
    rs = null;

    No need of commenting your import statement. Whenever there is ambiguity, you can use full class name (with package).
    Like,
    java.sql.Statement stmt=con.createStatement();
    Now there is no ambiguity.

  • URGENT PLEASE:How can I run a a class file on the Apache server?

    Hi Guys and Gurus,
    I am seeking some favor all of experienced gurus, i.e.
    How can I run a a class file on the Apache server? Can I run through an Applet?
    How can I set Environment variables in Windows2000 Professional Environment?
    Actually, I want to extract some records from a MySQL Database running on Apache Server. I wrote a program just to select the columns and show them. It is now a Class file, Now how can I run this class file from the Server???
    The code is here
    import java.sql.*;
    public class RecordShow {
    public static void main(String args[]) {
    String url = "jdbc:mysql://localhost/myhost";
    Connection con;
    String query = "select mytable.column," +

    "myuser", "mypassword");
    stmt = con.createStatement();
    ResultSet rs = stmt.executeQuery(query);
    ResultSetMetaData rsmd = rs.getMetaData();
    int numberOfColumns = rsmd.getColumnCount();
    int rowCount = 1;
    while (rs.next()) {
    System.out.println("Row " + rowCount + ": ");
    for (int i = 1; i <= numberOfColumns; i++) {
    System.out.print(" Column " + i + ": ");
    System.out.println(rs.getString(i));
    System.out.println("");
    rowCount++;
    stmt.close();
    con.close();
    } catch(SQLException ex) {
    System.err.print("SQLException: ");
    System.err.println(ex.getMessage());
    Please advise... THANKS

    Ehm, I wasn't referring to you at all... read up,
    there's a comment by jschell saying that CGI might be
    easier/better for his purposes.
    Yep.
    I know PHP/Perl/whatever might be easier for some
    purposes, but only if you happen to know them and want
    to/are able to use them. Ok. But you aren't the one asking the question are you. And the person who asked the question seems to have absolutely no familiarity with Apache or applets.
    So whatever they do they are going to have to learn a lot.
    And that does indeed suggest that in all likelyhood they have not investigated the alternatives.
    And for the vast majority of internet applications, especially with smaller projects (obvious this person is not working with a large team), using perl, or something besides java, is going to be the best business solution. It is simpler, and more secure (probably due to the fact that it is simpler.)
    Since this is a Java forum, I
    answer under the assumption that people have made a
    choice one way or another to use a Java solution to
    their problem, so I try to solve it in Java first, and
    only when that fails (very seldom) do I turn to other
    solutions.You approach problems by arbritrarily deciding to try to solve it in java first and only if you fail do you then look to other solutions?
    My first step is to try to figure out which of the various avenues is going to cost less. (And a secondary, but non-trivial concern, is then to convince the customer that just because they have heard of a buzz word like 'enterprise bean' that it doesn't mean that is a cost effective solution.) We must come from different worlds.

  • How to hide the password in .class file?

    Hi All,
    I try to use a Connect.java file to connect to MySQL. The URL is similar to the following:
    "jdbc:mysql://192.168.1.1/database?user=name&password=123456"
    When I compile the .java file to a .class file, I can still see the full URL line in the machine codes of the Connect.class file.
    How to avoid exposing the password in the line?
    Thank you.
    Anthony Pong

    1) Use obfuscate option in your Java compiler
    2) There is Jakarta tool BCEL - which can be used for
    obfuscation, etcObfuscation tools don't obfuscate single literal string contents, which is the problem here.
    You'll have to make sure that your string doesn't appear as a single string anywhere. One technique is to break up your password into pieces, and scatter the declarations around, and join them up in the code to construct your password.
    (Oh yeah, and don't call your variables "static private final String passwordPiece1="foo";" either :-), or use an obfuscation tool to hide these variable names).

  • My JSP can't find a class file

    Hi
    I am trying to view a JSP but I get ClassNotFoundException. I know that it means that it can't find the class but I can't understand why.
    my directory structure:
    Intranet->source
    ->jsp
    ->WEB-INF->classes->source-><class file here>
    first line of .java file:
    package source;
    JSP code:
    <%@page import="java.sql.*, source.*, java.util.*;" %>
    <jsp:useBean id="dbConnect" scope="session" class="source.DBConnect">
    <jsp:getProperty name="dbConnect" property="jdbc:odbc:Auto_Intranet" />
    </jsp:useBean>
    Must I create an environment variable for 'Windows': with classpath " .....\WEB-INF\classes"
    The Windows environment variable doesn't exist----using XP Pro

    Looks right to me.
    You don't need a classpath variable. Web containers ignore it anyway.
    Which class is not found? source.DBConnect?
    Is DBConnect in a package called source?
    Is your database driver in the web-inf/lib directory?
    Please post the full error message with stack trace - it will be easier to sort out.
    Good luck,

  • Java class files not found error in jsp sub-directories

    Hello:
    I have a web-application that is setup in the following way:
    index.jsp

    Hello Qiang:
    Thanks a lot for replying, and sorry for the delay in replying back to you. I have been searching the forums for a while and have yet to find anyone else with a similar problem. And yes, it is kinda wierd.
    But, anyways, I checked the java version from the windows command line as follows and it is using version 1.4.2:
    java -version

    Also, here are the contents of my test.class file:

  • The ResultSet.class file

    Hi,
    I am also having similar problems with ResultSet class. I would like the ResultSet.class file that you sent to Ashish. It would help me solve my problem very quickly. Could you sent it to me as an attachment in an email.
    Thanks in advance,
    Jason Mitchell

    stmt.executeQuery(query) will return a resultset, you are asking for an int.
    resultset contains the details of the executed statement AFAIK. Bit new to this but the way I would do it is as follows:
    try{
                // Step 1: Load the JDBC driver.
                Class.forName("sun.jdbc.odbc.JdbcOdbcDriver");
                // Step 2: Establish the connection to the database.
                String url = "jdbc:odbc:shop";
                conn = DriverManager.getConnection(url);
                System.out.println("Connected to shop database");
                catch(Exception e){
                System.err.println("Got an exception! ");
                System.err.println(e.getMessage());
                System.out.println("Suggestion: Perhaps your database cannot be found");
            }And then to insert data I would do this, use another try catch block, that way if there is an exception u will know it is not related to database connectivity.
    PreparedStatement pstmt = null;
                ResultSet rs = null;
                pstmt = conn.prepareStatement("INSERT INTO User (lastname,firstname) " +
              "values ('" + lastname + "', " +
              "'" + firstname + "')";
                pstmt.execute();Oh and declare conn somewhere;
    private Connection conn; //Database connection
    I hope this has helped

    This creates the SQLJTst3.java and the .ser profile files but
    no .class file.
    My set-up is:
    Oracle SQLJ Release 8.1.7.0.0 Production
