OCMS For Eclipse - Can't deploy Exampe App!

When I try to deploy the messagesender example app I get the following exception:
J2EE JSP-0008 Unable to dispatch JSP Page : Exception:oracle.jsp.provider.JspCompileException: <H3>Errors compiling:C:\product\10.1.3.3\ocms_1\j2ee\home\application-deployments\messagesender\messagesender\persistence\_pages\\_index.java</H3><pre></pre>
Any ideas? Basic installation so should work off the bat but doesn't for me!?!?!

Can you check whether you have the JDK as the default JVM-runtime for your server instance?
Go to Eclipse ->Window menu->Preferences->Server->Installed Runtimes->Edit your runtime, for the JRE select a JDK 1.5 release instead of an JRE release.
Let me know if it works.

  • Whether java component (Not ejb, not servlet) can be deployed in App Server and get the services provided by App Server

As I mentioned in subject, I am just wondering Whether the java component (Not
ejb, not servlet) can be deployed in App Server and get the services provided
    by App Server or not?

Nevermind folks - I got it to work. All my configuration was correct; I had other issues with the ejb-jar file that the verifier informed me of (my previous deployments were with the verifier turned-off).

  • BPEL plugin for Eclipse does not deploy ?

As far as I heard there is a BPEL plugin for Eclipse.
Is this correct ? Where do I get this plugin?
Is this true that I can develop but not deploy code
    with this plugin?

So what is correct here. All of the tutorials and quick guides are all using Eclipse. I am trying to test 10.1.3 SOA version as I am currently on 10.1.2.0 w/ JDev being my designer.
J-Dev BPEL plugin changed quite a bit, so I wanted to RTFM but they are all in Eclipse.
    Like these for instance

I created my own domain which is a workshop enabled domain. In wlw-manifest.xml, there is no JMS resources/ state tables to create.

  • Help -- Can we deploy BC4J app to the OC4J in 9i DS?

    Hi Experts,
I have built an BC4J application using the Jdeveloper of 9i Developer Suite. The app runs fine within Jdev (using the embeded OC4J), and runs pretty well when it is automatically deployed to a stand-alone OC4J (9.0.2.0.0). Since the stand-alone OC4J does not "serve" reports, I had to "deployed" the reports to the OC4J bound with 9iDS. (All these stuff are on the same Win2000 machine, but different Oracle homes.)
Now, when I tried to deploy the entire application to the 9iDS-bound OC4J, it did not work. I used Jdev to deploy it to the iAS automatically (just like deploying it to the stand-alone OC4J), and the processes finished without any errors . However, when I pointed the browser to the app in the 9iDS server, I got the 404 error.
I compared a few configuration files, like server.xml, http-web-site.xml, application.xml, web.xml, etc. in the stand-alone and 9iDS-bound OC4J's and did not find obvious difference. The structure of the two applications directories are very much the same, too.
THERE IS an obvious difference in the two application-deployments directories though: On the stan-alone OC4J, there is a persistence\_pages subdirectory under my app home directory, which does not exist On the 9iDS-bound OC4J.
Anyone has any ideas on the whys and hows please? Thank you very much.

    Hi;
I have installed Web Logic and have successfully deployed a servlet based app

  • Selling GS3 for G4. Can I reinstall the Apps without paying them again?

I'm thinking about selling the old GS3 for the new G4.
    1) Can I deinstall all the Apps from GS3 and reinstall them on the new G4 without having to pay the Apps all over again?
    2) Can a potential buyer of mine (GS3) be able to keep all the Apps I purchased and use his own account to update the Apps?
    Thanks
    Thanks

    1) Yes:

    2) No.

  • Can not deploy an app to weblogic

    Hi,
I have a problem deploying an application to Weblogic 9.2 M3.
    Keep getting an exception
org.springframework.beans.factory.xml.XmlBeanDefinitionStoreException: Line 2 in XML document from class path resource http://components.xml is invalid; nested exception is org.xml.sax.SAXParseException: cvc-elt.1: Cannot find the declaration of element 'bea-domain-information'.
    (see the stack trace below).
My Spring version is 2.5.1, claimed to be supported by WL 9.2 M3:
    http://edocs.bea.com/platform/suppconfigs/configs92/92_over/overview.html#1131055
I see that the createDocumentBuilderFactory method of the org.springframework.beans.factory.xml.DefaultDocumentLoader class returns Weblogic's Document builder factory. When an app is deployed to Tomcat, the standard com.sun.org.apache.xerces.internal.jaxp.DocumentBuilderFactoryImpl is returned and everything works fine after that. Wondering if this may be the root of the problem...
    Any input is greatly appreciated.
    Thanks,
    Andrey

  • Enterprise Pack for Eclipse WITH OEBS 11.5.0?

    Hello,
I'm searching for the best way to developp screen in Java for OEBS 11.5.0 ? I try with Jdevelopper 9i which is to old for me. Is Enterprise Pack for Eclipse can answer to my probleme?
    Regards

For WebLogic Portal tooling you have a couple of options. For WebLogic Portal 10.3 and older, Workshop for WebLogic will be your tooling environment.
Starting in WebLogic Portal 10.3.2, which released this year, the development tools have migrated to Oracle Enterprise Pack for Eclipse. The WebLogic Portal 10.3.2 installer will install both the runtime and the IDE configured with additional WebLogic Portal Eclipse features (Portal Project Configuration, Perspecitives, Palettes, Deployment, etc).
If you are interest in the latest version, you can download from the WebLogic Portal OTN page - http://www.oracle.com/technology/products/weblogic/portal/index.html

  • Deploying free apps to ipads

I need to send free apps to some ipads (bbc news app etc)
if i do it it asks for an apple ID - if i put in the apple ID i downloaded the app with on the server (admin apple ID) it works, if i use another apple ID (personal) it crashes the app.
how can i deploy free apps that the end user can use without handing out my admin apple ID?
The way i've done it should work according to apples documentation (ASW and ASTO) (can't give links cos you need a login)
    any ideas?

    Hi
There are a number of ways to do this.
One way is to download the free Apple Configurator App from the App Store.
    https://itunes.apple.com/gb/app/apple-configurator/id434433123?mt=12
This will allow you to install multiple free apps to multiple IOS devices easily and quickly. If you have a Trolley, Cart or Sync Box(s) handy it will make the job even quicker.
