ODI : create an XML model with UBL technology instead of XSD file

Hello,
I have several xsd files which contain UBL (Universal Business Language) and all these files are linked between them. In Oracle Data Integrator, I would like generate a XML model from these files as I use to do with the standard xsd files. Unfortunately, it doesn't work with the driver I use usually.
Do you know if you can generate an xml model from xsd files which contain UBL and if yes, could you say me all the steps I must do to that successfully please?

What I mean is :
when an xsd file calls an other xsd files by using the namespaces (when 2 xsd files are linked), is there a way to create an xml model matching with the contain of these 2 xsd files?
Can someone say me if the only solution to generate a xml model is to have only one xsd file?

there is currently no confirmation message available in the XMLForms EditForm. But you can use the "preview" button to show how it looks like, before you are using the "Save" button.

Creating a data model in BW by importing an .ER1 file

We have a Data Model from an Oracle 9 data warehouse in the form of an Erwin File ( .ER1) . We would like to replicate this data model in SAP BW 7.0.
Is it possible to create the same data model in SAP BW by importing this file and automatically generating the data model in SAP BW ? . I understand this is possible in other datawarehouses but not sure if it is possible in BW .

Create an XML object with AS3

I want to create a basic XML object in AS3, but don't know
how to do this.
I first tried creating a string that represented my XML
elements and their values, but then I don't know how to convert
this string into an XML object.
Secondly, I believe there are other ways of creating XML
objects in AS without doing anything with strings.

I guess you want to send "spools" in XML format, not the definition of smart forms. Create an XML Document with HTML Entities?

I'm writing a program that uses SAX to parse an XML document and generate XHTML from it, but I would like the XML document to allow HTML entities, of course, in the XML markup.
Each time my parser gets to any entity at all it dies reporting an undefined entity.
Is there any way I can refer to the HTML entity DTD or perhaps, in my own DTD, copy and paste the HTML entities? How would I make a reference like this in my XML document?

Seems to me you would just put something like<!DOCTYPE HTML PUBLIC "-//W3C//DTD HTML 4.0 Transitional//EN"
"http://www.w3.org/TR/REC-html40/loose.dtd">before your root element. Or whichever DTD you actually want. I found out about them here:

Creating (sharing) a video with a sound-track as .wmv file, no sound track. Any ideas?

I'm a new user, and I have imported a video file (created by PowerPoint, and a sound-track (created by Cubase software from Steinberg.
When I view the video within Premiere Elements it's all there - video and audio both. However, when I try to create an external .wmv file (Publish+Share), I don't get any audio.
Set up is Windows PC running Windows XP SP3, with 4 GB of RAM, and 500 GByte hard drive. Premiere Elements version is 11.0
What I'm doing:
I imported the input video file and dropped it on the main Video1 timeline. Then I dropped the finished sound-track on Audio 1. When I click Play, I hear the sound-track and see the video. To Publish+Share, I select Computer from the drop-down menu. Then, in the location and settings list I select Windows Media.I choose 720*480 pixels, 4:3 aspect ration and 29.97 frames per second. In the Advanced.. panel, I make certain that Export Video and Export Audio are both checked. Ther dialog box reports that it will create a 174 MByte file, with 440 kbps/ 96 kHz audio in a 2-channel configuration.
So I click Save, and the program hems and haws for about 34 minutes, and says it's done. All I get is the video - in a 16.414 MByte file (the original input file, also .wmv was only 9.1 MBytes), so something must have happened. However, all I get is video, and no sound-track.
I'm totally convinced that the problem lies between my ears, but I'd like to hear someone provide some guidance. I've missed the deadline for an important project, and I don't want to slip any further :-(

Let us back track through the details.
Premiere Elements 11 on Windows XP 32 bit.
What are the video compression and file extension of the file created in PowerPoint? What version PowerPoint? What is the frame size and frame rate?
What are the audio compression and file extension (mp3 or .wav) of the audio created with this Cubase software? Are you dealing with mono, stereo, or 5.1 channel?
From your description, it sounds like you are letting version 11 set the project preset for you. What is it setting? We can find that out from the reading under Edit Menu/Project Settings/General - Editing Mode, Timebase, Frame Size, Pixel Aspect Ratio, even if the fields appear to be grayed out.
If you import your .wmv export back into the Premiere Elements project, do you see content in both the video and audio tracks? If so, do both play back when you press the play button of the Edit area monitor?
Have you checked Edit Menu/Preferences/Audio Hardware and ASIO and have you checked out your audio in the Edit area with the Audio Meter opened to verify sound level? See Window Menu/Audio Meters.
Is the problem confined to this PowerPoint video and Cubase audio? What happens if you try this with a video from your camera and soundtrack from one of the SmartSound soundtracks?
Please review the above and then let us know the answers to the questions.

Error While viewing data on XML model- java.sql.SQLException: constante num

I am trying to read an XML file and I keep getting an error. At first it worked, and the it stopped working. I re-did everthing exactly as first time and I cannot get it work
Here is what I do :
1)     Create Physical Architecture under the XML Technology.
a) we create a Data Server with these data:
          Name: XML_SERIVA_TM_DES
          Technology: XML
          JDBC Driver: com.sunopsis.jdbc.driver.xml.SnpsXmlDriver
          JDBC Url: jdbc:snps:xml?file=c:\Temp\hoy\CRM_CR_CURRENCY.xml&dtd=c:\Temp\hoy\ServiciosSerivaConsultasTypes0.xsd
     b) We place the files xml and xsd files according to the JDBC provided in previous point.
     We click on "Test Connection" and Connection is correct
     c) We create a physical schema under the Data Server created in point a) , with these data:
          Name: XML_SERIVA_TM_DES (After created the name is replaced by XML_SERIVA_TM_DES.Esquema)
          Schema (Schema) : <No Definido> ( not sure of english value, it should be <Undefined>)
          Schema (Work Schema) : <No Definido> ( not sure of english value, it should be <Undefined>)
          Default :It is a checkbox , and it is ticked.
          Under the "Context" tab, we add a logical schema named XML_SERIVA_TM for the "Desarrollo" Context
2) Create a Model On the Designer Navigator, we expand the "Models" panel
     a) For Organization, We create a "Folder" Model. It is named "XML"
     b) Under the Folder created in a), we create a new Model , with these data:

I really don't have any clue about what is happening. I have made sure files are in UTF-8 encoding. I don't know if any jar might be corrupted.

Did you specified a Schema name for your physical schema ?
I had the same problem and no schema was set in my physical schema, when setting it, it must be OK.

Get error when viewing XML model data

Created a XML model and reversed a XML data store.
When i clicking "View Data..." and an error displays,just like:
Can not find table .Data. "Select * from .Data"
A unwanted dot shows before real table name "Data".

That . is not unwanted. The real problem is that your statement is missing the schema name. Instead, your statement would had been something like
select * from MY_SCHEMA_NAME.Data ;Check your Topology(where you defined schema for XML). Your Schema(Schema) and Schema(Work Schema) dropdowns should be set to a name.
If you dont have a high-level schema name, then you can add it your JDBC Url:
jdbc:snps:xml?f=/MyXMLPath/XML_TempFile.xml&d=/MyXMLPath/myDTD.dtd&dod=true&s=MY_SCHEMA_NAMEs=MY_SCHEMA_NAME can be used to provide a generic schema name to all XML files that you may use in the same Topology.
Also, check Local Object Mask while defining Physical XML Schema - %SCHEMA.%OBJECT

How to handle abstract XML elements with XMLBeans

I have an xsd that uses abstract elements, and i wanted to ask you how can i create new XML Documents with XMLBeans? My problems is that i don't know how to handle abstaction with XMLBeans.
Let me show you a very simple example to make you understand my problem :

In Indesign there is no way you can directly work on the XML-IN footnote, since indesign won't support XML tags in footnote stream.
To achive that you need to have XSLT/Perl/Indesign Scripting.
This task is achievable, you can create a auto footnote for XML workflow projects.
1. Create an XSLT to transform the footnote to the respective places
2. Change all the "<" ">" to some standard names, since indesign won't accept XML tags in the footnote stream.
3. Import it in indesign and using script convert it to autofootnote.

Updatexml is reference in Oracle 9i, I'm sorry i should have mentioned that I am using oracle 8i. Is there something you can use in oracle 8i?

Price refresh for new Shopping Cart created from a model

I'm looking for a solution for the following problem.
When i create a shopping cart from a model that has been previously created with a certain price, i'd like the system to update this price if it has been updated between model creation time and new shopping cart creation time from this model. (Whatever price it is catalog, material master price etc...)
If i check the new SC created from the model with function module BBP_PROCDOC_GETDETAIL and my SC number, i see that table E_PRIDOC is fullfilled like this

condition type 0100 is inactive (with the new correct price) and condition type 01PB (manual condition) is used with SC model price and makes that 0100 is inactive.
How to get 0100 condition type active instead of 01PB when creating Shopping cart from models ?
Any ideas are welcome.

In process calculation schema make 0100 condition type as default or assign 0100 to the calculation schema

Marshaller.marshal does not create complete XML tree structure

Dear all,
I use JAXB classes to create an XML document with data derived from SQL queries from a database.
I have created a program that instantiates the JAXB classes and sets its values using the automatically created setter functions.
However when I marshal the document the resulting XML document does not contain the inner structure of the elements needed to appear.
It constructs the document from the root node down to the 4th level of child elements.
Only if a run the 'marshal' operation giving as input parameter an inner element (from level 5 and down) I can see the XML structure within its inner structure.
Does anybody have an idea what could be wrong ?

Hi again,
I tested the makedim example package with another of my dimensions and the XML file was updated correctly. When I try to process the dimension I mentioned before (from the admin console this time) an error of type System.OutOfMemoryException is thrown in the step "Create admin cache file". I guess that this error occurs when I run my custom package too but the package run to the end with status "Completed"...
