OIM 11g AD Connector Provisioning Issue
Hi Guys
i have this problem which just came from nowhere as everything used to work before. Please see below the stacktrace. I have to increase the timeout values on my datasources etc but it keeps failing. My database and everything is in good condition but this problem keeps occurring.

Hi Rajiv
I tried that..but eventually the error comes occurs.
The problem occurs when the connector executes Set User Attributes task. Im not sure what exactly it is setting that causes and where i can look to investigate this.
Any ideas?

OIM 11g Peoplesoft Roles provisioning issue
Hi All,
We have configured Peoplesoft Connector 9.1.1.6 to provision roles to Peoplesoft through access policy. We are not able to provision multiple roles into Peoplesoft. It just provisions first role to user in peoplesoft and errors when provisioning the other role. The role names are matching in peoplesoft and OIM, pulled into the lookup.

OIM PeopleSoft UM Connector Provisioning Issue

PeopleSoft User Management 11.1.1.6.0
I am getting the error below whenever I try to provision a peoplesoft account through OIM:
"Error while executing utility: Cannot connect to peoplesoft : OIMUM@[HOSTNAME] is an Invalid User ID, or you typed the wrong password. User ID and Password are required and case-sensitive. Make sure you're typing in the correct upper and lower case."
For some reason the OIM hostname is appended to the service account when attempting a connection to the target system, and that might be causing the problem. My PeopleSoft system is on a different machine. I tried looking how the hostname gets appended but I no luck in finding the cause of it.
Any insights on this would be great.This issue was resolved due to the system pointing to the wrong PeopleSoft target system.

OIM 11g R2 Auto Provisioning Issue
I have reconciled around 9K records into OIM and ran the evaluate user policies to provision them to LDAP.
Around 8.5K records got provisioned to LDAP, but the others are not getting provisioned.
I tried running the retry failed orchestrations and the orchestration cleanup and a few more got provisioned.
Now there are around 300 records which still need to get provisioned. I tried running the evaluate policies again but it is no working.
Am I missing something that should be done?
Please suggest what can be done to resolve thisplease make sure that all the required fields / attributes that are needed for the provisioning are filled for the users not getting provisioned. Also check the status of the Account to be provisioned for any unprovisioned user does it state "provisioning"? if so check its history and try to find out the reason.

Hi Gurus,
I am working in a PoC (OIM 11g x AD and DBAT integration).
I have faced some problem to sucessful create the GTC for DB. I have followed the DBAT connector guide and Creating GTC section of the OIM Administrative and User Console Guide.
Please, see below the stack trace with the error I have got.
Any idea in where/what is the problem?

I faced something similar few days ago, in my case, this error was due to the fact that in my TARGET Table, there is a large atribute called "ciudad_natal_de_mi_tatarabuela", when GTC try to create the process form it concatenates something like
GTCRESNAME_UD_ciudad_natal_de_mi_tatarabuela
but Oracle database only support identifiers of size 30 or 40 (I don't remember), No possible for me to solve the issue eficiently, Metalink says something like "create a view and reduce the identifier name to suite OIM poor validation engine...." I ended up removing this attribute in the GTC wizard, of course no possible to provision ciudad_natal_de_mi_tatarabuela

OIM 11g R1 Request Template issue
Hi All,
We are facing an issue with implementing the Request Management of OIM 11g R1 11.1.1.5 for Create User.
OIM already provides OOTB CreateUserDataSet.xml and a ‘Create User’ Request Template.
We have changed(customized) the OOTB CreateUserDataSet.xml at the same location in MDS and have created one our own Request Template – ‘Create Custom’.
We have also added Attribute Restrictions in the ‘Create Custom’ request template for mandatory fields like – ‘Organization’, ‘User Type’ & ’Design Console Access’.
The issue we are facing is –“After some time(not immediately) the Request Template gets corrupt and does not open thus rendering the Request Process for Create User inoperable.”
Below is the the log error of the OIM Web console error after we are trying to open ‘Create Custom’ by clicking on the Request Template.

If I change it back to ACT KEY and import it back in OIM the Template is again restored until next corruption

OIM 11g OID connector install error
Hi,
I'm trying to install the OID connector (OID_904140.zip) for OIM 11g (11.1.1.5), but it fails and I get this error message on my screen:
"A system error occurred.
Contact the Oracle Identity Manager System Administrator."
I have unzipped the OID_904140.zip into /home/oracle/Oracle/Middleware/Oracle_IDM1/server/ConnectorDefaultDirectory/
..and the ldap.jar and ldapbp.jar to the subfolder targetsystems-lib/OID_904140/
I can load it, but when I press install something fails. The log tells me this:

2- check if the user reconciled can be updated modified through the IDM Admin console?

check that you are providing the proper OU for the user to be provisioned?
check the the Resource History and see where it is failing maybe some required information is missing.

We have reconciled Groups, Organization successfully using connector server.

ThanksUnique ID attribute is ObjectGUID which I think would be autogenerated. I can see that my user id , OU and other mandatory attributes are populated on the process form, but still I am facing this issue.

OIM 11g DBAT connector - user update not working after target recon

I have configured a resource (XSVR3) with the DBAT 9.1.0.5.0 connector to do provisioning and target recon to and from the same custom database table, following the example found on the connector guide. Now what happens is the following:
- if I first provision the resource to the user everything works fine

It looks like the connector is unable to find the record that needs to be updated. I've looked into the process form table of the resource on the DB (called UD_XSVR3), and I noticed that records resulting from target reconciliation have a null in the UD_XSVR3_ID column, while records resulting from a direct provisioning have the username in the same column. Updating manually the column in the first kind of records fixes the issue, but I need to know if/what have I missed in the connector configuration.

OIM Password sync connector installation issue
Hi All,
I am trying to configure password synchronziation between OIM & Active Directory. while installing AD Password Sync connector on AD Host it is returniing following.
Error occurred while uploading prepAD.ldif. , please refer to %TEMP%\oimpwdsync.log. Please upload
prepAD.ldif to Active Directory Domain Controller before applying ACLs.
Kindly suggest me on this.

OIM 11g R2 - AD provisioning based on Role and Access Policy
Hi, for Active Direcotry integration i used some prepopulation plugin for populationg resource form (based on http://fusionsecurity.blogspot.sk/2013/01/populating-request-attributes-in-oim.html).
It's work fine - requested account was fully provisioned.
Can i use this plugins for Role based provisioning?
I try to create access policy and associated role but when attached the role to the user and run Evaluate User Policies Job, account can't be provisioned.

OIM 11g - DBUM Connector Reconciliation Time Stamp
Hi,
We're using OIM 11.1.1.5.2 with the 9.1.0.4 Database User Management Connector.
We're trying to use incremental reconciliation but it doesn't seem to work right.
As per the connector's guide:
"The Last Execution Time attribute holds the time stamp at which the last reconciliation
run started. This attribute is used in conjunction with the reconciliation query
specified by the Query Name attribute. During a reconciliation run, only target system
records added or modified after the time stamp value stored in the Last Execution
Time attribute are fetched into Oracle Identity Manager for reconciliation."
However everytime we run the reconciliation for a specific target, we only get reconciliation for users CREATED after the last reconciliation dates, users MODIFIED after last reconciliation dates are not being reconciled.
The connector is not working as documented, when i review the log, i can see that it is using the following query for recon:

I don't think the "CREATED" field on the dba_users table is changed everytime the user is modified, and that field is the only one used on the where clause of the query, so, seems like there's something wrong with it.
The only way to reconcile changes on users right now is running a full reconciliation.
Has anyone ran into this problem before?

I tested that approach and it worked. However, i had an interesting discussion on the DB forum and they convinced me not to use custom triggers on ddl, but instead use the audit capabilities of the database itself, so i came up with a new query using audit on alter user and grant and revoke role:

What i used was a join between dba_users and dba_audit_trail, like i said in the other thread, it's not the efficient query ever, but it works, and i think it should work just fine as long as our dba's keep purging the audit tables regularly...
