[OIM] GTC - How to update an already existing GTC?

I have created a CSV GTC. I now want to update it (add more fileds), but clicking "save" I got the error:
An error was encountered while creating a resource object for the generic technology connector {0}. An existing resource object has the same name as the one being assigned to this resource object.
With the exception:
ERROR [ACTIVE] ExecuteThread: '2' for queue: 'weblogic.kernel.Default (self-tuning)' XELLERATE.WEBAPP - Class/Method: CreateGenConnectorAction/createGenericConnectorSuccess encounter some problems: Duplicate object found during import.

I think I got into this a couple of years ago but can't remember how to fix it, can you help me?

I solved it (or patched it) renaming the Resource Object. Now the update was saved.. but I don't think this is a good approach. Do you know another way?

In Oracle Business intelligence in the em in domain-> security->credentials i want to update an already existing credential store with map and key values

key =system.user.
So when i connect to the wlst command console in MW_HOME/oracle_common/common/bin/wlst.sh
and connect to the server and execute the command

Can anyone help me modifying the credentials using a script.

After extending my domain with JRF and JRF WebService Asynchronous services, I was able to execute "createCred" and "listCred" and so on.

at the last part of a 31gb bluray h264 iso image burn
encore stops responding for 20 minutes (disappears from task manager
and performance monitor entirely) and then says 'code 6 file already exists'
the same error has occurred twice at the very end of the build
i cleared the preferences each time
any help is appreciated...

after a lot of reading and
some digging, figured out
how my system does things:
when you tell encore to write a bdmv folder
you come out with 2 folders: bdmv and a temp folder
using image burn you load up the first bdmv folder which contains
the streams, etc.
then tell image burn to load up the certificate folder
which is hiding in the temp/db/certificate directory
very clever...
disc burns successfully and menu navigation in tact on pc
and on hdtv through set top bluray

How to update songs already in the cloud??

When i download a song sometimes it comes with a random piece of grabage album artwork that some person threw on there, and when it goes into my library it is many times put into the cloud beofre i can change the information. Then when I go to change it, it fixes it in my computer without changing it in the cloud. So, for example, if i change the artwork on a song from the crappy one to the real one, it will be real on my computer, but will be the fake on on my iphone, ipad, or any other computer i used match on. I've tried updating itunes match a thousand times and I can't tell you how many times I've gon ein and manually fixed everyone but nothing seems to work. HELP!!!

How to update Payload in existing BO using Event SubProcess( Non Interrupt)

I am using oracle BPM 11.6 Version.
Let me explain the Problem :
1. CoreProcess contains Three Human Task.Following Roles
1) Approver One .
2) Approver Two.
3) Approver Three.
2. Request Created through external Application ( As-Synchronous Process )
3. PAN Card number as Correlation Key and Maintain Status element also.
Status like -- Created, cancelled ,opened, Re-opened.
4. External system have to update status on CoreProcess , using Event Subprocess ( as non interrupting Event to update Current Payload ).
Problem I am facing :
When I try to update Status , Not updated in my coreProcess payload.when ever coreProcess instance wait in any human task workspace.
Using Event subProcess ( Non interrupt Event to achive this ) but my coreProcess pay load information not changed.I tried with Update Task to achive but no option to achive this.
Can any one please help me . Thanks in advance.

A non-interrupting even subprocess will no work on a copy of the data, it works on the same copy of the data as the rest of the process. Your problem is coming from the fact that human tasks are handled by the TaskService which is external to the BPMN engine. When the human task is created a copy of the payload is sent to the TaskService. This data is kept there until the task is completed at which time the updated payload is sent back to BPM.
In your case you are updating the process data objects but that does not update the task payload as well. Unfortunately the Update Task activity does not seem to support updating the payload. I think the 2 options you would have are:
1. Use the TaskService directly as a web service to update the payload
2. Try updating the payload and then withdrawing the task. You can then possibly model a loop back to your human task in the process.

You cannot retrieve the already published site as iWeb CANNOT open it - it has no import facility.
You need your domain.sites file, which you can find under User/Library/Application Support/iWeb/domain.sites. You do not need any kind of account for this because it is your domain.sites file that resides on the hard drive of your Mac anyway. Find this file and you can alter your website.
Use a spotlight search to try and find it and if this does not work you can download something called Find Any File. If you really can't find it, then you'll have to start from scratch because iWeb cannot open a site that is already published.

i am trying create one procedure to add customers in database with customer id as input parameter..but if in the database customer detail already exists than i would like to update that detail and if its not in the database than i would like to add that detail in the databse...how could i do this ...

If your requirement is to insert in one table and if the record exists insert into other table the merge statement doesn't work
Example (please check the column name and parameter names). I don't put commit or rollback because I don't know if you control the transaction inside this procedure or outside it.

A/R invoice update error-Entry already exist in ado4

Currently I am using version PL39 when i am trying to update my A/R invoice its giving following error -This entry already exist in following table ado4[message 131-183].
As per my knowledge ado4 is history table for A/R invoices.
Kindly help me.. why this error is coming and how to resolve this error.

How to deal with "Error 1001. The specified service already exists" when install a service using installer package?

Hi everybody,
I wrote a "Class Library" project which is a service using Visual Stodio 2008 recently, then tried to use a Visual Studio 2008
Setup Project to install it.
Here is what I did for the "Class Library":
1. Finish the program.cs, Service.cs
2. Add Installer
3. Change the serviceInstaller so that "StartType" to be Aotumatic
4. Change the ServiceProcessInstaller2 so that "Account" to be LocalSystem
5.
6. Click in F5 (Start Debugging)
Here is what I did for the Setup Project:
1. Add the exe file built from the "Class Library" project to the Application Folder
2. On the Custom Action Editor, add the exe file from 1 to Install and Commit
3. Change the property of the project so that "RemovePreviousVersion" to be true
4. Click on F6(Build Solution)
Then I tried to run the msi file from the built of the Setup Project. Because I modified the two projects serveral times, I uninstalled the Class Library using "Control Panel->Add or Remove Programs" before I reinstall. Two things I notived:
1. After unstall, the registry was not cleaned up about the installed program
2. After several rounds install/uninstall, I got "Error 1001. The specified service already exists"
My questions are:
1. How to cleanup the registry when uninstall a program?
2. How to deal with the "Error 1001. The specified service already exists"?
3. Did I do anytbing wrong with the "Class Library" or the "Setup Project"?

Hi Simon, not a problem!
I spent some more time on this and here are few more notes:
it is called Major Upgrade, when you are installing new version of the product upon a previous one and
MSI supports 2 strategies:
Strategy 1. Install a new version and uninstall previous one. (Install a new version right upon previously installed version (file merging is performed based on dll version number) and the delete previously
installed files)
Strategy 2. Uninstall previous version and install a new one (Delete all previous files and install from scratch new files.)
From the first look it seems that 1st strategy is weird and buggy. But, remember, MSI is great because it's transactional!!! That means that if once some of the phases (Installation, Uninstallation, Rollback, Comit) fails, your machine
will be reverted to the previous state and it'll be still functional.
Let's consider both strategies:
Consider you have installed product_v1.msi and you want to install product_v2.msi.
Strategy 1
1. MSI engine copies files from Product_v1 directory to TEMP directory
2. MSI engine merges files based on the assembly version (between v1 and v2)
3. Once merging is completed successfully it removes files in TEMP (RemoveExistingProducts action triggers it) and you got product_v2 installed, otherwise if it fails MSI engine revert machine to V1 and copies previous files from TEMP.
Strategy 2
1. MSI engine tottaly removes all files from v1.
2. MSI engine installs v2 files and if something goes wrong you cannot revert back, because RemoveExistingProducts allready worked out and MSI doesn't have files to revert machine back
I recommend to everybody to use Strategy 1 and leverage MSI transaction functionality. And you can set this strategies by defining sequence of RemoveExistingProducts action. See more info
here. So, I think it's not even a bug in VS as I said in the upper post it is default recommened behaviour.
AND, you got "Error 1001. The specified service already exists"
because if we follow Strategy 1 MSI engine tries to install Windows Service on top of the existing service and OF COURSE it fails MSI engine (StopServices, DeleteServices actions are executed before actual
installation and they look at ServiceControl table). In order to stop service first and delete them you have to fill ServiceContol table of the MSI (and then StopServices, DeleteServices actions will recognize what to they have to stop
and delete), like this:

We can uninstall service first by following Strategy 2, but then we lose transactional support.
So, Simon did I encourage you to change your code a bit?:)
And, btw, if you don't want to change the strategy, please don't rely on SequenceID in MSI table, it can be change, you have to get the at the runtime.

That is not a feature that is supported natively within Firefox but there are various add-ons which I think will do the job you need.
The one I have used is [https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/web-slide-show/?src=search Web Slide Show]. This is primarily an add-on for viewing a slideshow of images when they are presented as thumbnails on a web page. However once you are in the slideshow there is a download button which will download all the images in the slideshow. It will automatically rename the images if an image with the same name already exists in the folder.
If you don't like that add-on then here are some others that may do the same job:

How to Update Existing BP Addresses?

I have a BP with billto(0) & shipto(1) address in SAP .
    Default Billto Address : with Address name 'David Dashu'
    Default Shipto Address : with Address name 'Abc EFG'
                Shipto Address : with Address name 'Abc'
                Shipto Address : with Address name 'David Dashu'
Now i want to update this BP with new billto & shipto address.
    Default Billto Address : with Address name 'David Dashu'

when i update BP then it shows a error 'This entry already exist'
this error for SAP does not support dupbicate address name
but how to chk dublicate addressname

Please be sure that you are not giving the same Address Code to the same BP Under the same Shitp To Address code or Bill To address Code....
If you put same for another address also it will give already exsist error.....
