OIM-OAM integration error

Have the following:
OAM - 11.1.1.5
OIM - 11.1.2

While running idmConfigTool.sh -configOIM script, I get the following errors:

Has anyone seen this? Please let me know. I confirmed from support earlier that OAM 11.1.1.5 is supported for integration with OIM 11.1.2.

This is a bug. Patch 12733108 (OAM BP02) has to be applied. The script worked fine after the patch.

OIM-OAM integration and LDAP Sync

Hello All, I have deployed OIM 11g R2 and OAM/OVD 11.1.1.5. Now I need to enable LDAP sync for OIM-OAM integration and I'm not allowed to extend Oracle schema in AD. So I decided to use OUD for FMW schema and I have completed all those steps and OUD is up and running. Since my enterprise directory is AD and OUD is my FMW directory, I need to think of a split profile setting in OVD. I'm following this link http://fusionapplications-ateam.blogspot.com/2012/04/split-profiles-with-ad-and-oid-for.html for this deployment. I have OVD adapters configured for AD, OUD, Join view and changelog. The link does not clearly explain the steps in OIM for LDAP Sync.
When I configure LDAP Sync in OIM, should I point the sync to the OUD users container?
When and how this cn=shadowentries container will be used? I understand that the password (obattributes) are used for password management by OAM, but wondering where will that get stored in OUD?
Please let me know your thoughts.

I get Access Manager login page, I can click links: register new user, reset password and I get correct OIM pages. But when I type xelsysadm and password I get error on the next page:
Error 401--Unauthorized
From RFC 2068 Hypertext Transfer Protocol -- HTTP/1.1:
10.4.2 401 Unauthorized
I can't logon to EM, OAMconsole, Weblogic etc. when the OAM is running. In OIM log I got errors from oam-agent: "User is not authorized to access resource, MinorCode: DENY, MajorCode: DENY".
I have got user xelsysadm in OIM and in LDAP, when the OAM is not running I can login to OIM, create users in OIM (they appear in OID) etc. The user xelsysadm is added to group: OAMAdministrators. Also when I try to logon to OAM console (http://idm1:7001/oamconsole) using orcladmin name I get error: Access to administration console is restricted. But when I use weblogic username (the user is in OAMAdministrators group in OID) i can get OAMconsole.
How can I change logon type in OIM?

Provide the OIM links for registration and forgot password.
If your OAM has a user store(LDAP) where OIM is provisioning, your changes will be reflected in OAM

OIM-OIA integration error

Hi,
I have installed OIA 11.1.1.5 on linux 64 bit system successfully and also installed OIM 11gR2.
OIM and OIA both are in different weblogic domains.
Now I am trying to integrate OIM with OIA.
But while doing the following step
Log in to Oracle Identity Analytics. -->Choose Administration > Configuration.-->Click Provisioning Servers.--> Click New Provisioning Server Connection-->From the Type of Provisioning Server Connection drop-down menu, select oracle.
I am not seeing "oracle" listed in the drop-down to create an oracle server connection.
I am sure that I have updated iam-context.xml to uncomment the entry. I have verified this file and this entry was uncommented out.

OIM-OAM 11g BP 02 integration not working as expected

Hi Experts,
We have OIM 11g and OAM 11g both upgraded to BP02 installed on separate hosts. We are using OID 11g as the directory servers and OVD 11g fronting OID for integration. We followed the steps mentioned in Oracle Document Oracle® Fusion Middleware Integration Guide for Oracle Access Manager 11g Release 1 (11.1.1)Part Number E15740-04 for integration purpose.
After performing all the integration tasks mentioned in the document, while testing the ingtegration, the expected results are not been serverd.
If I access OIM admin console URL, am getting default OIM admin console URl instead of OAM SSO login page for authencation. and also I am unable to login using either xelsysadm\oimadmin\oamadmin but I can login using weblogic, so this is referin to the default embeded LDAP of weblogic for credential validation.
OIM and OAM are deployed on separate hosts, please find the deployment details below.
1. JDK: 1.6.0_29
2. WLS : 10.3.5
3. LDAP: Oracle Internet Directory: 11.1.1.5.0
Oracle Virtual Directory: 11.1.1.2.0
4. Webserver: Oracle HTTP Server fronting the OIM
The Integration videa on Support.oracle assumes that all components OIM\OAM/OID/OHS being on the same host.
I have my OIM and OAM both patched to the latest BP which is BP 02. There is a support article which specifically talks about few settings ton be made for BP 02.
the article ID is 1447494.1.
Even after doing all these, the integration is not working.
As per the support article, I need to use preferred host name for agent fronting OIM as IAMSuiteAgent and if I do that, the proxying of OIM server with the webserver host will not work at all and ends with 404 not found error when I access using http://OHShost:OHSport/oim.
but if i use the name of agent i.e webserver name in the preferred host field, the redirection would happen and i get OAM SSO login page for authentication, however with the credential validation at this page, the OIM login page (http://OIMhost:OIMport/oim) is provided prompting for login again.
also if i access OIM login page http://OIMhost:OIMport/oim directly, the OAM SSO page is not coming for authentication.
I am awaiting your advice\suggestions or workarounds if any one has come across this kind of issue, which i am sure is an obvious case.

OIM AD Integration - 'User must change password at next logon'

Hi,
These are the issues in OIM AD integration that we are stuck up on:
Issue:
1. When OIM Admin resets the password for User1 in OIM, the password is propagated to AD but the ‘User must change password at next logon’ attribute is not updated in AD. As a result, if the User1 logs into AD account (i.e. computer), there is no prompt to change the password.
2. When AD Admin resets the password for User1 in AD and checks the ‘User must change password at next logon’ flag, the password is propagated to OIM but the ‘obpasswordchangeflag’ attribute (of oblixPersonPwdPolicy class) is not updated in OID. As a result, if the User1 logs into OIM account, there is no prompt to change the password.
Research:
1. For case 1 above: When OIM Admin resets the password for User1, the ‘User must change password at next logon’ attribute on the AD process form itself is not getting updated. So the AD Connector doesn’t propagate the attribute to AD.
2. For case 2 above: When the AD Admin resets the password for User1 in AD, the AD Password Sync connector only sends the password to OIM and not other attribute. So, there is no way to fetch the ‘User must change password at next logon’ attribute and then copy it into ‘obpasswordchangeflag’ attribute in OID.
Environment Details:
1. OIM-OAM-OAAM 11.1.1.5 BP02 integrated using OVD-OID 11.1.1.5
2. AD on WIN 2008 R2.
3. OIM AD Connector 9.1.1.7.2
4. AD Password Sync Connector 9.1.1.5
Any help would be highly appreciated!

I did not get you completely here. Can you please elaborate on the "process task on the AD Process which passes along the USR_PWD_MUST_CHANGE and immediately sets it to 0 this should work". How many total additional tasks would be needed here?
what all targets are you provisioning the password to?
- AD and OID (through LDAPSYNC)
where are end users allowed to change their passwords on (OIM,AD....??)
- Both OIM and AD.
Where can admins change the passwords?
- Currently they use ARS for such purposes but this is something we need to clearly define. The thing is, they use ARS for whole lot of purposes and we can't dictate/restrict them to use OIM only for password resets. So they may use ARS or OIM.
What do you suggest?

OAM Integration

Hi,
I'm new to the OIM/OAM technologies. Since there is a paper about how to integrate APEX with OAM, could anyone explain what specific components of OIM/OAM do I need for this integration? In terms of user management, I need a database repository that stores the users and authorizations. Regarding authentication, I would like to see if it can also connect to our Microsoft AD Server.

Hi,
Can you please explain what a GRCC application is?
If its just like a jsp web application, then all you would need is a webgate and not an access gate.
So, install webgate on Apache web server and create policy domain etc.,
I would suggest to test this first using Access Tester.

I am developing POS Application in Oracle(Forms6i/Reports6i). I design the Invoice Print Format in Reports6i and call from the Invoice Form. When the
user save the Invoice I Commit the Invoice and call the Invoice Report for Printing Immediately. I use Epson TM U210B Label Printer for Billing. Sometimes the Invoice Print is not coming in the Printer and it gives the
following error(especially the First print after restart the computer).

After that if you print further for transaction no plm. only it gives the error first time of print

As Petr said make sure you're reports25_tmp is set in your registry and that the directory exists AND you have the rights to write to that directory.
You can also get this error if you try to issue a 2nd asynchronous run_product call to run a report and there is another one running. For this, Oracle has two 'solutions'.
1) Do not run more then one asynchronous report per session
or
2) Use a delay loop before calling the next report.
It's been my experience that #2 is worthless as, if it works, is doing pretty much the same thing as #1. I really hope this gets fixed (for good) at some point...somehow. <G>

Run report --- Integration Error ----SSL failure

I have a form that call a report through the Run_Product Built, this works fine on Developer 6 version, but after I upgraded to 6i, everytime I press the buttonn that call the report, an error message will appear that say "FRM-41211 Integration Error SSL failure running another product" after the Report Background Engine appeared. And the report will not start.
But if I press the button again, all will be fine.
Does anyone know what happens ?

It is a bug in Forms 6i and possible workaround (from Metalink) is:
WORKAROUND as follows :
This brings up the Background Engine on startup and minimizes it.
1. Create a shortcut for rwrbe60.exe and do a CTRL+C to copy it.
2. Right click on the TASK BAR at the bottom of the screen and get the TASKBAR
Properties box up.
3. Select ADVANCED
4. Expand Tree for PROGRAMS.
5. Click of STARTUP folder.
6. Do a CTRL+V to Paste in the Shortcut to rwrbe60.exe.
7. Right Click on Shortcut and select Properties.
8. Click Shortcut Tab.
9. Make sure of the following fields are as follows:
TARGET : {drive}:\{path}\rwrbe60.exe /c
START IN : Is the location of your Reports and Forms.
SHORTCUT KEY : None
RUN : MINIMIZED

Anybody knows what could be the possible problem and how to solve it. This error is coming when I am running RUN_PRODUCT built-in forms 6i, that application was running for 2 years in Forms 5, without any problem.
I have included the message what Forms doucmentaion had.

I got this error when I was using 4.5, it may be caused by the
correctness of report_path in registry.

I am facing some problem while running reports from forms
SERVER:
•     OPERATING SYSTEM: Windows.8
•     Database: ORACLE 11g
•     Forms & Reports = 6i.
In form when click any report button to call report some time error comes.

Forms/Reports 6i on Windows 8? I very much doubt that this is going to work. The last supported OS for Forms/Reports 6i was Windows XP.

I think you are good at oracleDS 10g and it is running on your machine successfully. But I am not able to run any form on my system.
My OS is Win XP with service Pack 2
Installed Oracle Database 10g
Installed Oracle DS 10g
Able to run reports on paper layout and web layout, But can not run forms. Error is shown on the IE Ver 7. Only source code is displayed. can you help me out from this.

Forms / Reports 6i - slow starting printing & FRM-41211 Integration error

We are having a problem with Forms / Reports 6i that seems to be slowly getting worse.
When beginning printing, the CPU usage goes up to 100%. In task manager I can see IFRUN60.EXE or RWRBE60.EXE, or IFBLD60.EXE or RWBLD60.EXE taking up 70% or so of the CPU time with the rest being taken up by the SPOOLSV.EXE spooler service.
This can be observed when
* Starting the Reports background generator from the Forms runtime
* Printing from a "print form" function inside the Forms runtime
* Starting Reports builder
* Printing from Reports Builder
* Printing from Forms Builder
The big problem is launching Reports from the Forms runtime. If this CPU / Spooler wheel spinning takes more than 30 seconds or so (and it can on slower machines), Forms thinks that it has failed to launch Reports and gives the error "FRM-41211 Integration error: SSL failure running another product" Eventually the reports background generator will finish launching.
This happens on NT 4, 2000, XP, and 2003 server. I have tried this in a "clean" configuration where nothing else (no extra services or anything) is running at all and this still happens. We are currently running Forms & Reports Patchset 17.
Does anyone have any idea what is causing this? Thanks.

We have a client/server setup. We are running 6i forms and reports, with a 9 database.
There have been no changes to these forms or reports. And it doesn't happen all the time. It just happens every-so-often.
EDIT - I guess it has been doing this for the past 3 weeks. One user says it happens everytime she tries to print anything from a form......
I've searched the forum about this and there are a lot of unanswered questions. I'm thinking my chances are slim on figuring this out.
