Okay i made an itunes account on my computer with all my music and one on my new iphone does it matter if after i download the songs to my iphone if i switch back to account i just made ?
I downloaded the music from my old itunes account onto my iphone. Will anything change if i log out and log in to the new account i just made ?
You will not be able to log in with the old account again fior 90 days. Also, purchases are NOT transferable between AppleIDs. Unless you have a pressing need for more than one iTunes account, you should stick with one. Life will be simplier.

It doesn't matter what it is in your backup that's causing the problem because you can not selectively restore things from your backup. It's all or nothing.
Set you phone up as a new device and start over. -
My ipad will not sync with my library in itunes, i have music and films in my itunes library but they will not transfer to my ipad. I have just carried out a restart to factory settings and then sync of my back up but still no joy. Any suggestions?
Have you selected the content to sync to your iPad in your sync settings in iTunes. The content that you want to transfer must be selected (checked or "ticked") to sync out will not transfer when you sync.
For instance - if you want to sync music....
Connect the iPad to the computer and launch iTunes.
Click on the iPad name on the left side under devices.
Click on the Music Tab on the right.
Click on the albums or playlists that you want to sync - or the entire library if you like.
Click on the Sync Music Heading.
Click on Apply in the lower right corner of iTunes
This applies to all content that you want to transfer from iTunes to your iPad. Make the selections in the appropriate tabs in the iTunes window on the right. -

A painless way to do it ...
From your Old Computer... Copy your ENTIRE iTunes FOLDER to an External Drive... and then from the External Drive to your New Computer..

Delete the affected email account from your device.
Tap Settings > Mail, Contacts, Calendars.
Choose the affected email account, then tap Delete Account.

I've always kept all my music on its own dedicated internal hard drive. Now I've got a new PC, finally made the switch to Windows 7 from XP, and I've moved my internal hard drive over to the new machine.
I installed iTunes, but I'm having a heck of a time getting it to import the music and library files, keeping all my playlists and metadata. Why is this so hard?If your New to You Used Mac is froom mid 2012 and originally came with Lion installed on it you will need to Reinstall that version using the Online Internet Recovery system and then at first boot of the new install use the Setup Assistant system to copy over all the data from your wifes old hard drive.
To access the Online system at startup hold down the Command + Option/alt + r keys and keep them held down until you see a globe on the screen. From the resulting screen that cames up, Mac OS X Utilities, select Disk Utility and then the top most entry for the hard drive, left hand panel, drive model number and size, and then the Partition tab. Repartition the drive as One Partition, You Must do that to get ride of the Mavericks Recovery HD partition which is hidden. Name the partition Macintosh HD with a format of Mac OS Extended (Journaled).
Once that is done exit disk utility and select Reinstall Mac OS X. -
I have two Itune libraries one on my home computer and one on my laptop. I have been able to download one library to my IPhone (home computer) but not the other. How can I merge these two so I can use both computers or can I???? Help! I called my Apple store for an appointment to figure this out and they aren't even answering the phone!!

I just added songs to my library but when I connected my iPhone 4 to my macbook pro, iTunes wouldnt let me take those songs and put them on my phone. I've clicked the sync button but it seems to say that it'll delete all my existing songs on my phone then put the other songs on it in replace. Unless I'm reading it wrong, can anyone help me?

I am unable to download itunes songs purchase on my iphone. I have recieve a download error that says tap to retry. I do that and keep receiving the same error. I have read some responses to try to pause the download once it is downloading and also to restart the phone, but neither have worked for me,
If you really are running OS 10.4.6 you have a long way to go!

I have two yahoo mail accounts. I went to bed and both were accessible on my iphone. I woke up and one was not able to receive any mail. I have deleted the account and added it back and changed the password. Still does not work. Any help?
Download the yahoo email app, if you already deleted and reinstalled the email account and still have issue.

I went to our local Apple Store and asked this questions and they told me I could bring in both computers and they would do it and it would cost $100.00. I thought that was rediculous.
Anyway, I turned on the homesharing for both computers and got everything to show up on my Mac, but it isn't in the "Library" it is in the middle of the left column as more of a file.
So I wonder, do I have to always be hooked up to the wifi here at home in order to get the file? If I'm out of the house using my computer will the file show up with all my music? I want to have my music permanently on my Mac. I don't want to use my PC for my iphone and music anymore. I've had too many problems trying to sync my iphone and keeping iTunes working correctly from my PC. This is why I finally bought a Mac.
