I have been having the same issue but I think I fixed my problem. In iCal, click iCal, Preferences, Accounts and retype your password. That seems to have done the trick for me as far as I can tell.

Your i-device was not designed for unique storage of your media. It is not a backup device and media transfer was planned with you maintaining a master copy of your media on a computer which is itself properly backed up against loss. Syncing is one way, computer to device, updating the device content to the content on the computer, not updating or restoring content on a computer. The exception is iTunes Store purchases which can be transferred to a computer.

I keep Itunes on my corporate PC and I just received a new PC after the old one crashed. I installed ITunes and connected my IPod Nano and was saw a window that indicated my Ipod was linked to a different library and I would like to change. If it is set to update automatically you'll get a message that it is linked to a different library and asking if you want to link to this one and replace all your songs etc, press "Cancel". Pressing "Erase and Sync" will irretrievably remove all the songs from your iPod. Whichever of these retrieval methods you choose, keep your iPod in manual mode until you have reloaded your iTunes and you are happy with your playlists etc then it will be safe to return it auto-sync. I would also advise that you get yourself an external hard drive and back your stuff up, relying on an iPod as your sole backup is not a good idea and external drives are comparatively inexpensive these days, you can get loads of storage for a reasonable outlay.

ok, i just bought the ipod video and am having troubles with putting songs into it.
i know when u connect the ipod to ur computer, it automatically syncs all the songs u have in ur library to ur ipod.
so i took mine to one of my friends house and updated my ipod with his computer. so now i have 1016 good songs. but i can't update it with my computer now because i don't have the songs (that are in my ipod) in my computer.
so if i updated my ipod w/ mine, it'd delete the songs i got from my friends house.
so now, i have to go over to his house everytime i wanna update my ipod, and trust me it's pain in my little toush
so please tell me if there is anyway for my to tranport the songs FROM my ipod TO my computer or just update it with my computer without erasing the previous songs.

Correct. Apple made it this way to help prevent illegal file sharing of copyrighted material.

An older style Ipod has over 10,000 songs on it. The original computer that contained these songs on itunes has since been replaced. Can itunes/match get the songs from this ipod to store in match and then put on new computer/itunes?

Can this new service of itunes/match allow you to retrieve songs from an older style ipod, store them in match, and then download them onto a new computer/itunes? The original computer that contained these songs has since been replaced b/c it broke down. There were alot of songs on there and now I can't get the songs onto my new computer. I have a second generation iPod Touch. It's an 8GB. I had basically filled it to capacity with music with a few apps and videos on there. Then, my computer crashed. I have alist of students say A(name, class, subjects, teacher).
I need to display all the items in the list A into JSP,
and then also the details of (name, class, subjects, teacher).
in the action class,
After getting the list of students from the database with ORM Layer(Toplink),
I set request.setAttribute("students",listOfStudents).
And then Iterate over the list and pass the parameter as student ID to the functions
getClass(), getSubject(), getTeacher().

The problem I am facing is
If the last student has no subjects, no teachers
It is displaying null for all the other students.
I am understanding that the values are getting overwitten in the loop and the is frwede to JSP with the recentmost values for the attributes.
What could be a possible solution so that I retrieve the values for individual students and will be able to display on JSP?
((Please ignore any syntax in theabove example it is just a mock up created from the real problem)

The issue here is while you are retrieving all the details, you are consistently overwriting them in the request.setAttribute() call before you get to the JSP to display them.
Do you actually have a class/object called Student?
That object should have attributes for classes, subjects, teachers (all of which are lists apparently)
public class Student{

List classes;
List subjects;
List teachers;
// appropriate getter/setter methods
}Then you load each student, and populate its individual lists.
That lets you pass the list of students, each student having its own lists for display.

I have Windows 7 64bit OS. I download all softwares in 64 bit version.I just download Oracle sql developer
4.0 (4.0.0.13.80) and jdk 7 u45 with netbeans 7.4 and i also download jre 7, all software are successfully installed on my system. but when i open sql developer ,it prompt for path of java.exe but i cant find the path. in "C:\programs files\jdk7\bin\" but there is no .exe files.
please help me or guide me , what to do???

The easiest thing to do is download this:
"Windows 64-bit - zip file includes the JDK 7"
When you run the EXE, it won't prompt for anything, it will just run.
In fact, if you have the JDK properly installed on Windows, the exe won't prompt for the location of Java anymore, so it sounds like you may have an install problem with your Netbeans install?
