One particular Google calendar not appearing

Received my new iPad 2 yesteday, just setting everything up.
I have multiple Google calendars.
I've set up a CalDAV calendar account (which I did so that my calendar colours would sync correctly), and it works fine except that one particular calendar (a new one that I set up yesterday), does not appear in the list of calendars. All of the others are there fine (and with the correct colours, yay!)
I've been to m.google.com/sync and made sure all calendars are ticked, but this one new calendar obstinately refuses to appear.
Any ideas?
Cheers,
Bernie

  • Google calendar not synching

    Hi
I have a Bold 9900. 7.1 software. BIS. GiffGaff (part of O2) service provider.
I have several google accounts and have been running the emails and calenders off the BB very well for several years now. I use Goolge 2 step authentication.
I recently changed the passwords on my google accounts. Since then I have been getting emails from BIS saying 'Calendar events have stopped being syncronized between mygoogle account and your BlackBerry device.' It then goes on to tell me to go into my email settings and check the sycronisation. I do this, no change.
    So far I have tried:
    deleting and re-entering accounts
    sending service books
I also see a similar issue reported on this long post:
    http://supportforums.blackberry.com/t5/BlackBerry-Bold/Google-calendar-not-synching/td-p/1706561
Among other things I see that I could perhaps trying deleing the accounts again then clearing the calendar entries via the desktop software before re-entering the accounts. However, I can see that this did not work for the person at the centre of the thread whose problem sounds like mine.
I also see that he had contact with RIM directly and that they solved his problem. Not sure how I would go about this and whether it would cost me.
Can anyone shed any light on any of this? Does the password change detail give a clue??
Soooo frustrating as it worked perfectly for years.
    All help appreciated!

Caldav and Carddav is all that Google supports, along with IMAP email. I haven't used a Bold in two years so don't recall the setup procedure for caldav and carddav on the Bold. If there's no caldav or carddav then you can't sync. BB10 has both of those.
It's not an issue that BB can correct. It's a feature that Google removed.

  • Has anyone started having trouble with google calendar syncing / showing up on their iPhone 4s or iPad? As of today my google calendar not longer appears on either device.

Has anyone started having trouble with google calendar syncing / showing up on their iPhone 4s or iPad 2? As of today it no longer shows up. Thanks.

Let me re-qualify my issue. Under my Google Calendar account I have the main calendar I originally set up when setting up my account. I then set up several other calendars under this same account such as events, work, family and so on. All the calendars showed up on my iPhone and iPad with no problem and worked great for a year and a half now until yesterday. My main calendar does still show up but the others no longer appear on my devices. Going on line to look at my Google calendar/calendars everything is fine with all of them. Any thoughts as to why they no longer show up on my iPhone or iPad? Thanks again.

  • Google Calendar not showing?

I've set up Google calendar to sync with my iPhone 4 via Exchange.
Thing is, I've several calendars under one Google account.
When I set up my google account via exchange, it now only shows just one calendar. All the other calendars do not appear on my calendar app. It didn't use to be the case with my 3GS, but now with my 4 it is the case.
Can anyone tell me what I did wrong please?
I set up my iPhone 4 through backed-up data on iTunes, have deleted the account and re-created that account in settings. Ensure that all calendar are checked on google, but still no go.
    Please help me.
    Thanks in advance.

    On my iPhone 3GS
When I load my Calendar it is empty. If I click another view, eg, monthly view and then return to the list view, the calendar entries are displayed properly.
Also if I go to calendars and change which calendars to use back and forth it fixes it.
If I leave the app in background mode, it appears fine, as soon as I kill it off from background mode and then restart it, it displays empty again.
*This is looking and behaving like a bug in the iOS 4.2(?) app backgrounding code to me.*
Would appreciate help, may not sound like a big deal but its a pain in the arse not to have your calendar list display when you load it. If I wanted to jump through hoops I'd use Windows

  • Google Calendar not syncing

I've spent hours trying to solve this with no solution and it's a major problem for me and an actual dealbreaker, so I'd like to thank you all in advance for any help you're able to offer. I rely heavily on Google Calendar and have two Gmail accounts - work and a Google Business email account. I use multiple Calendars for both accounts, and none seem to be supported by BlackBerry 10. Personal Gmail
After trying many times, two things keep happening:
1.) When I enter my Gmail details, contacts and emails are fine. Calendar also appears on the list, but when I open up the calendar app, only the local Calendar is shown. The devcal settings are there and correct, but nothing appears. 2.) Sometimes when I re-add the Gmail account to try and resolve this issue, I get an error message saying that it cannot connect or authenticate with the server. Again, no calendar. Work Gmail
With my work gmail account, I don't even get as far as the steps above. When I enter my details (via the specified Gmail selection in 'create new account', I only get email. Also, my work gmail contacts (with the database of company emails) also aren't showing up, meaning I have to type each work email address out manually. This is a real deal breaker for me and I'd really appreciate any help or input if this is happening to anyone else. I know I know I'm not the only one with this problem: https://productforums.google.com/forum/#!msg/calendar/5KEecRbDrCQ/1Nma0GkzuKgJ and have similar problems on my PlayBook. IS Google Calendar simply not supported in BB10? Because that's really quite bad. Coupled with the bad Maps app makes this a real deal breaker, which is a massive shame as I like everything else about the Z10 and BB10. Thanks for the help.

    Hello all,
I just picked up a Z10 on Tuesday in Canada and, like the rest of you, could not sync my Google calendars to the Z10 with the default Gmail setup. The following is an explanation of how I managed to sync multiple Google calendars (all linked to the same email address).
First, I followed the instructions posted by Blackberry to connect to Gmail through Microsoft Exchange ActiveSync. That took care of syncing up my contacts, emails, and my primary google calendar. I also have a work calendar and a Canadian Holiday calendar linked to the same email address and I wanted those available on my phone without adding a bunch of different accounts.
Next I followed these directions to sync up all of my google calendars. They are written for the Playbook, but it's the same process for the Z10. I also enabled "Delete Email as Trash", because when I click "delete email" I don't want to archive it, despite Google setting that as the default behaviour... Needless to say, piecing together this information was quite a task, and enabling multiple calendar sync is way more complicated than it should be. I have read that Google is not supporting new ActiveSync activations for free users, so this method may not work for people who have never used ActiveSync with Google. I'm not sure if the problem is on Blackberry's side or Google's, but this type of bug is probably only scaring new Blackberry users away. I hope that the issue is resolved soon.

  • Google calendar not syncing anymore with my BB and vice-versa

    Hi everyone!
A few days ago, I updated my BB curve 9360 to OS 7.1 and earlier today I noticed that my Google calendar was not syncing properly... Well wasn't syncing at all. However I received mails and was able to delete them correctly
First I noticed, that my email address was not registered as a calendar anymore. Then I tried to send service books which added my Google calendar as default calendar in my BlackBerry (good thing I guess).
But that's all it did. Now, when I add a new event in Google calendar using my BB, it doesn't sync with the Internet-based calendar and when I add a new event in Google calendar, it does not sync with my BB either (and I have waited more than 30 minutes).
So here is what I can do to try and solve this problem:
-Send service books one more time but I don't think it is very useful
-Delete my email account and setting it up once again
So I am completely lost because it has always worked until I updated my OS from 7.0 to 7.1. My data plan hasn't changed.
    Thank you for your help
    Regards,

    Hi ThomasDM,
Welcome to the BlackBerry Support Community.
To resolve this issue with calendar synchronization, please try forcing a Gmail® synchronization on the BlackBerry® Curve™ 9360 smartphone. Before doing this could you please verify once more that your default calendar on the BlackBerry® Curve™ 9360 smartphone is still listed as your Gmail® account?
    1. Click the Menu key > Options > under Accounts click the Gmail® account > remove the Checkmark from Wireless Synchronization > click the Back menu key and Save
    2. Under Accounts click the Gmail® account > place a Checkmark in the Wireless Synchronization   box > click the Back menu key and Save
Note: The following prompt will appear " Some of your calendar changes might be lost. Enable wireless Calendar?" Yes or No. Click Yes
    Hope this helps.

  • Calendar added in Google Calendar not updating in iCal

    Hi,
I added a new calendar (my hockey schedule from the leagues website) and it appeared in the 'other calendars' section in Google Calendar. I'm using Google Sync with iCal to keep them in sync. The problem is that this calendar didn't sync to my iCal calendar. When I add individual events in Google Calendar it updates automatically in my iCal application and vice versa.
Any help would be much appreciated,
    Brandon
    I'm using:
    Google Calendar and Sync

Here is something to try to see if it is an account issue or a system wide issue.
If you create a new user account and try syncing just the calendar events, does it sync from the iphone to the computer.
To test this open system preferences and go to accounts.
Create a new account, call it test or something.
    Log into the new account.
Open ical ant put in at least one event. If you do not put at least one event into ical, itunes does not know to merge the data and could erase the events on the iphone.
Once the test event is in ical, open itunes and go through the initial setup.
Then connect the iphone and sync just the calendar events.
    Hope this helps.

  • Calendar not appearing in sync tab on MobileMe System Preferences

The Calendar check box is not appearing in sync tab on MobileMe System Preferences.
When I opened SP, MobileMe and sync tab, I can Calendar showing up and disappearing right away. What is this?
I am sorry if it was already discussed, but I could not find it. I can see topics about iCal bug and syncs but not specificaly this one.
    Thanks for any help.
    Mario Lordeiro

    Mario,
The calendar sync has been removed from the MobileMe Sync preference pane, but I have seen the problem you have described, and can invoke it by accessing the "Open MobileMe Preferences...> selction through the sync icon menu item (Option + Click):
Then I am presented with this:
The "Calendars" choice disappears when I access the sync preference directly from System Preferences.
Seems like a bug to me.

  • Google Calendars not showing up on iOS 7 after deletion and re-entering of information

This issue started when I was trying to get a shared Google calendar on my device. When I deleted the Gmail account completely and re-entered information, none of the Google calendars would show up. The calendar sharing is enabled from the Google account. I know that for sure because I can see them on Calendar on my mac. CalDAV does not work.
    iPhone 5c
    iOS 7.1.2

I had a similar problem as you and went through the different suggestions with no success. What did it for me in the end was a simple "reset all settings" under Settings app -> General -> Reset. You will have to reconfigure a few things e.g. wifi password, wallpaper setting, ringtone etc; but you will regain access to your calendar sync.
(I updated from iPad 2 with iOS 6.1 to iPad Air, used the back up and restore option. The old gmail calendar (which used the exchange protocol) appeared but I soon realised that all the new events I added since then were not synced to the iPad air, i.e. the iPad Air is only displaying all the calendar items that were already there in the iPad 2 but it's not actually synced to the Google server. I then deleted the exchange account altogether (as I realised Google stopped supporting the exchange protocol in new devices), and tried to set up a new CalDAV account via the instructions by Google, and this is how I ran into "no calendar showing" situation)

  • Google Calendars not showing up in iCal

I have just arranged to sync up google calendars with iCal, but for some reason I can see them on the mac, but not when I look at the iPad, even after synching and selecting "all calendars"
    Any advice?

Here is the weird problem I am having. I have done the sync and followed the steps with the /syncselect link. However, I can get ONLY my sub calendars to appear in iCal and not my default (main) Google calendar.
I've removed the account from my mac, added it again, that didn't work. Then I removed the sub calendars, added those again (through sync select), neither of those worked. I even tried to add it in as a manual calendar using the long URL specific to the calendar with the /user at the end (CalDAV old settings) but that also didn't work.
    Anyone else had this issue?

  • Calendar sync future appointments Google Calendar not showing up

I'm hoping someone can shed some light on this issue for me. My google calendar syncs fine with the appointments in the current year, however i have some future appointments 1-3 years out which i can't see in my BB but i can see them in Google Calendar via browser after i click "look for more" to show future dates.
Does BB10 only sync the current year appointments?

  • Google calendars not showing in Calendar app on iPad Air?

I've gone to Google sync settings mobile devices, but my iPad air does not show up there nor do the calendars on the calendar app. My iPhone syncs with my Google calendars, and so did my previous iPad. Deleting the account and re-adding them doesn't fix the problem. The only calendar that shows up is the iCloud calendar.
This is really frustrating as I have both Google calendar setup with the Gmail option in iOS as well as with Exchange, but none of these work.
    I would appreciate any help.
