Open dynamic tab from remote page

Hi!
I have a question. We use JDeveloper 11.1.2.1.0
We are using dynamicTabShell template for dynamic tabs managment in our application. Everything works as it should if page is using dnymicTabShell template. But...
I would like to have a Home.jspx that would load when client logs in. Home should be a special page without dynamic tabs support. I would like to have quick links on Home.jspx that would open certain page and bounded task flow with page fragments in application. How can I achieve that? Do I have to enable URL invoke property? Problem is, we implemented custom security that checks if client has proper permissions before task flow is launched through _launchActivity* method in launcher.java. URL invokation would make security more complex.
In fewer words: Is there's a way of opening certain tab in application from page that does not use dynamicTabShell template? Or do I have to enable URL invoke property on bounded task flows with page fragments? How can I then check permissions if task flow is reachable through URL.
I hope I'm being clear.

OK, is there no other way of opening a bounded task flow with page fragments in a page (which is using dynamicTabShell template) from other page that is not using dynamicTabShell template?
Maybe calling _launchActivity in beforePhase is completely wrong approach, because "java.lang.NullPointerException: UIComponent is null" is returned.

I checked out what you were talking about and it makes sense.
I used something similar a few months back on some tabbed panels
actually. Didn't think about applying it to Collapsible Panels.
Except that I'm not sure how to translate it over to a
Collapsible Panel.

But the C.P. are not contained inside of a group to make a
complete set. On the Spry Example Page from the link in my above
post they have put the C.P. into a group - to make it function. But
again this only seems to work when the link is on the same page as
the Collapsible Panels.
The panel call after the question mark "?" doesn't work and I
don't know what to swap it with. I also tried to put my C.P. into a
group and hope it would accept the order [for lack of a better
term] of the Panels and that did nothing either.
I am profienct with XHTML and CSS but rather weak in
JavaScript.
So is there anyway you or someone could translate your
"theory" if possible ?

Open new tab from any webpage, click any link on new tab, waits till the page is loaded and try to go back one page on new tab (arrow is disabled).

It happens whenever I open new tab from any wabpage. Once the tab is opened and initial webpage is loaded I may use any link to jump on another, second webpage in same tab. However, if I want to go back on initial webpage I can't do it cause that option (arrow) is disabled. I could use link on second webpage to jump on third, and only at that moment go back option becomes available again. However, I could not ever go back on initial webpage any more. As initial webpage has never existed.
It happens quite often (95%).

Right click the Back button and select the page you want to go back to from the list.
If the list is too long to display via the Back button, hit CTRL+H, change the view to "Last Visited" and then load it from there instead.

If you see files sessionstore-##.js with a number in the left part of the name like sessionstore-1.js then delete those as well.
Deleting sessionstore.js will cause App Tabs and Tab Groups to get lost, so you will have to create them again (make a note).

How to open "All Tabs" from previously shown pages history. I am not asking about "Reopen from last session". I am asking about how to open all tabs from previous webpage links from a past date from history, currently its allowing me to select each page link manually by clicking it.

Select the first item you wish to open, scroll down to the last, Shift-click that one & all those between should be selected too. Double-click on them & they should all start to open... or you can copy & then drag/paste into a new or existing bookmarks folder.

How can I stop firefox from opening mulitiple tabs from past sessions everytime I start Firefox?

When I start Firefox from my task bar (windows 8) Firefox opens tabs from the previous secession. I'm using Yahoo as my home page.

You can check if you have a user.js file in the Firefox profile folder that sets the browser.sessionstore.resume_session_once pref to true.

Firefox opens a new window with sites I never visited and don't want, I can not close these tabs or open another tab from them.

I open a new window and two sites appear, One I had never heard of till now. Digg. I can't open a new tab from these tabs, there is never an x on the tab and close all other tabs does not get rid of them.

Do a malware check with a few malware scan programs. 
You need to use all programs because each detects different malware. 
Make sure that you update each program to get the latest version of the database before doing a scan.

Cannot open new tab or addons page

Hi!
After upgrade Firefox from version 26 to 27 or 27.0.1 I have strange issue.
I Cannot open new tab, when I`m clicking on the plus button or CTRL+T key combination blank space is visible between tab and plus button (see attachment).
Also, I can`t open Addons page.
I`ve trying to run Firefox in safe mode, deleting Profile, reseting to default settings, disable hardware acceleration.
None of above helped :(

Closing tab from home page link

I changed a setting in FF that I can no longer find. Previous to the change, I was able to do a 'page back' to return to my homepage (iGoogle) after opening a link from the homepage. Now, all links from my homepage open in a new tab rather than allowing the 'page back.' I've scoured every option in the help>options menu but can't find the setting. As I recall, it was on a page in which the option I changed was at the bottom separated from the other options. Would appreciate any suggestions. Thanks in advance.

Hello Bob.
You probably went into Tools > Options > Tabs and changed the "open links that open in a new window" option. Try that one.
Also, I will remind you that you can simply middle-click any link for it to open on a new tab.
Also, you can use a very handy extension called [https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/1859/ Tab History] that will keep the history of your tab (back button) when you open links on a new tab. It's very cool and very helpful.

Every time I launch Firefox 4 it opens 3 or 4 blank windows, no longer opens the tabs from the previous session and does not show my bookmarks sidebar.

I have to manually close the extra windows and restore the tabs from the previous session, and reopen the sidebar. In disgust I uninstalled Firefox 4 and reinstalled 3.6. Everything works fine in 3.6. Looks to me like Firefox 4 has many major bugs and is not yet ready for prime time. I'll stay with 3.6 for now.

Download to excel in different tabs from bsp page

Hi all,
I have a requirement in which I have to download to xl-sheet in different tabs based on some conditions from a bsp page.
I am successful in downloading data into different tabs.
Now I had written the piece of code required to download to xl in a function module
and I am calling that function module when pressing a button in bsp page.
When I run the fm seperately its working but when I run it from bsp page its not working.But while debugging I found that the fm is being called and executed perfectly without any errors.
But the xl is not being created on our side.
Can anyone suggest me how to proceed on this.

Opening downloaded templates from the Pages start menu

can you do that? i downloaded a template for avery address labels and just have it sitting on my desktop right now. is there any way i can integrate it into my pages application thing so when i click to open the program, that template is one of the option i have to choose from?

Pages stores documents you created & saved as templates in HD > Users > [your account] > Library > Application Support > iWork > Pages > Templates > My Templates. You can also move any downloaded templates into this folder to be available in the Pages template chooser. If you haven't saved any templates you've made, this folder path won't exist. The easiest & safest way to create it is to save a template. If you create it yourself, there is always the chance you may misname one or more. I have put an alias of this My Templates folder in a couple of places - in a folder of frequently accessed folders & files in my Dock and in the toolbar of Finder windows. You could also put it in the left panel of a Finder window. I find this is a much easier way for me to access my templates rather than using the Pages template chooser.
