ORA-40101: Data Mining System Error ORA-40101: Data Mining System Error ORA

Hi,
I'm using Oracle 10.2.0.1.0 with Data Mining. I was able to build and apply models on my data using the OD Miner tool. However, I'm unable to do so programatically. Even the demo programs give the same error
ocBuildTask_jdm is started, please wait. ocBuildTask_jdm is failed.

    Hi,
    You should also consider looking at the pl/sql implementations/apis for data mining.
    There is more data mining functionality within the pl/sql domain and that is defintely where the emphasis will be going forward.
    To gain appreciation for the pl/sql approach you can do the following:
    1) Using Data Miner Classic, it provides an option to generate pl/sql code to replicate a mining activity.
    2) Using Data Miner Workflow, you can generate the sql for transformations.
    We will be coming out with broader sql script generation for workflows in future releases.
    3) Oracle Data Mining has sample code available on OTN.

  • ORA-28522 error when reading data from DB2 via hsodbc

    Hi All,
    I'm trying to connect to a DB2 database running on an AS/400 system, via Oracle HS.
    I'm using Oracle 9.2.08. The DB2 version is V4R5.
    My ODBC DSN is called TEST_odbc.
    The initTEST_sid.ora file contains the following:
    HS_FDS_CONNECT_INFO = TEST_odbc
    My Listener.ora file contains the following:

    SID_LIST_LISTENER =
    (SID_LIST =
    (SID_DESC =
    (PROGRAM = hsodbc)
    (ORACLE_HOME = D:\oracle\ora92)
    (SID_NAME = TEST_sid)
    My TNSNames.ora file contains:
    TEST_name =
    (DESCRIPTION =
    (ADDRESS_LIST =
    (ADDRESS = (PROTOCOL = TCP)(HOST = VM-DASHBOARDDEMO)(PORT = 1521))
    (CONNECT_DATA =
    (SID = TEST_sid)
    (HS = OK)
    When I use TNSPing, I get a successful result:

    I can then login to SQLPlus as SYSDBA, and create a database link:
    SQL> create database link TEST_link connect to "<username>" identified by "<password>" using 'TEST_name';
    Database link created.
    So far everything seems to be going well.
    But then, when I try and select some data from the linked database, i get the following:
    SQL> select * from <tablename>@TEST_link;

    Does anyone have any ideas? I'd love to get this solved!!
    Many Many Thanks,
    River

    I should have mentioned that I know that the table exists in the database.
    The main reason I'm trying to do this is because I'm trying to get the data from the DB2 DB into my Oracle DB. I have been trying the EXP utility, which gives me a different error code:

    For #5, not Windows, ConfigMgr 2012 R2. Anything before ConfigMgr 2012 R2 is not supported for the 8.1 ADK.
    For the permissions, what accounts are you setting this for. In general, if the share is on the same server, Everyone Full or Read on the Share and System Full or Read on the NTFS should work.
    For the error message, it looks like you are trying to import an OS Image and not an OS Install Package. OS images use a WIM file and OS Install Packages use the entire set of source files from the media. For OS images, you must thus explicitly point it
    to a specific WIM file.

  • Sql@loader-704  and ORA-12154: error messages when trying to load data with SQL Loader

    I have a data base with two tables that is used by Apex 4.2. One table has 800,000 records . The other has 7 million records
    The client recently upgraded from Apex 3.2 to Apex 4.2 . We exported/imported the data to the new location with no problems
    The source of the data is an old mainframe system; I needed to make changes to the source data and then load the tables.
    The first time I loaded the data i did it from a command line with SQL loader
    Now when I try to load the data I get this message:
    sql@loader-704 Internal error: ulconnect OCISERVERATTACH
    ORA-12154: tns:could not resolve the connect identifier specified
    I've searched for postings on these error message and they all seem to say that SQL Ldr can't find my TNSNAMES file.
    I am able to  connect and load data with SQL Developer; so SQL developer is able to find the TNSNAMES file
    However SQL Developer will not let me load a file this big
    I have also tried to load the file within Apex  (SQL Workshop/ Utilities) but again, the file is too big.
    So it seems like SQL Loader is the only option
    I did find one post online that said to set an environment variable with the path to the TNSNAMES file, but that didn't work..
    Not sure what else to try or where to look
    thanks

    Hi,
    You must have more than one tnsnames file or multiple installations of oracle. What i suggest you do (as I'm sure will be mentioned in ed's link that you were already pointed at) is the following (* i assume you are on windows?)
    open a command prompt
    set TNS_ADMIN=PATH_TO_DIRECTOT_THAT_CONTAINS_CORRECT_TNSNAMES_FILE (i.e. something like set TNS_ADMIN=c:\oracle\network\admin)
    This will tell oracle use the config files you find here and no others
    then try sqlldr user/pass@db (in the same dos window)
    see if that connects and let us know.
    Cheers,
    Harry

    Duh, and of course I missed the significance of
    oracle 10 Xe in unix
    XE is only supported for Linux - according to the downloads page that means "Debian, Mandriva, Novell, Red Hat and Ubuntu".
    Oracle have not publically stated the reasons why XE is only available on Linux and Windows, but my guess is that it is something to do the Intel chip architecture. If this is so it would be possible for Oracle to port XE to run on Solaris for x86. But they have not done so yet.
    Which means, alas, that you are unlikely to get any help for this one, because XE is not supported on any unix platform.
    Good luck, APC

    hi...
    finally i got the solution...i know that this problem may occur due to some other reasons also for different users...but the problem which caused the developers facing the error in this case is below:
    they faced the error while importing the dumps in the server. at the same time the application developers told that they can select the tables but cannot insert any datas.
    after listenning to this, i assumed that this may be a space problem with the system tablespace as it is responsible for storing the data dictionary.
    i asked for the free spaces for the system tablespace and got the reason. It has only 0.2% left.
    i told them to issue the resize command for the system01.dbf datafile(allocated 2GB more) and the problem got resolved.
    Hope this helps..thanks

  • Unable to open SO Form - ORA-01403: No data found error

    Hi All,
    I have created a new OU, a new INV org & sub-inventories under it in the Vision Instance 11.5.10.2. I have linked this OU to the existing LE - Vision Operation & SOB - Vision Operations.
    Then, I have created a new OM responsibility just like OM SuperUser responsibility & have set the MO: Operating Unit profile option to the newly created OU at the responsibility level & finally ran the Replicate Seed Data program for this OU as the parameter.
    When I navigate to the new responsibility & try to open on the Sales Order form, i'm getting an error as "ORA-01403 : no data found in the Package OE_Order_Cache Procedure Load_Set_Of_Books" & the SO form doesn't open at all.
    Can anyone please guide me how to resolve this issue or is there any set-up that I'm missing? The package & package body OE_ORDER_CACHE is 'VALID' in the database.
    Regards,

    Hi Hemanth,
    Hope by now ur issue is resolved.
    If not pls check the following.
    Pls check all the profile options
    GL set of books
    Mo operating unit
    These are mandatory.
    Apart from that check whether u have set the system parameters in OM and AR.
    If these parameters are not set u cannot open the sales order form.

  • When merging workspace I get ORA-01403: no data found error in WMSYS.LT

    Hi,
    I am investigating an error in a remote system with very little info to go on apart from a stacktrace! This is what it says:
    java.sql.SQLException: ORA-01403: no data found
    ORA-06512: at "WMSYS.LT", line 6028
    ORA-06512: at line 1
    The context is an attempt to merge a child workspace into LIVE (LIVE being its direct parent).
    it is on Oracle Database 11.1.0.7.
    Can you advise what this error means? I am unable to dig deeper into it because the PL-SQL source code for WMSYS.LT is wrapped.
    thanks
    Simon

    Hi,
    Are you able to get a standard trace of the error from the remote database? ora-1403 errors can come from a number of places, so an errorstack trace is usually needed to determine the cause.

  • Ora-01403: no data found error in stead off messag

    Hi all,
    In a form there is a button that calls a stored procedure. In this procedure certain checks are made and if violated, QMS$ERRORS.SHOW_MESSAGE is called. Normally we can see the message text from the messages table. However, in this paricular situation we receive ora-01403: no data found. The message shows up later, when another message is invoked.
    So, our conclusion is that the stack is not correctly read.
    Problem occurs in Client server as in Webforms.
    Architecture:
    - Designer 6.0.3.9.0
    - Forms 6.0.5.34.0
    - Oracle 8.0.5.2.1
    - Windows NT 4.0 SP5 on Client as on Server
    - Oracle Forms Generator 6.0.3.2.0
    - Headstart Template Package 5.0.4
    Template Form (qmstpl50) 5.0.2

    Event Handler Library (qmsevh50) 5.0.3.2
    Core Library (qmslib50) 5.0.4

    Sandra,
    It just happens that I am confronted with the same ora message (0ra-01403) raised apparently under similar conditions. The solution you presented, however, does not help much I am afraid in my case.
    I use a qms$errors.show_message statement in a procedure stored in a package on the database. This raises the same error that Joep receives (ora-01403). If I remove the qms$errors.show_message statement from the package no error is raised. If I use the statement in a form trigger I also do not encounter any problems. It therefore appears that the statement can not be raised from the serverside although according to the headstart 5.0.3 documentation that problem is resolved (issue 792479).
    In the headstart documentation I find a reference to qms$errors.DisplayServerQMSError. However, maybe this is outdated. This component is not included the qms$error package I have.
    Any suggestions to solve this?

    If you don't use the CDM RuleFrame version of the Headstart Template Package, normally only one message should be on the stack. It seems like in this case you have 2 messages on the stack: ORA-01403 and your custom message, and only the first is shown.
    It should not occur that there are 2 messages on the stack. Have you debugged what causes the ORA-01403? Can you catch the exception so that only your own custom message is shown?
    Hope this helps,

  • Error ORA-01403: no data found is not raised using jdbc

    Hy there I have a problem receiving exceptions from oracle jdbc driver.
    I have the following exception stack if i call insert on a view
    using an instead of trigger.
    ORA-01403: no data found
    ORA-04088: error during execution of trigger
    'MYUSER.MY_VIEW_INSERT'
    if I do the insert by sql worksheet.
    If I do same insert using the following driver
    dbDriver = new intersolv.jdbc.sequelink.SequeLinkDriver();
    I will receive this exception:
    java.sql.SQLException: [INTERSOLV][SequeLink JDBC Driver][ORACLE]ORA-01403: Keine Daten gefunden
    Now if I do same thing using oracle driver:
    dbDriver = new oracle.jdbc.driver.OracleDriver();
    there will no exception be raised!
    here is my code:
    public class myFrame extends Frame
    public static void main( String[] args )
    Frame myFrame = new Frame();
    DbPflege dbPanel = new DbPflege();
    Driver dbDriver = null;
    String connectString = null;
    try
    if( args.length != 0 )
    System.out.println( "main: use sequelink!" );
    connectString = "jdbc:sequelink://myServer:4003/[Oracle]";
    dbDriver = new intersolv.jdbc.sequelink.SequeLinkDriver();
    else
    System.out.println( "main: use oracle!" );
    connectString = "jdbc:oracle:thin:@myServer:1521:idb";
    dbDriver = new oracle.jdbc.driver.OracleDriver();
    DriverManager.registerDriver( dbDriver );
    dbPanel.con = DriverManager.getConnection(connectString, "user", "pwd" );
    catch( Exception ex )
    System.out.println( "main: ERROR: " + ex );
    ex.printStackTrace();
    void jBtnExecute_actionPerformed(java.awt.event.ActionEvent event)

    int updateCount = -1;
    int colCount = -1;

    try
    stmt = con.createStatement();
    stmt.execute( textAreaInput.getText() );
    catch( Exception ex )
    textAreaOutput.append( ex.toString() );
    thanks for your help!!!!

    Hi,
    You should run you query in sql workshop with the expected values (which are set after user clicks Save or Apply changes button) for P10_CR_BOM_CODE and P10_CR_ID.
    Also, please have an exception block in the process to catch any exception and make an appropriate Insert into some user defined error-log table. It would be better to log the P10_CR_BOM_CODE and P10_CR_ID values in case of exception.
    These might help you to figure out the cause of exception.

  • Error: ORA-16532: Data Guard broker configuration does not exist

    Hi there folks. Hope everyone is having a nice weekend.
    Anyways, we have a 10.2.0.4 rac primary and a 10.2.0.4 standby physical standby. We recently did a switchover and the dgbroker files automatically got created in the Oracle_home/dbs location of the primary. Now need to move these files to the common ASM DG. For this, I followd the steps from this doc:
    How To Move Dataguard Broker Configuration File On ASM Filesystem (Doc ID 839794.1)
    The only exception to this case is that I have to do this on a Primary and not a standby so I am disabling and enabling the Primary(and not standby as mentioned in below steps)
    To rename the broker configuration files in STANDBY to FRA/MYSTD/broker1.dat and FRA/MYSTD/broker2.dat, Follow the below steps
    1. Disable the standby database from within the broker configuration
    DGMGRL> disable database MYSTD;
    2. Stop the broker on the standby
    SQL> alter system set dg_broker_start = FALSE;
    3. Set the dg_broker_config_file1 & 2 parameters on the standby to the appropriate location required.
    SQL> alter system set dg_broker_config_file1 = '+FRA/MYSTD/broker1.dat';
    SQL> alter system set dg_broker_config_file2 = '+FRA/MYSTD/broker2.dat'
    4. Restart the broker on the standby
    SQL> alter system set dg_broker_start = TRUE
    5. From the primary, enable the standby
    DGMGRL> enable database MYSTD;
    6. Broker configuration files will be created in the new ASM location.
    I did so but when I try to enable the Primary back I get this:
    Error: ORA-16532: Data Guard broker configuration does not exist
    Configuration details cannot be determined by DGMGRL
    Form this link,(Errors setting up DataGuard Broker it would seem that I would need to recreate the configuration....Is that correct ? If yes then how come Metalink is missing this info of recreating the configuration... OR is it that that scenario wouldnt be applicable in my case ?
    Thanks for your help.

    Yes I can confirm from the gv$spparameter view that the changes are effective for all 3 instances. From the alert log the alter system didnt throw u pany errros. I didnt restart the instances though since I dont have the approvals yet. But I dont think thats required.
