Oracle ADF - popup table's record gets empty or blank after any db action.

Hi,
I am using Oracle jDev 11.1.1.4.0.
In my application i have find button in my jspx.
On click of find button i have shown popup with table.
As user selects record from popup table that record get displayed in form fields of jspx
and user can edit that record and save it in the database.
Suppose I have edited a record and saved the same in database.
Now, when I click on that find button, pop up opens but the record which I have just edited is not getting displayed correctly in the table.
Some fields are getting emptied.
I have set the property of entity object's attribute, refresh after update and insert.
But still selected record get empty in popup table after database transaction.

Dso record get modified or overwrite after data uploaded

dear BI consultants ,.
can any one answer this
The record of view2 is already uploaded to target with one barcode number if we use the date as upload criteria.
If the record from the view one is uploaded today with the same barcode number what happens .
Overwrite the record or modify the existing record ?

The problem is operation t , operation , zusr1 , zusr , is empty they must be field with the values in the view 2 .
The data is loaded based on the date criteria while loading in the info package where the data loss is happening and the data in the target is miss matching.
The process chain is working daily but the data is not loaded correctly from view 2 into info package and the psa will be not having the records.
The data field in the view one does not match with date field in the view 2 .
The key figure here is the barcode number only (so only one record exist for on barcode)

Check what is the keyfield of your dso as data will be loaded based on keyfields.
Also please check if you've set overwrite option in your dso at transformation.

Can't get mc properties directly after loadMovie("mc") action.

I want to create a new MC "picture" by using:

but this returns always "0" for the variables "height" and
"width"
I learned that MX 2004 has the functionallity to add some
listeners to this script (MovieClipLoader) in order to determine
when the file "photo8.jpg" has done loading. Than the width and
height could be read of photo8.jpg...
My first question: can I do the same with a slightly
different script in MX 6?
Second question: what is the right syntax of the
moviecliploader-thing wich I need in MX 2004? the help file isn't
that very clear, I'm afraid.

Hi,
as you have guessed you have to wait until the first frame
(if there are frames) or the whole Image has loaded before you can
access the properties of the loaded clip. The MovieClipLoader class
helps you a great deal in that, but it is only available since
Flash / in Flash & you would have to check with your own method
for example usinf setInterval to chaeck for the loaded size of the
movie/picture vs. the total size.
I don't think that the Help file is unclear, just look up the
examples in the Actionscript dictionary and do those on your own.
It often happens that the concept of event listeners is hard
to grasp for those that haven't used for a while them, but there
are some tutorials out there on that topic...

ADF Popup for adding a new Row in table

Hi All,
I have VO which is rendering as table on my jsff.I created a button of createInsert to add a new row and after commit it saves the values in Table in DB.
Works abst fine.
Now i want to change this feature to that when a New Row should be Added, a pop up should appear in the format of a form, and at the click of OK it should save the data and on Cancel go back to Page.
What i did was i added a pop up, in the pop up body i again dropped my VO as a form and added a dialoglistener to the pop up which commits on click of OK and Rollback on click of Cancel.
I am not getting any exception but The Db is not modified with my entries.
So its simple that i am commiting but nothing is changed till that time.
How can i get the Task done?????

I'm getting the following error:

Crud-operations-in-oracle-adf

hi, I am using 11g 1.2 and ADF BC
I followed the sample "http://andrejusb.blogspot.com/2010/05/crud-operations-in-oracle-adf-11g-table.html" and built a same thing in my bound task-flow.
the 'Edit' , 'Insert' , 'Save' and 'Undo' button worked perfectly, but the 'Delete' button is not. let say I have three lines in the table, If I click a row and click the 'Delete' button, then all three lines are disapear, May I know why? Thanks for your guide!

But I do have the af:form in the page level. My table is inside the region which is in the page.
I have added a af:Subform around my af:PanelCollection, but the result is worse, even when I click 'INSERT' button, the all three lines are disapear!!!
May this sample and code can not work properly inside the region?

finally I understand that the solution in the sample is for bindings in the page, but my af:table component in the page fragment. may not directly coding like sample. am i worng? can anybody guide me how to refer to binding in the fragment. Thanks!

ADF DI: Create child records without the master populated

Hi,
We have an ADF DI table component for the insert purpose. After populating the table with the required data, we want to upload the data to the server.
But, before uploading each row, we want to call an AM exposed method with the parameter from the current VO row which is getting uploaded.
Is it possible to call an AM method while passing the current VO Row parameter (for an insert purpose) ?

Hi Anil,
You can specify your AM method in InsertAfterRowActionId which gets called for each row that is inserted on performing Upload and refer current row details inside that using viewObject.getCurrentRow().getAttribute("<Attr_Name>").

How to refresh Adf table from Adf popup

Hi all,
i have and adf query panel with table. On this table for each record, there is a button to perform some operations. When i click this button i am launching an adf popup. Inside this popup i have used a adf dialog of type yes/no. i am using this as a confirmation. (ex- Are you sure you want to change (ex- deactivate) this record?) If yes is clicked i change only one field. Suppose the record belongs to a client. On click of yes, i change the status to some value. ex- deactivate. so with the dialog's button click, i change the table data. but it is not reflected unless i made a query. i want to automatically refresh this table on click of dialog button's yes. I hope i made my self clear. Can this be done with Jdev. Im using Jdev 11.1.1.0.1. Pls help me with this.

Synchonize Form on Popup to Selected Record of Table

I'm trying to recreate what I've done on OAS Portals in Weblogic/ADF. I have JDeveloper 11.1.1.2.0. What I need to do seems to be a little different than the tutorials: I need something like the Master/Detail tutorial, but instead of the detail being shown on the same page, it should appear in a popup. I have succeeded at building the table/popup part. But when the popup appears, it is displaying the wrong record. These are the steps I used to create this page:
After creating ADF Fusion Middleware project:
1. Create models for tables I need.
2. Create JSF Page.
3. Drop panelCollection on page.
4. Drop my View data control into panelCollection and choose ADF Read-Only Table. Enable Selection and Sorting options.
5. Change table properties: DisplayRow=selected, EditingMode=clickToEdit
6. Drop Popup on page.
7. Drop my View data control into popup and choose ADF Form. Enable Submit option.
8. Drop showPopupBehavior onto page. Set name of popup. Set triggerType to "selection". (triggerType of "click" works, too)
9. Deploy.
The table appears. I click a row. The popup appears. The popup form is displaying the first record in the table. No matter what row I click.
I just bought the Oracle Fusion Developer Guide 11g but have not been able to address this issue yet.
Any ideas?

The steps in my first post are all I've done. I dragged View1 to the main page and chose ADF ReadOnly Table. When I created the popup, I dragged the same datacontrol into the popup and chose ADF Form. Since it's the same view, there aren't any links.
I realize that I called this Master/Detail in the first post. But it's not really Master/Detail. The popup is to show a Form view of the selected row from the table.
Setting the partialTrigger doesn't change anything. But maybe I'm doing it wrong. What I did was select the popup element and choose Edit from DownArrow next to partialTrigger. From there I navigated to the table (table* -> t1) and selected it (by moving it to the right screen with the right arrow icon). My understanding is that the partialTrigger is set on the element that wants to Receive notice; and the value is set to the element that should send the notice (trigger).
Something I noticed is that in the table the values in the rows come from the EL expression #{row.ColumnName}. But in the Form the values come from #{bindings.ColumnName.inputValue}. Should I be trying to pass the "row" variable in somehow?

In Controller class(page def file), we refered the class that implements PagePhaseListener
The following override methods has created

Backing Up Database Table and Records in Oracle 10g

Hi All,
I created database for my company with Oracle 10g Database Server and want to backup all my database tables and records within (i.e creating another username inside the data and transfer them) and outside (i.e transfering them in another destination outside the database server) the database. Could you please instruct me on how to achieve?

How to make few records editable in oracle ADF form.

I am working on one scenario. here, we are sending few records to user in an ADF task form, using BPEL Human task. Now, the requirement is to put a checkbox in each row and enable that particular row-fields for editing purpose.
please respond if there is a way to put any condition in check box design to enable row-data for editing.

actually to implement check boxes in front of a table you need some sort of transient field that can keep persistence. One way of achieving this is to wrap the BPEL service in a WS proxy client and create a POJO DC from it. This then allows you to add an additional field to implement a solution similar to this in ADF BC
