Ateeq,
Please go through the following documents, it answers all your questions. You can also refer to Workflow documentation (I believe you know how to reach R12 documentation).

  • E-mailed photos not reaching destination

    Hi,
    E-mailed photos not reaching destination
    . Can you help?

    DCAINTLRE
If you have Premiere Elements, then your question relates to Premiere Elements via the Elements Organizer that comes with it.
And, as we know, Photo Email is an Elements Organizer feature found under the Elements Organizer Share/Photo Mail.
What version of Premiere Elements do you have and on what computer operating system is it running?
How far are you getting in the Photo Mail feature:
    a. Do you get your created photo mail and see the email with its active Send button ready for you to hit the Send button?
    b. If so, after you press the Send button, does the email appear to have been sent...even if you do not see a specific message saying
message sent? To verify that the message was sent, in the Elements Organizer Find Menu, go to By History/Emailed to to confirm
    the sending.
Have you checked with the recipients of your Photo Mail to make sure that your sending is not ending up in the recipient's email junk
folder? Have you troubleshooted by sending a Photo Mail to yourself?
What have you set up as Email Client in the Elements Organizer preferences?
Please review and consider and then let us know the outcome.
    Thank you.

  • Thousands of "mail is not enabled for this user"

Someone is sending my domain email to thousands of non existent mail accounts. It's like they are combining every possible prefix to my domain they know of. It's been going on for weeks. The Mail service, however, is not being brought down by this at all. So I don't know what kind of attack this is or how to stop it.
Can someone help me? Below is a minute section of my System log:

    ------------------

Two possibilities - both fall under the heading 'reconaissance by e-mail'. A spammer or hacker will try 1000's of common names, then look at which ones didn't bounce to determine which ones have accounts on your system.
They then have a comprehensive list of account names on your server, and can proceed to attempt likely passwords for each, or send endless spam to your users. Either one is a Bad Thing, doubly so if you've got any accounts that you created just to test things, and have weak passwords, but you've always counted on nobody knowing they exist.
At one point, I actually had a 'testuser' account that had 'testuser' as the password - I just hadn't remembered to delete it after I was done testing. It's very common for a system to have a couple of these hanging around. I didn't have trouble with it, but looking for and getting rid of these is critical.
Either way, the immdiate solution is to go Server Admin->Mail->Settings->Relay, and add the IP address(es) of the senders to the 'Refuse all messages from these hosts or networks' section. Mail attempts will still show up in your SMTP log, but they'll look like this one I got this morning (one of dozens):
    Jan 3 11:07:33 miniserver postfix/smtpd[1440]: NOQUEUE: reject: RCPT from unknown[66.180.115.17]: 554 <unknown[66.180.115.17]>: Client host rejected: Access denied; from=<[email protected]> to=<[email protected]> proto=SMTP helo=<xptwfs.gov>
Next is to take a look at your password policies - if you've got strong password policies (must include characters and numbers, must be 7 characters or longer, etc., you're probably OK, but if anyone has weak passwords, or god forbid, uses their userid as their password, you're pretty vulnerable.
It's also worth noting that someone with a full list of your users has a fair number of tools for improved odds of phishing, or spear-phishing, where they create finely targeted mails that say things like 'Bob Smith told me to contact you for your password', and look very real. A warning mail to your users to remind them that they need to keep passwords secret, and be cautious about mail, even if it appears to know something about them, would be good. I wouldn't specify that you've been recon'd, just a general 'New Year Security Reminder' or some such.
    Hope this helps!

  • Few mails are not reaching to a recipient while other are receiving the same email

    Hi
I am facing very strange issue for few days.
The email sent by a user to multiple internal recipient, is not reaching to one recipient, while others are receiving that email.
Few users are facing this issue. mail neither reaching in their inbox nor Junk folder.
I am using Exchange Server 2013 CU2 and TrendMicro MailScan anti-spam.
I have searched the logs in TrendMicro Mail Scan but nothing found.
    Please help.
    Thanks,
    Manoj
    Thanks, Manoj

    Hi,
To narrow down the cause, I’d like to ask the following questions:
    1. Does the issue happen on random or regular recipients?
    2. Does the issue happen on all emails or only emails including many recipients?
We can check the Maximum number of recipients per message through a Receive connector:
    http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/bb124345(v=exchg.150).aspx
    3. Is there any DNR or error message?
If you have any question, please feel free to let me know.

  • How do you turn on Mail Notifications when Mail is not listed in the INCLUDE or DO NOT INCLUDE list of apps?

A week ago, the Mail app wouldn't display any messages. After restarting the phone, it still would not display any messages, it would just quit. Then eventually it opened with messages displayed. But then Mail notifications disappeared, and is not even listed in the Notification Center.  How can Mail be "re-listed"?

I checked some other discussions and doing a reset by holding the power and home button helped the Mail app to appear in the Notifications list again

  • Some Adresses seems to be damaged, Mails does not reach the receipient

    Hi,
we have following problem with one costumer:
He is sending invitations from outlook to a notes client behind a domino server. But the receipient gets an damaged invitation. The sender takes the address out of his contacts. If he deletes the contact or he types the address manuell, all seems to be fine.
The invitation reaches the receipient and can be accepted or declined.
If you want to look behind a contact and choose preferences, I will get an errror.
What is the problem? I've often problems with damaged contacts but I can't find something in the web. Can I control and/or repair all contacts at once to prevend such problems?
    Achim

    Hi,
Do you mean the message cannot be sent completely when some Exchange users directly select their Contact as a recipient? And if users directly type the contact address, there is no issue with sending messages.
Please close Outlook and send a test message with selecting Contact as a recipient in OWA to check whether the message can be sent completely. If the issue continues in OWA, we can follow Denis’s suggestion to export Contact to an excel / CSV file to tidy
    them up.

  • Mail (Yosemite) not syncing all Exchange mails

I tried hard it convert from Outlook 2011 to shiny Mail. For me a disaster. Here are my problems with it:
Mail does not receive all mails. Some are just left out. There seems not to be any rule. Even syncing doesn't change a thing. Some mails stay at the server.
I send a mail and need the sent mail. I only find this in my Sent folder after a minimum of 15 minutes. Sometimes it takes more than an hour. Syncing or re-starting Mail didn't poke Mail to get these quicker from the server.
Although the receiving is set to be checked "automatically", it takes up to five minutes to get a new mail after it arrived on the server.
All the above don't happen with Outlook. Running both applications in parallel will always lead to MS gets the newly arriving mail first. Even a mail sent from Mail appears immediately in Outlook's Sent folder. When you are really a fan you may get around with these two. But not receiving some mails is a no go.

Sometimes this issue is caused by a misconfiguration or incompatibility of the Exchange server, or perhaps by a bug in Mail. If so, you won't be able to resolve it yourself. The fact that your iOS devices may be working well with the same account isn't relevant, because iOS uses a completely different protocol (ActiveSync) to communicate with Exchange servers. By default, OS X Mail uses the EWS protocol.
Each of the following steps has been reported to help with Exchange issues, at least temporarily, in some cases:
    1. Back up all data. Open the Internet Accounts pane in System Preferences and check to make sure you don't have duplicate Exchange accounts. If you do, delete all but one of the duplicates. If there are no duplicates, delete the account and recreate it with the same settings.
    2. Rebuild the affected mailbox.
    3. Reindex messages.
    4. Follow the instructions in this support article to disable autodiscovery. You may need to get configuration details from the server administrator.
    5. In the Keychain Access application, delete the password item for the account. The next time Mail tries to access the account, you'll be prompted for the password. Check the box to save it in the Keychain.
    6. If you've created subfolders of the Exchange inbox, log in to the server through its web interface, move the messages out, and remove the subfolders. The inbox should have no subfolders.
    7. Synchronize with the server using IMAP rather than EWS. This is only possible if IMAP is enabled on the server.
    8. Consider using Outlook instead of Mail to access your Exchange mail.

  • Notifications through mail

    Hi,
Can notifications generated to employees/supervisors or HR administrators when
An employee is due for a promotion (a week ahead or so)
A transfer is executed on an employee (after he has reported in a new location)
A new training event is created in the training event catalog
Is such a facility available in standard SAP? Will this be triggerd to the Universal Worklist in the ESS? Is there any integration to be done between ECC and Microsoft Outlook if the employee wants to reach it to his inbox?
    Please explain.
    Thanks
    -Sasi.

    Dear Sasi
As Remi said notifications can be set up via setting up the date of promotion in IT 0019 & doing the SMTP Setting .
Check with you Basis administrator for SMTP Configuration .
You can do this by setting the Exchange server details & ports for the message type

  • CCMS - alert notifications through mail

    HI All,
We have configured CCMS in our Landscape . Everything is working fine. But now we have a new requirement to add some receiptents in CC list of alert mails. I have included all the receioptents list in alert category.  But my question is how differeniate to & cc list of alert mails.
Is there any way to include receiptents in CC list of alert mail?
    Thanks.
    Nagarjun.

    Hi Nagarjun,
You can only send to a mail recipient or a distribution list (DLI) via the standard code. I checked this SALO_EMAIL_IN_CASE_OF_ALERT and there is no section where you can enter Carbon Copy (CC) for the recipient type. So you will have to customize this. Please refer to "SAP Note 176492 - Automatic email when an alert occurs (RZ20)" for addtional information
You can check the SAPoffice example reports BCS_EXAMPLE_1 to BCS_EXAMPLE_8 (SE38 -> BCS_EXAMPLE* -> F4 key) to see how SAPoffice manipulates recipient addresses.

  • Voice Mail Messages not reaching e-mail boxes

I have an Exchange 2010 server and a Panasonic phone system with voice mail. Until recently my users could transfer voice mail messages to their e-mail as an attached WAV file.  I have not made any significant changes that should affect this functionality.
I worked with a voice system technician who verified that the messages are being created and sent by the VM System. However, they are no longer being delivered to the users e-mail box.
I checked to make sure that the password is correct for the mail account, I have white listed the voicemail system in the Exchange Server, and I have tested e-mail to and from the special e-mail account established for this purpose and all seem to work correctly.
I am wondering if there is some new security requirement or SPAM filter in Exchange which might be getting in the way.

    See:
    http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/bb124531(v=exchg.141).aspx
By default, the Receive connector protocol log files are located at C:\Program Files\Microsoft\Exchange Server\V14\TransportRoles\Logs\ProtocolLog\SmtpReceive, and the Send connector protocol log files are located at C:\Program Files\Microsoft\Exchange Server\V14\TransportRoles\Logs\ProtocolLog\SmtpSend.
The directory must be local to the Exchange 2010 computer.
If Exchange received the message, you can also check message tracking on the Exchange Server.

  • How to test email notification is working or not without any exchange serve

    Hi,
Please help me find a way to test email notification after user gets created in OIM and provisioned to OID. The requestro should get a mail that his request has been processed/approved.
    Thanks.

Substituting corporate email server with something local like Argosoft is a good idea but not a 100% test since most problems occur when you talk to corporate email server.

  • Can recieve mail but not relayed to local users, can't send mail,

I am working on setting up a home server for web and email. I have server 10.2 and I can get the web working fine but the mail is giving me fits. The computer is behind by router on my private network. I have a domain name that is set for my router and it forwards all requests to the server. Have done that before with linux. I have set the computers network name to be the same as the domain name(probably a mistake). I can get the mail to be accepted by the server but then it gives a no user error when transfering to the local host for delivery. The only way I can edit using any of the tools is to type in the IP number and not the name.
Should I have named it something like server.domain.com? It is not too far along to reformat and start over. How do you change the network name? Is the network name my problem? I have tried messing with the DNS but it is not as easy and it sounds for 10.2 as in later versions.
    Any suggetions would be helpful.
    David

It's been too long since I've seen 10.2 to give you tips on it's mail config....
The main issue you may have is that your router probably doesn't support loopback. This page has a good explanation:
    http://www.dyndns.com/support/kb/loopback_connections.html
You can use /etc/hosts as described in the article if the machines stay in the office. Another solution is to change your router to one which does support loopback.

  • External Mail Flow not coming into Exchange 2013 Server

We just finished migrating from Exchange 2007 to Exchange 2013 and when I disable a certain receive connector on Exchange 2007 we stop receiving external emails. I have reviewed all of the Exchange 2013 Receive Connectors and everything looks to be fine
but the server does not get mail flow. If anyone could assist with this issue that would be great.
    Thanks,
    Ryan

    Hi,
According to your description, all your inbound mails cannot be received in your Exchange 2013 server after you disable a receive connector in your Exchange 2007 server. If I misunderstand your meaning, please feel free to let me know.
If yes, since your MX record has been configured properly for your Exchange 2013 server, we can begin with checking the A record for the Exchange 2013 server and confirm if all external mails cannot come in your organization. And we can depend on the following
troubleshooting to narrow down the mail flow issue:
    1. Check the NDR information if there is NDR.
    2. Check Telnet to test the mail flow:
    http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/bb123686(v=exchg.150).aspx
