Order of nodes in config.xml

Hi,
as the console does not offer all possible configuration options, I have
to edit config.xml quite often. I think that it's quite inconvenient
that the nodes in config.xml seem to be sorted in some kind of random
order. Are there any ways to force WebLogic to keep an existing order or
at least write the nodes in alphabetical order, grouped by node names
(e.g. all datasources together)? Is something like that planned for the
future?
Daniel

Hi,
Yes, unfortunately, the SUN 1.6 JVM will reorder the entries of any HashMap - therfore any Java implementation that uses Maps may have a different iteration order than what was observed in the past 1.4 and 1.5 releases of the JVM. Going forward all implementationation code should be HashMap order agnostic or implement their own sort order or use an extended implementation like LinkedHashMap which maintains insertion order.
thank you

  • ISA 50 - B2C Open orders search, extending generic-searchbackend-config.xml

    Hello Experts,
    I have several B2C sites and webshops, and B2C self-created accounts are common to all sites. The problem is that all open orders and completed orders (from all sites) appear in the open orders / completed orders in My Account. I'd like to separate the display of orders for each site.
    Each of my site corresponds to a sales organisation in CRM / R3. In the GenericSearchDynamicContent class, which is used in the standard generic-searchbackend-config.xml to generate dynamic values in filters, I found a method addSalesOrg(). I tried to add this in the customer/generic-searchbackend-config.xml :
    <configs isa:extends="../configs[@id='crmdefault']">
      <config id="javabasket_javatemplate_forCRM">
        <property-group name="SearchCriteria_B2C_Sales">
          <property name="SALES_ORG"
          entityType="CL_CRM_REPORT_SET_ORGMAN"
          tokenType="RAN"
          type="dark">
            <allowedValue content="dynamic"
            contentCreateClass="com.sap.isa.isacore.GenericSearchDynamicContent"
            contentCreateMethod="addSalesOrg" />
          </property>
        </property-group>
      </config>
    </configs>
    But it doesn't work, all orders are displayed. If I don't set the entityType and RAN, ABAP returns an error and doesn't take in account the property SALES_ORG, but I don't know if these are the good values (I found these values by debbuging abap ...)
    I haven't found any documentation on the parameters I could add and the corresponding types etc., the Dev and Ext guide (and tuts) shows an example on how to add a search parameter in the selection screen and add a column in the result screen, but no detailed list of fields we could add...
    Please let me know if you have a solution to add sales organisation to the search parameters, and links to documentation.
    Thank you by advance
    Julien

    Hello and thank you for your answer
    I finally found the solution by myself :
    in crmtcweb~appbase/WEB-INF/xcm/customer/modification/generic-searchbackend-config.xml :
           <configs isa:extends="../configs[@id='crmdefault']">
                     <config id="javabasket_javatemplate_forCRM">
                        <property-group name="SearchCriteria_B2C_Sales">
                             <property name="SALES_ORG"
                            entityType="CL_CRM_REPORT_SET_ORGMAN"
                            tokenType="RAN"
                           type="dark">
                        <allowedValue content="dynamic"
                                      contentCreateClass="com.sap.isa.isacore.Z_GenericSearchDynamicContent"
                                      contentCreateMethod="addSalesOrg" />
                    </property>
                        </property-group>
                   </config>
              </configs>
    in Z_GenericSearchDynamicContent :
         public void addSalesOrg() {
              selOpt.addSelectOptionLine(
                new GenericSearchSelectOptionLine(
                     handle,
                     pty.getName(),
                     pty.getEntityType(),
                     pty.getTokenType(),
                     "I",
                     "EQ",
                     bom.getShop().getSalesOrganisation(),
    And it works Now only the orders with the same salesOrg as the webshop are displayed.
    Hope this could help somewone else.

  • Load order faces-config.xml

    I've got the following code:
    User.java
         public User() {
              userData = ( UserData ) FacesContext.getCurrentInstance().getExternalContext().getSessionMap().get("userData");
         }EMailCenter.java
    public EMailCenter() {
              userData = ( UserData ) FacesContext.getCurrentInstance().getExternalContext().getSessionMap().get("userData");
              The problem: userData is accessed correctly in User.java and in EMailCenter I get an invalid object. My faces-config.xml looks like this:
    <faces-config>
         <managed-bean>
              <managed-bean-name>user</managed-bean-name>
              <managed-bean-class>jsf.User</managed-bean-class>
              <managed-bean-scope>session</managed-bean-scope>
         </managed-bean>
         <managed-bean>
              <managed-bean-name>userData</managed-bean-name>
              <managed-bean-class>jsf.UserData</managed-bean-class>
              <managed-bean-scope>session</managed-bean-scope>
         </managed-bean>
         <managed-bean>
              <managed-bean-name>emailcenter</managed-bean-name>
              <managed-bean-class>jsf.EMailCenter</managed-bean-class>
              <managed-bean-scope>session</managed-bean-scope>
         </managed-bean>
            ...I'm not shure but I think that EMailCenter is loaded before the userData object is created when starting the web application. So is it possible to tell Tomcat in which order it should create the objects? Or is it another problem?

    You can also consider to inject the userData bean as managed property of the other beans.

    Hi Venu,
    Normally if you can see the UCM content in the admin console, it means the adapter is configured correctly and the placeholder should work. There's a couple of things I can suggest:
    1. Did you include the oracle-ucm-spi-app-lib.ear file in your project as documented under the heading Add a Reference to the UCM VCR Adapter Shared Library in the UCM VCR adapter installation docs ( [http://download.oracle.com/docs/cd/E13155_01/wlp/docs103/ucm_adapter/install.html|http://download.oracle.com/docs/cd/E13155_01/wlp/docs103/ucm_adapter/install.html] )?
    2. Browse to a document in the repository in the admin console. Pick one of the fields there (e.g. IDC:Folder.dDocId), grab the value and run a query using the placeholder. Do you get a single result?
    3. The original poster (user8867138) mentions a query along the lines of returning all folders that has dDocAuthor = sysadmin. If your UCM system had 10,000 folders all created by sysadmin, the adapter might be timing out? IIRC, you can adjust the timeout in UCM.
    4. Did you try a similar query using Content Selector instead?
    5. If the WLP server domain is running on a separate machine, is UCM configured to accept connections from the WLP server but not your machine?
    I would suggest getting the latest patches for WLP too as some of them are related to the UCM VCR adapter.
    Cheers,
    Cappa

    Hi Chinna,
    Probably writing a script and calling in receiver file adapter after message processing and in the script just add the line in the 3rd line and then put the rest.

    Please suggest something Its urgent.
    Thanks in Advance.

    It goes something like this, taken from the above blog entry:
    Removing a node from node-list
    With the bpelx: extensions in BPEL you are able to insert and update nodes in a node list. A node-list is an XML message that contains a set of records. In this article I use the following example:
    <BookList xmlns="http://message.vijfhuizen.com">
    <Book>
    <title>The Lord Of The Rings</title>
    <author>J.R.R. Tolkien</author>
    </Book>
    <Book>
    <title>Harry Potter</title>
    <author>J.R.R. Tolkien</author>
    </Book>
    <Book>
    <title>The Hobbit</title>
    <author>J.R.R. Tolkien</author>
    </Book>
    <Book>
    <title>Storm; Chronicals of Pandarve</title>
    <author>Don Lawrence</author>
    </Book>
    </BookList>
    For creating and updating node lists the bpelx: functions are enough to handle this. But when you want to remove a particular node, you can use the bpelx:remove function. But this function can only remove a node from a particular position. For example removing the second node you code:
    <bpel:assign>
    <bpelx:remove>
    <bpelx:target variable="VarBookList" query="/Booklist/Book[2]" />
    </bpelx:append>
    </bpel:assign>
    It is hard to code the bpelx:remove to create a xpath to dynamicly remove node. You would like to remove the second node based on the xpath:
    /Booklist/Book[title="Harry Potter" and author="J.R.R. Tolkien"]
    You can add the above xpath in the bpelx:remove, but you are not able to make this dynamically.
    There is a solution. The trick is to create a stylesheet that copies the data into a new message, but removing that particular records. Create a stylesheet that does the normal copy of the XML message. Then add a <choose> element in the stylsheet to filter that particular record.
    <xsl:template match="/">
    <BookList>
    <xsl:for-each select="/BookList/Book">
    <xsl:choose>
    <xsl:when test="title='Harry Potter' and author='J.R.R. Tolkien'"/>
    <xsl:otherwise>
    <Book>
    <title>
    <xsl:value-of select="title"/>
    </title>
    <author>
    <xsl:value-of select="author"/>
    </author>
    </Book>
    </xsl:otherwise>
    </xsl:choose>
    </xsl:for-each>
    </BookList>
    Now we have a XSL stylesheet that removes a particular record, but this is not variable. This can be done via XSLT parameters.
    <xsl:param name="pTitle"/>
    <xsl:param name="pAuthor"/>
    <xsl:template match="/">
    <BookList>
    <xsl:for-each select="/BookList/Book">
    <xsl:choose>
    <xsl:when test="title=$pTitle and author=$pAuthor"/>
    <xsl:otherwise>
    <Book>
    <title>
    <xsl:value-of select="title"/>
    </title>
    <author>
    <xsl:value-of select="author"/>
    </author>
    </Book>
    </xsl:otherwise>
    </xsl:choose>
    </xsl:for-each>
    </BookList>
    </xsl:template>
    Now we are able to use this stylesheet in BPEL. In general BPEL create the following code:
    <assign name="Transform">
    <bpelx:annotation>
    <bpelx:pattern>transformation</bpelx:pattern>
    </bpelx:annotation>
    <copy>
    <from expression="ora:processXSLT('RemoveNode.xsl'
    , bpws:getVariableData('Variable_BookList','payload')" />
    <to variable="Variable_BookListTemp" part="payload"/>
    </copy>
    </assign>
    But this code does not pass parameters to the stylesheet. The ora:processXSLT() can do this it has an additional parameter in this function:
    <assign name="Transform">
    <bpelx:annotation>
    <bpelx:pattern>transformation</bpelx:pattern>
    </bpelx:annotation>
    <copy>
    <from expression="ora:processXSLT('RemoveNode.xsl'
    , bpws:getVariableData('Variable_BookList','payload')" />
    , bpws:getVariableData('BPELxslparameters'))"/>
    <to variable="Variable_BookListTemp" part="payload"/>
    </copy>
    </assign>
    Now only you have to create the BPELxslparameters variable and assign it with the correct name/value pairs. The structure of the this variable is as follows:
    <?xml version="1.0" encoding="windows-1252" ?>
    <xsd:schema xmlns:xsd="http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema"
    xmlns="http://schemas.oracle.com/service/bpel/common"
    targetNamespace="http://schemas.oracle.com/service/bpel/common"
    elementFormDefault="qualified">
    <xsd:element name="parameters">
    <xsd:complexType>
    <xsd:sequence>
    <xsd:element name="item" minOccurs="1" maxOccurs="unbounded">
    <xsd:complexType>
    <xsd:sequence>
    <xsd:element name="name" type="xsd:string"/>
    <xsd:element name="value" type="xsd:string"/>
    </xsd:sequence>
    </xsd:complexType>
    </xsd:element>
    </xsd:sequence>
    </xsd:complexType>
    </xsd:element>
    </xsd:schema>
    Create in BPEL the variable BPELxslparameters and let it point to this strucure:
    <process ....
    xmlns:common="http://schemas.oracle.com/service/bpel/common"
    .../>
    <variable name="BPELparameters" element="common:parameters"/>
    Now we can in BPEL create an empty XML message, based on this strcuture and assign the values to these parameters and then call the processXSLT function.
    <bpelx:assign name="Assign_GenerateEmptyParameterSet">
    <copy>
    <from>
    <parameters xmlns="http://schemas.oracle.com/service/bpel/common">
    <item>
    <name>pTitle</name>
    <value/>
    </item>
    <item>
    <name>pAutor</name>
    <value/>
    </item>
    </parameters>
    </from>
    <to variable="BPELparameters" query="/common:parameters"/>
    </copy>
    </bpelx:assign>
    <assign name="Assign_setXSLTParameters">
    <copy>
    <from expression="'Harry Potter'"/>
    <to variable="BPELparameters" query="/common:parameters/common:item[1]/common:value"/>
    </copy>
    <copy>
    <from expression="'J.R.R. Tolkien'"/>
    <to variable="BPELparameters" query="/common:parameters/common:item[1]/common:value"/>
    </copy>
    </assign>

  • Call custom generic-searchbackend-config.xml by a specified scenario

    Hi Everyone,
    this is a continue of Re: limit options for Search For dropdown list on Transaction tab:
    I need to add a specified scenario condition for limiting Search For dropdown list.  Can anyone advise me how to?
    Thanks, Jin

    Hi Jin,
    To choose generic-searchbackend-config.xml Base on your XCM scenario is difficult to implement. But there is a easy way you can select which value should come in drop down box of Document Type base on your scenario.
    Do as follow.
    Import UsersessionData and ConfigContainer in genericsearch.jsp file.
    <%@ page import="com.sap.isa.core.xcm.*" %>
    <%@ page import="com.sap.isa.core.UserSessionData" %>
    Now get current scenario name by adding Java Code.
    UserSessionData userData = UserSessionData.getUserSessionData(request.getSession());
    ConfigContainer configcontainer = (ConfigContainer)(userData.getCurrentConfigContainer());
    String sName = configcontainer.getScenarioName();
    Now suppose in generic-searchbackend-config.xml file your Search option SearchCriteria_B2B_Sales has below allowed value in Drop Down box.
    <allowedValue value="ORDER"           description="b2b.status.shuffler.key1val2" resultlistName="order_resultlist_B2B" default="true"/>
    <!-- allowedValue value="BACKORDER"       description="gs.attr.doc.type.backorder" resultlistName="order_resultlist_B2B" maxHitsToSelect="0"/ -->
    <allowedValue value="QUOTATION"       description="b2b.status.shuffler.key1val1" resultlistName="quot_resultlist_B2B"/>
    <allowedValue value="ORDERTMP"        description="b2b.status.shuffler.key1val3" resultlistName="ordertmp_resultlist_B2B"/>
    <allowedValue value="CONTRACT"        description="b2b.status.shuffler.key1val4" resultlistName="contract_resultlist_B2B"/>
    <allowedValue value="INVOICE"         description="b2b.status.shuffler.key1val5"  />
    <allowedValue value="CREDITMEMO"      description="b2b.status.shuffler.key1val6" />
    <allowedValue value="DOWNPAYMENT"     description="b2b.status.shuffler.key1val7" />
    <allowedValue value="AUCTION"         description="b2b.status.shuffler.key1val9" maxHitsToSelect="0"/>
    </property>
    Now suppose you have 2 XCM scenario CUSTOMER and SALES.
    For CUSTOMER xcm scenario you want to display only ORDER and INVOICE and for SALES xcm scenario you want to display INVOICE then add below line to your code in genericsearch.jsp
    Find below line under <form name="GENERICSEARCH" id="gensearch" action="dummy" >  You can find these line between line#495 to line#505
    <td class="label"><%= ui.writeSearchElementLabel("left", screlm)%></td>
    <td class="input"><%= ui.writeSearchElementLabel("top", screlm)%>

  • [svn] 2716: SDK-15848 - Conditional compilation constants defined in flex-config. xml are never used if a single constant is specified on the command line

    Revision: 2716
    Author: [email protected]
    Date: 2008-08-04 01:18:12 -0700 (Mon, 04 Aug 2008)
    Log Message:
    SDK-15848 - Conditional compilation constants defined in flex-config.xml are never used if a single constant is specified on the command line
    * There's a possibility this will break a conditional complication test which disallows overwriting an existing definition -- I don't know if that will break the build, but the test should be removed either way.
    * Using append syntax ("-define+=" on the command line or ant tasks, or append="true" in flex-config) and redefining a value works now if you use an already-defined namespace and name.
    * So your flex-config may have -define=CONFIG::debug,false, and you may want -define+=CONFIG::debug,true from the commandline build, or FB build.
    * Made the ASC ConfigVar fields final as a sanity check since overwriting is now allowed. It would be harder to track changes and subtle bugs if they were mutable. This means that you must build a new ConfigVar object if you need to make changes.
    Bugs: SDK-15848
    QA: Yes. Please read the updated javadocs in CompilerConfiguration. Tests need to be added to validate that overwriting is allowed, and happens correctly in different situations: I believe the order should be that flex-config is overwritten by a custom config (can we have more than one user config? is the order deterministic? I forget...), is overwritten by commandline or OEM. Did I miss any? (I didn't write code which changes this, it works however the existing configuration system allows overwriting and appending; if we have tests for that, maybe we don't need them duplicated for this feature.)
    Doc: Yes. Please read the updated javadocs in CompilerConfiguration.

  • XInclude in faces-config.xml

    Hi,
    I will appreciate some explanation about line xmlns:xi="http://www.w3.org/2001/XInclude" in faces-config.xml.
    In some samples I find it and in others not. ¿It’s necessary? ¿what is its functionality?
    Thanks!

    xinclude is a facility to include xml fragments into another document. It's not required in order to author a faces-config.

  • Which generic-searchbackend-config.xml file to be used..?

    Hi,
    I need to make some changes to generic-searchbackend-config.xml.
    There are 2 generic-searchbackend-config.xml files available.
    1. sap.com\crm\isa\web\b2b\_comp\*webContent*\WEB-INF\xcm\sap\modification\generic-searchbackend-config.xml
    2. sap.com\crm\isa\web\b2b\_comp\WEB-INF\xcm\sap\modification\generic-searchbackend-config.xml
    I already made some changes in File No 1 and they were reflecting perfectly.
    My Basis team restarted the server today and I noticed that none of these changes I made in file no 1 are working now.
    Later I tried making some changes to file NO 2 and surprisingly they are reflecting.
    My question(s):
    1.which is the correct file to be used?
    2.what is the diff between the two
    3.why are my changes in file 1 not reflecting now even though code changes are present?
    Thanks,
    Pat

    Actually neither of them.
    You need to have a "customer" version of the XML which contains the changes you do specific to your application. The path of this file would be something like
    crmtcwebappbasesap.com/src/packages/WEB-INF/xcm/customer/modification/generic-searchbackend-config.xml
    Inside that one, you include the standard like this:
    <xi:include href="$/modification/generic-searchbackend-config.xml#xpointer(backendobject/*)"/>
    Then you put in your changes like the example below:
         <configs isa:extends="../configs[@id='crmdefault']">
              <config id="javabasket_javatemplate_forCRM">
                   <property-group name="salesdoc_resultlist_B2C">
                        <property name="STATUS"
                             columnTitle="b2c.orderlist.order.status"
                             cssClassName="showfiguresright"/>
                        <property name="STATUS_SYSTEM"
                             columnTitle="b2c.orderlist.order.status_system"
                             cssClassName="showfiguresright"/>
                        <property name="PROCESS_TYPE" type="hidden"/>
                   </property-group>
              </config>
         </configs>

    There are similar posts in the forum to this, but I wasn't able to glean from them what I should do.
    Essentially, I tried Connecting by:

    Hi,
    the adf-config.xaml file is not created by default and not needed by default. you need this to define custom skins or ADF Security.
    For an example of adfs-config.xml doe skins see SRDemo sample app

  • Coherence-cache-config.xml not visible from EAR

    hello all.
    I've met following issues. The coherence does not see my custom cache-config.xml and thereby uses the default from coherence.jar.
    Environment:
    1. WLS 10.3, Coherence 3.7, jvm 1.6
    2. the active-cache is deployed as shared library
    3. the dedicated coherence cluster is configured through WLS Admin console and all started with -Dtangosol.coherence.cacheconfig=d:\OracleFM\R11.1.1.5\WLSGeneric\user_projects\domains\mvn_domain1\coherence-config\coherence-cache-config.xml.. The output shows that the cluster is started and my cache service is started also:
    Services
    ClusterService{Name=Cluster, State=(SERVICE_STARTED, STATE_JOINED), Id=0, Version=3.7.1, OldestMemberId=1}
    InvocationService{Name=Management, State=(SERVICE_STARTED), Id=1, Version=3.1, OldestMemberId=1}
    PartitionedCache{Name=MVN_Test_Service, State=(SERVICE_STARTED), LocalStorage=enabled, PartitionCount=257, BackupCount=1, AssignedPartitions=257, BackupPartitions=0}
    Cache services are configured with auto-start=true
    4. the coherence.jar is placed in EAR\lib\coherence.jar
    5. I've got tried to place coherence-cache-config.xml in the following places within EAR
    EAR
    APP-INF\classes\coherence-cache-config.xml
    EAR
    lib\coherence-cache-config.xml
    EAR
    MyModule.jar\META-INF\coherence-cache-config.xml
    The result is that coherence uses default config file from coherence.jar instead of the custom one that deployed with EAR. In fact I do not have ideas what is wrong there....
    And yet, the coherence that deployed with EAR sucessfully joined to cluster, but only to Service Management. From output: "Member 2 joined Service Management with senior member 1"

    Hello Robert. Thanks for prompt reply.
    If by saying that you deployed coherence.jar as a shared library means that you put it on the server classpath
    In fact I didn't say that. I said that "4. the coherence.jar is placed in EAR\lib\coherence.jar"

    You may see that I have two dedicated Coherence servers member 1 and member 2 that joined in coherence cluster. The member 3 and member 4 are WLS deployed coherence. I mean that I have two WLS that configured to join Coherence cluster, and it's happened after the application had been deployed on both of them. You may see that the two last joined only to Service Management

  • Config.xml file missing after using pack/unpack (WebLogic 12c)

    Hi,
    When I use the utilities pack/unpack to "copy" a domain from one physical server to another one, I end up with the config directory where there is no config.xml file while on the source physical there is of course this file.
    If I use the scp command (I work under Linux) to "copy" the domain I do not encounter problem and I can start the Node Manager and the WebLogic server.
    Did someone faced this situation?
    How did you solved it? Or, is there something that I am missing?
    Kind Regards.

    Hi all!
    I am having the same problem with WebLogic Workshop 8.1 SP4.
    Any idea?
    Thanks in advance.

  • Manipulate programmatically struts-config.xml

    Hi,
    Can you please share your thought on the best way (or any way, as a matter of fact) one can manipulate the struts-config.xml from a JDeveloper extension ?
    I can obtain the node using Node node = NodeFactory.find( url ); (where url is the URL for the struts-config.xml file for teh specific project)
    How can I add/edit form beans and actions to the file using JDeveloper API or any other way?
    Thanks,
    Eugen

    Might be worth while checking the Extension SDK samples here:
    http://otn.oracle.com/products/jdev/htdocs/partners/addins/esdkdown.html
    you might find some things there.
    A not so sophisticated way would be to just write the an XML file that overwrites the struts-config.xml file, and then JDev will pick the new version.

  • Problem in faces-config.xml cycle detection

    Hi,
    I'm having the following problem in my jsf application. I have a loginMangager bean which holds a reference to the logged user and which is used by many other beans in my application. But in a particular situation I'm getting the following error:
    SEVERE: JSF will be unable to create managed bean listaChecagemBean when it is requested.  The following problems where found:
         - Managed bean mesaTarefasBean contains cyclic references.  Evaluation path: mesaTarefasBean -> loginManager -> listaChecagemBean -> loginManager.My faces-config.xml looks like this:

          <value>#{mesaTarefasFacade}</value>
        </managed-property>
      </managed-bean>As you can see, there is not really a cycle here since the loginManagerBean does not depend on any other bean. If you think of it as directed graph, listaChecagemBean is connected to mesaTarefasBean and both of them are connected to the loginManagerBean, which is not connected to any other bean, it's a sink node.
    I'm a missing something? Is this a bug?
    I'm using JSF 1.2 RI 1.2_05 and Tomcat 6.0.
    Thanks in advance,
    Andr Rodrigues

              <managed-bean-name>dummyB</managed-bean-name>
              <managed-bean-class>net.t_mobile.test.beans.DummyBean</managed-bean-class>
              <managed-bean-scope>session</managed-bean-scope>
              <managed-property>
                   <property-name>sessionBean</property-name>
                   <value>#{sessionBean}</value>
              </managed-property>
              <managed-property>
                   <property-name>parentBean</property-name>
                   <value>#{dummyA}</value>
              </managed-property>
         </managed-bean>
    </faces-config>
    The dependencies are like follows:
    dummyB.parentBean = dummyA
    dummyB.sessionBean = sessionBean
    dummyA.sessionBean = sessionBean
    sessionBean.externalBean = externalBean (resolved through external el-resolver)
    If I remove "dummyB" or the reference to externalBean no cycles are detected anymore.
    Could you confirm this bug?
