Org.eclipse.jdt.launching.localJavaApplication Error
I was developing nicely on Web Sphere Studio Developer Version=5.1.0
(with eclipse Release 2.1.1) but I just started getting the error "No
Tab group defined for launch application type/n
org.eclipse.jdt.launching.localJavaApplication" when trying to run or
debug. I was trying to parse&validate an XML file and getting a log of
the Parsing errors.This might have done something. However, it was
working before..Any ideas before deleting and reloading Eclipse?

what are the consequences for writing or removing that line.

Solutions is Reinstalling the NWDS , that option is not a good solution(choose any another options)

I'm trying to create a graphical editor with GMF tools. To launch the plugin i used Run configurations, for the plugins i used "plugins selected below only" and pressing "add required plugins" it worked fine but after updating eclipse with help->check for updates I can not run the application and i get this error:

after updating, did you get back to Run configuration and press add required plugin again?
If after update there are modifications, it means that you are not using a Target Platform. I recommend to use one in order to have a stable base against which to work on. See documentation.

Eclipse 3.2.0 - error when trying to use Oracle Database Connection Wizard
Hi, I am using Eclipse 3.2.0 with DTP version 1.0. When I attempt to use the wizard to create a new connection, I am getting an error - "Error loading new wizard - 'oracle.dbtools.dtp.connectivity'. I have tried multiple releases of Eclipse, EMF, GEF,DTP, and can't seem to get a stable release to work. Is there something on my computer with Oracle 10g that could be preventing me from using this?
I am also having this problem with Eclipse 3.2.2 even after starting -clean and removing configuration/.settings and using jdk1.5.0_05. DataToolsPlatform version is 1.5.2.200802201.

I suppose you had a look at the link and I assume you know about threads.
We can easily fix this issue if you are instantiating, calling and disposing the object within one thread, e.g. you use it only in one method like

I had a look at the constructor, and the overhead doesn't seem that bad, provided this is not a dedicated search&replace server.

Im my web application i'm trying to dynamically compile a java file that i'm saving in a dir under my webapps folder say "mydir"
for the comipaltion i'm using the eclipse jdt compiler but to get it work i need to specify the classpath argument for the Main.compile() method to work.
now what is the default classpath of tomcat server ?
or saying it in other way what should be the classpath i should use as arguments in Main.compile() method of jdt ?
