Overview page toggle Display -Edit - Display

Hi Experts,
I have a overview page and search page in my component, I select a record from search and navigate to overview page.
The problem is , I have to get overview page in display or edit mode on the basis of button selected in search page, and there will be a button in overview page which will togle from display mode to edit mode.
I am getting overview page in edi tmode by default.
Could you please help me out to toggle the overiew page from Display- edit - Display.
Thanks in advance
Madhu Omer

I am able to make my view by default in display mode by writing code in html page of view:
<chtmlb:config xml  = "<%= controller->configuration_descr->get_config_data( ) %>"
               mode = "RUNTIME"
               displayMode = "<%= controller->view_group_context->is_view_in_display_mode( controller ) %>" />
and in set_view_group_context method of main window:
method SET_VIEW_GROUP_CONTEXT.
  IF iv_first_time EQ abap_true AND
       me->view_group_context IS NOT BOUND.
    IF iv_parent_context IS INITIAL.
      CREATE OBJECT me->view_group_context
        TYPE cl_bsp_wd_view_group_context.
    ELSE.
      me->view_group_context = iv_parent_context.
    ENDIF.
  ENDIF.
endmethod.
To edit your view , write below code on your edit button:
  DATA: lr_cn  TYPE REF TO cl_bsp_wd_context_node,
        lr_ent TYPE REF TO cl_crm_bol_entity,
        lr_vgc type ref to if_bsp_wd_view_group_context.
Get current AdminH-Entity
  lr_cn = me->get_context_node( gc_clnobj ).
  check lr_cn is bound.
  lr_ent ?= lr_cn->collection_wrapper->get_current( ).
  CHECK lr_ent IS BOUND.
  IF lr_ent->is_locked( ) = abap_true.
    me->view_group_context->set_all_editable( ).
    lr_vgc ?= view_group_context->get_dependant_vg_context( ).
    lr_vgc->set_all_editable( ).
  ELSE.
    lr_ent->lock( ).
    IF lr_ent->is_locked( ) = abap_true.
      me->view_group_context->set_all_editable( ).
      lr_vgc ?= view_group_context->get_dependant_vg_context( ).
      lr_vgc->set_all_editable( ).
    ENDIF.
  ENDIF.

  • How to make create, edit, display form in a page fragment ?

    Hello everyone,
    I have a problem when I want to make create, edit,display in a page.
    Ok let's say we have created two pages,
    In page A we have 3 buttons, CreateEmp, EditEmp and DisplayEmp button and one text field as a parameter field to edit and display (let say employeeId).
    In page B we have form employee to create new employee, edit employee and display and a button AddMoreEmp (to add more employee without back to page A)
    in this case if button EditEmp is pressed in page A, so button AddMoreEmp in page B will be enabled
    if button DisplayEmp in page A is pressed , so button AddMoreEmp in page B will be disabled.
    Thanks in advance,
    samantha

    I think what you are looking for is a comb field. It acts like a regular field but puts the vertical lines in between each character. You can turn the comb on in the object palette and indicate how many chars will appear in the field (so that it knows how many lines to draw).

  • Marketing Attribute Display Order on Account Overview Page (Web Client)

    Hi All,
    I am using CRM 7.0 EhP 1 and I have encountered a item I need to address in regard to the display of a Marketing Attribute set on the Account Overview page (BP_HEAD/BPHEADOverview) on the Web Client.
    The component in question on the page is BP_DATA/MarketingAttributesEOVP.
    Once the Attribute set is selected on this component, I require that the Atributes display in the order which there are maintained in the Attribute Set Template Profile in transaction CRMD_PROF_TEMPL.
    However, currently they are displaying alphabetically by attribute description on the Web Client as default.
    Any idea how to achieve the requirement above as standard if possible?
    Thanks,
    Jonathan

    Hi Jonathan
    We experienced the exact same issue.
    We raised this with SAP OSS. There is no standard mechanism for altering the display order unfortunately.
    The only options are custom are we were not prepared to make this sort of adjustment to the system.
    Sorry I cannot give you better news.
    Regards
    Arden

    Hi,
    I think it may be <div class="html5gallery-viral-0"> (contains the social media buttons) // screencasteu.worldsecuresystems.com/AP/2013-08-01_1033.png
    It's the only element that isn't in sync with the other elements on page, when compared to home.html for example.

  • How to remove the delete and edit toolbar buttons from the Overview page

    Hi,
    In the account/contact overview page, we see that the interaction history assignment block does not support the EDIT and DELETE options.
    However, when we click on the hyperlink description of an activity in the interaction history, we get into the overview page of the activity. Here we can see the DELETE button and the EDIT button.
    Is there a way to remove these two options from the overview page of an activity which is in COMPLETED status and in the interaction history section?
    Please advice.
    Thanks & Best Regards,
    Ramesh.

    Hi,
    first you unlock the the mapping.
    on your home page i.e http://<host>:<J2EEport /dir/start/index.jsp, there will be a link named as 'Administration' open that link and then there you can look for LOCK OVERVIEW (for both ESR & ID sererately), use lock overview to unlock your objects.

    HI
    I modified the
    ume.login.guest_user.uniqueids  to add some of the annonymous users to the portal using  Direct edit of the UM configuration.
    I have also changed the index.html file to redirect the anonymopus logon page by changeing the

    <body onload="location.replace('portal' + document.location.search)"></body>
    Change this line to the following:
    <body onload="location.replace('servlet/prt/portal/prtroot/com.sap.portal.navigation.portallauncher.anonymous' +  cument.location.search)"></body>
    Then I started J2ee server.

  • Reader XI, An Error Exists on this Page, Acrobat may not display

    Hello,
    I need some help please.  The small business I work for as a contract employee uses Google Doc's, and we input our information into spreadsheets on a daily basis, from our home computers.
    My home computer is XP Professional, and I am using  Mozilla Firefox 36.0. I know we are using older computer programs, but until we can afford newer computers we have to use what we have.
    Prior to today, when I printed off my spreadsheets in Google Doc's I had no problems, however tonight I just starting receiving this error message;  An error exists on this page.  Acrobat may not display the page correctly.  Please contact the person who created the file.
    I contacted my manager and had her send me a new spreadsheet, Invitation to Edit and input my information into the new spreadsheet.
    I then go to my timesheet, and highlight all the rows that I would like to print, then I hit the print key, then I get the box that states, opening my timesheet which is a PDF which is an Adobe Acrobat Document, then I have this message, What should Firefox do with this file?  I have it set to open with Adobe Reader (default) do this for files automatically like this.
    The file downloads, however I have noticed that Adobe at times has a difficult time opening up right away and then I receive the error message that Adobe isn't responding and I end up closing the program out and restarting my computer.
    This error message shows up just before the document begins to print and the document prints off with out any problems.
    I even did a repair and that didn't help.  My printer is a HP Color LaserJet 4500 and I've had no issues with Adobe prior to tonight.
    Do I need to uninstall Adobe Reader & Re-install the program?
    I can't send a copy of the file because it contains confidential material.
    I've also posted this message on Adobe Acrobat, and have not received a response.
    Please advise.
    Thank you,

    Hello,
    Thank you for responding.  Sorry that my message is so confusing.
    In Google Doc's we are able to highlight/selected portions of a PDF to print.
    In Mozilla Fox under Applications, Portable Format Document (PDF) Use Adobe Reader (default).
    So when I go to print off my timesheet, after I have highlighted everything, I get this message:  I've chosen to open my timesheet which is: Adobe Acrobat Document from https//docs.google.com. What should Firefox do with this file?  Open with Adobe Reader (default).
    Do this automatically for files like this from now on. I click on the OK and the file downloads as a PDF file in Adobe Reader.  On Google Doc's I click on the print key then I am able to open up my printer menu.  Its after I click on the print key that I receive this message.
    So what do I do please?
    Thank you,
    Maureen A. Mumm

    This is very confusing to me; Adobe Reader does not have such a functionality (to print highlighted/selected portions of a PDF). Could it be that this is a functionality of Google Docs? Also I have never seen a message "What should Firefox do with this file?". • This page can't be displayed - Turn on TLS 1.0, TLS 1.1, and TLS 1.2 ** But TLS is already turned on.

    I have a user that when they try to log into Duke Progress Energy's website at https://www.progress-energy.com/app/loginregistration/login.aspx it will redirect them to a "one time authentication" page which requires them to use a one-time key
    to log in on a new computer.  When going to this one-time website (secure8.i-doxs.net) it will get an error message that says...
    This page can't be displayed
    Turn on TLS 1.0, TLS 1.1, and TLS 1.2 in the Advanced settings and try connecting to https://secure8.i-doxs.net again.  If this error persists, contact your site administrator.
    Well, I'm the site administrator and I can confirm that TLS 1.0, 1.1, and 1.2 are all enabled and forced by GPO.  Restarting IE and rebooting did not help.  Chrome and Firefox both work flawlessly.
    Edit: This is IE 11 on Windows 8.1 Enterprise.

    Well, I'm the site administrator and I can confirm that TLS 1.0, 1.1, and 1.2 are all enabled and forced by GPO.
    Often such messages are just a default best guess of how to explain a problem symptom.  Have you checked that the message is properly reflecting the condition that was detected?  FWIW first I would use the Developer Tools to see
    what the transaction (request and response) really is.  E.g. it may be that the host is sending an HTTP response code which might be interpreted the way that the message is showing.  Then the problem would be on the host to ask: why is it sending
    that code.  Often the answer is that the host is just getting mixed up about the capabilities it assumes a browser has without having actually tested them.

  • Edit Display Templates missing controls

    Hi,
    I'm having problems working with Search Display Templates on SharePoint Online. It started when I uploaded and published two new templates. When I edit the properties of a Search Results Web Part to use these templates, they are not appearing in the Display
    Templates dropdowns (Results Control Display Template and Item Display Template).
    Going to the Design Manager: Edit Display Templates page, there are no controls displayed at the top to enable me to manage the Display Templates. On other sites there are 'New, Upload, Actions and Settings' actions available.
    I'm suspicious that the two issues are linked. I've compared features on the site collection that works and the one that doesn't - both on the same tenancy - and they both have the same features enabled at a site collection and site level. I also have
    the same permission level on both sites.
    Does anyone know what I'm doing wrong?
    Many thanks,
    Colin
    Best wishes, Colin

    Hi Colin,
    Please go to Design Manager->Edit Display Templates page, and check whether the
    Approval Status of the two all are Approved. If not, please click the ECB menu->Publish a Major Version to  publish them.

  • Error when calling a web service in PLSQL, "the page could not be displayed

    Hi, I have a simple web service based on a function returning the name of the employee, I tested it against the standalone oc4j instance and it's working fine, but when I try to call it from PLSQL the error "the page could not be displayed" appears.
    What am I doing wrong?

    Sorry I cannot help with this utility. What is your database version? In 10.1 and later, the recommended way is using JPublisher. Download JPublisher 10.2 and the webservice callout utility.

  • How To edit Display ID/Monitor ID or erase Display ID/Monitor ID Windows 7

    Hi !
    Started a tread in the other "answers microsoft forum" bur got redirected here hence they thought that this was a developer-question...
    My original Thread:
    http://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/forum/windows_7-hardware/how-to-edit-display-idmonitor-id-or-erase-display/62eeace8-358c-4d65-8609-a3df7c3ac216?rtAction=1425277245844
    question:
    Have a problem that appears sometimes.
    Setting up workstations at work with multiple Display-Monitors, its part of my job...
    The Actual ID that the monitors get from Windows is usually not a problem, most programs can adapt to the windows settings and everything is fine.
    BUT some of the systems we run sends commands and stuff to based on the actual number of the display, the number that appears on the screen when clicking the "identify button" in the desktop/display-settings from control-panel.
    Lets call it the HardWare-ID of the Display
    the computer, or windows remember display´s EDID and stores the monitors that has been connected in  a list ?
    If I installed the monitors/displays in correct order everything is good and works like we want it to.
    So it happens that a display brakes or switch place for some reason, or maybe a driver-upgrade resets the display-list and windows now initiates the monitors in the wrong order.
    the monitor that 1 want to have HW-ID 1 now has HW-ID 2, and everything is wrong, messages and commands now end up on the wrong display.
    We have 3 options.
    1 - Fix the display HW-ID
    2 - Re-Configure the system and all that that includes, and hope that it wont change back at the next display-switch or driver-upgrade.
    3 - re-install windows and hope that the displays get the correct ID and the continue with customer applications and so on.
    I have found out that this is being stored somewhere in REG-Edit, but cant find the correct place
    Having talked to HP, they don't support this kind of things... it must be a windows-problem, try with a clean install.....   c-mon I switched a display !!
    Tried clean driver-installs from AMD and Nvidia for the graphics cards, worked one time, until I rebooted the machine, the back to square one...
    Then they ponited at Microsoft.
    Having talked to Microsoft Support they dont support this kind of things....
    I dont have the skills, but I cant se a problem with a scrips that deletes the reg-edit EDID list after a reboot ?
    then it wouldnt be so complicated, simply:
    unplug all but the display that you wan to be number 1
    run script
    reboot
    plug in display 2 and so on ?
    clearification:
    Hi !
    The question remains.
    Not sure you guys understand my problem, doesent seem so...
    I have the need to sweep the computers display-memory
    The Application we are using is sending the commands to to logical screen number, not primary or secondary screen.
    So It is Vital that I can decide or edit the logical numbers of the displays/screens
    It doesent help me at all to switch sides in controlpanel och swtich witch is primary screen for desktop.
    the application still sends the commands to teh logical numbers, and we dont want to reconfigure that if we changed a display that was faulty.
    So:
    I Need to disconnect displays så that I only have one connected
    sweep the display-memory that is on the computer so that the disconnect monitor becomes number 2 when I reconnect it, if I dont get this memory swiped windows remembers the display and gives it the old number again.
    can anyone help me `?
    NOT connected to any Domain.
    I realy cant understand how hard it can be to swipe the hardware ID of the displays and start over without having to to a clead install of windows !!

    Hi Bobbyco57,
    i've deleted my iCloud's mail ID in my iPhone 4 successfully so i've mentioned steps to delete iCould mail ID as below:

    2. Select iColud icon.
    3. Click on Delete Account.
    4. Enter new Apple ID and Password.

  • Page can not be displayed

    Hi
    I have in detail listed down some of the problems that we are facing in our project. I request you to please go through this long and detailed mail and assist me in resolving the issues.
    1. Facing a problem regarding host name which gets displayed on the title bar of an Internet Explorer (IE).
    We have installed cFolders on a different server than SRM (internal host name for cFolders: etdspd01.corp.clp.com.hk). During bid processing when bidder clicks on the collaboration bid invitation link from bid invitation, it connects to cFolders server. At this time it displays internal host name on the title bar of IE on collaboration web page (i.e.etdspd01.corp.clp.com.hk).  As per security concerns, internal host name should not be exposed to external users. Instead, it should have an external host name (i.e. esp12.clpgroup.com) at the same place.
    We have raised an OSS message for this problem. SAP has replied the following message
    ”<b>To solve this problem you can define an External Host name for your used ALIAS in transaction SICF, which connect to your internal Hostname.
    But please note, if you need help to define an ALIAS like this, you should contact our Remote Consulting Team (XX-RC). This is not an error, this is a consulting issue</b>.”
    As SAP suggested, we have created the required virtual host in SICF.  We have also created the required virtual host in J2EE engine since we are facing the same problem for LAC too. In SICF transaction under virtual host we have created required services and aliases.  Please find attached the document “internal host name.doc” for the screen shots.
    Please suggest us how to call the services collaboration and LAC from SRM server by using virtual host name.
    2. Problems from external access (outside of CLP network):
    We have published URL (https://esp11.clpgroup.com/) for internet users, which will hit the ISA server first. At ISA server we have opened only HTTPS port.  We have activated the link translator which converts external URL to internal URL (http://bpdspd01.corp.clp.com.hk) at ISA server and we can access the SRM application without any problem. Once we access the SRM application, we get a collaboration link on the browser. This link tries to access the cFolders application with internal host name (http://etdspd01.corp.clp.com.hk/..), which we have not mapped at ISA server. At ISA server, we have opened only HTTPS port and not the HTTP port. Hence we are getting the error “Page can not be displayed”.
    Please suggest what configuration is required to be done in order to access the collaboration and LAC applications from SRM application. How mapping should be done at ISA server? How to maintain the virtual host names at DNS server?
    3.  If we maintain the virtual host name (esp12.clpgroup.com) instead of original host name of the RFC connection from SRM to ETD (cProjects server), SSO will not be possible for the intranet users, because intranet users are accessing the SRM application by using the URL http://etdspd01.corp.clp.com.hk. From SRM application we are trying to access the collaboration and LAC by using the URL (http://esp12.clpgroup.com). In this scenario, since domain name is not matching, SSO will not be possible as it considering them as two different domains.
    For reference please see below message which has been updated by SAP (Live Auction Cockpit Single Sign-On Problem (0000791479/2006)
    25.08.2006 - 12:12:57 CET    SAP    Reply
    ”What are these hosts "etdspd01.corp.clp.com.hk" and "esp12.clpgroup.com"If you want the SSO to work you have to use computers with common
    DNS domain root. The SSO cookie is issued per DNS domain and will
    not be transered to any host from different domain (see
    http://help.sap.com/saphelp_erp2005vp/helpdata/en/94/f2503ede9254
    41e10000000a114084/frameset.htm).
    Please provide me the source of the smoketest.jsp (IE->View->Source).
    I have uploaded an updated version of the diagnostic tool please use
    unzip it in a separate folder, copy the modified version of
    "remote_traces_shanpshot.conf" from the older version and repeat the
    last test that you have executed.”
    Also, we have installed SSL certificate at cFolders server with CN= esp12.clpgroup.com. So the host name in the URL and the name on the certificate should match.
    Request you to suggest a way forward to achieve the same. Looking forward to your support and assistance.
    Thanks and regards
    Seshu

    Hi Seshu,
    For problem no 2:
    You can use IISProxy for that. Look at this blog:
