P & L Statement and B/S as per Schedule VI.

Hi Everybody,
I have to configure P&L and B/S Reports as per Schedule
VI Format.
can any body help what are the steps needs to be followed.

Hi,
Financial Statement Versions
You define the versions you need to create a balance sheet and profit and loss statement.
You can define versions for a specific chart of accounts, for a group chart of accounts, or without any specific assignment.
You then determine the financial statement items for your version.
You assign groups of accounts to the items at the lowest levels of the hierarchy. You can select the criteria that determine which items the accounts are displayed in NORMALLY HERE YOU WILL FOLLOW SCHEDULE VI. For example, accounts or groups of accounts can be assigned to particular items based on their balance.
Account intervals can be assigned to a financial statement item.  This financial statement version can then also be used by the notes to financial statement in the G/L account information system.
You have to use t. code fse1, fse2 for creating these finanacial statement versions in SAP.

    Dear Madhu,
    Thanks for quick reply.
    I have gone through th Sap Help stuff. I found it too much tehnical. It is good to clarify concepts. I will refer this link for conceptual clarity.
    But do you have any report painter documentation with example and screenshots to solve my problem?
    Already I have www.sapficoconsultant.com material of 92 pages. Apart from this please share any other documents if you have.

  • Difference in Customer account statement and collections

    An account statement and open item list are two types of correspondence. They differ with respect to the information they contain and the way it is displayed. Unlike an open item list, an account statement displays all items in a specified period along with the balance carried forward. The open item list merely displays the open items for a certain key date.
    Type of correspondence that your company sends to its customers.
    The system includes a SAPscript form that you can use for customer account statements for the Philippines, form F140_CUS_STAT_P1. You can modify this template to meet your company's requirements. To do so, from the SAP Easy Access screen, choose Tools ® Form printout ® SAPscript ® Form.
    Structure
    The following information is displayed in the template for the customer account statement:
    Account balance at the start of the selected period
    Open item list as of the key date, including the total
    It is sorted by transactions with or without special G/L indicators, currency, posting date, and document number.
    Account balance at the end of the selected period
    Cleared item list between selected key dates
    It is sorted by currency, posting date, and cleared item document number.
    Withholding tax list between selected key dates
    It is sorted by withholding tax type, posting date, and document number.
    Aging in 0, 30, 60, 90, and 120 days
    Integration
    You can print the customer account statement.
    Note the following restrictions regarding customer statements:
    You cannot create statements for one-time customers.
    In the case of customer head offices with local branches, customer statements contain the address of the head office and not that of the branch.
    The account statement can be created for your customers or vendors is an extract from the customer account which enables him to check the items there or is merely for information purposes. The account statement displays the balance carried forward, all items in the chosen period and the closing balance of the account.
    The open items list is a special form of account statement. It is also sent to the customer for verification or information purposes. Occasionally, the list is also used as a reminder letter. The open items up to the chosen key date are displayed in this list.
    Both letters contain the document number or reference document number, the document date, the document type, the currency and the amount for every item as well as the balance of the open items at the key date. The account statement may also contain the clearing document number. If branches were included in the letter of a head office, their addresses are listed at the end of the letter.
    The layout of the letter is determined via a form. Depending on the form used, the letter may also contain, for example, the days in arrears per item at the key date or other information. The form must be defined and stored in the system.
    Printing Customer Account Statements
    Use
    Printing of customer account statements is based on correspondence type SAPP3. Correspondence type SAPP3 is preconfigured to run the RFKORDP3 print program, which is delivered with report variant SAP&SAPP3. You can modify SAP&SAPP3 to meet your company's needs. For example, you can change the aging period and the number of the aging column.
    To modify or define a new report variant for the RFKORDP3 print program, in Customizing for Financial Accounting, choose Financial Accounting Global Settings -- Correspondence -- Assign Programs for Correspondence Types. Select correspondence type SAPP3 and choose Environment -- Maintain variants.
    Procedure
    Printing Individual Account Statements:
    Request correspondence type SAPP3 . To do so, from the SAP Easy Access screen, choose Accounting -- Financial Accounting --Accounts Receivable --Account -- Correspondence --Request.
    Issue the correspondence request by choosing Accounting -- Financial Accounting -- Accounts Receivable -- Periodic processing -- Print correspondence -- As per request.
    Print the customer account statement from the spool file by choosing System -- Own spool requests. Select your spool request and choose print.
    COLLECTIONS
    Collection is the settlement of receivables due, in particular, bills of exchange.
    Collection Account
    Definition
    A G/L account that the system uses to record checks receivable that you have presented to banks for collection. It denotes that a check has been sent to a bank and is awaiting clearing

  • Hesitate with Statement and PreparedStatement!!!!!!

    i create a test to make clear the 2 thing's diffrience,
    Test use tomcat4.1.24+mysql,test times more than 15 per test
    situation:
    1:create a Connection to mysql,create a Statement object, use this Statement object to query a sql,use time for 411ms;
    2:create a Connection to mysql,create a PreparedStatement object, use this PreparedStatement object to query a sql with a parameter,use time for 409ms;
    3:create a Connection and a Statement to mysql in the construction method,in the method to query a sql use the current Statement,use time 380 ms;
    4:create a Connection and a PreparedStatement to mysql in the construction method,in the method to query a sql use the current PreparedStatement ,use time 390 ms;
    5:jstl:<sql:setDataSource/>set the scope with the four parameter in (request,page,session,application),use time is all about 411ms;
    so i wanna anybody tell me ,what is the advantage of PreparedStatement.

    A PreparedStatement means you don't have to do anything special if you try to insert a string that contains a quote character. And you don't have to tie your code in knots trying to get your timestamps formatted in just the way your database insists on. The PreparedStatement handles all those issues for you. The Statement doesn't.
    A more realistic benchmark comparison would be:
    1. Create a Connection, create a PreparedStatement, use it as a query 1000 times.
    2. Create a Connection, then 1000 times create a Statement and use it as a query.

  • Cash Flow statement as per Schedule 6

    Hi
    How can we map the cash flow statement as per schedule 6 of the companies act
    regards
    Rahul

    Hello,
    Cash flow statement format you need to ask the client according to their business requirements.
    You have to create the FORM in FSI4 and attach the same to report in FSI1
    Please refer FSI2, FSI3 and FSI5, FSI6 for your reference of reports and forms.
    Please ensure before creating a cash flow statement, that your Financial Statement Version (FSV) is complete in all respects.

  • DAX - IF statement and filters within calculated column

    Hi all,
    I've got a bit of a complex formula I'm trying to run, but I'm not quite there yet.  I don't know where/how/if I can place a filter within my IF statement for a calculated column due to so many variables.  I either get errors or wrong numbers.
    Hope the following makes sense.
    Here is my formula for the calculated column [Years Since Last Task]:
    =IF (ISBLANK([Last Task Date]) && ([Current Role]<>BLANK()), DIVIDE([Quarters],4), FLOOR(1. * ( today() - [Last Task Date]) / 365, 0.25))
    Problem:  I am getting "114.25" for Ken....but I want a blank result instead.  Meaning, I need to also filter out any name (row) who has a blank [Current Role].  How do
    I add a filter to this current formula?  Is one more step of filtering possible in this IF statement?  (Maybe I shouldn't use an IF statement, and try CALCULATE instead?)
    Below is the table 'Work' for you to see what's happening.

    you can use nested IF-statements here:
    =IF (ISBLANK([Current Role]),
    BLANK(),
    IF(ISBLANK([Last Task Date]),
    DIVIDE([Quarters],4),
    FLOOR(1. * ( today() - [Last Task Date]) / 365,0.25)

  • Closing Statements and ResultSets

    I just recently realized that you need to close Statements and ResultSets in order to avoid getting the "Too many cursors"-message.
    My question is:
    Do you need to close both Statements and ResultSets?
    - not that it's a problem...
    if so:
    Does it matter which one you close first?

    I usually place the stmt.close() code in my finally block, to ensure that the statement gets closed, even if a SQLException occurs during the query/update. The ResultSet does not explicitly have to be closed, ... it is automatically closed when the Statement is closed, or if a new query is run on the same statement.

  • JDBC: Closing Connection does it close statement and resultset

    In my application I am facing ORA-0100 Maximum open cursors exceeded problem. We are executing quite a few queries and stored procedures before we close the connection object. But in few places statements and resultsets are not closed. Can these be a problem? Shouldn't they be automatically closed when the connection is closed?
    We are executing this block of code in a loop.

    in few places statements and
    resultsets are not closed. Can these be a problem?Yes.

  • Urgent:Difference amount in customer a/c statement and customer ledger bal

    Currently I am facing a problem whererby the same customer  having the same variable - cutoff giviing  me 2 different sets of figure.
    1)Using the statement of account  - cutoff as at 31 Oct 07, gives me ending figure of  -$658,526.98 (Attached file for your reference)
    [2)Using the FBL5N - the same customer cutoff as at 31 Oct 07, gives me ending figure of -$658,629.98
    So the difference figure is 103. so where can i check exactly.
    I have checked with the details  from the 2 different report , everything is inside, but the total using the 2 report - statement and FBL5N gives 2 different total.

    Hello,
    The amount diff. fr Stat. to FBL5N due to some reasons:
    1. Customer statement may or may not have similar slection critieria to FBL5N
    2. Check once other selection while executing the statement

    Thanks Billy, Would you be able to suggest any other faster method to load the data into table. Thanks,
    As Mark responded - it all depends on the actual data to load, structure and source/origin. On my busiest database, I am loading on average 30,000 rows every second from data in external files.
    However, the data structures are just that - structured. Logical.
    Having a data structure with 100's of fields (columns in a SQL table), raise all kinds of questions about how sane that structure is, and what impact it will have on a physical data model implementation.
    There is a gross misunderstanding by many when it comes to performance and scalability. The prime factor that determines performance is not how well you code, what tools/language you use, the h/w your c ode runs on, or anything like that. The prime factor that determines perform is the design of the data model - as it determines the complexity/ease to use the data model, and the amount of I/O (the slowest of all db operations) needed to effectively use the data model.
