Hi,
Wel-come to the forum.
Whenever you post you code use this before and after your code for it to be properly formatted.
Coming to your Anonymous block what is your intenet of having it.
Ofcourse it is not possible to have it as you have shown, but may be tehre is a "correct" way of doing whatever you need.
So if you could briefly explain what you need may be we all can help.
Cheers!!!

  • Returning result set from procedure out parameter, display with anon block

    I'm trying to do something pretty simple (I think it should be simple at least). I want to use a pl/sql procedure to return a result set in an OUT parameter. If I run this code by itself (in the given anonymous block at the end, without trying to display any results), toad says that the PL/SQL procedure successfully completed.
    How can I display the results from this procedure? I am assuming that the result set should be stored in the O_RETURN_REDEEM_DTL, but how can I get anything out of it?
    I have this package with the following procedure:

    Aha, I knew I forgot something!
    I actually had it defined as a REF CURSOR in PSAPP.CY_SALESPOSTING package spec:
    TYPE REDEEM_DTL_TYPE IS REF CURSOR;since I wasn't sure what to make it.
    Cursor used in procedure:
    CURSOR REDEEM_DTL_READ_CUR (

      greg_date_in IN DATE,
      zl_store_nbr_in IN NUMBER,
      register_nbr_in IN NUMBER,
      trans_nbr_in IN NUMBER)
    IS
    SELECT ZL_DIVN_NBR, GREG_DATE, ZL_STORE_NBR, REGISTER_NBR, TRANS_NBR, PAYMENT_TYP_NBR
    FROM REDEEM_DTL
    WHERE ZL_DIVN_NBR = zl_divn_nbr_in AND GREG_DATE = greg_date_in AND

    When used correctly types can be the simplest solution.
    For example when passing multiple values to a stored procedure. Avoiding the type in the below example would lead to further complexity and aggravation not lessen it.

  • Proforma Invoice program ---delivery related with billing block on SO

    Hi,
    I need some help on Profoma Invoice--delivery related.
    I have created a Sales order with Billing block, then created delivery and picking,handling but no PGI.
    Now I am trying to create a Proforma invoice for delivery (before PGI ),
    I can  create the Proforma invoice manually using VF01 by selecting the document type and by delivery number input in the docs selected.
    But I want to create the proforma for the above mentioned scenario using batch job, I have tried both RV60SBAT and SDBILLDL but both of them are not working.
    Both the program are fetching delivery for proforma creation if PGI is done (Even though the billing block is set on Sales order)
    or Billing block is not there on Sales order if PGI is not done.
    Thanks and Regards,
    Ananda

    Hi,
    The programs below are for the specified transactions below.
    "SDBILLDL" program is for  the transaction "VF04" which is for creating the Final invoice(Original Invoice) i.e. Billing due list.
    Where as "RV60SBAT" is for the T.Code "VF06" which is for creating the invoice in background.
    So these two programs will not create proforma invoices.
    Incase if you have only proforma invoice not final invoice,then maintain this proforma invoice type in "VOV8" T.Code under order/delivery-related billing.thwn you can create Proforma invoice by using Vf04/VF06(By using these programs).
    Regards,
    Krishna.

  • How to use single ant build to package with and without native extensions

    Hi,
    I am using iOS native extensions for Adobe air. For this I am listing the extensionid in the application descriptor file. Since the package with native extensions are meant to run only on device, I want my build script to work without native extensions too to be able to run on simulator. Is this manadatory that I need two separate application descriptors/basically two build scripts to compile and package them? Please suggest and let me know if more explanation is needed.
    Thanks,
    Swathi.

    why are you wanting to use single frames?
    They allow having the initial frame address stay in the
    address bar, and not
    show the linked page's address. The problems they cause
    usually override any
    value.
    Or- if we aren't using the same words the same way, please
    give an example
    site of what you want to do.

  • OWB Can't Import Existing Package with Collection Data Type as Arguments

    I created a package and compiled it successfully as the follows:
    +++++++++++++++++++++++++++++
    CREATE OR REPLACE PACKAGE PACKAGE_TEST AS
    TYPE Num_LIST IS TABLE of NUMBER INDEX BY BINARY_INTEGER;
    FUNCTION TEST_FUNCTION1 ( arg1 NUMBER, arg2 NUMBER) RETURN NUMBER;
    FUNCTION TEST_FUNCTION2 ( args NUM_LIST) RETURN NUMBER;
    END PACKAGE_TEST;
    CREATE OR REPLACE PACKAGE BODY PACKAGE_TEST AS
    FUNCTION TEST_FUNCTION1 ( arg1 NUMBER, arg2 NUMBER) RETURN NUMBER IS
    ln_sum NUMBER;
    BEGIN
    ln_sum := arg1 + arg2;
         RETURN ln_sum;
    EXCEPTION
    WHEN OTHERS THEN
    RETURN -10000;
    END TEST_FUNCTION1;
    FUNCTION TEST_FUNCTION2 ( args NUM_LIST) RETURN NUMBER IS
         ln_sum NUMBER;
    BEGIN
    ln_sum :=0;
         FOR i IN 1.. args.COUNT LOOP
         ln_sum := ln_sum + args( i );
         END LOOP;
         RETURN ln_sum;
    EXCEPTION
    WHEN OTHERS THEN
    RETURN -10000;
    END TEST_FUNCTION2;
    END PACKAGE_TEST;
    ++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++
    Then I tried to import the package into OWB (9.2). The problem came: all the package body and
    the specification of TEST_FUNCTION1 were imported, but the package specification of
    TEST_FUNCTION2 couldn't be imported. The IMPORT FILTER gave an error message:
    "TEST_FUNCTION2: Argument Data type is not supported".
    How to resolve this problem? It is very import for our project, since we have to import some
    packages with user_defined collection data types as arguments.
    Thank you.
    Lushu

    Hi Lushu,
    Unfortunately this is indeed not supported and I would not know how to work around this one. The only way I guess that this would work is to not import it, and then use Expressions to call the function with inputs.

    There has to be some kind of code somewhere within the package. The disk itself does not contain one. You can look here for help with finding your serial number:

    Any help would be appreciated.

  • Master-Detail with 2 blocks based in stored procedure doesn't work.

    Hi. I'm Oscar and I'm new for here.
    I have a problem that i can't find the correct answer to solve it.
    Well. I've created a form with 2 blocks. Both of them have the Query Data Source Type Property to "Procedure", and both procedures on database returns one ref cursor of a record type each one.
    BLOCK BL_COMPETICIONES --> query data source: p_get_competiciones (p_Cursor is cursor of record (CODIGO NUMBER,
    NOMBRE VARCHAR2(50),
    SETCRICKETSN VARCHAR2(1),
    SET01SN VARCHAR2(1),
    FECHAINICIO DATE,
    FECHAFIN DATE).
    On triggers (on-lock, on-insert, on-delete and on-update) I have the call to the corresponding stored procedure to lock, insert, delete or update.
    Well, when i've only this block in form, the form works correctly.
    But when I added a second block (which is suppossed to be a detailed data from the first one), and after I've assigned the query procedure and created the relation between both blocks, then run the form and try to execute query on first block, returning records correctly, but then, when execution goes to the program unit "query_master_details", the sentence "execute query" doesn't do anything (and the cursor is in the detailed block), so detailed block continues to be without records.
    I don't know how to solve this. Someone can help me, please?. Thanks.

    It could be that there is something screwy with LV, but given that it uses standard interfaces for comm with the DBMS, I would not expect that. A much more realistic possibility is that the toolkit is mucking things up. (A fairly common occurrence.)
    Try bypassing the toolbox -- which you don't really need anyway -- an talk directly to the ActiveX or .net interface.
    Also, what DBMS? What drivers are you using?

  • Is RoboHelp for Word packaged with RoboHelp 11?

    Is RoboHelp for Word packaged with RoboHelp 11?

    No. The last version to include Rh for Word was Rh10. Is there a specific reason for wanting to stick with Rh for Word? There is a learning curve with Rh HTML but it shouldn't be too difficult.

  • Unable to access classes in third party jar files packaged with my ejb.jar

    I have packaged some third party jar files in my xxx_ejb.jar file.  The third party jar file contains classes that are accessed by some custom classes which are in turn accessed by my bean classes.  I get the following error when my custom classes attempt to use any of the classes in one of the third party jar files:
    java.lang.NoClassDefFoundError: com/Ostermiller/util/CSVParser
    Shouldn't I be able to access classes in jar files that are packaged with my xxx_ejb.jar file?  I see the xxx_ejb.jar file as a resource of the application classloader that contains it but I don't see the third party jar files.

    As per the Java EE specification, additional JAR files should be packaged on the EAR level. Only WAR files' WEB-INF/lib folder is scanned for JAR files to be added to the classloader.

  • Workaround to use drives with 4096b block for mirrored RAID?

    I have 2 Hitachi 2TB Drives. One is a few months old and uses 512b blocks, the other is the same model, but newer and uses 4096b blocks.
    When I try to set up the RAID Set I get the error: MediaKit reports block size error, usually caused by not being a multiple of 512.
    From reading the message board, it looks like this a known bug when trying to encrypt drives with 4K block sizes or add them to a RAID Array.
    Is there any way to set these up as a mirrored RAID array other than waiting for apple to fix the problem? Are there third party apps that can be used to fix this problem?
    Thank you for your time.

    I have the exact same problem, and until Apple solves this bug, I no longer have a hard drive large enoug for my Time Machine back-ups. I have submitted the bug, but I really need a solution. Please help!

  • I can't install Photoshop Elements 9 that was packaged with my Bamboo tablet

    I bought a Bamboo Create tablet in October, but I recently migrated my pc from XP to Windows 8, so I have to re-install all my programs. Elements 9 was packaged with the product alongside three other softwares that I installed successfully, but this one resisted two installations. I would like to know how to solve that problem or if there is an alternative way to get the software, like a download or something (I have the product key on hand).
    Thanks in advance for the answer.

    use compatibility mode (win xp should work) to install pse 9 on win 8.
