Parallel accounting for income tax

Hello Experts,
Please explain configuration process for depreciation as per income tax.
we are using depreciation as per company act, need to extend parallel accounting (general ledger) for income tax.
Thanks & regrds,
Sachin

Hi
For Indian Income Tax Depreciation, you would have to create a new depreciation area. If you are on EhP 5, please have a look at the below business function:
FIN_LOC_CI_8
This business function would need to be activate in SFW5.
The below notes are also useful:

  • Mail.app:  non-parallel structure for incoming versus outgoing servers

Manual setup of POP accounts has a non-parallel structure for incoming versus outgoing servers.
To review:  for each account you must enter setup data for a single POP  (incoming) server, but you are offered multiple choices for SMTP (outgoing)  servers, and Mail.app supports sharing a single SMTP server setup among multiple accounts.
    Why?
Why not just offer distinct setups for each account in each direction?   There must be a good reason for all this extra structure…. yes?
More specifically:  What are implications for multiple accounts, e.g.
          [email protected]
          [email protected]
using the same outgoing server?   It seems to me that Mail.app encourages you use a single SMTP server setup for both, am I correct?    But this seems to undermine proper security. I think  each account should uses its own credentials for both incoming and outgoing, yes?
In Mail.app V8.2, shipped with MacOS 10.10.2, Mail.app offers an opportunity to set up a second distinct SMTP server (in the above example, for [email protected]) but the text boxes for username and password refuse to accept text.  Is this just my experience, a local problem?  Or is it observed by others?  If so… a new way of enforcing sharing of SMTP setups, or  a bug?
I'm very curious about the long-term Mail.app design philosophy in this regard, but this is not just curiosity:  I'm having trouble with multiple email accounts after upgrading to 10.10.2  In each case, when I try to set up multiple accounts on a single mail server.
I've done quite a bit of searching for explanations of mail.app's design, without success.  It is very possible I've missed some relevant explanations.  If so, please provide links and accept my apologies.
    TIA

  • Defining Accounts for Automatic Tax Payable Transfer Posting

    Dear all,
I would like to know about accouting process of Accounts for Automatic Tax Payable Transfer Posting.
Please give me a detail example about business that use this account
    Thanks so much
    Minhtb

    Hello,
This scenario applies at month end.
Say during the month you have posted payables are receivables resulting in the following balances on your tax accounts:
    Input tax account: 10.000 Dr
    Outpux tax account 12.500 Cr
When you prepare your tax return at month end with report "Sales Purchases tax returns", it will print out all if your input and output tax transactions, detailing the total balances mentioned above.
At the same time you can activate the tax payable posting option with help of the variant options. Besides the printout, SAP will then also automatically post the following document:
    Dr Output tax account 12.500
    Cr Input tax account 10.000
    Cr Tax payable account 2.500
in other words, the input/output tax accounts are zero and the remaining (payable) balance is offet to a special clearing account, the "tax payable account". This account is then cleared against cash as part of e.g. bank processing when the payment is made and that ends the process.
hope this clarifies, please do not forget to assign POINTS if this answers your question.
    Thanks
    Rene

  • Consolidation Unit Clearing account for Income / Expenses elimination

    Hi,
When companys are leaving the group, where the parent comapany has some income/expenses elimination transactions with the company leaving, there is still balance on the parent company on consolidation unit clearing account with the company leaving the group as partener company.
This shows incorrectely the retained earning for the parent company for posting leve20 when balances on consolidation unit clearing account is not included. Please advise.
We are not unsing COI but we are using Group change functionalities when company leaves the grop.
Furthere, in all auto elimination document type for Balance Sheet Elimination and Income statement elimination, we have assigned same consolidation unit clearing account. Please advise.
    Best Regards,

When viewing the results using the standard reporting mode I suspect the balances are okay. Please clarify in detail how the data is being analyzed so we may better assist.

  • Income tax Changes for Mid year Golive

    Gurus
For Income Tax reconciliation with legacy i have used  PCR INVT and changed to ZNVT.
It is working perfectly in two scenarios
    1. Adding a Amount(MVT0) to existing Tax Amount  in /460
    2. Repaacing existing tax amount of /460 through (MVT1)
But our Client want to nullify the tax (i.e what ever the tax amount appearing in SAP without changing any Income, Gross, taxable income) they want to nullyfy the /460.
Kindly let me know how to manage this scenario on Case to case basis. (When i try to replace amount through WT 8VT1-Copy of MVT1  in It0015 , WT is not accepting 0 As value)

Are you trying to run payroll from april and match it in the system? in that case if employee has no tax deducted in the legacy system it would be highly difficult to match. It will be easier to go with mid-year go-live schema INLK.
Consequently you can update the wagetype with a value lesser than Rs 1.

  • Assigning my G/L account for Taxes(Excise) to my  Chart of Accounts

    Hi,
I am facing a problem in determing a G/L Account for my taxes on sales/purchase of goods.
So i need to create a new G/L account for taxes and assign it to my chart of accounts.
plz. help me in doing the same.
    thanking you.
    Siddharth.

    Hi
You can create GL accounts Via FS00,when creating GL accounts via FS00 you create it with reference to your chart of accounts so you need not assign a GL to your chart of accounts.
    Good Luck

  • Income Tax Depreciation-India

    Hi,
You all might be aware To Evaluate the Income Tax Depreciation in Asset Accounting we have got 2 options:-
    1.   By Adopting Addittional Depreciation Area (Depreciation Area 15 (Depreciation as per Income Tax
          Act 1961)
But the problem that I am facing is we have to give 2 Dep Key one for Book Dep & the other for Income Tax Depreciation and I have defaulted the dep keys in Asset Classes but when I am creating the Asset Master the dep key that is inputted for Book Depreciation is automatically copied to I.T Dep Area which is incorrect.
I have activated the Dep keys.
    2.   Secondly we can use Group Assets to derive I.T Depreciation I have done the necessary settings in OAYM but when Iam creating a Asset Master the Group Asset field is disabled I have checked the settings in AO21 and made Group Asset field optional but still that particular field is greyed out.
We are using ECC 6.0 Version and I have copied COD- 1IN
I just wanted to know whether SAP has withdrawn support for I.T-Depreciation-India if yes can anybody give me a reference note or country version release so that i can intimate the same to the client.
    Regards
    Sunil

    Dear Ramesh,
Thnx a lot it has worked and my problem has been solved.
    Regards
