Parse a timestamp MS SQL column so that flex would understand

How would I parse a timestamp MS SQL column so that flex
would understand when I send it to the client?
Query is written in Cold Fusion.

Go to
SQL
Server Books Online and look up Date and Time functions under

  • Databinding Problem after Update (SQL Column renaming)

    I updated my JSC yesterday. Since then I cannot bind a datatable column to a renamed SQL Column. Thats very distracting. Is there any configuartion change to do or something else.
    Another thing: Is there any check by the IDE which shows me, which component exists in the pagebean and which in the JSP. I got a lot of error regarding not existing getter and setter in the pagebean.

    Hi Marc,
    Please explain what is the problem you are facing while trying to bind a datatable column to a renamed SQL column. Are you getting any error messages, if so what are they? What are you trying to do exactly? It would be helpful if you can give a detailed step by step procedure to reproduce the problem.
    Every component that exists in the JSP will exist in the page bean too. Please explain what exactly you did to get errors about getter and setter methods. Are you adding components to the JSP source or Pagebean source manually? Again a step by step description for reproducing the problem will enable us to provide answers to your questions.
    Cheers

  • How to get table and column names thats being used in SQL , that's generating all my reports on SSRS.

    Good day,
    I searched through the forum and cant find anything.
    I have around 300 published reports on SSRS and we are busy migrating to a new system.
    They have already setup their tables on the new system and I need to provide them with a list of table names and column names that are being used currently to generate the 300 reports on SSRS.
    We use various tables and databases to generate these reports, and will take me forever to go through each query to get this info.
    Is it at all possible to write a query in SQL 2008 that will give me all the table names and columns being used?
    Your assistance is greatly appreciated.
    I thank you.
    Andre.

    There's no straightforward method for that I guess. There are couple of things you can use to get these details
    1. query the ReportServer.dbo.Catalog table
    for getting details
    you may use script below for that
    http://gallery.technet.microsoft.com/scriptcenter/42440a6b-c5b1-4acc-9632-d608d1c40a5c
    2. Another method is to run the reports and run sql profiler trace on background to retrieve queries used.
    But in some of these cases the report might be using a procedure and you will get only procedure. Then its upto you to get the other details from procedure like tables used, columns etc

    hi,
    ypur structure is bad defined.
    if you want to do an insert, the DT should be
    <ns0:MT_JDBC_RECEIVER xmlns:ns0="http://file_to_jdbc">
    ___<StatementName>
    ______<dbTableName action=”INSERT”>
    _____<table>MATMAS</table>
    _______ <access>

    ______</access>
    _____</dbTableName>
    __ </StatementName>
    </ns0:MT_JDBC_RECEIVER>
    the ROW field is used when you wait receive data from DB for example you execute and SQL Query from Sender communication channel "SELECT name FROM TABLE Names"
    so, the result of this query would be, for example:
    <row>
    ____<name>joge</name>
    </row>
    <row>
    ____<name>pepe</name>
    </row>
    <row>

  • XML Parsing error in PL/SQL

    Hello,
    I have some problem in parsing Mircrosoft OpenXML file using Oracle 10g Release2 XML Parser for PL/SQL.
    I use dbms_xmlparser, dbms_xmldom, dbms_xslprocessor packages
    OpenXML file use "w:" as namespace, so every element has prefix "w:" like
    <w:wordDocument ..>
    <w:body..>
    <w:p..>
    <w:r..>
    <w:t..>
    My job is to read OpenXML file inside PL/SQL code, parse it, and load it into the corresponding table.
    Here is my PL/SQL code.
    DECLARE
    doc dbms_xmldom.DOMDocument;
    node_list dbms_xmldom.DOMNodeList;
    l_node dbms_xmldom.DOMNode;
    one_element dbms_xmldom.DOMElement;
    PROCEDURE p (msg VARCHAR2, nl BOOLEAN := TRUE) IS
    BEGIN
    dbms_output.put_line (msg);
    IF nl THEN dbms_output.put(CHR(10)); END IF;
    END:
    BEGIN
    doc := xml.parse(BFileName('XML_DIR','OpenXMLFile.xml'));
    node_list := xpath.selectNodes(doc, '/w:wordDocument/w:body/w:p/w:r/w:t');
    FOR j IN 0..dbms_xmldom.getLength(node_list)-1
    LOOP
    p( xpath.valueOf(dbms_xmldom.item(node_list, j), '.'), nl=>FALSE );
    END LOOP;
    Here is the error message.
    ERROR at line 1:
    ORA-31011: XML parsing failed
    ORA-19202: Error occurred in XML processing
    LPX-00601: Invalid token in: '/w:wordDocument/w:body/w:p/w:r/w:t

    ORA-06512: at "SYSTEM.XPATH", line 179
    ORA-06512: at line 38
    I really don't know why I got this error message nor how to solve it. If I remove "w:" manually within open xml file, then parsing works well. I guess XML parser for PL/SQL doesn't recognize ":" or maybe doesn't support namespace?
    My question is
    1. In oracle 10g release2, XML Parser for PL/SQL can recognize ":" in the element name? or does it support namespace? If not, is there any workaround for solving this problem?
    2. How can I make XML Parser recognize ":" in the element name in the xml file or How can I declare namespace in the PL/SQL code so that PL/SQL xml parser can recognize namespace like "w:"?
    In fact, I don't use XML DB and what I want to do is just to load XML file into the relational table and some parts of whole XML file will be inserted into the CLOB in the table.
    Should I really use XML DB to do the above job?
    Any comment or suggestions will be greatly appreciated.

    This works correctly. I added prefixes to your extract path. (I had to add the xmlns:xsi to your root node also.)
    declare
      -- Local variables here
       doc_in       dbms_xmldom.DOMDocument;
       aNodeList    dbms_xmldom.DOMNodeList;
    begin
      -- Test statements here
      doc_in := dbms_xmldom.newdomdocument(
    '<?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?>' ||
    '<ap:Collection xmlns:ap="http://www.abc.com/ap" xmlns:xsi="http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema-instance" xsi:schemaLocation="http://www.abc.com/ap template.xsd"> ' ||
    '<ap:info>' ||
    '<ap:data name="Barbie" age="3">' ||
    '</ap:data>' ||
    '</ap:info>' ||
    '</ap:Collection>');
      aNodeList := dbms_xslprocessor.selectNodes(dbms_xmldom.makeNode(doc_in),
                                                 '/ap:Collection/ap:info',
                                                 'xmlns:ap="http://www.abc.com/ap"');
      dbms_output.put_line('length of aNodeList = '|| dbms_xmldom.getLength(aNodeList) );
    end;

    Solved!
    Go to Solution.

    Well a timestamp is really a 64bit + 64 bit number in LabVIEW but internally represented as a cluster of 4 * 32 Bit integer since the timestamp was intruduced before LabVIEW supported 64 bit integers.
    The first i64 is the number of seconds since January 1, 1904 UTC and the second u64 is the fractional seconds resulting in a resolution of 1/2^64 =~ 54 * 10^21 or 54 zepto seconds, which might be smaller than quantum physics allows for.
    The -916291696 is in fact the signed integer representation of the unsigned 32 bit integer 3378675600 which is the number of seconds you look for. For now this is enough but if you want to make your routine safe for after 2037 you should account for the upper signed 32 bit integer too. Java not having unsigned integers makes this a bit awkward.

  • Setting Sql Prompt to that of the connected Host

    Hi all,
    I work in a multiple Database environment. At times I've various
    sessions open in SqlPlus. My problem is its really tedious to
    keep track of which host my active window is connected to.
    All I want to do is set my sql prompt to that of the Database

    Any suggestions ????

    Here's a suggestion from another forum that should help you.
    FYI, the next version of iSQL*Plus will have this feature by
    default, so you'll always know the user and database to which
    you're connected.
    Here is how Tom Kyte does it. The following is an excerpt from
    a response he gave to a similar question:
    I use a login.sql with SQLPlus. I also make sure each and every
    database has a unique global name (alter database rename
    global_name to <some name>) or unique SID (i like the global
    name myself).
    In my login.sql i have:
    column global_name new_value gname
    set termout off
    select lower(user) || '@' ||
    decode(global_name, 'ORACLE8.WORLD', '8.0', 'ORA8I.WORLD',
    '8i', 'ORA8IDEV.WORLD', 'dev8i', global_name ) global_name from
    global_name;
    set termout on
    set sqlprompt '&gname> '
    That makes my sqlprompt look like:
    ops$[email protected]>
    So, now I have my username and database in the prompt. I just
    have to remember to use an @connect -- NOT connect when
    connecting since the login.sql is run ONCE, not after every
    connect. My @connect is simply:
    connect &1
    @login
    If you want to use the ORACLE_SID instead of the global database
    name, just "select instance global_name from v$thread" in the
    above.

  • Error while parsing or executing XML-SQL document attribute "action" missin

    Hi All,
          I am doing a scenario for IDOC to JDBC, When I push IDOC from R/3 , IDOC sent to XI System successfully,
           I have also checked in SXMB_MONI it is showing the successful staus without any errors, and I have also copied the xml structure from main document of payloads and tested the mapping in Integration Designer, and it is showing successfull message.

    What does SQL write to that allow changes to be undone or rolled back in case of a system failure?

    What does SQL write to that allow changes to be undone or rolled back in case of a system failure?
    Hello,
    If i read your question correctly you are asking about how uncommited transaction are rolled back.For this, concept of transaction log came into picture.where first changes were first made to transaction log and then into memory .Before any change is made
    to real data file change is made to trn log files so that if rollback comes it can see in log and rollback it.
    I would suggest you to read Famous article by log which will explain you

  • Question about having a master sql scrpit/file that calls other sql files

    I know that in SQL Plus, the following works:
    master.sql:
    @script1.sql
    @script2.sql
    @scriptn.sql
    My problem is, I'm using the sql maven plugin and the jdbc driver doesn't seem to like the @script.sql syntax. So the question is two-fold. Is it possible to get this master script behavior using the jdbc driver and not SQL Plus. Second, is the @script.sql syntax, specific to SQL Plus?
    Thanks!
    Justin

    The @<<script>> syntax is specific to SQL*Plus. I'm not familiar with the "sql maven plugin", so I have no idea whether it has some analogous syntax for calling scripts in other files or not. The JDBC API works just with SQL statements, not scripts, so whatever application (I'm guessing SQL Maven?) that is using the JDBC driver has to interpret the @<<script>> syntax.
