Parse and render XML... and get original replicated?
Now that I've (temporarily) got iFS working (on another machine for now). I've got an XML question: I moved the airportdefinition.xml into the folder, and then subsequently moved the airport.xml into the folder, whereupon iFS parsed it and stored it. Yeah! However when examining (or copy out) the stored data, it is somewhat different than the original:

We'd like (to have cake and eat it) to be able to store parsed xml (to support queryability, indexing, reporting, etc.) but also want to be able to recreate the original xml UNCHANGED.
If we don't parse it, we can have unchanged data, but then limit the queryability. Other than storing the xml document twice (both parsed and not) is there any way to do this?

- here the actual problem is the xml node <enclosure> contains images but in using the method "didEndElement" , it doesn't parse into the <enclosure> node. ya so please help me in parsing and getting the image.

Can convert my files to a lower quality to edit, and then render it to get the full original HD?
I have Adobe Media Converter (obvisiouly) and I need to find a way where I can lower the quality in the clips to make it really smooth to edit, and then render it in the original full HD.
The better option is to update your computer hardware.

How can I parse GPO settings and get the GPOApplyOrder?
I have created a script that will search all GPO's in the domain and parse only those which have Drive Map settings and writes the information to a .csv file. I have tried to figure out a way to get the GPOApplyOrder to no avail. The closest
I have come to any sort of reasonable output is
"@{GPOSettingOrder=}", which is better than the nothing I had been getting. I think it would be really helpful if I could sort on the appy order so I could see the flow of the applied settings. Here is what I have.

Hi,
I am trying to load the XML Parser and XSLT processor into the XDK that i have. Please can someone tell me how this is done. So far i keep hearing about classpath and .jar files. i have no idea what to do with these. Is there a manual which will tell me how to do this? Or can anyone explain to me?. Or can anyone tell me how to check if they are already there, the technican installed the software but does not know how to use it!, so i am very lost with this and am using it for my masters project.

QUESTION: How can I take in an element with attributes from an XML and output the same element and attributes while preserving the order of those attributes?
The following code will parse and XML document and generate (practically) unchanged output. However, all attributes are ordered a-z
Example: The following element

}You can't. The reason is, the XML Recommendation explicitly says the order of attributes is not significant. Therefore conforming XML serializers won't treat it as if it were significant.
If you have an environment where you think that the order of attributes is significant, your first step should be to reconsider. Possibly it isn't really significant and you are over-reaching in some way. Or possibly someone writing requirements is ignorant of this fact and the requirement can be discarded.
Or possibly your output is being given to somebody else who has a defective parser which expects the attributes to be in a particular order. You could quote the XML Recommendation to those people but often XML bozos are resistant to change. If you're stuck writing for that parser then you'll have to apply some non-XML processing to your output to fix it up on their behalf. -

I have an old ipod (it's the very thin oblong one in purple, the one before the one that does video) and want to know how to get everything off it and into my iTunes library. My old computer died and the original library was lost, so don't have any of the content saved anywhere else. I now have an iPhone 5S and listen to music on that, so want to be able to listen to things from the old ipod too.
Can anyone help please?

JaneApple normally does not get involved in handling lost objects like this. Since a real name is not installed it will be much more difficult.
You can try contacting Apple support at the US number, assume you are US going to BWI from the listing: http://support.apple.com/kb/HE57 and explain the situation and see if they offer any suggestions. -
I have been working on the same numbers file for the past few weeks. The last time I opened it was 1 week ago. Today when I tried to open it I am unable and getting a message that the file is invalid and the index.xml file is missing.

I upgraded to Maverick OS X 10.9.5, numbers spreadsheet is saved. Upon re-opening, it appears to be frozen, a warning "file is invalid as index.xml file is missing". I checked, and the file is not "locked". This appears to occur only with using the new numbers app. When I open previous spreadsheets from old iWorks, no such problem occurs.
How did you resolve your problem?
Would appreciate any help here.

I want to de-install mac-excel test version and get the error message: 'You have not the privileges to de-install. Please login with the Mac-OS account you have installed mac-excel originally'. I don't know this account anymore. Possibly it does not exist anymore. anybody out there who can help ?
Hi, I may suggest to activate the root account and try the uninstall process from that account. To do so, you have to:
Go to System Preferences a open up the Users pane;
On the left side of the pane, you shuold see Login Options;
Enabled editing option clicking on the lock (it will ask your password);
Once the pane is enabled, you should see something like Server Account Network (sorry my OS is in italian, so I don't exactly know the right translation), and right next to it a button;
Click on that button, and a new pane shows up. Click on Open Directory Utility, and on the upper bar of OS X click on Edit;
Select Enable Root Account (you can set a password, or not);
Done that, you should log out and when the login window show up, type on the user field "root" and the password you choose;
Theorically, from this account you will be able to unistall the application.
After completing your task, I reccomend you to disable the root account, just by loggin in your personal account and repeating the steps I described before. Hope it helps -

I am using my ipad 2 ( bought in USA) for about 3 years. 2 weeks back the touch gesture was completely out of control and the screen was jumping automatically to so many applications. I attempted to get original settings through settings menu, but unfortunately while resuming when I typed a pass code the touch gesture , without control it typed unknown passcode and while confirming the passcode as well same thing happened.
Now my Iapd2 is disabled and itunes also not recognizing my ipad.
