Parse error problem sharing to Flickr

Using PSE10 on iMAC running V10.7.5 software.
I have successfully shared images in the past directly to Flickr from PSE using the "share" tag.
Last night and today when I try to share images directly with Flickr I get the following message:
"Online Services encountered an error. The service will now be terminated or paused if possible.
(Error 7:An XML parse failure occurred. [error=3, line=1, column=0])."
Anyone come accross this issue before.
Any help appreciated.
Thanks
James

Hi, just to let everyone know that a few days after I raised this issue the problem mysteriously rectified itself. I did not do anything on my mac that would have resolved the issue, so I suspect the problem was with Flickr itself  or with something, somewhere down the line.

  • Fatal Error:  Problem parsing signature --D

    I get "Fatal Error: Problem parsing signature --D" followed by the name of the class that I'm attempting to initialize. This occurs when I run the program, however I don't get this when I am debugging. Does anyone know what this means and how I can fix it?
    Thanks,
    Tyler

    I figured it out. My problem was that there was some kind of error happening in my code. I believe is was a couple of null pointer exceoptions or something along those lines. Once I debugged the hell out of my code, I was able to run the app completely without the error. I'm sure the same thing is happening with you as well.

  • Problem when adding ascx user control in the MasterPage: Parser Error Message: The referenced file ... is not allowed on this page.

    Hello,
    I have to maintain a SharePoint 2010 project, in which a TopNavigation User Control for SiteCollection is registered in the MasterPage in this way:
    <%@ Register TagPrefix="ABC" TagName="TopNavigation" src="~/_layouts/ABCApplication/MainSite/Navigation/TopNavigation.ascx" %>
    <asp:ContentPlaceHolder id="PlaceHolderTopNavBar" runat="server">
    <asp:ContentPlaceHolder id="PlaceHolderHorizontalNav" runat="server">
                                        <ABC:TopNavigation ID="TopNavi" XMLDataLocation="/_layouts/ABCApplicatopm/MainSite/TopNavigation.xml" IsRoot="true"
    runat="server" />
    </asp:ContentPlaceHolder>
    </asp:ContentPlaceHolder>
    When I deploy the SiteCollection, the TopNavigation user control is working correctly. Unfortunately when i modify the masterpage over SharePoint Designer, the following error message comes allways, regardless of the art of changes i did in the MAsterPage
    ( even if I open the MasterPage, add an space and do save/close the MasterPage).
    "Problem when adding user control in my custom master page, Parser Error Message: The referenced file '/_layouts/Navigation/TopNavigation.ascx' is not allowed on this page."
    Any ideas?

    Hi Simon,
     When we use UserControl in SharePoint Page or MasterPage, and the UserControl is kept in any folder other than ControlTemplates, we will got the error. Here is an article about this issue and provided the solution:
    http://sharepoint-tina.blogspot.com/2009/07/referenced-file-pathxyzascx-is-not.html
    The solution can also be used in SharePoint 2010.

  • Slipstream Problem (Parse Error during installation)

    Hello, well, I am posting because I have wasted about 40 hours of my time, and 2 spindles of CDs trying to get a working slipstreamed Windows CD.
    Basically, what happens, is that I format the drive for NTFS, it does its thing, it reboots, I hold down alt/option, and then I select the "Windows" drive, and from there, the installation begins, then an error box pops up, notifying me about a parse error on line 0 of some sxs.dll or something.
    Anyone got any idea? I am sick of slipstreaming the **** thing; I just want to play Fallout, and I am about to go waste my money and buy another Windows disc, but that is my last resort.

    *"How can you be so sure that this issue is 'strictly windows related'?"*
    Because based on your original post your issue is related to your creation of the slipstreamed disc...and that disc contains Windows.
    Have you tried booting your PC with the slipstreamed disc? If it doesn't work there either, then yes...it's a Windows only issue, and not relevant to these forums.
    *"expect that they will only be referenced to a better forum, where members are more intelligent and polite, and are able to answer questions."*
    Wouldn't that be where you would want to go anyway, to resolved your question? I'd think so, so why complain? You don't seem to realize that this is first and foremost an Apple forum...Windows experts are likely few and far between on these forums.
    Regardless, your ultimate goal would be to run Boot Camp to play your games, therefore it would probably make more sense to post your question in the Boot Camp forums:

  • Parser Error In Portlet Startup

    We have a portlet application that uses Crystal Reports. It uses the spring framework and runs fine in our development environment (Pluto) but when trying to deploy on the production environment (WebSphere) we get an xml parsing error during the startup. Removing the Crystal Reports jars solves the problem but of course the reports portion of the application won't work. So is there a different set of jars for portal and specifically WebSphere? Or is there xml related functionality in the CR jars  and would eliminating them from the lib solve the problem since there may be framework jars that provide the same functionality in the production environment?
    Here's a snippet of the error:
    Unexpected exception parsing XML document from ServletContext resource [/WEB-INF/sys-cfg/applicationContext.xml]; nested exception is java.lang.VerifyError: javax/xml/parsers/DocumentBuilder.setEntityResolver(Lorg/xml/sax/EntityResolver;)

    The only officially tested and fully supported product for Crystal Reports on Portal Servers/Portlets are the JSR-168 Portal Integration Kits supplied with BusinessObjects Enterprise or Crystal Reports Servers.
    There's currently not a fully tested Portal solution for Crystal Reports Java Reporting Component.
    There's no different sets of jars for different Web Application Servers with any Business Objects products.
    Are you able to isolate which XML file contains the problematic schema?  I'm assuming the error message you have does not show this info.
    Other than that, a possible difference is that different XML parsers are being used between your dev and prod web app servers.   I've known issues where the XML parser supplied with Crystal was incompatible with the shared default parser supplied with Web App Servers.

    Ted Ueda

  • XML Parsing error: not well-formed (invalid token) (error code 4) --- Urgent Help Needed!

    Hi all, what im doing now is im trying to create a database connection my my MS SQL 2005 database. I created a data source and went to my Adobe Lifecycle Designer 7.1, i created a new data connection, selected OLEDB and created the connection string using the build function.
    Ok, now the problem is, after creating the new data connection and i click on the preview tab, i will receive the error stated above.
    'XML Parsing error: not well-formed (invalid token) (error code 4), line 444, column 1 of file'
    Does anyone know why am i receiving this error and how do i go about solving this?
    I need this database connection to pre-fill my form when the user downloads the form =(

    I have a vital form that clients fill out, which is passed to many people in the company along the workflow. The form is a Planner and we have in the following PDF, Word Doc..
    Well before, the Planner.pdf was originally created in Word, since most people have access to Word.. but evolved to a PDF form created from the Word Doc via Adobe LiveCycle Designer 8.0 w/ User Rights enabled so that the form could be filled out and saved using Adobe Reader.. which was a step better than Word.. being that it is free. But this needed to be easier and more to the point b/c some clients don't particularly like installing the latest version of Reader, even if you provide them the link. Nor do they like saving the form, filling the form, and attaching the form to send back.
    My goal is to have the client fill an HTML version of the form, submit and be done with it, but everyone in the workflow be able to easily receive the filled Planner as a PDF form.
    So some months ago I ran into this post Chris Trip, "Populate Livecycle PDF from mySQL database using PHP" #8, 22 Sep 2007 4:37 pm
    which uses the command line Win32 pdftk.exe to merge an FDF file into an existing PDF on the remote server, and serve this to whoever.
    My problem was with shared hosting and having the ability to use the Win32 pdftk.exe along with PHP which is predominantly used on Linux boxes. And we used a Linux box.
    so i created the following unorthodox method, which a client fills the HTML version of the Planner, all field values are INSERTED into a table in MySQL DB, I and all filled planners that have been filled by clients to date can be viewed from a repository page where an XML file is served up of the corresponding client, but someone would have to have Acrobat Professional, to import the form data from the XML file into a blank form.. altoughh this is simple for me.. I have the PHP file already created so that when a Planner is filled and client submits. >> the an email is sent to me with a table row from the repository of the client name, #, email, and a link to d-load the XML file,
    But I also have the PHP files created so that the Planner can be sent to by email to various people in the workflow with certain fileds ommitted they they do not need to see, but instead of the XML file beiong served up i need the filled PDF Planner to be served.
    I can do this locally with ease on a testing server, but I am currently trying to use another host that uses cross-platform compatibility so i can use PHP and the pdftk.exe to achieve this, as that is why I am having to serve up an XML file b/c we use a Linux server for our website, and cant execute the exe.
    Now that I am testing the other server (cross-platform host), just to use them to do the PDF handling (and it's only $5 per month) I am having problems with getting READ, WRITE, EXECUTE permissions..
    Si guess a good question to ask is can PHP do the same procedure as the pdftk.exe, and i can eleminate it.
    or how in the heck can i get this data from the DB into a blank PDF form, like i have described??

  • RE: [iPlanet-JATO] Parse error in JSP parser in IAS6

    Hi Todd,
    removing the defaultValue="" attribute works.
    I have not got around to testing the SP3.
    BTW. The reason the default value tag was added was to stop Null pointer
    exceptions being thrown in the
    HrefTag.beginDisplay().
    buffer.append("?")
    .append(field.getQualifiedName()) // "FooHref"
    .append("=")
    .append(URLEncoder.encode(value.toString())); // "/foo"
    If you don't explicitly add a defaultValue="" to the jsp HREF tag ,
    HrefTag.getDefaultValue() returns null.
    Our hack was to add the following in HrefTag.java.
    if (value==null)
    value=getDefaultValue();
    //===========================
    //IP6 ADDED THE FOLLOWING LINE
    value = (value== null? "":value);
    //============================
    Is that pheasible work-around ? This eliminates the need to add
    defaultValue="" to all HREF tags.
    Also, I might as well point another behavior that we encountered with HREFS.
    In ND, if a HREF's display Field was bound to a column in DataObject and the
    particular record had no value, no URL would be rendered on the page.
    The HTML would look something like this( from memory ):
    <A
    HREF="../AppName/PgMsgMain.hrfSubject_onWebEvent(hrfSubject).994226335140? +
    ND URL STUFF"></A>
    In JATO by default a url get displayed with "null" as the link. ie.
    <a href="../AppName/PgMsgMain?PgMsgMain.hrfSubject= + URL STUFF">null</a>
    Our hack was modify the HrefTag.doEndTag method to not append "null" to the
    buffer.
    if (displayed)
    buffer.append(getBodyContent().getString().equals("null")? "":
    getBodyContent().getString()))
    // IP6 HACK buffer.append(getBodyContent().getString())
    .append("</a>");
    writeOutput(fireEndDisplayEvent(buffer.toString()));
    Is there a better way to do this?

    Hey Kostas--
    I personally haven't seen this kind of error. Have you tried simplifying
    the expression inside the href tag? For example:
    <% Object foo =
    viewBean.getRptAssignmentMatch().getvwAssignmentMatchModel().getValue(
    vwAssignmentMatchModel.FIELD_ASSIGNMENT_ASSIGNMENT_ID);
    %>
    <jato:href name="hrefASSIGNMENT_ASSIGNMENT_ID" fireDisplayEvents="true">
    <%= foo %>
    </jato:href>
    Also, is there a different version you could upgrade to? iAS SP3 includes
    the Jasper compiler from Tomcat, which should behave quite differently.

    I have a list in SharePoint 2010 with 100 columns where 25 of them are calculated columns. This list is designed by InfoPath 2010 with two secondary data connections to pull a few data from another two lists. There are 25 set value rules with the submit
    button in InfoPath from. At present, the list is containing around 1000 items.
    The problem is, when I published the InfoPath form it throws an error:
    The SOAP message cannot be parsed.
    In fact, the execution timeout is set to 3600 in config file. When I delete items from the list and keep it around 700 the InfoPath form publish then.
    Could somebody tell me why this problem and what is the possible solution.
    Thanks in advance.

    Hi pointtoshare,
    According to your description, my understanding is that you got an error when you published InfoPath form.
    Please modify the web.config file like :
    <location path="_layouts/UploadEx.aspx">
         <system.web>
           <httpRuntime maxRequestLength="51200" executionTimeout="300" />
         </system.web>
       </location>
    And modify the <securityPolicy> section like :
    The web.config file is in C:\inetpub\wwwroot\wss\VirtualDirectories\spwebappname.
    There is another reason for this issue, please take a look at :

  • Since installing the latest update, Firefox will not load; it gives me the following error -- XML Parsing Error: not well formed.

    since installing the latest update, Firefox first operated with some errors but now will not load at all; it gives me the following error --
    XML Parsing Error: not well formed
    locations chrome://browser/content/browser.xml
    Line Number 1191, column 20:
    utton id="back-forward-dropmarker" type="menu" chromedir="&locale.dir;"-------------------
    please note that the words "utton ID" are exactly as the error message gives it; and at the end of the message there are exactly 19 hyphens.
    I don't know why this faulty code is referencing things to do with "chrome"... the Chrome browser is not installed on this PC or anywhere on our network.
    Also, this is not the first problem I had after clicking Firefox's prompt for the latest update. Before Firefox retreated into this error message, it was loading but running with some faults...
    1. the bookmark symbol was not appearing on the right hand side of the URL line, so I had always to click on "bookmark this page", after which the bookmark symbol did appear; however I don't know if the bookmarking function worked properly.
    2. the back and forward buttons were not highlighted, as if I had not come from a previous page; so once I clicked on a link to a new page I could not go back to where I came from because Fiefox thought I hadn't come from anywhere.
    3. there may have been other errors, but I did not find them.
    How do I reinstate my Firefox program to work properly please? do I have to download the latest version and reinstal? if so, do I have to remove the old version first? or is there a fix?
    Even to write this message I have been forced to use (yuk -- I don't like to say this!!!) Internet Explorer. So please -- I need help urgently.
    Thanks,
    NOEL

    Some how I solved my problem by opening a user account and downloading Firefox 4.0 beta and installing it, I did try it, worked fine, so I did close the user account and did go back to my own account(switched user), the main page that I had problem with Firefox which would not open, I dabble click on Firefox it start working again!! I hope that solves your problem too.
    firefox will not open, it gives me this cod and would not turn off, Error on switching in renew: NS_ERROR_UNEXPECTED, Component returned failure code: 0x8000ffff (NS_ERROR_UNEXPECTED) [nsIPrefBranch.getCharPref] id: none

  • Weird Parsing Error in Safari 5.0

    I've just updated my web browser to Safari 5.0 and I'm in a "Introduction to JavaScript" class. I'm trying to do a lab which:
    1). Creates a website that includes: - Your name (First and Last)
    2). Sets up a unordered list with Three links to your favorite websites
    The problem is that though my code works in Firefox, I keep getting a Syntax Error: Parse Error at line 15 (Where the document.write statement outputs a unordered list of "a href" url links). I'm at wits end and the syntax seems fine. Does anyone have any suggestions? Oh, by the way here's my code for the lab:
    <!DOCTYPE HTML PUBLIC "-//W3C//DTD HTML 4.01//EN" "http://www.w3.org/TR/html4/strict.dtd">
    <html>
    <head>
    <meta http-equiv="Content-Type" content="text/html; charset=iso-8859-1">
    <title>Lab1</title>
    <script type="text/javascript">
    //Prompts for my name
    var userName = prompt("Please enter your name");
    document.write (userName);
    //displays my picture and my favorites places in HTML
    document.write("<br />");
    document.write("<img src='mygradpic.jpg'/>");
    document.write("<br />");
    document.write("My Favorite Places");
    document.write(<ul>
    <li><a href="http://www.seattle.gov/parks/park_detail.asp?ID=307">Greenlake Park in Seattle,WA</a></li>
    <li><a href="http://www.cinerama.com/TemplateHome.aspx?contentId=1">Cinerama Theatre in Downtown Seattle</a></li>
    <li><a href="http://www.spl.org/">The Seattle Public Library</a></li>
    </ul>);
    </script>
    </head>
    <body>
    </body>
    </html>

    This is a syntax error:
    document.write(
    Greenlake Park in Seattle,WA
    Cinerama Theatre in Downtown Seattle
    The Seattle Public Library
    ... because the argument isn't a string. That should be:
    document.write('
    Greenlake Park in Seattle,WA
    Cinerama Theatre in Downtown Seattle
    The Seattle Public Library
    ... note that the argument is enclosed in single-quotes an the carriage returns are removed. That said, your intro to JavaScript class should teach you that document.write() is poor form.

    I am getting the same error even in Acrobat version 8.1.3.
    Additionally, I noticed that if we click on menu ‘Advanced->Sign&Certify->Preview Document’, then we get a notification as “This document is not PDF/SigQ compliant and may display inconsistently”. On clicking  ‘View report’ on that notification, the below dialog pops up. It has errors listed as:-
    Code 4000 : Unrecognized PDF content. The document contains PDF content or custom content not supported by the current version of Acrobat.
    Code 4002: PDF content contains erros.
    However, if we sign the PDF using default adobe signature functionality and reopen that PDF, the error does NOT come and the notification also says ‘This document is PDF/SigQ compliant’.
    Can anybody please suggest what could be missing in the custom sign that we apply? Is it because of any of the missing fonts or any other resources?
    Awaiting reply!
    Regards.
