Parse errors in lightbox.css

Question

Hi all,
I have this line in my lightbox css file:
#prevLink, #nextLink{ width: 49%; height: 100%; background-image: url(data;image/gif;base64,AAAA); /* Trick IE into showing hover */ display: block; }
and validating gives me this error message:

I am completely blank on what parse error is. Anybody know how the line should be corrected?

It simply means that the CSS rule is invalid. The problem lies here
background-image: url(data;image/gif;base64,AAAA); /* Trick IE into showing hover */ display: block; }
As the comment indicates, it's a hack to trick Internet Explorer. The hack uses invalid code. That's why you get the error.
How can you fix it? You can't, without your CSS failing in older versions of IE. It's your choice: styles that work, or valid code.
