in this condition ..let say for my each time out i need to check the text..and if the value is 0/5
i need to call the " Radio Button :Value Change" event..
how to do tis pls help. thk u

Go to Solution.

Hi Jeyanthi,
Assuming that the string data is pulled out from a user interface, and is labeled as STRING.
 Add value change event to the STRING.
Check your 0/5 condition in new event case
Now, Instead of calling the value (signalling) property, create a sub VI of the code which executes in value change event of Radio control
call the same sub VI in STRING value change event.
its just to delete the code from timeout event.
 Also if the problem is solved, just mark the answer as solved.

  • Pass value at run time from one structure to diffrent structure

    hi  experts.
    i  m  workin on  crm domain  and faching problem to pass value  from one stucture to another . problem is that i want the output in xml file so i need all the values interm  of segment.
    initialy  i have  this structure.
    DATA: BEGIN OF struc1 occurs 0,
           ST_ORDERADM_H TYPE CRMT_ORDERADM_H_WRKT,
           ST_PRICING    TYPE CRMT_PRICING_WRKT,
           ST_ORGMAN     TYPE CRMT_ORGMAN_WRKT,
           ST_PARTNER    TYPE CRMT_PARTNER_EXTERNAL_WRKT,
          END OF struc1.
    and using fm CALL FUNCTION 'CRM_ORDER_READ' i got values  on this structure at run time.
    MOVE LT_ORDERADM_H  to STRUC1-ST_ORDERADM_H.
    MOVE LT_ORGMAN      to STRUC1-ST_ORGMAN.
    MOVE LT_PARTNER     to STRUC1-ST_PARTNER.
    MOVE LT_PRICING     to STRUC1-ST_PRICING.
    and after that using
    try.
      CALL TRANSFORMATION id
        SOURCE data_node = STRUC1
        RESULT XML xmlstring.
        CATCH cx_st_error.
    endtry.
    CLEAR:   tab_xstring,
             lv_filename,
             lv_path,

             lv_user_action.
    REFRESH: tab_xstring.
    lv_bytes = XSTRLEN( xmlstring ).
    IF lv_bytes > 0.
      lv_xstring = xmlstring.
      DO.
        APPEND lv_xstring TO tab_xstring.
        lv_xcnt = XSTRLEN( lv_xstring ).

        ELSE.
          EXIT.
        ENDIF.
      ENDDO.
    now it  convert to xml file .
    problem is  it gives  me value of all field associated with  standared structure.
    but  client requirment is that  he want only selected values of given structure.
    so i think i make  a new structure for given value  but  i m not able  to get values in new structure.
    thanks

    Hi,
    create a structure in se11 with following fields
    ST_ORDERADM_H.
    ST_ORGMAN.
    ST_PARTNER.
    ST_PRICING.
    for example as STRUCT2.
    data : begin of i_struct2 occurs 0.
       include structure struct2.
    data : end of i_struct2.
    MOVE LT_ORDERADM_H to i_STRUCt2-ST_ORDERADM_H.
    MOVE LT_ORGMAN to i_STRUCt2-ST_ORGMAN.
    MOVE LT_PARTNER to i_STRUCt2-ST_PARTNER.
    MOVE LT_PRICING to i_STRUCt2_PRICING.
    then
    try.
    CALL TRANSFORMATION id
    SOURCE data_node = i_STRUCt2
    RESULT XML xmlstring.

  • How to change SmartView time out value

    Hi,
    I'm using EPM 9.3.1 and SmartView 11.1.1.3.
    When I try to open a large data form via SmartView I get error "Couldn't connect to a provider. Address to your Administator to increase time out and attempts count values".
    Tell me please, how can I change these values.

    Hi,
    You try and edit essbase.properties in \Hyperion\products\Essbase\aps\bin and increase the following values, you probably need to restart aps to apply the changes.
    # Specifies values for Essbase Server network connection
    # HPS will try netConnectRetry times to connect to an Essbase Server.
    # HPS will wait for netDelay milli-seconds before re-trying a connect operation
    # HPS will wait for netSocketTimeOut milli-seconds before timing out IO operation on socket. A zero value will result in infinite timeout.
    olap.server.netConnectRetry=3
    olap.server.netDelay=200
    olap.server.netSocketTimeOut=200
    Cheers

  • List of Values (dynamic parameter) times out once and then works.

    Hello.  First time posting here.  I'm having a strange (yet very predictable) issue with Crystals Reports List of Values.  The List of Values is used on a dynamic cascading prompt and is published to the BO XI R2 repository.  The prompt/list works fine when using Crystal Reports thick client, but when using the Crystal Reports viewer from InfoView the following happens everytime:
    1.  Any Report that uses the Parameter/LOV is launched.
    2.  After about 1-2 minutes, the viewer returns a "Timeout" error message.
    3.  The report is launched a 2nd time.
    4.  The parameters/LOVs display (takes about 8 seconds) and the report runs fine.
    Then anytime a report is run within a certain period of time it works ok.  But if no one runs a report for an extended period of time (i'm not sure how long, but it's on the order of maybe 30 mins.. to an hour), then it starts all over again.  In addition, if I restart the services/server this same thing will immediately occur.  (time out once, but work after that for a period of time).
    I initially did not schedule the LOV to get generated on the server and left it so that it's done in real-time when the report ran.  But then when I ran into this error, I tried scheduling it every 10 minutes or so, but the error continues to happen.
    I also restarted the server/etc to no avail.
    I saw another post on here that was kind of similar and that suggested that starting the LOV services as a domain user (that had admin rights on the BO server) helped him.  I tried this as well and restarted everything but that didn't fix my issue.
    Any help would be greatly appreciated!
    Scott

    Just wanted to update this.
    Because I use Business Objects OEM, I didn't have direct support with SAP/Business Objects.  However, because of this issue (and other issues) we purchased Business Objects Edge 3.0.
    After getting BOE 3 installed/configured, I migrated those reports and underlying Business Views over.
    And guess what?   The problem still occurred on the new platform.
    I then created a support incident and the person that initially tried to help me couldn't figure out what was going on.
    However, during that time, I did try re-creating the report using a newer version of Crystal (Crystal 2008) and the problem went away.  (note, I didn't recreate the business views.. just the reports).
    So bottom line:
    I created all reports from scratch instead of using the reports that I migrated from BO XI R2/CR XI and no longer had the problem.
    The techs never figured out the exact cause of the issue.
    So far, my experience with their support has been the same on all incidents.  They don't seem to be trained (at least at the 1st level) for actually using the debug/logs/etc to help quickly pinpoint/analyze issues.  They do basically like I do (the end user) and smartly poke around and do trail/error.  I have yet to get a support tech that knew the exact nature of my issue and could solve it without this kind of trial/error approach.

  • Bex query. Select single values in variable time out.

    I have created a variable on characteristic 0profit_ctr which works fine for all queries on all Infoproviders except for one.  With this particular Infoprovider, which is a DSO when the option to show u201CSingle Valuesu201D is selected in the variable screen the query just hangs and eventually time-outs. I have tried including the DSO in a mult-provider but still have the same issue. The variable works on other DSOu2019s with exactly the same settings. This DSO has less data than the other DSOu2019s which work fine.
    I know that 0profit_ctr is compounded with 0co_area which I have tried restricting with no change in the result.
    I would be grateful of any ideas.
    Thanks
    Jenny

    Hi Durgesh.
    I checked the settings and although they were the same as other infoproviders I changed the query filter value to use the values in the master data table and this has solved my problem.
    Thanks for your tip.

    You'll need to enable digital filtering--insert the following property node into your code (call the property node before starting the task):
    Try a "Min Pulse Width" of a few us and increase it if you still are picking up incorrect readings.
    The errant numbers are coming from false edges being picked up during transitions, enabling digital filtering will cause the DAQ device to ignore any transitions with a pulse width of less than the set value.  Your 475 Hz 72% duty cycle signal should have a high time of about 1.52 ms and a low time of about .59 ms):
    656 Hz = ~1/(high time)
    1718 Hz = ~1/(low time)
    MHz values = multiple edges picked up during a single transition.

  • Wht are the impacts if Scheduling Indicator changed from Time  to time- fac

    Dear PM Guru's
    As per the requirement now i like to change the scheduling indicator from Time to Time - Factory calendar. I created Factory calendar and transported to Production server, if i changed the scheduling indicator from time to factory calendar wht are the impacts on scheduling the maintenance plans, orders. Please suggest me if i want to change that one what are the prerequisities required?
    thanks in advance to all
    regards
    Jalu

    Hi,
        I think
    1. If in ur Factory Calender  if ur putting sat/sund as holidays then any existing call dates of maintenance palns  on these dates will be shifted accordingly to next working day - mostly mondays ..
    2. I think u can change the scheduling indicator , and put Factory calender in IP02 , later u can restart all ur plans -either deleting the existing HOLD calls or skipping them , thus when ur restart - new call dates will be calculated as per the working days in your factory calender ..
    3. As u would restart the MP , it would calculate dates as per the new FC assigned, so call dates will be on working days, so orders will get created on working days ..
    4. You can also look at the option of Mass changes of Maintenance Plans for changing the Schduling Indicator and assigning Factory calender ..
    5.Check this link for Mass Maintenance:http://help.sap.com/saphelp_di471/helpdata/en/a1/5959394ba2cd4ae10000000a114084/frameset.htm

  • Passing "Value Objects" from one JSP to next  (2)

              Someone posted a response from BEA which has since disappeared, it was no different
              from what I was doing and it I still can't get it to store the information in
              the Value Object.
              I get values (true/false) from a Radio button on a FORM in a JSP, press a "Next
              Step" Button.
              I have a "Value Object" in JSP_1, which I use the setters to store various information
              obtained from the <FORM>. I then "jsp:forward" to JSP_2, set different information
              and then I "jsp:forward" to JSP_3 & so on. At the end of the JSP chain only the
              last setter is has the value "true", all the other values are false, despite all
              being "set" to "true".
              The "Value Object" is not storing the information set in previous JSPs. When I
              initially create the "value object" I use;
              <jsp:useBean id="myVO" class="uk.co.notify.valueobjects.MyVO" scope="request"
              />
              <jsp:setProperty name="myVO" property="*"/>
              In JSP_2 JSP999 I don't use <jsp:setProperty> I let the setter in the VO do
              it.
              I am using WebLogic 6.1 sp2 under Windows 2K Pro.
              Any pointers. Thanks.
              [att1.html]

    Ok. here's the difference.
              Hitting submit is altogether a different "new" http request. It will send a
              new request from your browser to the server. Whereas, the jsp:forward is
              within the server itself.
              So the VO object whose scope is set to "request" will not retain its values
              between 2 http request.
              For such kind of parameter passing, you could very well store the info. in
              user's session object.
              I hope this helps.

  • Problems with values changed from timeout to event

    Hi all
    i've this question.
    I'm talking with an instrument (oscilloscope) asking it some values and i can see them into my labview panel (refreshing them every timeout loop).
    I can set different values into labview panel and the scope changes its settings so in the next loop my panel reads the new value from the scope.
    I obtain this with some events and all is working perfectly.
    My problem is this: when i click on an element (click generates an event) labview must finish timeout loop and only then executes the event, so the new value set by the user will be ignored.
    What can i do to execute the event "instantly" with new user values?
    tnx to all
    http://www.sd-studio.it - web design agency

    As per your description, the user input should be delayed, not ignored, because LV will execute the event at last.
    Anyway, to shorten the delay, you may simply set a 0 ms (or a very short, e.g. 10 ms) timeout for the event structure and manage a timeout "by hand". For example, you store in a shift register the last time you executed the refreshing code; when the timeout event executes, you subtract the last time value from the current time; if the difference is more than a given threshold, you actually execute the refreshing code.

  • [cs3] Passing values back from "do javascript" to AS

    Hi folks,
    I am betting this has been discussed before but the search engine is batting a 0 today, so...
    I have an Applescript that needs to call Bridge and display a Script UI dialog. Easy enough even for a JS amateur like me and I have that part working well. However, I think I am missing something either in the JS itself or the way I am calling it from AS such that I get a value passed back into AS.
    My AS code is something like:
    set jsPath to alias "Path:To:Scripts:Folder:slugDialog.jsx"
    set slugDialogJSX to ""
    --Read the javascript
    set thisFile to open for access jsPath without write permission
    set slugDialogJSX to read thisFile
    close access thisFile
    --Do the javascript
    tell application "Bridge CS3"
        activate
        set jsResults to do javascript slugDialogJSX
    end tell
    --Process the results
    if jsResults ≠ "" then
        --would do stuff, but jsResults is always undefined!
    end if
    And loosely, my Javascript goes like:
    #target bridge
    var finalVal = metaSlugger();
    function metaSlugger() {
        // do stuff
        return someString;
    I suspect I simply need to do some final step to have the JS pass the value back, but I'm getting hung up on JS n00bness here.
    If I try "return finalVal" it complains that I am trying to return outside a function?
    Thanks in advance,
    Eric.

    Thanks for the suggestion.
    Well, as near as I can tell the "do javascript" will in no way, shape or form pass info back out to Applescript from Bridge, and I need to grab the long user name from system info there.
    To be honest, I was just trying to do a nice elegant dialog box with Bridge because Illustrator CS2 didn't know Script UI and I thought since everyone has CS3 Bridge on their machines already... But I've settled for 3 Applescript dialogs instead, so the fight is over.
    1.5 days tinkering with JS. 1.5 hours recoding in AS. Whee...

  • How to pass value coming from a program to a transaction

    hi gurus,
    In my requirement i will get a value from a program and i need to send this value to a field present in a transaction.
    can any one help me in this matter.

    First got to the data element of the field to which you want to pass the value to and check the Parameter ID in the Further Characterstics tab
    For Example it is XYZ
    Then
    In BADI
    Set Parameter ID 'XYZ' Field P_FIELD_VALUE.
    Call Transaction 'ABCD'.

  • Passing values at run time through a JSP page to selection formula to crystal report

    <p>hi,</p><p>   i am using one jsp page.in that page there is a field to select a date </p><p>this value will go to the report and report contain one selection formula.</p><p>which value we are passing on that basis the report should display</p><p>with date which we are passing  from GUI.</p><p>help.............................................................</p><p>//R</p>

    I believe the value of this is based on the owner of the scheduled object.  So if the Admin is scheduling it on behalf of a user I think it should use the user the Admin scheduled on behalf of.  It should be simple to test, simply create a report with this value being displayed and nothing else and see what values you get.

  • Passing Values back from Custom Tag

    I'm using custom tags, and I'm trying to pass back values to the JSP page from a tag which is iterating over values it gets from an Array. But for some reason I can't access the values.
    Here is the Tag:
    public class MemberHelper extends TagSupport implements IterationTag {
        private Iterator iterator;
        protected Tag parent;
        protected PageContext pageContext;
        public MemberHelper() {
            super();
        public void otherDoStartTagOperations() {
            sfmember_prop_desc desc = new sfmember_prop_desc();
         ArrayList allt = new ArrayList();
         try {
                 allt = desc.GetAllCustom();
         } catch (java.sql.SQLException ex) {}
            if(allt.size() > 0)
             iterator = allt.iterator();

        public void otherDoEndTagOperations()  {
        public boolean shouldEvaluateRestOfPageAfterEndTag()  {
            return true;
        public int doStartTag() throws JspException, JspException {
           otherDoStartTagOperations();
           if (theBodyShouldBeEvaluated()) {
              return EVAL_BODY_INCLUDE;
           } else {
              return SKIP_BODY;
         public int doEndTag() throws JspException, JspException {
           otherDoEndTagOperations();
           if (shouldEvaluateRestOfPageAfterEndTag()) {
              return EVAL_PAGE;
           } else {
              return SKIP_PAGE;
        public int doAfterBody() throws JspException {
           if (theBodyShouldBeEvaluatedAgain()) {
              return EVAL_BODY_AGAIN;
           } else {

  • How does the abscissa change from time domain to frequence domain when running a FFT?

    I'm working on a program about broadband ultrasonic attenuation(BUA) and met a problem with X-scale of the waveform after FFT. I used 'FFT Spectrum (Mag-Phase)' vi, but the order of magnitude of X-scale seems not resonable compared with reference. I decided to use 'Real FFT' vi instead and calculate X-scale by myself, but don't know how to change the X-scale form time domain to frequence domian while FFT. Thanks!

    The VI 'FFT Spectrum (Mag-Phase).vi' will do the conversion for you correctly (following the formula given by Oleg), but only if you are providing the correct information about your sample rate, through the dt value (dt = 1 / Fsampling). If you only input your data array to the VI, it will "assume" you are sampling at 1 Hz, that is dt = 1.0 and your df will not be what you expect. So make sure you are using a Waveform Data Type, not a simple array. Use the Build Waveform primitive (located in your Waveform palette) to build a waveform with the correct dt value.
