Payables Interface Attribute Values

We are upgrading to R12 from R11. Currently in R11, we populate the AP_INVOICE_DISTRIBUTIONS_ALL table with DFF values (attributes). These DFF values are flowing through to Projects, which is what we need. (The DFF values are the external system PO numbers, work order numbers, etc.)
In R12, the Payables Interface populates the DFF in the "AP_INVOICE_LINES_ALL" table. This data is not flowing into the AP_INVOICE_DISTRIBUTIONS_ALL table. Since it is the Distributions table that ultimately flows into Projects. the DFF data is not getting into Projects.
We need the DFF values to flow from the Payables import interface through Payables and into Projects.
Is there a way to link the DFF (attributes) on the AP_INVOICE_LINES_ALL table to the AP_INVOICE_DISTRIBUTIONS_ALL? Or, is there another way to get it from the AP Interface and into Projects?

Hi all,
we try to install grid infrastructure 11GR2 (11.2.0.1) into Solaris Zone with shared network interface.
We also modified scirpt racgvip, so it will be able to login (via ssh with key authorization) to the global zone and add or remove interface on zone. Script itself works fine.
But it seems that orarootagent some how checks the interface, and returned error.
In the log of the orarootagent I can see error:

Does anybody know how the orarootagent checks for the network resource?
It seems that there are some procedures (NetworkAgent::checkLink, NetInterface::sGetIpAddress) inside it. But the problem is that this file is binary.
Or may be there are some ways to track how orarootagent checks?

I have a provider hosted app in sharepoint which works locally without problem. I followed this tutorial to publish it to azure

The issue here is the mapping of the interface to the service in question, and usually points to a possible mistype or rename of something within your service architecture.
You need to make sure your namespace and service name here match your service name itself.

Creating debit/credit memo in AP with Payables Interface

Hello guys,
I am able to create an invoice using the payables interface table AP_INVOICES_INTERFACE and running the Payables Open Interface concurrent program. My question is, is it possible to create a debit/credit memo in AP as well through the interface tables?

Hi.
If the invoice amount is zero or positive then the value is STANDARD. If the invoice amount is negative then the value is CREDIT. This means you can upload Standard invoices and Credit Memos.

Setting property attribute values for multiple selected objects.

Is there an easy way to set the attribute property values for more that one selected Table Operator Attribute (column) at a time. For example the target table has over 100 columns but I only want to INSERT/UPDATE 10 of those columns. The generated MERGE, INSERT and UPDATE statements will perform DML on all of the columns in the target table, setting the 90 columns with no mapping set to NULL. This is due to the Loading Properties 'Load Column when Updating Row' and 'Load Column when Inserting Row' both default to Yes. I would like to select multiple Attributes in the Table Operator and change the 'Load Column when Updating Row' and 'Load Column when Inserting Row' to No. This is similar to what you were able to do in Oracle Forms 9.0 Designer select multiple Items in a Block and change the properties en-masse.

Using OMB scripting to set attribute properties in a data mapping sort of defeats the purpose of utilizing a graphical user interface to define and set properties for a data mapping? Surely the GUI data mapping tool was created to get away from writing scripts and scripting would also require that you know the name of the data mapping, table operator and the set of attribute names for which you have to write one line of script to set each property value, i.e. 90 lines to set 90 attribute values.

API to create value set with attribute values ?

I was hoping someone might be able to help with this question.
I am creating a series of value set values using fnd_flex_val_api.create_independent_vset_value and fnd_flex_val_api.create_dependent_vset_value as part of a migration.
These APIs do not allow you to pass in attribute column values.
How can you create a value set value which has attribute values populated ? Is there another API does anyone know ?

Not able to read attribute value

Hello Experts.
I have child WD component say u201CBu201D, in this created node (Name : B) with one attribute (Name : Test) and selected as interface node.In this component I am setting the value for attribute (Name : Test).
I have added above WD component u201CBu201D in the parent WD Component u201CAu201D as Used Webdynpro Component. So I got node (Name : B) in the component parent Component u201CAu201D.
When I am trying to read attribute (Name : Test) it is coming empty in Parent Component u201CAu201D.
I have verified all the binding and basic things everything looks fine but I am getting empty value in Parent Component u201CAu201D.

I want to access Attribute 'TEST 'of the Component B in Component A. Normally it should come if node is exposed as interface BUT It is not coming.
Carlin, you will get the TEST attributes value in Component 'A' only if the value for 'TEST' attribute is set in Component 'B'.
in Component A, if you try to read the value of TEST attribute before its value been set in Component 'B' then you will get empty value only.
in some way you need to tell the component 'B' to set the value for 'TEST' Attribute before accessing it in Component A.
one way is to expose the SET_ATTRIBUTE method and calling the same from Component A
another way is to embed the B's interface view into A's view and then explicitly clicking on the buttons in B's interface view.
Unless the value is not set by Component B, if you it access in Component A, you will get initial value only.

Updating Schdedule Task Attributes values in OIM through our Code.

My Requirement is that I should be able to update the schedule task attributes through my reconciliation code. I tried my level best to find some API but unable to locate the API's to update the schedule task attribute.
I used to following funciton to update the schedule task attribtue value:

This API found is in the tcSchedulerOperationsIntf interface. However, I am unable to find any API to retrieve the scheduledTaskKeyand taskAttributeKey parameters for the currently executing schedule task. Currently, we use the getAttribute(String) method to retrieve the schedule task attributes. I would be very grateful if you could guide me on how to obtain the scheduledTaskKey. If I am able to get that, I think it would be possible to obtain the taskAttributeKey, though do let me know if there is a better approach to get this also.
I would be highly obliged if someone could tell me some better way or a code snippet through which I can update the schedule task attribute values.

Actually there are some attributes which doesn't makes sense if they reside in IT Resources as IT Resource are meant for keeping connection parameters which will be used during provisioning. For ex: Last Reconciled Record, Last Reconciled Timestamp. These two attributes doesn't makes sense if they reside in IT Resources.

Our Scenerio is using ISA R/3 B2B using AP 7.0. I have developed IPC routines but when i debug my routines in SM53 I notice that I'm not getting any attribute value except for VKORG.

You should be getting all the values in the recon event.
To get the current user states for all the records in the bulk event use this:
Identity[] currentUserStates = (Identity[]) eventDataHashMap.get("CURRENT_USER");
Now when you are looping through your bulkParametersp[], you can use the same get from the currentUserStates:
Identity currentUser = null;
currentUser = currentUserStates[counter];
Now if the attribute is not in your hashmap, you can use:
currentUserState.getAttributes().get(attribute)

getCurrentRow() would always return null if no setCurrentRow() is used.
Please check the page design and understand how many rows of VO are there. You can also use the following to get the row:
vo.reset();
vo.next();

Is there any table or FM from where I can get a list of all the attributes and the attribute values linked to a particular product?
I got tables which link product with Prod Category, Prod Category with Set types and so on.
Could anyoe please provide me an FM which will give the attribute and its values for a particular product?

Attributes created under s settype will be under the table with the name of that particular settype itself i.e Table name and the settype name are the same.
The other part of your question of where to find the list of all settypes and their corresposing attributes, you can make use of COMM_PR_FRG_REL.
